lol.  I could go on and on when it comes to tech and nerdy stuff.  I spent some 
time yesterday evening adding more smart switches in the basement and 
configuring them in Home Assistant.  I'm big on home automation (non-cloud 
based).  

I'm also patiently waiting for my RAID5 recompose the complete.  It has been 
running for 2 1/2 weeks now and probably has another 3-4 days to go.  I keep 
adding more 14TB drives, but will not do more than 10 in an array as that just 
raises the risk too high - even with enterprise drives.

I would love to upgrade my main PC and (2) of my Supermicros eventually.  Just 
have to keep my budget under control and do things little by little.  If it 
wasn't for needing all the DDR4 ECC memory, I would have already upgraded the 
Supermicro motherboard and CPUs.  The memory is what gets a bit pricey when you 
need 300GB each.  We have not retired any of those systems yet at work, or I 
would be repurposing that hardware.
