Introduction ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This walkthrough is for finishing the game with the goal of being able to choose between both endings at the very end in mind. For the most part, I will assume you will have no trouble beating the enemies. The guide will focus on the puzzle aspects of the game. The guide will be split by the time portal of past, present, and location on the map. I'd try my best so you can follow what I'm doing. It might be tough without any pictures, so try and visualize the best that you can. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- II. Remarks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ******************************************************************************* [Part A: General Words] ******************************************************************************* The Walkthrough is meant for the puzzle aspect. When I have more time and when I feel up to it, I'd go back through to mark out all the locations for different artwork chest and special weapons. But I'm sure someone will eventually release an In-Depth FAQ that'd cover those aspects. Currently, I have problems backtracking and obtaining Life Upgrade #2, #4, and #6 starting from the very end of the game. Your FAQ says I should be chased by the Dahaka, but that doesn't happen!" - This happens with people playing on the PS2 with leaked/pirated version. Buy the game and you should be able to play through no problem. #2 - "I didn't see a cut scene with the Dahaka breaking open a wall! Now I'm standing at the [beam] like you said and jumped to the broken wall. But I can't go anywhere!" - This also happens with people playing on the PS2 with leaked/pirated version. But, it is also a genuine bug that happens to a few people and when they restarted the game from earlier save, it went away (or so I've been told). #3 - "I'm at the end game where you push $#&(@%& through the [Time Portal]. But when I try to follow and enter the [Time Portal], it doesn't do a thing!" - I don't know why this is happening. I suggest an earlier savegame and try it again. If not, I attribute this to the initial reason, buy the game, and it should go away. #4 - "I just turned into an ugly looking creature! How did I become so ugly all of the sudden?" - The game just glitched on you. If this happens, don't immediately try to load your other save games, rather turn off the game and then reload another save game and hope you still aren't the ugly wraith. If you are, try to get the game exchanged. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- III. Walkthrough ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ******************************************************************************* [Part 1: The Pirate Ship] ******************************************************************************* Segment 1 - On deck (File 01/21) It's linear. Fight the boarders, and just keep moving. There is a certain spot that you might have to trigger to cause some explosion to happen. When it's done right, some guy will fall from above, causing you to drop down. Segment 2 - In ship (File 01/21) You land on water, drink, and move forward. Linear. Segment 3 - On deck (File 01/21) You get back on deck. Kill the enemies then move toward the captain's quarters. Here, you fight boss. [Boss Tip - Shahdee Fight #1] - Just slash and block. When she blocks, start to block her furry of attacks. In the middle of her combo, hit X to do a combo brreeeaaker. - Jumping over her works really well too. ******************************************************************************* [Part 2: On Shore] ******************************************************************************* Segment 1 - Beach - Present (File 02/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 00:34)) Save Title: [Wreckage] Goal: [Reach the Fortress Entrance (Present)] Linear. Hop, jump, do whatever the tutorial tells you to do. It's easy enough. When you jump across a rather big chasm after you saved the game. You'd have to jump up on ledge toward the north part of the screen. On reaching what seem to be a dead end of tree trunk? Jump off to a floating island of sort toward south. Then move toward the right side of the screen, jumping and leaping. You'd reach an area with bunch of poles. Jump up on the poles, then go from one pole to the next until you reach the next area. In the next area, you should see a "rat hole" that you'd be able to roll through. Go in. Keep going until you reach a portcullis/gate. Climb up on the rock to the left of the gate, then run up the wall to hang on the top. Go over. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 2 - Fortress Entrance - Present (File 02/21) Goal: [Reach the Fortress Entrance (Present)] Go straight. Cut scene. Fight. Move back toward the portcullis and the door to the left of the portcullis should now be open. Fountain on your left. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 3 - Fortress Entrance - Present (File 02/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 00:47)) Save Title: [The Ruined Fortress] Goal: [Reach the Fortress Entrance (Present)] Jump and leap until you reach a big room, and ravens come together to form a monster. A tip -- jumping over him and slashing him in the process is the best way to go. (I'm playing as I write this, and I don't even bother killing him) From the initial entrance looking at where the raven monster was, turn right and run up the wall there to reach the upper levels. Remember you have to run up the wall, then JUMP before you reach the apex to bounce off the wall. Run against the wall toward the column, and jump to grab on the column. Jump across the columns until you land on the next platform. Turn right and you'd be staring at another chasm. Run against the wall and grab a hold of the ledge on the opposite side. Go up on the platform, then run against the wall back to where you first came and you should grab on the ledge above. Pull yourself up. Jump up. Pull yourself up and you should see a pole to the right of you. Jump across. At the platform, you should see a button on the wall. Run up the wall and hit the button, then go through the door. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 4 - Fortress Entrance - Present (File 02/21) Save Title: [???] Goal: [Reach the Fortress Entrance (Present)] You're now in a room with curtain to your right. Follow the tutorial, and get to the bottom of the room. I ignored all the enemies here, but you can kill them if you like. When you're done with surveying the room, there is a pole in the middle of the room, with rock steps to its left (if you look from where you came in). Go up on the rock steps, then wall-run up to grab on the ledge. Shimmy around the ledge and go on the platform. Kill the one enemy here, then move to the end of the platform. You should be able to look down on the whole room. The ledge you need to be on is the opposite end. Wall-run on LEFT WALL across to grab a hold of the ledge (you need to be hanging instead of standing on the ledge), then shimmy around and out of the room. You should be in a hall way now. Keep going straight, you'd see Shahdee, and follow her through the Time Portal. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 5 - Fortress Entrance - Past (File 02/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 00:51)) Save Title: [First Steps in the Past] Goal: [Chase the Girl in Black (Past)] Move back toward the direction from where you came. Traps are active now. Avoid the spinning spike columns. Time your wall-run so you won't get hit. The game will now pan across a room with focus on a button and curtain. That's where you need to go. From the entrance, go into the room and the perspective should change. Go north and jump on the pole, shimmy up and jump off onto the ledge of the column. Shimmy toward the left and get up on the platform. You should hit the treasure chest for artwork. Run around the corner of the platform and you should see the entrance below. Jump across and hang on the ledge above the entrance. Shimmy around the ledge and then stand on top to jump across. Now, you should be able to see the button. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL across the button, then drop down via the curtain. Run through the door. This room should look familiar. Don't leave it quite yet, we want to get the [First Life Upgrade]! Head left instead of going into the trap filled hallway. Wall-run up, and jump across to platform on top. Wall-run on LEFT WALL across to the next platform. Now, go to the stair steps, and instead of going up, there should be a small area to the left of the stair with barrels and button. Break the barrel, and activate the button. This is going to be really hard, and requires you to be REALLY fast (or you can come back later after you get Eye of the Storm). You need to run up the wall of the stair step and hop over the railing (so you don't need to go around). As you are going up the stairs, hug the left wall, and use wall run -- this makes you run faster. When you reach the top, run for the little rat hole quick as you can, and roll -- hope you make it in. You can do it, I did it. Another method of making it, is by using roll ALL the way. Activate the button then jump over the railing of the step. Soon as you land, start rolling up the steps and don't stop jamming on the roll button until you are through the rat hole! <<- Benjamin H>> Trap 1 - [Bar Smasher, Rotating Blade, Floor spikes] When the bar is retracting, wall run on the right. Trap 2 - [2x Bar smasher, rotating blade, floor spike] When the bars are retracting, roll under the blade, and run. Trap 3 - [Bar Smasher, 2x rotating blade, floor spike] When bars are retracting, wall run past the blade, then jump across to get on top of the bar smasher. As it retracts, jump and land into the corner safe from the last rotating blade. Roll through the last blade, and get your health. Retrace your step. You can run across the spikes on the floor. Wall run up and activate the button. Roll through the rat hole. Go down the stairway, run toward where the poles are, then drop down. Move on through to the next room where the moving rotating vertical spikes are. Avoid the first set of spike by walking around them. Roll under the second spike. Move around the third set, and you should be at a fountain. Move through and then go up the stairs toward the fortress. (I didn't kill them again, and just ran through). Up the stairs, and you should see [spinning blade], roll under it and jump across to the ledge. Jump up on the ledges until you are hanging off the very top one and shimmy across. Drop down until you are standing on the bottom ledge, and jump across. Avoid the [spinning blades] and keep moving. You should now be in the [Central Hall]. You'd come to know the [Central Hall] like the back of your hands. Kill the enemies if you like, I didn't. From where you came into the [Central Hall], climb up on the ledges on your left until you reach the top. You should now face a bunch of columns. Jump across poles until you reach the opposite side platforms. On the platform, wall-run up one level, and you should be on the same level as the balcony with a red curtain. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, then jump across to the balcony. Go through and you should see [rotating spike column] then a chasm, then another [rotating spike column] then another chasm. Once you cross all that, you'd come to a ladder. You should now be at a huge chasm, with two rotating spike columns. Wall-run across when you get the timing down. You should be at another ladder, with three criss-crossing spike columns. Go down when you get the timing down (it looks harder than it is). At the bottom of the ladder (don't drop down), jump across to the ledge, shimmy around and jump onto the ladder then go all the way down. Spike floor, then fountain. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 6 - Southern Passage - Past (File 02/21) Save Title: [Chasing the Girl in Black] Goal: [Chase the Girl in Black (Past)] Spiked floor with rotating spike column -- go when you feel you got the timing down. If you mess up, drink from the fountain, don't waste your Sand Tanks. You should come up to another set of rotating spike columns. Move around them, easy enough. Cut scene, Shahdee winks. Kill the enemies if you feel like it. Now, from the entrance, as you look down the room, there should be columns on your left and right. On the right, there should be a column with a step on it and a [bar] above. Use the bar, swing up and get up on the next set. Now, turn about until you can shimmy across and be able to swing up to the platform on the north (a enemy stands on there too). Once on platform, move across the [beam] to the next platform. Turn about and jump up on the [bar] and swing up to the next [bar]. At this bar, you'd need to swing up toward the wall and wall jump off to hang off the beam. Jump off the beam toward the room (platform) with a gate on it. Kill the one ninja girl, and go to the gate facing out as if you just walked into the room. You should see sun beam, with [wood lattice walkway]. Go hang off the platform, on the far end toward the lattice walkway and jump onto it. Move across the walkway and get onto the platform on the far end. Jump onto the platform, and kill the shadow and the guard. Now, you should see a big red curtain. Hang off the platform, and jump onto the curtain. About 3/4 way down, jump off the curtain onto another platform. Move across the beam, jump up when the ninja girl comes, then slash her. Move onto the platform, then jump up on the beam. Jump toward the next beam, wall jump off to the next beam up, then jump into the platform. From this platform, you should see another wood walkway lattice. Jump onto it, move across, kill the girl that challenges you. Jump up and trigger the [bar] switch. Now, jump onto the red curtain. Go through the gate now. Go down the steps, and hang off the ledge. Use the curtain, then jump off onto the beam. From beam, jump to next beam. Jump across to next beam. Jump to next beam. Jump onto the walkway, and run to avoid the spike trap. You lose. So kill Shahdee. Same tactic as before will work just fine. Very easy. