So stumbled upon a nice cream puff the other day, a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis  
with 1-owner 85K miles, everything works (minus passenger side power window 
motor),  been garaged its whole life, owned by an elderly man who recently 
passed.   Picked it up for $1,500.

She rides like a yacht, and oh so comfortable.  Never really saw me as the  
kind of dude who would drive this type of yacht, but after reading up how  
these things are built like tanks with their v8 motors and last forever I  
couldn't pass it up.  Took it out for a cruise last night and damn - she just  
floats.  Not really sure what I'll end up doing with it except to save for  
weekend fun and cruising.

Just need me some hipster threads and I can be stylin' like the 20-somethings  
I see driving grandpa cars around town.  Did pull up in the parking lot of a  
7-11 and got a thumbs up from a bunch of teenagers, so must be doing something  
right - LOL.
