That is great!  Having a solid budget is a lost skill that many have ignored. 
Our government certainly doesn't set a good example - but personal 
responsibility is important.  Creating your own destination and ignoring all 
the other noise. No one owes anyone anything. If you want something, you need 
to go out and figure out a way to get it.  That is how I have always lived my 
life.  Good to hear that some others are still doing the same.