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 8 - Sacrificial Altar - Past (File 03/21) Save Title: [???] Goal: [Reach the Hourglass Chamber (Past)] Your [Second Life Upgrade]! Go up the steps to what looks like a big throne with blood all over. Pull the throne to reveal a hidden doorway in the back. First trap - Spiked floor with two rotating spike columns. Timing -- stay in the middle of the path, and predict where the columns will go toward the end of your trip. Then, avoid. Second trap - Spiked floor with rotating spike column and rotating blade. Start running when the column is hitting the bottom. As soon as you pass the column, start running on the wall, this should get you through the rotating blade. Third trap - Wall blade, spiked floor, and rotating blade. Start running across the wall when the blade is going down just above your height. When you land, try to roll to avoid the blade. Fourth trap - Spiked floor, moving rotating spiked columns. Run toward the spike column as it moves toward you. Roll under and keep running. As you exit the life upgrade area and back to where you fought Shahdee. Look to your left, and you should see rock steps that you can climb on. Get on, and jump across to a ledge. Shimmy to your right, and then jump on the [bar]. Swing up to the next ledge and then jump across moving left. Shimmy around, and jump on another [bar] going left still. Swing up, wall jump up to the [bar] above. Turn around, and swing up on platform. Run up the wall, and get on the rope. Swing across and land on the [beam]. Hang off, and drop down to a small beam below. Jump across and shimmy over to the right. Now, jump across to the column to the north with a ledge. Shimmy around, then ump across to the [bar]. Swing up and land on another beam. Jump up onto the wall to get up twice. Shimmy around to get on a platform. Get on top of the rock, and wall run up to the rope. Climb up the rope then jump across to the [bar trigger] that'd close the wall together. Swing back over to the rope, then get OFF the rope. Get down from the rock step, then wall run across to next platform. Run up wall and grab rope. Swing over, and land on platform. Go through the doorway, and kill em if you like (I didn't). To the right of the doorway, are ledges you can wall run up and grab a hold onto. Jump up twice, and you should see a [bar]. Swing up on the bars, until you reach room above with spike trap on floor. Run up the wall to the ledge, then keep going up until you can see two bars. Jump onto the [bar], then swing up and jump off wall to get onto the [bar] above. Then swing up onto the NORTH wall (not toward the entrance from whence you came) and you should grab onto a ledge. Shimmy around to the left. Pull up and jump across when the spinning spike column is on the far end. In the next part, wall run THE RIGHTSIDE wall, when the blade is on the top to grab rope. Jump across to the other rope then swing across when time is right. You can stop swinging on the rope and RESWING at anytime to get new timing. The next set of traps, spinning columns, should be easy. In the Time Portal room, wall run up to activate the buttons. The order is randomly generated. Now go into the present, and you'd have [Eye of the Storm]. This makes everything easier! %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 10 - Southern Passage - Present (File 03/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 15:38)) Save Title: [Fate's Dark Hand] Goal: [Reach the Hourglass Chamber (Past)] Go back from where you came. Avoid the traps, should be easy. Go down, and be careful not to kill yourself dropping too far. Push on button, slow time down, go on through and watch a cut scene of the Dahaka looking for you. From where you stand, wall run across (on the wall where the portcullis is, should be behind you) to reach a beam. Jump across to next beam. Shimmy to the end ,then turn to look at the wall. Should see a rope. Jump across, swing the rope and you'd be on the [bar]. Swing over to the next bar, then to the platform. On the platform, walk out onto the little protruding plank, then jump out onto the [iron beam]. Walk out to the end of the beam, then jump across to the column to hang on the ledge. Shimmy around the ledge, and jump across to go down the curtain. At the end of the curtain, jump off to land on a [beam]. Walk to the end of the beam, and jump off onto a [bar]. Shimmy around, and you should see a platform that might seem too far away. Swing and jump onto it anyway. From the platform, jump down again to the final bottom platform and if you want, kill the enemies. At the far end of the platform, there should be a crumbling wall. To the right of the wall, should be a ledge. Get up on the ledge, then you'd need to do wall-to-wall jumps to go up between the column and the wall. At the very top on the column, shimmy around the ledge, and you should see a [bar]. Jump off onto the bar, then jump onto the broken wall and into the hallway. Make sure you save, then walk down the hallway to start your first of many Dahaka chases. These are very exciting, and I'm sure you'd come to love them as much as me. When you regain control, run straight then turn left. Wall run across the gap. On the far end of the platform, jump onto the bar on the right, make sure you jump OFF the bar IMMEDIATELY, don't be swinging around. Swing across all 3 bars. You'd find yourself in a room. Dahaka is not chasing you anymore, don't worry. Go on through, and you'd find yourself outside. Jump down onto a platform. Wall run across toward the pole and jump onto it. Jump across to the next platform and go through. In the next room, you might remember it. Don't go down the curtain, instead run the opposite direction, and jump off to the lower platform below. Then, wall run across to the ledge. Drop to hanging and shimmy around to the next room. Soon as you land, the Dahaka will chase you again. Run. Wall run. And you'd be safe. Go through the Time Portal. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 11 - Fortress Entrance - Past (File 03/21) Save Title: [A Helping Hand] Goal: [Reach the Hourglass Chamber (Past)] Go back from where you came. Avoid the traps. Very simple. You'd see a cut scene with a sand wraith. Climb up on the pole and jump across to the ledge on a column. Jump up and shimmy across onto the platform with a broken box (you do remember this room, right?) Jump over onto the ledge above the entrance, shimmy around, and jump across to the next platform. Run around, wall run to hit the button, and use the curtain to get down. Go out the door, past the courtyard, past the traps, past the fountain, up the long stairs into the fortress. Go past the rotating blade trap, across the chasm, up the ledges, shimmy across, down the ledges, across the chasm, past the twin rotating blade. We are now back at the [Central Hall]. Kill the enemies, or skip them. Make your way across the hall, and to the opposite end with a fountain. First Trap - Two rotating spike columns, one rotating blade. Just be careful. Second Trap - Two rotating spike column. Wall run across when they are both pulling apart. Third Trap - Rotating blade. Roll under it. Fourth Trap - Long chasm, 2 rotating spike columns. Observe the one spike column, it should make its way horizontally. Wall run across the LEFT WALL when it's going away from you. Jump across the chasm as your wall run session approaches the end, and you should be hanging off the ledge. Wait until the spinning spike column is away from you, before pulling up and jumping up to the ledge above. Wait until the spinning spike column is coming towards you and passes you before dropping down and shimmy across to the other end. Slow time if you need it. Fifth Trap - Bunch of rotating blade. Just be careful and roll under. Go up on the ladder at the end, and jump across to raise the gate. Run and roll under to get through. Cut Scene. ******************************************************************************* [Part 3: Activating the Water Tower] ******************************************************************************* Segment 1 - Hourglass Chamber - Past (File 04/21) Save Title: [The key and the Lock] Goal: [Gain Access to the Towers (Past)] Get up on the switch that'd open the gate back where you came from. Trap 1 - Avoid the rotating blades. Trap 2 - Get up on the ledge on the left. When the rotating spike column is going away from you, follow it quick as you can. As it is coming back, pull up and then keep going. Drop down to the bottom ledge, then shimmy around corner. Jump across and pull up to reach the topmost ledge. Go around, then jump down onto the hallway. Keep going. Trap 3 - Rotating blade and rotating spike columns. Move through them as before. Trap 4 - Rotating blade and rotating spike columns. Be careful. Back at the [Central Hall], jump across and you should activate the lever with your sword. Turn it twice to change the room where one of the gap is closed completely. We're going after the [Third Life Upgrade] first. Run toward the exit (the one without the water fountain), and on the right side, you should see a little depression. Go down and hang off of the depression. Jump across and you'd start a wall-to-wall jump that'd slowly descend you. At the bottom, jump down to the platform below. Here is a tough part, you are going to wall run toward the direction of the exit, and BEFORE you reach the end (if you reach it, you'd jump backward, causing you to die), you need to jump across and start wall-to-wall jump upward. A cue to start jumping is when the Prince seems to hit a bump on the wall. In the next part, you'd be doing the same again. Wall run across, and start wall-to-wall jump before you reach the end. This will descend you. Go through the doorway. Don't die, else you'd have to do it ALL OVER. Trap 1 - [4 rotating spiked column with floor spike] Start running when the one column going up and down is reaching the bottom. Trap 2 - [Rotating blade, three rotating spiked columns] This one is very exciting. As the one spike cclumn is going away from you, roll, and wall run across. Soon as you cross the one spiked column, just let go of all buttons and drop down. Hope you don't get hit! On your way back, there're spiked floor, but you can run through them, no problem. As you reach back at the [Central Hall], go left, and jump across the chasm. Then wall-to-wall jump back up to where you were. We will do the [Water Tower] first. To do the water tower, first turn the lever so it's pointed at 3 o'clock (if 12 o'clock is pointing at the fountain). Go to where the fountain is (you might want to save). %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 2 - Central Hall - Past (File 04/21) Save Title: [The Towers] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] Jump back across and get up on the second ledge to your left. Go around, and then do wall run on the LEFT WALL. Jump across and you'd be on a ledge. Shimmy around, jump up, jump across, jump up, shimmy over, jump across, jump up, and you'd be at the entrance to the [Water Tower]. Roll under the trap, and when you hit the button, immediately [Slow Time] and run fast as you can across the timed floor. In the next section, wall run up and jump onto bar overhead. Swing across and activate the switch. Soon as you hit the switch, activate [Slow Time] and run across the timed floor again. You'd be at a fountain now. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 3 - Garden Hall - Past (File 04/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 15:58)) Save Title: [The Water Maiden] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] As you come into the "hanging garden" the Prince will make a comment. Enemies will start to attack you, but I ignored them and jumped on the ladder to the left from the entrance way. You'd have to run up the wall and jump back to get a hold of the ladder though. On the top of the ladder, RavenMan awaits you. Ignore him and go up the next set of ladders. At this platform, go to the end of the wall with the rope. Wall run, then jump across to the platform. On this platform, wall run toward the huge statue next to red curtain, jump across at the end to get a hold of the bar. Swing up and into the next room over. Jump across to the ledge, and let yourself all the way down. At the very bottom, go to the other end of the room, and pull yourself all the way to the top again. You'd come to a fountain. In the next room, the game will show you the scenery of the place. This is where you'd find your [Fourth Life Upgrade]! Yay. Pull on the lever to open the door. You can fight them all, or ignore them. Soon as you run past the first guard, and go up into a garden like area with tree, run to your left and into the corner. You should see an opening on the fence. Drop down there and you'd see a ledge below you. Drop down there and shimmy around and drop down until you reach platform. Wall run across. In the next room, just lower yourself by jumping across from ledge to ledge. It's not hard. Once you are at the bottom, jump to the [bar] and swing over to the opposite end of the room. Go to the left side of the room, and go down on the ledge again until you reach another floor down. Trap 1 - [Horizontal Blade, Floor Spikes] - Run across, and roll when you know the blades are coming. Trap 2 - [Horizontal rotating spike column, rotating blade, and floor spike] - Run across when the spike column is coming, roll under. Then roll under the blade. Trap 3 - [Spike columns, floor spikes, horizontal blade] - Run past the spike columns, and then roll under the horizontal blades. Trap 4 - [Rotating blade, floor spikes, rotating spike column] - Roll past the blade, and roll under the column as it comes toward you. Congratulations on the [Fourth Life Upgrade]. Go back the way you came. Jump up on ledge, jump up, jump up, jump across, shimmy, jump up, etc, jump on [bar] swing across, jump up, shimmy, jump up, etc. When you are outside again, wall run back across, wall run up onto the ledge. Pull up, jump up, shimmy around, pull up, pull up. You'd be facing enemies again. I didn't bother killing them still. They take too long. Anyway, in one of the column in the middle of the garden area, there is a switch that you need to wall-run and hang to. As it lowers, a small rock platform will rise up to your left (you are facing the wall as you are hanging on the switch). [Slow Time] and run up the platform, then wall-run up to the ledge. Jump across to beam. Walk on the beam, and then jump across to another beam. Walk on the beam until you reach the ledge of the column, and shimmy around. Jump across to a bar. Swing over to the next column, and shimmy around. Walk on the beam until you get to the column, then to the protruding plank. Get on the plank, and jump over to bar. Swing up on bar to a tree branch. Walk on branch until the end then jump toward the wall onto a waiting rope. As you swing on the rope, you'd going out toward the sun and outside, not toward the corner of the building. You should see the bar at the end, that's your target. On the bar, swing up and across to ledge. Shimmy around, and jump onto plank/beam of platform. Get on platform and fight the RavenMan. Now, the column at the corner have ledges. Get on them, and jump up. Shimmy around, and get on to the top of the platform. From the platform, look around, and you should see RavenMan waiting for you across the platform. Jump across to the platform, and kill him. Wall run and then jump back to the hanging switch. It'd lower the bridge. Go back and cross the bridge. Grab the box and push it onto the switch. Jump down and run across the pull on the lever. Now we have the water flowing to the hanging garden. Jump down onto the water channel, drink water for health if you need it. Jump up on the ledge and shimmy around. Drop down on the platform, and cross the beam. In the middle of the beam is a protruding plank. Go on it and jump across to the rope. Drop down on the rope, and turn the lever. Go through and you'd find a fountain waiting for you. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 4 - Garden - Past (File 04/21) Save Title: [Water and Gardens] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] Drop down, go across room, climb up. When you exit, drop down and shimmy around. Drop down and get to the bottom with the curtain, it's much faster. Now, it's time to activate the water system. There are a total of four levers. From the entrance coming from the Central Hall, I will label the levers as Far Right, Far Left, Right, and Left. So, when you drop down from the curtain, the first lever that you see would be "Far Right." First, turn the "Right" lever twice (180 degrees) so the water will go across to the "Far Right" lever. Then, twist the "Far Right" lever twice, and you'd see a cut scene. Turn the "Left" lever twice so the water will go across to the "Far Left" lever. Then twist the "Far Left" lever once, and you'd see another cut scene. The central door will open now. Go through the central door (it's the door in the middle of the three prongs, directly across from the exit to [Central Hall]). Down the hallway, you'd see ledges on your right. Jump up, and shimmy across. Jump up, jump across, jump up, jump up, jump up, jump across and you'd be at a Time Portal. Activation sequence is randomly generated. Now, this is where the Water Garden becomes exciting. Oh, you get the [Breath of Fate] here, but I never use it, [Eye of Storm] is all I need. