BW> BW> How does / did it typically work over there? When cell phones first came out, I remember the rates being at least .25 per minute. At that time, text wasn't even an option. We still have beeper/pagers. I only had a cell phone for work and they paid the bill. Otherwise, I would have never had one. That is still the case today, actually. Around here you can get unlimited cell phone plans for around $25-$50/month. That is unlimited calls/text/data. Some carriers still have plans you have to buy data, but more are shifting away from that. I have never paid for my cell phone, so when I retire I'll probably get some cheap plan since I use my phone more as a tool vs way to communicate. I never call/talk to people on the cell in public. I can't stand being that accessable. - Mark :.: Weather Station BBS ú telnet://bbs.weather-station.org :.: :.: http://www.weather-station.org/bbs ú Bel Air, Maryland - USA :.: ÿÿÿÿÿÿ --- WWIVToss v.1.52 * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (11:1/101.0) .
