Just had a look at that, a couple of questions.. 

1. Does GENERAL.TAG go in wwiv\data? (The location seems to be empty on the  
web page)

2. Is it just a text file? I noticed the INTERNET.TAG "has no leading ^D" does  
that imply that the others do?

3. Is GENERAL.TAG applied to FTN message bases? (I guess so, unless you  
disable tags? would it be above the origin line?)