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 5 - Garden Hall - Present (File 04/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 16:16)) Save Title: [Water and Gardens] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] Exit the Time Portal room, and follow the road. Drop down but be careful looking for the ledges. Shimmy across and down until you reach the walkway. As you exit back out to the center statue surrounded by four levers, there should be a rock platform to your left right before you reach the statue. Get on the rock, wall run up, and jump across to the wooden ledge. Jump across the beam toward the statue. Jump across again, even though the next beam is very well camouflaged. You'd now go around a circular beam covered with vegetations. When you reach the end, jump across onto the platform. On the platform, you should see on the left what seems like ledges. Shimmy across, and jump up until you reach the top, and shimmy around the corner. There'd be a bunch of enemy here that'd want to fight, you can if you want. When ready, get to the wall, and wall run across, there'd be a "tree branch" waiting to catch you at the end. Walk toward the end of the tree branch and jump toward the wall that has nasty bricks and vegetations. Shimmy to the right, and drop down to the tree branch below you. Walk to the end of the tree branch, then drop down onto the support beam. March forward, and jump up on the ledges. On the ledge, you'd see a tree branch up above you, jump up on it, and walk across to the next room over. In this room, you'd jump across to the ledge, and shimmy around the second ledge. Drop down until the very last ledge, then leap across onto the tree branch. Walk around the tree branch until you reach the end, then jump across onto the ledge formed on the tree. Shimmy around the tree trunk, then drop off onto the branch. Walk around on the branch until the end, then jump across toward the ledges on the wall. Jump up and shimmy across until you reach the top and find yourself the fountain. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 6 - Garden - Present (File 05/21) Save Title: [Water and Gardens] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] Soon as you move into the next room, you'd be shown with the insanity that you'd have to navigate through. Ninja will drop from top and you'd have to fight. Or you can just skip them, and drop down from the ledge directly in front of you. Drop down to the second level and shimmy to the right. Drop down next to where the tiny water fall is landing. Go into hanging mode and shimmy around the corner then jump to the opposite side. Climb up and on the platform, go around to the northwest side and run up the wall and climb up two ledges until you are hanging from the top then shimmy around the corners again. When you can, climb up twice and you'd be looking at what seems to be a broken bridge that leads to nowhere. You'd need to wall-run from the broken bridge and jump across to the far end. Hanging off the ledge now, shimmy toward the wall and get up on the platform. Explore the platform if you like, or just jump up on the ledge that's right next to you on the left. Jump up twice and you'd be standing on ledge with a pole to the opposite of you. Jump off the pole onto a tree branch [beam] then jump to your right to another branch [bar]. Swing off and you'd be hanging off a broken wall. Get up on top of the wall and walk toward where the dock is (it's where the camera is facing anyway). Jump off and hang off the ledge directly in front of you. Shimmy around until you can land on a small platform below you with a plank sticking out. Walk out onto the plank and jump across onto a swinging [bar]. Swing up onto the next platform. On this platform, look left and you'd see a bar. Jump forward onto the [bar] and swing off to the platform with waiting enemies. The pole is really useful for dispatching the enemies, just swing on it a few times and they'd all die. Keep going forward to the wall and face out toward the sea. You should see a shiny tree [pole] and some far off building. You'd be wall running on the RIGHT WALL, but do not jump, just keep running and eventually you'd be hanging off a ledge. Climb up and you'd be at the fountain. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 7 - Garden - Present (File 05/21) Save Title: [Water and Gardens] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] Facing the fountain, turn right and run up the wall. Get on top of the wall, and walk to the end. Go into first person perspective and turn about until you see the pole you're going to be jumping onto. Jump onto the pole. Jump left onto another pole. Jump left onto another pole. Jump left onto another pole. Jump toward the "dock" onto a beam. From the beam, walk forward, then turn left and go behind the block. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL until you hang off a ledge. Shimmy across the ledge and get up. You'd find yourself at the destination shown in the beginning of the cut scene. You're now faced with a huge chasm and two smashing bars. I'm not crazy, you'd have to jump on the bars across the chasm. Slow time down if you need it. Basically, jump forward when the bars are coming out and jump quick as you can. You'd be awarded with a fountain. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 8 - Garden - Present (File 05/21) Save Title: [Water and Gardens] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] Walk to your left and into an open area with 2 smashing bars. Once again, you'd be jumping on them. Jump onto the first bar, then jump onto the second bar. Wall run on the LEFT WALL and you'd grab hold onto a rope. Use rope then wall run across and then jump off onto the [pole]. Now time your jump to jump over the [spiked column] onto another [pole]. Jump off and go into the room. Kill the RavenMan and the invisible Ninja girl, then walk out the room onto a plank. Jump off the plank onto a [pole]. Jump off the pole onto a small [platform]. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL and hang off ledge of the next [platform]. Climb on top of the platform, and jump off onto [pole]. Jump off [pole] into room. If you keep jumping into the abyss, go into the first person view and adjust first before you jump. Go through the room and get up on a ledges into the next room. You'd see a cut scene with the Prince saying, "Right place, wrong time." %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 9 - Garden Waterworks - Present (File 05/21) Save Title: [???] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] From the small platform you're standing on, wall-run on RIGHT WALL then jump off onto [pole]. Jump off onto a really shiny white [pole] then look to your right to see a [bar]. Jump onto the [bar] (you will have to lower yourself a bit to be in position before you jump). Shimmy out onto the end of the bar, go into first person perspective to see the [pole] you are jumping onto next. Swing and grab onto the pole. Now keep going in that direction and you'd see a broken wall / [beam] that you'd be jumping onto next. Once on the beam, walk onto the small platform with a [bar] in front of you. Jump into the [bar] and swing over to the next platform with the RavenMan waiting. It's time for another Dahaka run! Exciting! The Dahaka will smash you into another platform. From the platform, wall run on the RIGHT WALL onto a waiting ladder. Climb down the ladder, and jump across to waiting [bar]. Jump off the [bar] immediately onto another [bar] then onto a [platform]. Run toward the wall on the platform, then turn right to keep running. Now, wall run on the LEFT WALL and you'd see the Dahaka jumping across to follow you. In the corridor, wall run on the LEFT WALL. Then at the corner, wall run on the LEFT WALL again. You'd now drop a bit of a distance, and land on a platform. Get out of the doorway and you'd be outside. Wall run on the LEFT WALL, onto a [ladder] and go down the [ladder]. On the this platform, wall run on the RIGHT WALL until you fall off onto a platform. Run into the doorway, and the music will change. Smash the barrel in your way, and run quick as you can. Wall run up onto the ledge and pull yourself up quick as you can. Now turn the corner, and wall run on the LEFT WALL. You'd be hanging off ledge. Shimmy to the right and get up onto the platform. Run forward, break barrel, and keep running. You'd turn corner toward the left, then turn toward the right out into an outside area again. Turn left in the outside area, and you'd be facing a wall with slashes. Run toward that wall and turn left. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL. You'd catch onto a rope. Keep running off the rope and onto a platform. The Dahaka will show up now behind you all pissed off. Keep running forward and you'd see a ladder in front of you. Jump onto the ladder, and climb down. You can just drop off from this ladder at the bottom. Run forward through some twist and turns, and you'd be at a Time Portal. Activation sequence is randomly generated. Go through the Time Portal, and you'd gain a [NEW SAND TANK]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 10 - Garden Hall - Past (File 05/21) Save Title: [Water and Gardens] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] Get out of the Time Portal, and go through a couple turns. Kill the enemies. Get up on the [ladder] then jump off to another [ladder]. On the platform, you should see RavenMan waiting for you. Kill him, or go past. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL, onto rope, and them off onto platform. Cut scene will show you where to go. After landing from the rope, run to the right. Turn to the right again, and you'd see two [bars], with enemies waiting at the far end. Jump over the railing and from hanging position, jump onto the [bar]. Swing over to the next [bar] then over to the [platform]. Run into the corridor on the left, and you'd see a [ladder]. Get on the [ladder] then jump across to the [switch]. Open the [gate] run through. At the end, you'd see a couple enemies waiting (best to kill them or throw them off into the abyss). Now, out on the platform, face to the left. Wall run on the LEFT WALL onto ledges. Climb up on the ledge twice and then shimmy onto platform. Get on the ladder and climb up. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL back toward the entrance. Time your run so you won't get sliced through. Go into the corridor. You'd now wall run on the RIGHT WALL pass two wall blades, and jump across the chasm at the end of wall run. You'd be rewarded with a fountain when you make it across. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 11 - Garden Waterworks - Past (File 05/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 16:37)) Save Title: [Water and Gardens] Goal: [Activate the Towers (Past)] Wall run up and go into the big open area. The gate will close behind you. Cut scene ensues. Cut scene will show you a big switch near the top. Kill the enemy, or ignore them. Run forward into the center of the room and you should be at a lever. Turn the lever and you'd see blocks move. Use the landscape view and the initial position of the lever will be pointed to 3 o'clock. The cut scene lever is at 12 o'clock. Turn the lever until it's at the 9 o'clock position. The top left block should be turned so it's pointing in the 9 o'clock position too. Go to the top left block and you should see that it has a little stepping stone right before it. Get on the stepping stone, then wall run up onto the top of the block. Walk off the block onto a plank, then jump toward the [pole]. Shimmy upward and turn right to see a [ledge] to the north. Jump off onto the ledge then shimmy around the corner toward left. Get off the ledge, and wall run on the Prince's RIGHT WALL (your left) and grab hold onto a [rope]. Keep going and run off the rope and you'd find yourself at a lever. Initial position of the lever is 9 o'clock. Turn it to 6 o'clock with the long extension of the block facing out toward a platform to the 6 o'clock. Walk onto the [plank] then jump across to the [plank] of the [block]. Now walk on the [long extension plank] and jump onto the next platform. Once landed, walk forward, then turn left and run across the platform. At the end, you'd see a plank on your left. Walk on the plank, and jump across to [block]. On the [block] turn right and jump across to another [lever]. The lever is at 6 o'clock position initially, turn it until it's at the 12 o'clock position with both block's long extension pointing at 12 o'clock position. Walk toward 12 o'clock, and wall run on your RIGHT WALL onto a [rope] Keep going and run off the rope onto a corner area with ledge. Jump up on the ledge and shimmy around the corner to the end. Jump off the ledge onto the [pole]. Turn right and jump off the pole onto the [block]. Walk on the long [plank] and jump onto the platform to 12 o'clock. Jump down into the small depression and roll under the gate. Turn the [lever] and water will start flowing out. Drink the water if you need it and go on the platform on the north, we're going after the [Fifth Life Upgrade] from here. Jump up from the platform onto ledge above, and jump up again to see door way with railing. Go in. Trap 1 - [Spiked floor, rotating spike column] - Time your run. Start running when spiked column is coming down. Roll if you need to. Trap 2 - [Spiked floor, 3 rotating spike columns] - Again, time your run. Start running when the first column is half way going up. Easy enough. Retrace your steps after getting [Fifth Life Upgrade] and back to the [lever]. Roll under the gate, and then back out into the open area. Jump across to the block where you came from. Onto the [pole] and back on the [ledge]. Shimmy around the corner, and drop down. Wall run on the LEFT WALL (Prince perspective) and onto the [rope]. Run off the [rope] and onto the [lever] platform. Turn the [lever] until it's back to the 6 o'clock position. If you notice, the water from the block will now cascade into a sewer system. Jump off the lever platform via the [plank] to the [block] then jump from the [long plank] onto the sky bridge. Turn right and run to the end and then jump back on the [block]. Turn left and jump from the [plank] onto the [lever] platform. Make sure the [lever] is at 6 o'clock position. Wall run on the LEFT WALL, grab onto the [rope] and run off to the corner. Jump up onto the [ledge] on the wall and shimmy around until the end. Jump off onto the [pole]. Turn left, and shimmy down a bit to jump off onto [block]. Climb down the block easy. Now, go to the central [lever] and turn it to 3 o'clock position. You'd now see a cut scene when all the levers are in the correct position. Exit the room from where you first came in, [gate] at around 2 o'clock position of the room. Jump down to use the fountain. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 12 - Garden Waterworks - Past (File 05/21) Save Title: [The Second Tower] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Climb back up the platform so you can wall-run on the LEFT WALL into the corner. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL again, pass the blades. Go outside, and you'd be attacked by 2 invisible ninja girls, and 2 guards. Throwing them off is the best way to go. When you are ready, wall-run on the LEFT WALL past the blades. On the platform, go down the [ladder]. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL (Prince perspective). You'd drop down and hang on the ledge. Get up on the platform, and get into the corridor. Climb up the [ladder] jump across to activate [switch]. Run through the [gate] and go through some twist and turns to get back on the balcony with 2 enemies. Leap over railing and hang off then jump over to the [bar]. Jump again to another [bar] and again to the platform. Cut scene will show what you need to do. Turn left and run to the end of the platform. Turn left and you'd see a wall with [rope]. