Just read an article on how a ton of Bronco's are sitting on a lot waiting for 
chips. I wonder if anyone even remembers a time where there was no chips at 
all. Simply a few relays and your mechanical blinker flasher device.

This all wrapped up in the mid 1980's all cars began to have sensors and 
electronic controls over the engine. Then came the ABS system the SRS system 
and it all sprawled all over from there. 

So I just wonder if anyone remembers a time when chip shortage would't impact 
vehicle deleverys.
