The World Flying Disc Federation's 2018 World Junior Ultimate Championships 
kicked off on Saturday, August 18 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. The event is 
hosting more than 800 young athletes from 31 teams and 18 countries in the 
Junior Under-20 Men's and Women's divisions.

Running from August 18-25 at RIM Park at the Manulife Financial Sportsplex, 
WJUC commenced with an opening ceremony followed by a showcase game between 
Canada and Germany in the Women's division, which the Canadians won by the 
score of 15-7.
