Each row consists of staggered blocks of varying width. Upon hitting a block, it may be cracked, and take further damage before breaking: other blocks will break with a single hit. Every time the ball hits a wall or block, it will bounce around. When it returns to the top side of the screen, you must shift your paddle around for the ball to bounce off of it and move back down to hit more blocks. As each level progresses, the speed of the ball shall increase. If you miss deflecting the ball, you lose one of your balls. In many levels, you have circular blocks that will sometimes be broken on a single impact. At other times, however, striking a circular block will turn it into a wheel. Hitting it again will give you a go around of Wheel of Fortune. Djali Bowling ------------- Djali Bowling uses a weird 6-pin bowling set-up with 10 frames (apparently this is a common type of bowling in Japan). Djali the goat will line up at the start of the bowling alley, and move left and right automatically - you must press the A button to stop him at a specific point. You can then select between three presumably Japanese characters on the wall. The top one will send your shot at a curve angle towards the left, the centre character will send your shot straight forward, and the bottom character a curve shot towards the right. The final thing to do with any shot is the amount of power behind the shot with a cursor that goes up and down automatically. Once you press the A button to lock in a specific amount of power, Djali will roll up and go forward, striking the pins at the end. Catch the Fool -------------- Catch the Fool is similar to a lot of old time Atari games. In a static-screen area, your character can move left and right on a ground with a trampoline. Above you is a building with three windows with varying partygoers. Every so often somebody will jump out of a window, and you must move your trampoline to cause the fool to bounce back up. Each person will take between one to three bounces before finally getting back into the building. You do not take damage or anything if you let somebody hit the ground. Rather, you are given a limited amount of time, with a time bar running out on-screen. In the first level, you must catch 10 fools and send them back to safety. This total increases to 11 for the second level, 12 for the third level, etc. After each level is finished, your remaining time is applied as a score bonus to your total score. The partygoers may also drop one of three items out: a clock, which increases your total time available left, an arrow, which increases your score by 100, and a bag with a G on it, which paralyses your character in place for a few seconds. Upsy Daisy ---------- Upsy Daisy is somewhat of a Balloon Fight clone, except extremely simplified and awful controls. You fight against an opponent, both of you having several balloons, in the skies of Paris. By pressing the B button repeatedly you can slowly give yourself lift to gain some altitude, as well as do a punch at your opponent. To win, you need to get some height over your opponent, and punch at his balloons to pop them one at a time. When you pop all of them, you win (and conversely lose if all of your balloons are popped). Picture Puzzle -------------- Picture Puzzle is basically a 3x3 game of Scramble where you are given 8 pieces on a 3x3 board with one empty space, and must shuffle the 8 pieces around to make the picture fit. Press the A button to bring up what the final picture should look like (sans the final missing piece). Wheel of Fortune/Funfair ------------------------ Whenever you complete a game, or break a wheel block in Chiseler, you can get a 5-digit ticket number to punch in at the Funfair. After doing a countdown of the 5 mini-games, you will be given a challenge to attempt in that specific game, such as getting an exact score of 32 in 6 games at Djali Bowling. Options ------- Here, you can toggle the music and sound effects on and off, and change the difficulty from Easy to Medium to Hard. ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- Codes -~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ [CODE] Credits to Mezmorize99 and nensondubois for the codes they assembled on GameFAQs. You do not have to buy anything right away, but (if you do not clear browser cookies often) any items you buy within the next 90 days will count as a 'referral order' to me, meaning I get anywhere from 4-6% as a referral/affiliate payment of what you ordered (ie. order $100 worth of stuff, I get $4-6 from Amazon.com) www.amazon.com/?&camp=212361&linkCode=wsw&tag=raofavigafa-20&creative=391881 Other than that, considering this FAQ is for an obscure old game, if you have any other obscure old games that you do not play anymore, consider sending them to me (I will even pay the shipping cost!). I write FAQs for plenty of obscure old games with no FAQs, and having a physical copy of the game (and even better, a manual) is superior to not.