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, grab onto the [rope] then run off the rope. Run up the wall to activate the button. Go back to where you came by wall-run on the RIGHT WALL (Prince Perspective) back onto the [rope] then run off the [rope] onto the platform. Now climb on the protruding block, and then wall-run up then jump before reaching apex to grab onto a [bar]. Shimmy on the [bar] toward the north where a ledge is. Swing off the [bar] onto the [ledge]. Shimmy on the ledge around the corner, and then climb down from the ledge. Wall-run up the wall and jump off the wall to get on the [hanging switch]. Get off the switch (not sure if the switch did anything, but better safe than sorry), then wall run up to climb up on the ledge to the right. Shimmy around the corner then Jump across to the opposite ledge. Shimmy around the corners, and climb down. Go into the hole with the [ladder] and climb down. On the platform, go left and jump across to climb down the [ladder] to where the RavenMan is. You'd find another set of [ladder] going down. Climb down, then go through the corridor on the left of the [ladder] back toward [Central Hall]. There is a Fountain to the right, save if you like. Jump down, run to the end, jump up on the ledge, jump up on platform. Jump down on the next section, run to the end, jump up on the ledge, jump up on the platform with a button. Avoid the 2x rotating blades, dispatch the enemies, and go back out into the [Central Hall]. Cut scene and new weapon [Lion Sword]! Go to the lever, and turn it until it's facing the 9 o'clock position (with the Fountain) as the 12 o'clock position. Go save, and prepare for the [Mechanical Tower]. ******************************************************************************* [Part 4: Activating the Mechanical Tower] ******************************************************************************* Segment 1 - Central Hall - Past (File 06/21) Save Title: [The Second Tower] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] From the fountain, look on the other side of the entrance and you should see a weapon's rack. Destroy that. [Wall run] on the RIGHT WALL from there, and jump across to reach the platform. On the platform, wall run on the RIGHT WALL and you'd find yourself hanging on a ledge at the end. Jump up, shimmy, jump up, jump up. Now, jump across the chasm to reach platform. Wall run up, and get up on the top of the platform. Look to your left, jump across, and voila! Jump on the switch, [Slow Time] and run through the [gate]. At the next hallway, jump across the chasm then run to the end and do wall-to-wall jumps. At the top, pass the trap blades and go up the [ladder]. At the top of the ladder, shimmy off the ladder and around the ledge until you are opposite of the platform. Jump across. Avoid the thrusting bars and reach the fountain. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 2 - Mechanical Tower - Past (File 06/21) Save Title: [The Second Tower] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Head downstairs and get past the guards heading straight against the wall to your right. Keep going out and you'd be hugging the ledge on the right wall. Shimmy out then climb down to the ledge below. Hang from the ledge, then shimmy to the left then drop down twice until you can hang and shimmy to the right toward a platform landing area. Test out your new weapon on all the guards here. It's unfortunate, but you have to kill like 10 of them until a [Iron Giant] comes running out. Avoid his initial smash by rolling to the side, then roll in between his legs and hack at his calf. He'd fall down soon. Climb onto his back by jumping onto him, and smack his head with [Slow Time] on. He'd die quick. Go through the gate that the [Iron Giant] came out of. In the room, turn left and you should see button on wall next to some waterfalls. Activate the button by wall-run up. A [block] will come out of the wall to your right. Run up the [block] then run up the wall to hang on a wooden ledge. Climb up on the ledge then jump to climb up on the platform where a [fountain] awaits. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 3 - Mechanical Tower - Past (File 06/21) Save Title: [Clockworks and Gears] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Facing the [fountain] turn to behind you, and you'd see a crazy gear spinning like mad. Don't worry, you won't die from it (I haven't anyway), just jump through when you can, [Slow Time] if you need it, and you'd see a cut scene. Kill the enemies then pretend you just came from the [fountain]. Straight ahead, you should see some [poles] that goes up and down. Jump on the closest one, then jump over to the next [pole] on the right, jump again to the right [pole] then you'd jump again to the right [pole]! You should now be looking at a top view of the prince with the [pole] going up and down on your left and a [beam] to your top right. Jump on the [beam], then jump right onto the platform with the [button]. Wall-run up to activate the button, then wall-run on the RIGHT WALL toward the [beam/sign] that moved away from you as soon as you activate the [button]. You should hang on the ledge of the [beam/sign] now. Shimmy around the [sign] until you are at the other side. Get up on the ledge of the [sign] and jump onto the [bar]. Swing off the [bar] onto a corner platform with a [lever]. Turning the [lever] will turn the [bar]. You can only turn it once, so no mistake here. Jump back on the [bar] and wait until the moving [bar] comes down to where you'd be able to swing onto. Swing onto the moving [bar] and wait till it's all the way to the top before swinging off to the platform above. You'd be facing three exploding dogs. I recommend slashing them three times and jump backward immediately to avoid the explosion. Or even slashing twice then avoid them while they blow themselves up. When done, jump up on the [hanging switch] that'd elevate a platform. Run forward and jump onto the new [platform]. Three more exploding dogs will attacking you. After dispatching them, turn left to see a circular looking room and a [beam] that you can jump off of toward the circular room. Get on the [beam] and jump to a [plank] sticking out of the room towards you. Walk toward the room, then shimmy around to the right and jump up on the ledge. Then climb on ledge, and jump up again. Shimmy back toward the left around the corners until you reach the end. Fall down to catch onto the platform below you and climb up to kill the one enemy guarding the room. There is a [ladder] in the opposite end of the room, climb up on it and go all the way to the top. Shimmy off the [ladder] and onto the wall surrounding the room and then climb on top to walk to the other end. You won't be using the [plank] extension yet, so ignore it and walk to the VERY end. Here, you'd jump to the [ledge] on the wall, next to a curtain looking thing with pole sticking out of it. Shimmy to the left, climb down to shimmy under the curtain, and climb up to jump to the [bar]. From the bar, shimmy to the right and around the corner until you are facing the rotating wall. Jump onto the rotating wall and you'd land on the [ledge]. Jump off onto the platform with the [lever]. Turn the [lever] until some kind of big [corkscrew] is turning. You want it to be turning clockwise! When ready, from the platform, jump to the [bar]. When the [corkscrew] looks ready, jump onto it, and you'd be hanging off a ledge from the spinning [corkscrew]. You'd turn with the [corkscrew] and when presented with the opportunity to jump onto the next [bar], do it immediately! Jump off of the [bar] onto the platform with [button]. Pushing the button will rotate a big wooden [flap] to your side. However, an evil exploding dog is waiting on the wall. When you are ready in your heart, activate the [button]. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL (Prince perspective), slash the dog in mid-run, jump off the wall, and hang off the [flap] (it sounds harder than it is ^_^). Now, climb up on the [flap] and jump off to the ledge against the wall and shimmy to the left and down onto the platform. Two exploding dogs will be waiting, dispatch them and go into the room to your right. Wall-run up the wall then jump off to activate the [hanging switch]. A platform will raise up. Get down and run out of the room, onto the catwalk then the platform next to the huge spinning evil gear. Jump up on the [beam] to your right, and walk out onto the [plank]. Jump across the spinning gear when ready. You'd land on a [plank]. Now jump to the right (prince perspective) onto the next [plank]. Jump up on the ledge, and climb up. Shimmy to the left and jump up + climb up. Shimmy to the left and enter room with rotating blade. Roll under the blade or run past it, but be careful, a smashing bar is very close to the left of the rotating blade. When the smashing bar is fully extended, jump up on top of the bar, and wall-run on RIGHT WALL, past the twin spinning spike columns. Get past the next bar and you'd be faced with two spinning spiked columns again. Get past them, and run down the steps past two more spinning spike columns. Jump up on the ledge to your left, and jump up against to shimmy around the corner to activate the [button]. Drop down and run through the [gate]. Go down the steps and you'd meet up with a [fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 4 - Mechanical Pit - Past (File 06/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 17:04)) Save Title: [Clockworks and Gears] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Go down another set of steps, and you'd meet up with some tougher enemies. I recommend tossing them off to the abyss. When ready, activate the [button] to the left of the entrance way by wall-run up. You'd see a cut scene, and fail to get on the [block] that came out. Activate [Slow Time] then activate the [button] again. Jump up on the [block] and then wall-run up to the [rope] above. Wall-run off the [rope] and get on to the catwalk above. Here, you'd meet two more enemies, toss them off and keep going straight then to the right. You'd see a cut scene. Run to the end of the catwalk and you'd see a huge spinning gear with axels that you'd have to pass through while wall-running. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL and avoid the axel by going just as it leaves enough room for you. Land on the platform, and toss more enemies off into the abyss. Now, you're facing a faster spinning gear. [Slow Time] if you need it, and wall-run on the LEFT WALL. Jump off at the end of the run to a [pole]. Jump across to the next [pole] on the left, then jump to [pole] on the right, then jump to [pole] on right again. Jump forward into platform with [lever] lit with fire. Turn the [lever] to activate the elevator [platform]. Jump onto the [platform] and look back toward the [lever] platform. At the apex of the elevator [platform] wall-run on RIGHT WALL, and jump off before reaching the end to do wall-to-wall jumps up to the top. You should now be in a big room with a fireplace. Go in and [Iron Giant] will come and challenge you. Don't bother going down the path to the left (the path with artwork chest), but rather turn to the right past a [gate] with exploding dog waiting for you on the wall. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, slash the dog, and grab onto the [rope]. Forgot to mention this earlier, but if you have problems with slashing the dog (you'd have to master this later though), you can pick up a secondary weapon, and throw it at the dog. Wall-run off the rope then jump across to the platform with pool of water. Drink up if you need it. When ready, look at the spinning contraption and notice that there are alternating holes on the bottom of each gate. You'd need to roll through each of the gate and get onto the first walkway to the right that you see. There should be a [hanging switch] that'd open the [gate]. Get back into the waterway with the spinning gates, and keep going forward, rolling under the gates until you reach the next platform with pooled water. Jump up on the [bar] and swing to the next [bar], then swing onto the platform. Toss off the few enemies, and go through the gate. Trap 1 - [Spinning spike column, spiked floor] Run through. Trap 2 - [spiked floor] easy enough. Trap 3 - [Chasm with wall blades] Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL onto [rope]. When time is right, wall-run off the rope and onto the platform. Trap 4 - [Spinning spike column, smashing bar] Avoid the column and run through the smashing bar. Trap 5 - [2x Smashing bar, 2x spinning spike column] Jump up on the column when it's extended, and wall-run on LEFT WALL past the spike column. Avoid the last spinning column and the smashing bar. Trap 6 - [2x spinning spike column] Wall-run on LEFT WALL when the opportunity presents itself. Activate the [Time Portal], randomly generated sequence of buttons and you get another worthless skill, [Ravages of Time]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 5 - Mechanical Pit - Present (File 06/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/13/2004 17:15)) Save Title: [Clockworks and Gears] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Get out of the [Time Portal] and you'd see the traps are still active. Trap 1 - [2x spinning spike column] Wall-run on RIGHT WALL when opportunity comes. Trap 2 - [2x Smashing bar, 2x spike column] Jump up on the smashing bar just as it fully extends itself. Wall-run on LEFT WALL immediately, at end of the run, jump across to land on top of the smashing bar to avoid being smashed. Trap 3 - [2x spike column, smashing bar] Walk past them. Trap 4 - [Chasm, wall blade] Wall-run on LEFT WALL when opportunity comes. Grab onto the [rope] then stop running back and forth on the rope. Jump off the rope to the ledge on your right. Shimmy across, and climb down to shimmy the rest of the way on to the platform. Trap 5 - [Spiked floor, spiked column, spiked floor] - Just run past, easy enough. You'd come back out into a big room with 2 guards waiting. Cut scene ensues, and after, you'd be dispatching them, and 3 exploding dogs to follow. After you're ready, climb into hanging position and fall off to grab onto the curtain. Don't be jumping off, just fall. You'd now wall-run on the LEFT WALL past the spinning axel, and jump across to [pole]. Jump onto the next few [poles] until you reach the end with the platform. Jump onto the elevator [platform]. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL, and before reaching the end, jump across to do wall-to-wall jump up until you reach the big room with bunch of enemies waiting. Kill them all. Soon as you are done, exploding dogs will come until you learn to kill one that'd end up exploding into the corner. I find it easy to [Slow Time] then aim them like a soccer ball toward where I want them to go. Run out through the door that blew up, and wall-run on LEFT WALL onto [rope] then run-off [rope] into platform with pooled water. Run ahead and go through the gate by rolling under. Jump over chasm then roll under gate. The camera angle shows you where you need to go. Jump across the broken bridge, dispatch the guard. Climb down the platform on the right side, and drop down onto ledges until you reach the bottom platform. Dispatch guard again. Jump across the [broken bridge] and kill another guard. Turn to your left, and jump across the waterfall to the platform waiting beyond. Go through the doorway shown in the cut scene earlier. Move through the corridor, avoiding a few simple traps until you get to a [button]. Go through the [gate] after activating the [button] and dispatch all guards and exploding dog within. Climb up on the [ladder] till you reach very top, and you'd see an opening on the spinning contraption that you can jump onto from the [ladder]. Once on top of the rotating platform, wall-run up the left wall onto a ledge and climb up, then jump-up + climb up. You should see a ledge being rotated around the axel, jump on the [ledge]. Once the [ledge] rotates you around to the other side, jump off onto the ledge on the wall and raise yourself to the top level. Now jump back across to the spinning ledge. Jump up, and shimmy around until you can climb up and stand on top of the ledge. Jump up again to reach the ledge above, and shimmy around until you can get up on the platform. Wall-run up the ledge on the right (water cascade down) and get up on that ledge. Jump across to the ledge on the spinning axel. Jump across to the left wall ledge and climb up to the top-most level. As you are hanging off the ledge under the button, jump across to the ledges on the spinning axel, notice that ONE ledge is missing from the 4 side -- so be careful. As you stand on top of the ledge, get ready to jump across to hit the [button], and jump right back to the ledge. The [gate] will now open. [Slow Time] if you can get it very well. Fountain awaits you on the other side. