Only thing I don't like is they are not good for the back. Impalas are great cars. In my experience, the larger the car the longer th engine runs without issues. Everything else might fall apart, but the engine still works. That is what happened with my old 80' Malibu back in the day. It still ran when I sold it. Lots of other issues (broken door handles, no speedo, no A/C, no gas gauge, brake lines snapped from rust, interier sagging, trim pieces falling off, etc. T> My 21 year old caravan is running strong. Haven't done a whole lot to T> it over the years either. I'll keep it until it falls apart. Are those the ones that had transmission issues? I remember some Chrylser vans having issues with transmissions, but otherwise good. My Durango has to get it's transmission rebuild after 130k. Not really the transmissions fault in this case. It was the radiator that failed - causing the transmission fluid and antifreeze to mix. The motor got trans fluid and the trans got antifreeze. What a freaking mess that was! The pressure caused the main radiator hose to explode and that mess went everywhere and then the truck overheated. - Mark :.: Weather Station BBS ú telnet://bbs.weather-station.org :.: :.: http://www.weather-station.org/bbs ú Bel Air, Maryland - USA :.: ÿÿÿÿÿÿ --- WWIVToss v.1.52 * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (11:1/101.0) .
