I will also describe the solo play for the 6 board maps. The 1st 5 worlds in this game are based off of places and towns around the world. ************************************************************ Grand Canal 3.1 ************************************************************ This board is like a little coastal European Town. It has a very European look to it. This is the most simple board map in the game. It has one big Blooper sitting at the top of the board. You get starts here the old fashioned way. Find Toadsworth and pay him 20 coins for a star. A good map for people who want to play the old way and for starters. The Solo Cruise: the first player to get 2 stars wins!! ************************************************************ Pagoda Peak 3.2 ************************************************************ This board takes place way up high in an ancient land. Seems to resemble some old Asian Town. There is no branching paths on this board. It is all one straight path up a mountain. Once you reach the peak you can by a star. A star starts at 10 coins, but each time someone buys one it goes up in price until it reaches 40 coins, then after 40 it drops back down to 10. Another good map for starters. The Solo Cruise: the first person to obtain 100 coins and reach the peak will win!! ************************************************************ Pyramid Park 3.3 ************************************************************ This place is just like it's name, Pyramid Park. In this stage you start out with 5 stars. There are chain chomps scattered around the board. Pay a Chain-Chomp to ride it, and if you pass an opponent you steal their star!! The Solo Cruise: you must steal the star from Bandit, who is roaming around, with a chain-chomp. Once you get the star, you must return it to the Bowser Sphinx. A really fun map. ************************************************************ Windmillville 3.4 ************************************************************ This board takes place in a Holland like place. In this board there are 7 windmills. Each Windmill has a certain amount of stars. If you buy the Windmill with coins, you get the stars in it. But someone can always buy them, too!! If say, you deposit 8 coins, and buy the Windmill and get a star, if someone comes later and pays 10 coins they get the windmill and steal the star from you. A awesome board for those who want something new. The Solo Cruise: you must deposit coins to fix the Windmills. The first player to fix 3 windmills wins. ************************************************************ Neon Heights 3.5 ************************************************************ A very modern day board, this board is a huge city!! I personally love this board. Anyway, there are 3 chests around the board, one of which has a star. You must pay 10 coins to open a chest. Once someone finds the star, all the chests will shuffle around again. There is a ton of interesting happenings on this fun board!! The Solo Cruise: the first player to nab 3 stars wins!! A good board for some interesting events. ************************************************************ Bowser's Enchanted Inferno 3.6 ************************************************************ This is Bowser's stage, obviously. It is a fiery inferno with sinking islands. There are many happenings on this board that can hurt you. You get stars here the old fashioned way, find Toadsworth and pay him 20 coins for a star. Be careful, though, the islands on this board sink, if the island with the star sinks, the star will move somewhere else, if you are on the island that sinks, say good bye to half your coins. Islands stay sunk until another one is sunk. The Solo Cruise: you must find a star and go to Bowser, and you must challenge Bowser to a duel!! If you win the duel, you win. If you lose you must go find another star and duel him again. This is an awesome board for advanced players and those who want to play the old fashioned way. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | How and Where to Obtain Orbs 4.0 | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| In Mario Party 7, there are a few different ways to obtain orbs. The possible ways are: 1. Going to an Orb shop and purchasing an orb 2. Getting an orb from an orb space Now that you know where to get orbs, I will go into more detail about every orb there is in Mario Party 7 NOTE: There is no cost for orbs because the cost varies with what place your in. Naturally, 4th place will get cheaper orbs than 1st place. Also, some orbs are not available in all worlds. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | (Green)Use on Yourself Orbs 5.0 | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| All green orbs are orbs that you use on yourself, which means that you use the orb and it helps you in some way. ************************************************************ Mushroom Orb 5.1 ************************************************************ rareness: */***** The Mushroom Orb is the most common orb in the game. You can purchase it for only 5 coins at the orb shops through the different board maps. When you use it, you get to roll 2 dice blocks instead of only 1. Special effects: If you get doubles of any number, except for 7, you get 10 coins. If you get double 7s, you get 20 coins. ************************************************************ Super Mushroom Orb 5.2 ************************************************************ rareness: **/**** The super Mushroom Orb is common, just like the mushroom orb. It also works in the same general way. When you use a Super Mushroom orb, you get to roll 3 dice bocks, instead of only 1. special effects: If you get 3 of the same number, except for 7, you get a coin bonus. If you get triple 7s, you get a very large coin bonus. ************************************************************ Slow 'Shroom Orb 5.3 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** The slow 'shroom can be one of the most useful orbs in the game. When you use the orb on yourself, the dice block starts to roll very slowly. When it is