I see a lot of "boy racers" buzzing around with subaru wrx sti type cars and 
everyone has mud flaps on them. I know that these are a requirement on trucks 
and they help keep stones from zapping your windshield yet, what is the 
efficacy or benefit of mud flaps on a passenger car or, on a hot hatch?
