Since I am kicking off this shiny new gopherhole as a separate thing, this
is my introduction post. And since I have recently rewatched Hackers, it only
seemed appropriate to dispense with the usual "Hello World" crap and use a
message that better conveys the sentiments I have for our current world (as
long as we are still stuck on this one planet):

Even though I also have a cabin on gemini [1], I wanted to split up the content
because a) not everything I write is relevant for gopherspace and b) I want to
use this nook of the internet for some different ramblings of my mind. I might
cross-post the occasional article if I feel it is relevant, but it will be a
manual process.

Now, back to the work at hand...