rolling slowly, it is very easy for you to get the number you want, which will allow yo uto get to a space that you want. The get the space you want, hit the dice block right before it turns to the number you want (to get a 7, hit the dice block on the end of the 6). That will make sure that you get the number you want. ************************************************************ Metal Mushroom Orb 5.4 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** The metal mushroom orb is used to prevent the effect of a roadblock orb for 1 turn. When you use the Metal Mushroom, you turn metal, hence the name "metal mushroom". While metal, you can bypass all of your enemy's roadblock orbs without it activating on you. Special effects: When you bypass the enemy's roadblock orb, you also destroy it, so it will no longer be there ************************************************************ Flutter Orb 5.5 ************************************************************ rareness: ****/***** to *****/***** The flutter orb is one of the best orbs in the game; flutter will come and take you right to the star. After you choose to get the star, you will then roll the dice bock and continue on with your turn. ************************************************************ Cannon Orb 5.6 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** to ***/***** Only available in: Pagoda Peak The Cannon orb is one of 2 world-specific orbs for Pagoda Peak. When you use the Cannon orb on yourself, your character jumps into a cannon and is shot up the Mountain. The distance shot up the mountain is random, so sometimes you will get far, sometimes not. ************************************************************ Lakitu Orb 5.7 ************************************************************ rareness: *****/***** to *****/***** Only available in: Neon Heights When you get a Lakitu orb and you use it, Lakitu appears and brings you a treasure chest on the board. It will either be a bob-omb or a star. Most of the time it is a star, though, so it is usually worth getting; it can help you when you need it. ************************************************************ Snack Orb 5.8 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** to ***/***** Only available in: Pyramid Park the snack orb protects you a lot in Pyramid Park. When you use the orb, it lasts for 3 turns, or until a Chain Chomp passes you. If a chain chomp passes you, your character will throw the bone in the air, the chain chomp will jump to get it, and he will totally miss you. If a chain chomp doesn't come in 3 turns, the bone will disappear. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | (Yellow)Thrown (character spaces) Orbs 6.0 | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| All yellow orbs in this game create spaces in the shape of the character (or team) that used them. When an opponent lands on them, something will happen. I will describe what will happen with each orb that you use. ************************************************************ Hammer Bro Orb 6.1 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** Any opponent who lands here owes you 10 coins. A solid orb. Try getting a bunch and then putting them all right next to each other. They will probably hit more than 1, and you will get a lot of coins in return. ************************************************************ Piranha Plant Orb 6.2 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** This orb can prove to be very useful. If an opponent lands on it, they will owe you half of all their coins!! ************************************************************ Spear Guy Orb 6.3 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** This is another good orb. Whoever lands on it must roll a dice block. Whatever number they get on the dice block, is how many coins they will have to give you. The numbers can range from very low to 30 or higher! This orb can make a big difference sometimes! ************************************************************ Kamek Orb 6.4 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** Yet another great orb. If an opponent lands here, they will owe you 3 of their character spaces. They will automatically become yours. If they have less than 3 character spaces, Kamek will take all of the spaces that they have. That can make a big difference, especially if Kamek gives you good orbs. ************************************************************ Toady Orb 6.5 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** An average orb. If someone lands on this space, they will have to give you one of their orbs. It is totally random, so sometimes you get lucky and other times you don't. ************************************************************ Mr. Blizzard Orb 6.6 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** When an opponent lands on this orb, all of the orbs they are carrying with them are given to you. If they have none, then it will be a wasted orb. So, it's basically all-or-nothing ************************************************************ Pink Boo Orb 6.7 ************************************************************ rareness: ****/***** to *****/***** If an opponent lands here, they will lose 1 star. If they don't have a star, they will lose 20 coins. This orb can be VERY helpful, especially if you are behind. This orb is like "boo" from the older Mario Party games ************************************************************ Bandit Orb 6.8 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** to ***/***** Only available in: Windmillville When an opponent lands on this orb, some of their coins from a windmill they own will be stolen. That can cause them to lose the windmill! And you could get lucky and it could go to you, possibly giving you 3 stars. This orb can be very good. