It probably wouldn't be too difficult for someone who knows programming. I run  
one I picked up off either Git or SourceForge. Called Grumpy Web & Gopher. Not  
certain that the author is keeping it updated though.

The hard part is finding a web server that can support the simplicity that is  
Gopher. There was a Firefox Extension some time back but I think that went away 
 with a security update. Today, it's mostly via proxy.
