One thing compounding this exercise a bit is the fact that IrCOm also rowing a new boat this year (new to me...2016 Filippi F44; previous 2013 Hudson S1.11). I think I have the rigging pretty much dialed in now. I have to say that since IrCOm rigged farther through the pin, IrCOve also changed my oar rigging a bit. Today was 86/285 and they felt awesome. The catch is absolutely rock solid and the finishes are easier than my Smoothie2rCOs. That might be because there feels as if thererCOs a definite rCYendrCY to the stroke length with these oars. And again, light, light, light. Wednesday morning is a hard sculling practice so I will be able to see how close I stay to my benchmark guy.