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | (red)Roadblock orbs 7.0 | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| roadblock orbs are orbs that you throw and a hologram of your character's head (or team's symbol) appears over the space. As soon as someone passes the roadblock orb, something happens. I will describe the possibilities for each orb now. ************************************************************ Spiny Orb 7.1 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** When an opponent passes this orb, they will automatically give you 10 of their coins. ************************************************************ Zap Orb 7.2 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** to ***/***** The zap orb is a good way to make your opponents lose coins fast. When your opponent passes the zap orb, every space they move (including the space with the orb on it), they will lose 3 coins. So, especially if they get a 9 or 10, they will lost a lot of coins; it is a good way to stop opponents from having enough coins to get to the star. ************************************************************ Tweester Orb 7.3 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** to ***/***** A perfect orb for putting right before the star. If an opponent passes this orb, they will be blown off to another space, far from the one they were originally on. ************************************************************ Thwomp Orb 7.4 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** When an opponent passes this orb, a thwomp smashes them into the ground and they stop moving for that turn. Also very helpful if put before the star! ************************************************************ Warp Pipe Orb 7.5 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** If an opponent passes this space, they will be sent back to the space that they started their turn on. Very helpful if they rolled a large number; they will be sent back a long way ************************************************************ Bob-omb Orb 7.6 ************************************************************ rareness: **/***** to ***/***** Only available in: Pagoda Peak When someone passes this space, a bob-omb will fall and they will be forced back down part of the mountain. It usually puts them back 10 spaces or so, so that could make a difference. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | (blue)character-specific orbs 8.0 | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Blue orbs are orbs that only 2 characters in the game can get. Every set of characters get their own blue orb, so pick a character with a blue orb you like. I will explain the characters and the orb's effects below. ************************************************************ Fireball Orb 8.1 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** Only available to: Mario and Luigi This orb is a good orb for the Mario bros. When one of the bros uses this orb, fireballs fly around them. When they pass someone, they have to give up coins. Also, if someone passes them on their turn, they will still lose coins to the user of the orb. Lasts for 3 turns. Disadvantages: Cannot use any green orbs while this is in effect. ************************************************************ Flower Orb 8.2 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** Only available to: Peach and Daisy This orb creates flowers on every space you pass for 1 turn. Every space you pass you gain 3 coins for, while still avoiding roadblock spaces. good for when there is a long string of roadblock spaces! ************************************************************ Egg Orb 8.3 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** Only available to: Birdo and Yoshi This orb should be used when you need orbs. When you activate it, you will throw eggs at all of the orbs in your way for 1 turn. All of the orbs you get become yours, except for koopa kid orbs; they just disappear. All extra orbs you collect over 3 will have to be thrown away, so use it when you don't have a lot of orbs. ************************************************************ Vacuum Orb 8.4 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** Only available to: Waluigi and Wario When you use this orb, you spin a wheel. The numbers are sort of low, but you can get up to 10 coins from your opponents, so 30 total. Once you get the number, the vacuum sucks up the coins and gives them to you. It helps when you're low on coins! ************************************************************ Magic Orb 8.5 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** Only available to: Boo and Dry bones This orb gets you very far on the board without a problem. When you activate it, you turn invisible, which makes you impervious to all roadblock orbs. It lasts for 2 turns. It also doubles your dice block on both of those turns, so instead of a 5, you would have a 10 and so on. So, you could move 40 spaces without being effected by any roadblock spaces. Disadvantages: You are not protected from character spaces, only roadblock orbs. also, you cannot use an green orbs while this orb is in use, either ************************************************************ Triple 'Shroom Orb 8.6 ************************************************************ rareness: ***/***** Only available to: Toad and Toadette This orb is another orb in effect for 3 turns. As the name implies, you get to roll 2 dice blocks for 3 turns. You cannot use other green orbs during this time, though. This ca nget you across the board very fast! |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | (purple)other Orbs 9.0 | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| This category is for the only other orb in this game, the Koopa Kid orb. This orb is an orb that is not good for anyone! ************************************************************ Koopa Kid Orb 9.1 ************************************************************ rareness: */***** This orb is an orb that is often VERY bad for everyone. If someone lands on it, a koopa kid will appear and do several bad things. Bowser can also force you to buy one of these orbs when he takes over an orb shop. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Contacting ShadowMaster635 10.0 | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| My email address is Shadowmaster635(AT)hotmail(DOT)com.