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 6 - Activation Room - Present (File 07/21) Save Title: [Clockworks and Gears] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Get up the step and into the next room. Dispatch the guards, and then exploding dogs will come. Use the dogs to blow open the [cracked wall] to the right. Jump out of the room and onto a broken platform and cut scene starts. "Right place, but the wrong time!" Turn left and jump up on the rock steps and move forward until you are between two close walls. Do wall-to-wall jumps up until the platform above. Here, you'd be attacked by a few guard and ninja girl. From where you jumped up, on the right is a railing. Wall-run up the railing and stand on top of the platform. Jump back across to the [block] that was in the center of the room, then jump across to the ledges on the wall. Climb up to the top and you'd be at a corner platform. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL and get to the next corner platform. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL again, to get to the [ladder]. Climb up and you'd find yourself in a room. Kill what guards are here, and go up the small steps. On the right are piles of rock, on left is a railing. Leap over the railing and drop down one level to the next ledge (cut in the wall). Shimmy around the corner, and jump across to the wooden platform attached to stone platform. Ninja girls will pop out, but you can ignore them and find the [ladder] leading down on the right of where you landed. The ladder is attached on the side of the platform, so you can't see it unless you are hanging off the side of the platform. Go down the [ladder] and you'd see a wooden [beam] and a pendulum swinging back and forth. When time is right, jump across onto the [beam], then across onto the platform. In the room, wall-run on the RIGHT wall past the wall blades. It's best to run when the first blade is going down. You'd catch onto [rope], run off the [rope] then near the end of the run, jump across onto platform's ledge. Raise yourself up and you'd find yourself in a corner again. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL (Prince perspective) and you'd be hanging off ledge. Get down on ledge until you're standing on rock platform with [ladder] attached. Go down the [ladder] and on the next platform, throw everyone off into the abyss. When you are ready, wall-run up the railing on the left and climb up onto the platform. Wall-run up the wall to grab a hold of the ledge, then shimmy around the corner. Jump across to the ledge, and drop down to the ledge below. Shimmy around and drop down onto the platform. Run forward and turn right into the entrance way, and you'd start the Dahaka chase. Wall-run on LEFT WALL. Run forward then turn left. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL, grab onto [rope] and run off [rope]. Turn and you should see curtain of water, run through and you'd be safe. Wall-run up to activate button, then do wall-to-wall jump up to the platform above. Dispatch the enemies here. Run forward, jump across and crazy Dahaka chase begins again. Camera perspective changes, run down, turn left. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, grab onto [rope] run off [rope]. Camera perspective change, run down, turn right. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL, run forward and go into [Time Portal] room. Activate portal via randomly generated button sequence. Go through portal and you gain [New Sand Tank], yay! %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 7 - Activation Room - Past (File 07/21) Save Title: [Clockworks and Gears] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Exit the [Time Portal] room, and you'd be greeted with fully functional traps. Trap 1 - [2x Rotating Spike Column, Chasm] Wall run when the spike is going down. Trap 2 - [2x Rotating blades] Avoid the blade by walking past then rolling into the hole. Then roll under the next blade. Trap 3 - [Chasm, Wall blades] I would again, recommend wall-run on RIGHT WALL when the first blade is going down. Second blade will be somewhat hard, as it's hard to time the swing with the blade. I recommend [Slow Time]. Kill the exploding dog, and roll under the huge cog in the way. Jump across the chasm, and toss the guards into the abyss. Run around the corner, then hang off the platform. Jump across, then do wall-to-wall jump to lower yourself to the bottom. Kill more guards and dog, then wall-run on LEFT WALL catching the [rope] then run off [rope] onto the platform. You can use the [button] here to activate the spike traps that'd kill the guard. Neato! Wall-run on the LEFT WALL toward the clockwork contraptions. Once you reach the huge room, Bomb Giant will be tossing exploding dogs at you. Run to the left first, tossing guard off into the abyss on the way. To your left, you should see a cracked wall. To the front of you, you should see water spouts. Stand near the cracked wall for a bit, until Bomb Giant toss a dog at you to blow open the door. This leads to the [Sixth Life Upgrade]! But first, let's go save. Run across the platform toward the other side where some more guards wait. Toss them into the abyss, and stand near the cracked door. Exploding dog will come soon to blow open the door. Use the [fountain] to save. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 8 - Activation Room - Past (File 07/21) Save Title: [Clockworks and Gears] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Run back to the first cracked wall blew open and go in for your [Sixth Life Upgrade]. Trap 1 - [2x Smashing Bar] Easily avoided Trap 2 - [Spiked floor, 3x rotating spike column] Start running forward when the spiked column is going up then roll under it. Roll under the horizontal spiked column, then roll under ANOTHER spiked column. Trap 3 - [4x Smashing Bar, 2x rotating spike column] Climb on top of the first smashing bar, then climb up on the next smashing bar. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL, past the rotating spike columns and all. Roll to avoid the last smash bar. Trap 4 - [2x Smashing Bar, 2x rotating spike column] Wall-run up then jump backward onto the smashing bar as it's coming up. Jump to the next smashing bar and jump across the rotating spike columns. Voila, you're there. Run back to the [Fountain] to begin your long journey around the clock activation room. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 9 - Activation Room - Past (File 07/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 01:27)) Save Title: [Clockworks and Gears] Goal: [Activate the Second Tower (Past)] Run-up the wall on your right to activate the switch for a platform. You'd want to [Slow Time]. Run out of room, then wall-run on RIGHT WALL past the spinning axel onto the activated [platform]. Climb up onto the platform, and then drop down into room below to kill some guards. Smash the barrels next to a [ladder] then climb up the [ladder]. Jump off the [ladder] onto the block. Wait till the Bomb Giant toss some dogs at you and the block will drop down. Shimmy around the block, and at 3 o'clock (the ladder is 12 o'clock) of the [block] should be a corner area that you can jump into. Once at the corner, wall-run on RIGHT WALL onto the next corner. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL onto the ladder. Climb all the way up, and you'd find yourself at a [lever]. Turn the [lever] 360 degrees and a huge cog will move out allowing you to get past. Get out onto the walkway, and wall-run on LEFT WALL when the smashing stone is lowering. You'd land on the axel of the cog wheel in the middle. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL and you'd grab hold onto ledge at end. Shimmy all the way to the right, then drop down to the first cog wheel edge that spins around. Drop yourself down to the next level below when the cog wheels matches up. Soon as you drop down, when you are spinned till right next to wall, jump off/drop onto [bar] that's waiting for you. Keep swinging across until you stand on the ledge of a mid-air box. Shimmy around to the right and around corner. Jump off onto [bar] and drop down to the bottom [bar]. Swing over to the walkway below. Jump down into the room with enemies waiting, and dispatch them all. Climb up the ladder as before, and jump onto the [block]. Wait for the Bomb Giant to toss doggies and drop the block below. Shimmy to the right and jump off into the corner space again. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, grab hold of ledge. Get up on ledge, and wall-run on LEFT WALL onto the ladder. Go up the [ladder] and on the platform, turn the [lever] 360 degrees. Exploding dogs will come. Get out onto the walkway, and as before, wall-run on RIGHT WALL across the smashing bar onto the axel. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL across the smashing bar onto platform with another [lever]. Turn [lever] 360 degree, and then go onto the walkway. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL then land on the axel. Go through the small window and crack open the art work chest. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL onto the platform with guard on it. Use the [ladder] to go all the way down, then drop down. Wall-run on LEFT WALL across to the other platform, then climb into hanging and shimmy around the corner. Drop down onto a small ledge, then drop down again. Run toward the Bomb Giant, and cut scene should begin. Just kill him like the previous two Iron Giants. He only turns a bit more. Proceed toward the clock mechanism that the Bomb Giant was guarding. Head to the right side. Wall-run up then jump back to reach a [bar]. Swing up to [beam]. Stand on beam then jump to [bar] on left. Swing to wall, jump back to reach higher [bar]. Swing up onto [beam]. Jump across to [ladder]. Climb all the way up. Go to the wall left of the [gate]. Wall-run up and jump back to reach the [hanging switch]. This will extend a walkway allowing you to turn the [lever] in the center. Kill the exploding doggies that appear, and turn the [lever] 360 degree. Now, it's time to get back to the [Central Hall]. ******************************************************************************* [Part 5: The Crazy Insatiable Dahaka] ******************************************************************************* Segment 1 - Activation Room - Past (File 07/21) Save Title: [???] Goal: [Return to the Hourglass Chamber (Past)] Run back across the walkway, go through the [gate]. Wall-run on LEFT WALL past the spokes of the wheel. This might be a tad bit difficult. Start running when the spoke is just disappearing. Now, wall-run on RIGHT WALL past the spoke of another wheel. You'd have to jump across at the end of the wall-run. Start running when you have just enough room to get by. Go down the steps, and doggies will ambush. Kill them, then hang off the ledge at the end to see red curtain. Drop down and grab hold of the curtain to slide down. As you approach the end of the curtain, jump across to reach another curtain. Jump again for the third curtain, and go all the way down. Go down the steps again, and you'd see more curtains as you hang off of this ledge. Do the same thing as above. Run out, and you'd see the huge spinning cog wheel from before. Jump across to the platform, and go down the ladder. Go on the plank, and jump across through the spinning wheel, to the other side where [fountain]. Hang down the platform on the right, then drop down to ledge below and drop again to the ground. Run to the left and back outside to see Iron Giant running for you again. Kill him or ignore him. Now, keep running forward and toward the left. To the left of the closed [gate] is a small alleyway (it's where you first came in from). Wall-run up and you should reach a ledge at the end of the alleyway. Shimmy to the left and climb up all the way until you need to shimmy to the right. Climb up all the way, then shimmy to the right again. Get up on the platform. Run forward and you'd see [fountain] to your right. Keep going past the two smashing bars. Jump across the chasm to reach the ledge. Shimmy around to the [ladder]. Jump off at the last few feet to avoid the spinning blades. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL to catch the curtain and go all the way down. Wall-run up to hang on the [switch] to open the [gate]. [Slow Time] then jump across the chasm and through the gate. Avoid the two rotating blades. Jump across the chasm to the platform across. Jump down to the left, then jump down again and finally onto the big platform to see a cut scene. Trap 1 - [2x Spinning Spike Column, 1x rotating blade] Roll under them, shouldn't be hard. Trap 2 - [Chasm, 2x spinning spike column] Wall-run on left or right wall when appropriate. Trap 3 - [rotating blade] simple Trap 4 - [Huge Chasm, 2x spinning spike column] Notice that the bottom of the far off spinning spike column is coming and going. When it's going away from you, wall-run on LEFT WALL, jump across to reach the ledge. Now climb down to hanging and shimmy to the left. Wait till the spike column passes you to climb up twice. Now, wait for it to go away, then come back to climb down and shimmy under the stationary spike column. Keep going to keep ahead of the moving one. Trap 5 - [3x Rotating blade] simple. Get up on the ladder, jump across to activate the [switch] and open the [gate]. Roll under the gate, run toward the hourglass and cut scene. Move forward after cut scene and you'd get another cut scene in big room. It's time to fight the boss! Very easy in my opinion. [Boss Tip - Fight XXXX] - Block. Then do combo breaker! - Jump over the XXXX and slash. - That's about it. Run forward, turn left. Run forward, turn right. Jump across chasm. Wall-run on LEFT WALL. Turn corner to right, wall-run on LEFT WALL. Turn to left, and jump on [bar], swing off to next [bar] immediately. Turn right, wall-run on LEFT WALL, push on button, grab on [rope]. Run off [rope] and grab onto curtain. Drop down, run forward pass door. Cut scene. ******************************************************************************* [Part 6: What is written in the timeline can be changed!] ******************************************************************************* Segment 1 - Catacombs - Present (File 08/21) Save Title: [???] Goal: [Leave the Island (Present)] It's time to play cat & mouse with the Dahaka. Go up the steps head of you and the Dahaka will appear behind you. Run to the left. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL, then jump across onto platform. Destroy the barrels blocking your way then at the end of platform, wall-run on LEFT WALL (prince perspective) to grab onto [bar]. Swing up the [bar], up the [bar], up to the [platform] then turn left and wall-run on RIGHT WALL grabbing onto [rope]. Run off [rope] and jump across to platform. Run forward and slash the barrel then wall run on RIGHT WALL, jump across at the end to platform. Run to the left with weird tilted camera, jump onto the [hanging switch] then swing off to the platform and you'd be safe! Jump across to the right side of the screen and pull on the tombstone looking thing. Time for Dahaka #2. You don't get to save, so don't die! Go up the steps again, this time your path will fork to the right. