I've stress tested with 21 nodes, 1 local 20 telnet. BBS ran just fine, Linux,  
2gb memory 32gb SSD, Atom 1.4ghz. I didn't test 20 doors open tho maybe 5-6  
nodes with active doors. The most  my BBS has seen since the 1990's is 4 at a  
time, and it was durring the WWIV Chat load test we did a few months ago.
