I recently bought a Rolands Blues Cube. It's solid state but the Germans  
emulated the preamp pathway of a 57 Fender Bassman and it's class A/B  
transistors. It mimics a tube amp so well that it's effing awesome. Not to  
mention it's a blonde tweed tolex and looks like an old Fender. Not a  modeling 
amp, just lots of tone. I really love it.