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL (prince perspective) and the Dahaka will start chasing. Run forward and then wall-run on the LEFT WALL then jump across to [bar]. Swing to next [bar] then to [platform]. Run forward, jump across chasm, turn right, run forward then jump on the [hanging switch]. Swing off to safety. On this platform, look to the left of where Prince stands, and you'd see column with ledge on it. Wall-run up on it and shimmy to the left then climb up thrice to drop down on ledge with another tombstone. Pull it out. Time for Dahaka #3! Are we having fun yet? Go back up on the steps. Turn right, and wall-run on the LEFT WALL (prince perspective). Dahaka will start chasing you again. Run forward, and then wall-run on LEFT WALL then jump across to [bar]. Swing to next [bar] then to [platform]. Run forward, jump across chasm and go left this time. Roll through the rat hole on the ground, then wall-run on the RIGHT WALL onto [rope]. Run off the [rope] and grab onto [bar]. Swing off the [bar] onto platform, now turn left (prince perspective) and run to between two close wall. Start the wall-to-wall jumps to the top of the platform. Run forward and roll under the rat hole again to start another wall-to-wall jumps up to the top. Now, run forward then wall-run on the RIGHT WALL, grab onto [rope] run off to another [rope] run off to [bar], swing off to [bar], swing off to [platform]. Run forward, jump across chasm, wall-run on LEFT WALL then jump across to go down the curtain. Run down the steps, turn right and run forward! Climb over the rubbles, and wall-run on LEFT WALL to jump across to the opposite platform. Run forward and turn left. Roll under rat hole, then jump to [hanging switch] to activate water curtain. Swing to safety. Phew, that's the tough one. I used two sand tanks because I had to keep pausing and it killed the rhythm. Anyway, jump up on the left column ridge, shimmy around the corner and climb up to ledge. Pull out the tombstone. That's the last of the Dahaka run you have to do. Now, go crack open the art box, then go to the middle with the sarcophagus and start scaling it with the ledges. Jump up, climb up, jump up, shimmy around to the right, climb up, jump, climb up, shimmy right, jump, climb up, jump, climb up. Run forward and jump onto [bar], swing into the water curtain. Oo, the Dahaka is pissed. You're rewarded with water [fountain]. A possible glitch might happen here, where there is an invisible wall that prevents you from getting to the top of the sarcophagus. "We figured out that there is a glitch in the game at that point. We had to start the chase with Dahaka all from scratch again. So we did all four of the chases again. Just let people know that they have to re-do it all again if they can't get up on the sarcophagus. The glitch causes an invisible forcefield on top of the sarcophagus." <<- Anastasia>> %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 2 - Catacomb > Prison - Present (File 08>09/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 11:14)) Save Title: [You Cannot Change Your Fate] Goal: [Leave the Island (Present) > Return to the Throne Room (Past)] Continue forward, smash the art work chest. As you turn right in the corridor, your objective will change. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL and grab onto the ledge. Shimmy over to the left and toss the enemies into the abyss. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, and you'd land on another ledge. Toss more enemies off the platform then turn left. Grab a hold of the ledge on the right side and shimmy left until you're on a [beam]. Climb up and jump forward to another [beam]. Shimmy to the right, then jump to next [beam]. Walk off onto the platform to see bunch of guards. Skipping them is a good idea, or toss them off (you'd get hit though). Wall- run up on the left wall to climb up on a [ladder] then jump across to another [ladder]. Climb up, then jump back across to [ledge]. Shimmy around to the right and onto platform, you'd see cut scene of a sword! [Fountain] on your right. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 3 - Prison - Present (File 09/21) Save Title: [A Throne and a Mask] Goal: [Return to the Throne Room (Past)] From the [fountain] turn around and run straight through the corridor, ignore the enemies and at the end, turn right into the big room with [wood lattice walkway]. The enemies will leave you be soon as you are out in the big room. Walk straight out then turn left. Ninja woman will try to slash you, hop up and send her down. Walk straight, turn right. Ninja woman. Walk straight and you'd reach platform. Turn right, walk on [plank]. At the end, piece will fall off. Jump across to [plank]. Walk straight onto the platform. Ninja woman will appear. Here, you'd have to wall-run on RIGHT WALL and slash the ninja woman at the exact time to get through. On the corner platform, wall-run on RIGHT WALL (Prince Perspective) to reach next platform. Jump to the [curtain] then jump off curtain to another curtain. Cut scene with the Dahaka coming for you. Run straight, turn left. Run down the steps, turn right. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, camera perspective changes. Run down (away from the Dahaka, duh), avoid all the barrels along the way then turn right (Prince Perspective). Run down the steps and turn left. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL then get through the curtain of water to [Time Portal]. Activate the [Time Portal] via randomly generated button sequence. Go through the portal and you'd get [Wind of Fate] another worthless upgrade. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 4 - Prison - Past (File 09/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 11:20)) Save Title: [A Throne and a Mask] Goal: [Return to the Throne Room (Past)] Out the [Time Portal] and you'd be facing traps. Wall-run on LEFT WALL when timing is right so you don't get smacked by the spinning spike columns. Go up the steps and roll under the rotating twin blades. Turn left and go up the steps past all the floor blades. This next trap is a bit tricky. The smash bar will come out first, at which time, you need jump forward and hang off the bar on the opposite side. When the spike column goes past you, jump off the bar to the next platform. Go up the steps, and avoid the wall blades by going to the left side first. Then turn around and you'd see the leftmost spike column is moving. When the opening presents itself, go on through. Activate the [button] and open the [gate]. You'd find yourself in a big room with [Scorpion Sword]. After you kill all the enemies, there's only one path you can go. There is a small room that's empty, and a corridor with a fast spinning spike column and a door way. Go through that, turn right and you'd see another spinning spike column. Roll under it, turn right and you'd see a wall that you can destroy with your new weapon. Charge it up and bash it open. You'd find yourself in room with a [button], a [gate] and steps up with a [lever]. Go up the steps and turn the [lever] to reveal bunch of new tougher enemies. I recommend using the [pole] to swing around repeatedly to kill them all. If you have to kill them without anything, once they block your attack, roll to their side and attack from there. In one of the room now, should be a [box] that you can drag on top of the [switch] to keep the [gate] open. Go through the [gate] and jump off onto the [ladder] and climb down. In this next room, kill the enemies. For the tough guy, I recommend tossing him into the horizontal blades. When done, roll through the horizontal blade. Run through the rotating blade on the right. And you'd find yourself with another set of traps. Run, roll through the rotating blade and avoid the floor saw blade. I'd recommend [Slow Time] against the 2x saw blade + rotating blade. Bash open the weak wall at the end of the corridor and you'd be in a new room! Turn the [lever] in the room, and kill the enemies. Use the trap [button] or the spike pit if you need it. Use [Slow Time] then activate the [button] on the wall in the right room by wall-run up. Run through the [gate] and you'd be greeted with another set of enemies. Tougher ones, toss them all into the pit. Move through into the smaller room with a [lever], turn it and you'd find a [fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 5 - Prison - Past (File 09/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 11:31)) Save Title: [A Throne and a Mask] Goal: [Return to the Throne Room (Past)] From the [fountain], wall-run on RIGHT WALL, then do wall-to-wall jump up to the top. You'd fight [Boss Giant]. [Boss Tips - Boss Giant] Roll under it, slash the calf. Bring him down, and smack his head. Whenever he is leaning to one side, jump to the side he is leaning and hold yourself there. You can jump to the sides by using the "drop down" button. Should be easy. After the boss fight, the big gate is open. Go into the room, and look on the left. You should see a [ladder] next to the corner. Wall-run up to the [ladder] and climb up. Jump off into the platform, smash the art work box, and wall-run up to [button] to open [gate]. Go through the [gate] and kill the enemies for sand if you don't have any. From where you came in, there is a weak wall on the right and weak wall at the far upper left. Go bash open both walls. Now, go to the room on the right. [Slow Time] then wall-run up to activate the [button]. Run to the other room you bashed open, and get through the gate. This is the [Seventh Life Upgrade]! Trap 1 - [2x Spike Column] - Run through, roll if you need to. Trap 2 - [Horizontal blade, spiked floor, 2x spiked column] Start running through when you know the blade is coming and roll under the blade. Depending on your luck, go either right or left against the spike columns. If left, hide in the corner until time is right to run out and into the right side. It'd be tough, use roll. Trap 3 - [Horizontal blade, spiked floor, spiked columns] Start running when you see the spiked columns are coming toward you about to turn around. Roll under the blade and hope for the best. When you're at the end, wait for the spike columns to clear and run in between the two stationary spike columns. Trap 4 - [Spiked columns] Go up the steps under the spiked columns carefully! Congratulation on the [Seventh Life Upgrade]. Go back the way you came, activate the [button] and run through. Take a left through the doorway and wall-run up the LEFT WALL and jump onto the [wood lattice walkway] above. Walk forward and jump onto the next [beam]. Climb up, and jump into the wall [ledge]. Climb up and jump back onto the [beam]. Climb up and jump into the [ledge] above the doorway. Climb up, and jump back onto the [beam] walkway. Climb up and walk into the platform with the [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 6 - Library - Past (File 10/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 12:15)) Save Title: [A Throne and a Mask] Goal: [Return to the Throne Room (Past)] Go to the other end of the room to run-up wall and jump across to the [beam] walkway above. Walk to the right, jump to the wall, and jump back to [beam] above. Climb up and jump to [beam] to the right. Shimmy to the right, and wall-jump up to the [beam] above. Climb up and be welcomed to the [library]! Two ninja girls will appear, but they are really annoying so I tend to just run past them. You'd see cut scene of the [Library]. It looks big, but it's really simple. Hop through the little stone bench and you'd be greeted with tons of enemies. The best way is just to ignore them all, and keep running. If you want to kill them, the black ninja women are best killed by using the throw and gank them when they're on the ground. The black guards are best killed by getting them into blocking position, and roll to the side to slash them to pieces. Once you are done, run past the first [lever] on the left, past the [gate] and into the room with the second [lever]. Turn the [lever] to reveal a new room. Kill the new enemies, then in the room, you should find a [wall switch]. Hang on it, and listen to the clicking sound. When the clicking stops with a big click, [Slow Time] and run back to the [lever]. Turn it, then run to the [gate] and through. Climb on the [ladder] and go all the way up. Kill the two ninja girl. Turn right, and run into a narrow walk way that opens up to a circular area. Turn right, run to next circular area, turn left, kill enemies. Run through into another section of the library, turn left, and run to the end. There is a [pull-switch] at the end, pull both of them out and bookcases will appear. Wall-to-wall jump up the two book cases, and get on the top. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and grab onto the [bar]. Turn around, and swing up to the [beam]. Jump to the next [beam] and walk out to see bars on the Prince's left. Jump on the [bar], and swing to the next. Swing off to the wall with [ledge] then climb up until you reach the [beam] on top, then shimmy over to the right. Climb up onto the beam, shimmy in and drop down onto the rock platform and get out of the doorway going left (prince perspective). Now shimmy over to the right, and jump up on the next ledge. Jump across to the circular [beam] and get up on top. Walk around and defeat the ninja girl. Walk until you can jump to the right onto the next set of circular [beam]. Walk to the right until you reach the end, and jump to the wall with [ledge]. Climb down and fall to the bottom ledge, shimmy to the right under the window and climb up into a doorway. Welcome to the [Eighth Life Upgrade] You'd first walk onto a beam, jump to the wall with [ledge] and climb all the way down. Run past the steps, and into the doorway. Turn right, and you'd see traps. Trap 1 - [Spike Column, rotating blade] Wall-run on LEFT WALL, then jump off across the rotating blade. Trap 2 - [3x Spike Column, 3x floor saw blade, Spiked Floor] Roll under the spike column, and stop! Don't step on the spiked floor just yet. Run when the saw blades are coming towards you, and get past the spiked columns. Trap 3 - [2x Spike Column] Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and jump across soon as you pass the ground spike column to avoid running into the sky spike column. Congratulation on the [Eighth Life Upgrade]! Go back the way you came until you reach the wall with ledges. Climb all the way up, jump back across to the [beam] and walk back out. Climb down the ledges and shimmy across. Climb back up and jump back onto the circular [beam]. Walk around the circular [beam] until you reach the end, and jump across to a small [platform]. Walk across the beam, and you'd be challenged by ninja girl. Walk out onto the [plank] extension toward the next archway, then jump off into next area. You'd be on another set of [beam] now, walk forward. If you want to get the artwork box below, feel free. Just move the box to corner, so you can wall-run up and jump back onto the beam again. Anyway, keep going through the [beams] until Prince says, "These diversions are costing me time." Wall-run on RIGHT WALL onto the [bar] and swing to the next [bar] when the spiked column isn't around. Swing up to the platform. Turn left, and you'd find ninja girl on the opposite end. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL and slash the ninja girl on the way. Run up the steps, then wall-run on the LEFT WALL to next platform. The place should suddenly look familiar. Kill the exploding dog, and go up the step to bash through the door. Walk out on the walkway and jump onto the platform. Get on the plank, and jump across the spinning cog. Go down the platform to the right of the [Fountain] and climb down all the way. Run out of the room and kill the Iron Giant. Run to the left alleyway. Run up the wall, shimmy to the left and climb up. Shimmy to the right, climb up, then shimmy right and go into the room. If you want sand from the really weak enemies, you'd have to jump over them and slash them in midair. Run through the room, past the [Fountain] on the right, and pass the 2x smashing bar. Jump off to the ledge across, shimmy to the right and go down the [ladder]. Jump off the [ladder] across the saw blades. