If you haven't already, get a Game Boy camera. The printer is OK. It prints very small, and is not at all nescarry. The GB Cam has TONS of modes, camera tricks, games, and other stuff. Even the DJ Music Mixer is extremly advanced! Here are the GB Cam's scores: Graphics (of pics): 9.7/10 Sound 10/10 Control (in stamping and painting modes) 6/10 Interface (Ease of use) 9.9/10 Coolness 10/10 Nintendo Power gave it an overall 8.3, which was better than every game (includeing N64 and SNES in that issue, except Banjo-Kazooie) Packageing The GB Cam comes in a box the same as the Game Boy Pocket (colored ones). It's cardbord is thicker than other GB games. Also the box is bigger. On the front it shows what color you got and a picture of the GB Cam ONLY in that color. (no GB) It has the regular GB graphic on the side, and has the GB Cam logo on the bottom of the front. It says: Turns Any Game Boy System into A Digital Camera The sides show the color your's is and a pic of the cam itself, plus a bar code and the GB Cam logo. The camera head can be turned so you take a pic of yourself, to the side, or like a regular digital cam. Only turn it clockwise!!!! The actual lens in very tiny, but the black hole in fairly large. You insert the GB cam like a regular game, and it fits perfectly with a pocket or regular or play-it-loud. The cam adds almost no weight to the GB and you can still fit it in your pocket ****************Software Operation************** I'm not going to go into any of the basic stuff, 'cause that's all in your instruction booklet. If you don't have a book, call 1-800-255-3700 and buy one ***************Tricks and fun stuff to do************* montage- try using a stuffed animal or beanie-baby in the montage where it's split once, horrizontaly There are many secret pictures in the GB Cam. These are called the B Album. I ahve figured out how to get all of these from various sources. Picture B18: Old fashioned pic of Mario. Get first on Run!Run!Run (under 20 seconds?) and raise the flag (press A VERY rapidly at the awards screen to raise the flag.). Picture B23: A man and a bear playing music. Beat Space Fever II three times to get this picture. Picture B24: Little Wario Beat Space Fever II a third time to get this pic. Picture B25: Japanese GB Camera art Beat Space Fever II five times (or get 10,000 points?). Picture B26: R.O.B, the Robotic Operating Buddy Get 500 points on Ball. Picture B27: Big Boo Get 750 points on Ball. Picture B29: Old fashioned pic of Donkey Kong and Mario Get first on Run!Run!Run! (under 20 seconds?) and raise the flag. Picture B30: Wing Cap Mario Get first on Run!Run!Run! under 17:50 and raise the flag. I beleive there are more as well- if you know how to get any more, please e-mail me! Here's another neat trick- try holding up or down while you see the dancing mario on the title screen. Connect your GB Cam to a Super Game Boy and record your animations with a VCR. Then- at the VERY last frame (do NOT loop it) pause your VCR, delete your whole animation and make a part 2! Now you cna make long animations. Try holding down FEED while turning your game boy printer on. ****The Game Link Cable**** The universal game link cable comes with yuor game boy printer, or cna be bought sepratly. It allows you to hook up a GB Pocket to a GB Pocket, or a GB Pocket or a GB Regular. Do NOT CONNECT 3 DEVICES TO TEH CORD!!! IT IS NOT FOR THAT! You can transfer images to someone else with a GB Cam using the game link cable. Connect both GBs and have both people press select at the main menu and go up to link. Then goto transfer (not print). Now, choose: 1. The first person goes to send 2. the second person goes to send 3. the first person goes to receive 4. the second person goes to receive Do not do 2 of these. When one goes to send, he/she will select an image that will- as long as the otehr person is in link mode- to treasferred to the other person. When one goes to receive, as long as the other is in link mode- he/she will be able to access the persons A album from their game boy! Kinda like hacking, isn't it! then, when he/she selects one from the thumbnails that he likes, he will press A. The other person will be notifyed on their GB Cam that that person has requested that pic. The person can let them have it or cancel out. NEVER PULL THE GAME LINK FROM GBs WHILE THEY ARE IN LINK MODE! NOTE: When you send an image to someone, YOU LOSE IT!! So make a copy by going into Select At The Main Menu, edit and album, and then move the hand onto the word DELETE and press A. It will change to copy. Make a copy of the hptoo in question, and send the person the copy, so you don't lose it! ****Animation**** Animations are fun to make a greater fun to watch! If you want to try a simple animation, go into time lapse mode, and set it to 1 sec and all the photos you can fit. Then set the cam down and dance in front of it- after you have started the mode, of course- Then, when it is over, go into animation editing mode and press select and goto sort at the top. Built in tricks in animation: Take the pic of the WOW that is small and put it down Take the WOW big and put it down Take The WOW small and put it down You now what a neat little animated WOW coming at you! Take the pic of the scrambled up snow (like on a TV) and put it down Alternate the two for a while and look at the animation! E-MAIL ME!!!!!!! ASK ME QUESTIONS AND STUFF!
