Minor is currently 5 and point release is 0, That format sounds perfect. It would be great for users to be able to download the BBS ZIP files directly from the BBS. Since we don't have an automatic way to push these to all WWIVnet systems, it would still be fun and old school to upload them to each BBS. My only issue (which is specific to me) is my transfers don't work due to the Mystic front-end I'm using. We had discussed eventually making the WWIV front end have the ability to do the same thing, where it could accept commands and do telnets from the front end. Basically, the way mine works is Mystic technically answers all tcp/23 and does the script kiddie/bot blocking routines. It has a shuttle menu that allows me to then to either login to Mystic or telnet to my WWIV BBS (which basically does a local telnet to my eCS VM with the WWIV BBS nodes/SIO drivers, etc.) If I could front everything with WWIV, that should fix this long standing problem. Basically, I would reverse what I am doing today. WWIV would front WWIV and Mystic instead of Mystic fronting WWIV and Mystic. - Mark :.: Weather Station BBS ú telnet://bbs.weather-station.org :.: :.: http://www.weather-station.org/bbs ú Bel Air, Maryland - USA :.: ÿÿÿÿÿÿ --- WWIVToss v.1.52 * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (11:1/101.0) .