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL down the curtain. Wall-run up on the [switch] and [Slow Time] to run through the [gate]. Duck under the two rotating blade, and you'd find yourself back at [Central Hall]. Jump across, then turn right to drop down on bottom ledge. We'd now go after the [Ninth Life Upgrade]. Turn around toward the fountain, and climb up on the left ledge. Climb all the way to the top, and jump on the [pole]. Go across the [pole] until you reach the opposite platform. Climb up, then wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and jump across to the balcony. Kill the one enemy. Jump across the chasm when spiked column is away. Jump across again then go down the [ladder]. Wall-run across the spiked columns. Go down the [ladder] when time is right. Jump across to the [ledge] and shimmy around to jump onto the other [ladder]. Go down, and kill enemies. Pass the spiked trap, pass the fountain, pass the spiked column and floor trap, pass the spiked columns. Go into the big hall room, and jump up on the block on the right with [bar]. Swing up, shimmy right, swing on platform. Get on [beam] go across, jump on [bar]. Swing on next [bar], jump on wall and back to [beam] above. Climb up, jump on platform. Leap over railing, jump on [skybeam], shimmy over and jump on the next platform. Kill the guard and shadow, leap over railing then jump onto curtain. Leap off curtain onto platform. Walk across beam onto platform. Jump on [beam], climb up, jump on next [beam]], jump off to wall, jump back to [beam] above. Jump across to platform, kill enemies then BASH the metal bars. Pull the block out and against the wall on the right. Climb on block, wall-run up and wall-to-wall jump up to platform above. Wall-run up to activate [switch], then [Slow Time] to run through gate. Trap 1 - [2x Fast Spike Columns] Run through them. Trap 2 - [2x Spike column, chasm, trapped floor] When the spiked column comes together and is parting again, start running and jump across. Trap 3 - [1x Rotating Blade, 1x Spiked Column, trapped floor] When the column is coming down, start running and roll under. Trap 4 - [3x Spiked Columns] When all three spiked columns are coming towards you, and away, run after them, take the right and run through soon as the 2 escorting spiked column turn the other way. Trap 5 - [1x Rotating blade, spiked column, trapped floor] Same as before, when the spiked column is coming down, start running. Trap 6 - [Rotating Blade] - Easy enough. Congratulation on your [Ninth Life Upgrade]. Run back all the way and then get on the little stepping stone on the corner. Run-up the wall, and get on top of the [gate]. Drop down, and you'd be back at the big hall room. Leap over the railing, and jump on the [wood lattice beams]. Ninja girl will challenge you. Kill her then walk on the [plank] extending out to the curtain. Jump to the curtain and slide all the way down. Turn around, and go back the way you came in from. Past the 3x spiked column, pass the spiked column + trapped floor. Pass the [Fountain], pass the trapped floor. Kill the two guards, and go up the [ladder]. Jump across to the ledge, shimmy around and jump on [ladder]. Climb up pass the spiked columns. Wall-run past the spiked column. Kill the guard. Go up the [ladder] on the right. Jump across the chasm. Avoid the spiked column. Jump across another chasm and avoid another spiked column. Go all the way into the [Central Hall]. Jump up on the column on the left, and shimmy around to drop down on the ledge below. Drop down until you reach the bottom, then hang off the ledge and shimmy onto the central platform. Go save at the [Fountain] %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 9 - Central Hall - Past (File 11/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 13:04)) Save Title: [A Throne and a Mask] Goal: [Return to the Throne Room (Past)] Get past the 2x spike column, 1x rotating blade. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL past the 2x spike column, duck under the 1x rotating blade. Up the steps, wait for the spiked column is going away from you, wall-run on LEFT WALL, and jump across to the ledge. Wait for the spiked column to go away, climb on top and jump up to top ledge. Wait for spiked column to come past you, climb down and shimmy past. Run past 2x rotating blade. Up the step and pass another rotating blade. Climb up the [ladder] leap across to step on [switch]. Run past the [gate]. Here is where you can first get the [Water Sword]. And for you to make a decision. You can get the [Water Sword] now, and get the alternative ending. Or you can IGNORE the [Water Sword], and get it later when the game is almost over. Why would you choose the latter? So you can see both endings without 1 hour 40 minutes of backtracking. Why would you choose the former? Because the [Water Sword] will kill most enemies you'd encounter from this point on in 3 slashes. It's up to you, make no difference to the FAQ what you do. To get the sword, just walk up to it. When ready, instead of going up the steps, turn left into a room with [lever]. I don't know what turning the [lever] will do. Wait till the saw blade just hit the bottom and going up to wall-run on the LEFT WALL, past the twin saw blades. Jump across the chasm to the other side before the spiked column smash your head in. Go up the slope and you'd see a cut scene. Smash open the weak throne wall, and go into the [Time Portal]. Another cut scene. Activate the [Time Portal] via randomly generated button sequence. Go through the portal to receive [New Sand Tank], yay! Only 1 hour and 30 minutes left to the game. ******************************************************************************* [Part 7: Prince's Insane Idea That Doesn't Make Sense] ******************************************************************************* Segment 1 - Sacred Caves - Present (File 12/21) Save Title: [The Face of Time] Goal: [Find the Mask (Present)] Get out of the [Time Portal] and you'd find lots of crazy puppy dogs that is very resistant to death if you are sticking with the [Scorpion Sword]. If where you came in is the bottom right of the room, you need to wall-run up the top left wall of a platform where a dog awaits. From this platform, wall-run on RIGHT WALL (Prince Perspective), onto the next platform. Hop onto the top of the platform, and you'd see an evil dog waiting on the wall for you. Wall- run on RIGHT WALL and slash the dog on the way then jump across to platform. Climb up and wall-run up the wall to grab onto ledge. Shimmy to the left, climb up then jump across to the platform. Run in and drop down into pool of water. Jump up at the sloping slash on the left wall, and shimmy your way up. Run out into a big open area, and jump onto a big rock platform in the middle. Enemies will pop out, and you can just ignore them and keep running forward. Jump onto the platform ahead, and climb up into the room with [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 2 - Sacred Caves - Present (File 12/21) Save Title: [The Face of Time] Goal: [Find the Mask (Present)] From the fountain, you should see the mask. Roll under the door on the right and puppies will come to fight. Step on the [button] at the end, and a metal ledge will appear. Jump onto the [ledge] and wall-run on the RIGHT WALL. Jump off onto a [pole] and shimmy up. Jump off the pole and do wall-to-wall jump up onto the top of the [beam]. Walk to the end of the [beam] toward the wall and jump to the [bar]. Swing off the [bar] onto the [button], [Slow Time] as you jump back onto the [bar] from the wall. Swing onto the [beam] and walk to the end toward the open space, and jump toward the metal [ledge]. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and grab onto the [bar]. Swing off the [bar] and hit the [button] then jump back to the [bar] above. Swing off onto the metal [ledge] then wall- run on the RIGHT WALL onto a [ledge]. Climb on top of the [ledge] and jump off to activate the [button] then jump back as you [Slow Time]. Shimmy/Walk around the beam to the end and jump onto the [metal ledge]. Wall run on RIGHT WALL (Prince Perspective) pass the corner and onto a [bar]. Swing off the [bar] and wall-jump off and onto a curtain. Jump off the curtain to reach a hallway where evil dogs await. Kill the dog (it's hard to bash the weak wall if Prince keep turning to the dog). Run forward and jump across the chasm out through the doorway. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL (Prince Perspective), and grab onto the ledge of the column. Shimmy around the column and get on top of the platform. Hop over the platform, and hang off the ledge to shimmy around the column again. Jump off to the platform and go in the doorway. Jump across the chasm run forward and you'd see a red curtain down a hole. Jump onto the curtain and let yourself fall all the way down. You now have the [Mask]. Cut scene ensues. You're now a badass with recharging sand tank. [Slow Time] and run out of the room. With the big chasm to your left, wall-run up on the RIGHT WALL to jump back onto the [bar] above. Swing off to another [bar], then swing off the to wall and jump back to the [pole]. Jump off the pole to the left wall with ledge, shimmy right then drop down to the next ledge below. Shimmy right, and drop down. Shimmy right until you are face-to-face with the crack and jump across to the [beam]. Climb up and shimmy onto the platform. Get pass the 2x spiked column, [Slow Time] if you want to. Faced with huge chasm with spiked column, wait until the spiked column is heading away from you then wall-run on LEFT WALL and jump across to the platform. Hang off the ledge of the platform, and shimmy to the left. Wait till the spiked column is past you to climb up and run forward. Pass the doorway and hang off the ledge. Shimmy around to the right and onto the [beam]. Climb on top of the [beam], and wait till the saw blade is past you or is at the opposite end before jumping to the next [beam]. Jump to the final [beam] and shimmy right. Climb up, [Slow Time] and get through the horizontal blades into [Time Portal] Activate [Time Portal] via randomly generated button sequence. Go through the portal and get [Cyclone of Fate], super worthless. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 4 - Sacred Caves - Past (File 12/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 13:19)) Save Title: [A Second Chance] Goal: [Return to the Access Hall (Past)] Get out of the [Time Portal] and get past the horizontal blades. Climb on the beams, and you'd see both wall saw blades moving. [Slow Time] when both blades are away from you to jump to the [beam]. Hang on the [beam] until both blades passes you. [Slow Time] again, then climb on top, and jump to next [beam]. Jump off the [beam] onto the wall ledge, hang on ledge and shimmy around to the doorway. Now you see a spiked column with a huge chasm. When the spiked column is away, [Slow Time] and run forward and off to hang on to the ledge. Shimmy to the right until you reach the end. When the spiked column is going away from you, [Slow Time], climb up then wall-run up the RIGHT wall (Prince Perspective with back to the chasm) to the ledge above. Climb up, and shimmy to the right. Jump across when the top blade is far away from you. [Slow Time] and shimmy to the left. Once in mid way, let the bottom blade go past you, then climb down, and shimmy left a bit until the top blade passes you again. Climb up then shimmy rest of the way over. Climb down and drop down. In the next room, just get pass the 2x spiked column, and jump across the chasm. Climb on top and use the [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 5 - Sacred Caves - Past (File 13/21) Save Title: [A Second Chance] Goal: [Return to the Access Hall (Past)] Jump out onto the huge platform, and you'd be attacked by Big Bird Boss. BBB. [Boss Tips - Big Bird Boss] - Stay blocked and moving in one direction when it is in the air, and when it swoops, your motion to the left will enable you to roll out of the way quickly. - When it is on land, [Slow Time] and go chop its hind leg. After it's dead, go jump on the platform it smashed into and climb up. Go to the right of the platform, and wall-run up the column to grab onto the ledge. Shimmy to the right, and do wall-to-wall jump till the top. Jump off the platform, back to the center when you reach the top, and shimmy around to the middle. Climb up, then hop over the middle thing, and hang off the side to shimmy around the column again. Jump off to the platform. In the room, wall-run on the RIGHT WALL and jump off to the [bar] in the middle. Then swing off to the [curtain]. Jump off the curtain to the [bar] and swing off to another [curtain]. Drop all the way down the curtain to grab onto the ledge and shimmy to the left. [Slow Time] when the horizontal blade just disappeared then wall-run on LEFT WALL to the next platform. Wall-run up to the ledge, and climb up when the saw blade is away. [Slow Time] when the spiked column is going up, and wall-run up to the ledge above. Climb up and you'd see a spiked column that's in your way. Go to the left side of the spiked column, and wall-run up then jump OVER the spiked column. You'd find yourself outside, of the [Water Tower]. Walk across the [beam] and jump to the next beam. Go up the slope and activate the [button]. Go through the [gate] and run to the right. Wall-run up the ledge, and climb up. Then run to the right toward the [gate] that leads to [Central Hall]. Climb down here and use the [Fountain] if you need it. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and arrive at the corner. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, past the wall saw blades. Kill the enemies. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL past the wall saw blades. Climb down the ladder then wall-run on the RIGHT WALL to the doorway. Climb up on the [ladder] jump across to the [switch] and raise the [gate]. Run through the [gate] and arriving at the balcony. Leap over the railing, then jump onto the [bar]. Swing to the next [bar] and swing to the platform. Run to the end of the platform, and turn left. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, then activate the [button] by wall-run up. Wall-run back on the RIGHT WALL, then climb up on the rock. Wall-run up and jump back to the bar, then swing onto the ledge on wall. Climb up and shimmy around the corner then jump over to the next ledge. Shimmy around and jump over to the next edge. Shimmy around and drop down and climb down on the ladder. Jump down to the platform below, and find the ladder that leads down to the statue/pool level. Run through the hallway past the [fountain]. Drop down and run past. Wall-run up at the end, and climb up. Drop down, and run forward. Wall-run up at the end, and climb up. Run past the [button] and get past the two rotating blade traps. Get pass the enemies and go back out to [Central Hall] area, you'd see cut scene. Run back toward the [Water Garden], past the two rotating blade traps, activate the button and [Slow Time]. At the next section, wall-run up the right wall and jump back onto the [bar]. Shimmy around and swing off onto [bar] then swing off to the [button]. [Slow Time] and run forward into the Garden Area. Use the [Fountain] on your left. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 6 - Garden Hall - Past (File 13/21) Save Title: [The Path of the Sandwraith] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Keep going past the [Fountain] and then use the column on the left to wall-run up and jump across to the [ladder]. Climb up the ladder onto platform, then climb up the next set of [ladder]. Jump across and use the [ladder] to get to the top area. Jump onto the bar to your right that seems too far away. Swing off to the walkway below. Go to the middle of the walkway, and look to the left and see the RavenMan. Wall-run on either wall and catch the [rope] then run off [rope] onto the platform. Dispatch the RavenMan and jump across to the [ladder]. Climb down and drop off to the bottom, then run forward till the [Time Portal]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 7 - Garden Hall - Present (File 14/21) Save Title: [The Path of the Sandwraith] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Exit the [Time Portal] and you'd meet up with our old buddy, the Dahaka. He'd throw you down to god knows where. Drink up on the pool to refill your health and move forward. Roll past the first spiked column, roll under the second. Get pass the three rotating blade and climb up on the ledge. Ninja girl will come oppose you, wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and slash her and land on the opposite side. Go into the doorway and kill the other enemies. From here, wall-run on RIGHT WALL, catch on [rope], run off [rope] onto the ledge. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL, catch on curtain, and jump off onto platform. Jump off onto the main bottom platform and kill the enemies. Run to the end and climb on the ledge to the right. Do wall-to-wall jump against the column and get to the top. Shimmy around and get on the [beam]. Climb on top of the [beam] and walk around to the long end where another Ninja Girl will challenge you. Kill her then walk to the end. Jump up on the column's ledge and climb on top. Jump up onto another ledge above, and then jump off to the [bar] behind. Swing off to the wall and grab hold onto the ledge. Shimmy to the left then jump off onto the platform. Climb on top of the little rock, and wall-run up, then wall-to-wall jump up to the next level up. Wall-run up to push the [button] and go through the [gate]. Run forward, and the screen darkens -- the Dahaka is coming! Yaaa! Jump up on the left then wall-run up to grab onto the ledge to your right. Climb up twice, and get to the top. Jump across to the next platform, then climb up on the ledges here. Shimmy to the left, and climb up more until you reach the trap floor area with 2 spiked columns. Get through into the [Time Portal] beyond. