It was originally a WWIV door, I -> believe, though the board I used to play it on ran VBBS. Anyway, it's -> basic a BBS implementation of a social/creative MUD where your users -> can create their own rooms and items and just basically build a giant -> world. Some cool features, like the ability to upload text and ANSI -> (with moderation!) execute other doors from within the world, etc. It -> was an amazingly effective time sink back in the dial-up days. :) WOW, that is one monster of a games. The user manual is huge. I never seen a game with this many user commands. The only other game that comes to mind is Ultimate Universe. I installed it and ran INIT.EXE. It runs, but when i get to the message "Do you want to change the automessage?" I crashes with a "Runtime error 201 at 0910:05FC". Pascal error 201 is a "range check error". Not sure what that may mean. I'm wondering if my chain.txt file is correct. I used Doormaster to convert and it created a 30 line chin.txt file. I noticed there are no subdirs either.