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 8 - Sacrificial Altar - Past (File 14/21) Save Title: [The Path of the Sandwraith] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Get out of the [Time Portal] and pass the spiked columns. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL past the saw blade onto rope. Stand still and jump across to the other rope then run-off the [rope] past the saw blade onto the platform. Run forward, and you'd come to spiked column. Walk on the right wall, and out onto ledge. Drop down the ledge to the ledge below, and drop twice more to the bottom. Jump out onto the [bar] and then drop down to [bar] below. Drop once more to reach the bottom, and walk out into familiar room. Leap over the railing and jump onto the walkway. Run through the walkway, and ninja girls will appear. Keep running, turn left, past the fountain, and turn left and then push on the [button] on the floor. Run back toward the [Fountain] and you'd see cut scene. In the new hallway, wall-run on RIGHT WALL when the moving spiked column is going up. In the next part, wall run on RIGHT WALL when the spiked column is going down and grab onto [rope]. Climb up on [rope] and jump across to the other [rope]. Run-off the [rope] past the twin saw blades onto the platform. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL past the triple saw blades, then jump across the rotating blade trap. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL past the twin saw blades, and save at the [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 9 - Sacrificial Alter / Cliff - Past (File 14/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 13:46)) Save Title: [The Path of the Sandwraith] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Roll under the rat hole, and you'd be greeted with enemies. Use the exploding dogs to blow open the wall directly head of you and hang down to see curtain. This next part will involve collapsing parts, so be quick. Drop down onto the curtain, and jump off onto [bar]. Drop down onto bottom [bar], and swing over to the [pole]. Jump to the next [pole] to the left, then next [pole] to the left, then platform on the top right. Run to the top-left corner of the platform, and if you don't want to kill them all (too lazy?), then use your [Cyclone of Fate!] This is the only time I used it to blow up the barrels. Wall-run up to where the barrels are and jump back across onto the branch. Turn about and swing up onto the wall. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL, grab onto [rope] then run off to [curtain], jump off the curtain onto yellow branch [bar], then swing off to the rusted iron [bar]. Swing off to the wall and start wall-to-wall jump up to the top. Once on top, go over the edge and as you hang, you should see a ledge below with curtain under it. Go onto the ledge, and drop down to the [curtain]. Jump off the [curtain] onto [bar] then swing up to the wall to jump back onto another [bar]. Swing off the [bar] onto [pole] and jump off [pole] to the next [pole], then jump to next [pole] then jump onto [walkway]. Run to the right, then turn left and wall-run on LEFT WALL to grab onto the next platform's ledge. Climb up then wall-run on LEFT WALL and jump off to the [bar]. Rest here until your sand tanks are full. When ready, swing off onto the platform, run to the right and wall-run up then jump off to the platform above. Climb up then wall-run up RIGHT WALL, slash the ninja girl, then grab onto the platform's ledge. [Slow Time], climb on top, charge your sword, and bash open the wall directly ahead of you. Do it fast enough and you can get the artwork chest. Watch the wall blades, when they are all far apart, [Slow Time] then wall-run on LEFT WALL, slash the ninja girl, then grab onto the ledge. Shimmy right immediately, then climb up and avoid the rotating blade. Wait until the triple saw blades are near the bottom, [Slow Time] then wall-run up the wall on right, jump back across and do wall-to-wall jumps all the way to the top. Climb to the top and you'd see 4 saw blades going crazy. Notice that the blade closest to you doesn't reach all the way to the right, and the second blade doesn't reach all the way to the left. [Slow Time] and walk across the first blade's line and wait till time is right to run through the middle of the last two blade. Notice the wall blade on the left, and wait till it's going away before wall- run on the LEFT WALL, then jumping across to the ledge. Hang on the ledge and shimmy across. When the blade is past you, [Slow Time], climb up, and jump across then shimmy rest of the way. Run through the corridor to a cut scene. When you regain control, jump forward to the [pole] then to another [pole], then the doorway and bam, the [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 10 - Fortress Entrance - Past (File 14>15/21) Save Title: [Mirrored Fates] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Keep going down the path, at the chasm with 2 spiked column, wall-run on RIGHT WALL when the spiked columns are opening up. In the next trap, [Slow Time] and walk through the 2 spiked columns. Go past the room with 5 guards. Approach the spiked floor slowly, and horizontal blades will pop out shortly. Time it when it's coming, roll under and get to the next section. Turn right, and it'd be the same situation. Go when you know the horizontal blades are coming and roll underneath. At the last part, do the same as before, go when horizontal blades are coming, roll underneath and keep running off the edge. You'd grab hold of the ledge. Pan the camera down, and just drop down when the coast is clear, you'd catch on the ledge. Drop down a few more times until you're on the ground. Next, wall-run on either side of the wall when the 2x spiked column are going apart and the wall saw blades are going down. Keep running past the spiked floor, and go into the next room. Quick cut scene. Head right and go down the room. Wild exploding doggie will come attack you. You should slow time to prevent getting hurt and smack it thrice to be on your way. Keep going straight down, and you'd see a [ladder] leading up to a platform, take it up to the top. At the top, turn right, and jump across to the next platform. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL past the wall saw blades, and get to the [lever] on this platform. If where you came in is considered 12 o'clock, then the initial position of the [lever] is 3 o'clock, twist it until it's at 12 o'clock. The hot magma will now flow through the tubes to the other side. Get on the [beam] at 9 o'clock leading from your current platform to the next. At this [lever], it starts at 3 o'clock, turn it until it's at 6 o'clock, and the hot magma will now flow into more tubes. You can either wall-run on the RIGHT WALL past the saw blade, onto the [bar], swing to the next [bar], shimmy left then swing onto the platform. Or you can jump down, run to the [ladder] and get back on the platform again. The starting position of this [lever] is 12 o'clock, turn it to 6 o'clock and the cut scene will ensue showing the hot magma flowing through the tubes and into the cauldron. Jump down, and go to where the platform collapsed (toward 6 o'clock position) and hop to the top then wall-run to the ledge. You'd find a [fountain] here. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 11 - Foundry - Past (File 15/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 14:03)) Save Title: [Mirrored Fates] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Continue on, when the horizontal blade is about to disappear after slashing, [Slow Time] and wall-run on the LEFT WALL and jump across to the platform. At the horizontal spiked column, go to the left or the right wall, and turn around with your back to the spiked column. When it comes next to you, [Slow Time], wall-run up and jump across the spiked column. Go up the [ladder] at the end. When the saw blades are apart, jump across to the [ledge]. Climb up and jump up to the next ledge. Climb up when the saw blade is away then jump up and climb up. And jump up again and climb up whenever opportunity presents itself. At the top, jump back across the chasm to platform with a [lever]. Turn the [lever] and the door will open up to the next part. I remember when I first got here, I stared at the trap for 10 minutes, wondering what I should do. Finally, I started running up the wall because I couldn't figure it out, and got the solution. Wall-run up the LEFT WALL before the spiked column to grab onto the ledge. Jump back to the [beam] and get on top. Walk out the [plank], [Slow Time] and jump across when the spiked columns are going apart. At the next [beam], walk to the end, and climb down. When the spiked column is going away, drop down and you should be hanging on the ledge. Go into landscape view, shimmy to the right (Prince Perspective) then jump across to the ledge when there is an opening. Climb up to the top, and shimmy over to the middle. [Slow Time] when there is opening between the saw blades, and climb down all the way quickly. At the next corridor, are two ordinary horizontal blades, but it's not as easy as it seems! Look above, and you'd see wood [beams]. You need to wall-run up the side of the wall, and jump across to the [beam]. [Slow Time] and go to it when the blades have just disappeared. Climb up on the beam, and jump across to the ledge. You'd hop over automatically and find yourself in the Prison! Go to the edge, and hang over the side to see [curtain]. Drop down and grab onto the [curtain] and get to the bottom. You'd find yourself in a familiar place. [Slow Time] and toss all the guards down the middle. Run to the end of the room, and past the doorway into another room. Run to the end of the room, wall-run up and jump back onto the [beam]. Jump to the wall and grab onto the ledge. Climb up and jump across to [beam]. Climb up, then jump toward the ledge on top of the arch entrance way. Climb up, then jump back onto the [beam]. Walk to the platform and you're awarded with [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 12 - Prison - Past (File 15/21) Save Title: [Mirrored Fates] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Run to the opposite end of the room, wall-run up and jump back to [beam]. Climb up, jump to wall, jump back to [beam]. Jump across to center [beam] then shimmy to right and jump to wall, and jump back to [beam]. Walk down the beam into the corridor and bash open the wall at the end with the sword. You're now at the library. For this part, use [Slow Time] excessively to avoid fighting anyone. Find the room with the [lever] and turn to open up the next section of the library. Find the next [lever] past the [gate] and turn to open up the room with the [hanging switch]. Wall-run up to the [hanging switch] and wait till the last final loud click sounds. [Slow Time] and run back to the [lever] and turn it to open up the path to the [gate]. Run through the [gate] and go up the [ladder]. At the platform, turn right and head through the catwalk, all the way down to the other end of the library, and head left to the old book cases that you pulled out long ago. Wall-to-wall jump up the book cases until you reach the top. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, and grab onto the [bar]. Turn about, and swing up onto the [beam]. Jump to next [beam], shimmy forward then jump to the [bar] on the right. Swing to the next [bar] then to the ledge on wall. Climb down the ledge until the very bottom then shimmy to the right under the doorway. Our old friend Dahaka will burst out of the door like kool-aid! Shimmy back to the left, and climb up the ledges until you reach the wood [beam] up top. Shimmy to the right then climb up. Shimmy into the room on the [beam] and jump on/walk the [beams] until you reach the other end of the room. You should see ledges on the wall that you can jump to and hang off of. Climb down these ledges and when you hit the bottom and on the floor, the Dahaka will come after you. Run forward, and wall-run on the LEFT WALL. On the next platform, wall-run on the LEFT WALL again (Prince Perspective) then jump across to the platform. Jump to the [bar] and swing off to the next platform. Run forward and run-up the wall to the ledge and climb up. You're rewarded with a [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 13 - Mystic Caves - Past (File 16/21) Save Title: [Mirrored Fates] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Jump across the first chasm, and the Prince will comment on the fogginess. Bunch of evil doggies will appear to hurt you, but if you [Slow Time], you can get through them easily. Run up the steps, and just keep going forward. Wall- run on the RIGHT WALL to reach the artwork chest and from here, you can see the ledges that allows you to climb down to the bottom platform. Wall-run on LEFT WALL back, and use those ledges that you see to get to the bottom. At the bottom, you'd be ambushed by invisible ninja girl and evil doggies. When ready, wall-run on LEFT WALL, slash the doggie on the wall, and jump across to the platform. You'd now be at a narrow place. Wall-to-wall jump until you reach the top. From the top, turn left and you should see ledges that you need to jump to, then shimmy to the right toward the [gate]. Near the gate, you'd get a cut scene with evil doggie appearing to take a bite out of you. If you use [Slow Time], you can get through them no problem once again. Or kill them. Looking at the [gate] turn right, and walk down the path. At the fork, turn right. Go forward, then turn left (you don't really have much of a choice). You'd now go through a U-Turn then make a left to see a big wall that you get to run on. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, and jump across to [stalactite] at the end. Jump to the next [stalactite] then onto a platform to the bottom right of the screen (the one that's elevated). Drop down below to activate the [button] and you'd see a short cut scene that reveals the [gate] is now opened. [Slow Time] and climb up to the top platform again. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, then jump across to a [stalactite]. Then jump through a series of [stalactite] until you reach the end close to the [gate]. Keep [Slow Time] active, and roll on through. Drop down into the pit, and here is where you'd find the light saber (useless). Activate the [button], [Slow Time] and climb back out and exit right. You'd now be at a bridge, and doggies will come ambush you. Once ready, keep going, but be careful of the camouflaged floor saw blade. Just [Slow Time] and get through them. Keep going forward, and you'd find yourself at a big chasm. Wall-run on LEFT WALL and grab onto the ledge. Climb on top of the ledge and shimmy to the right and around. Jump across chasm to ledge on other side then shimmy left. Jump up on to the top ledge, shimmy left and jump back across when you see the next ledge. Shimmy right, then jump off onto platform. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL across the chasm, then wall-run on RIGHT WALL again to pass another chasm. Hop over the opening and use the [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 14 - Mechanical Pit - Past (File 16/21) Save Title: [Mirrored Fates] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Turn left from the [Fountain] and you'd see a huge pit. Wall-run on LEFT WALL onto [rope]. Stop swinging and climb up on [rope] to jump across to ledge. Shimmy left then jump back across to another [rope]. Run off the [rope] and jump across to the ledge on the right wall. Shimmy left and onto platform. Go into the big room, and run straight. Jump onto the walkway and an exploding doggie will attack Go to the end and jump on the [hanging switch]. Run back toward the big room where you came from, and you'd see a cut scene. From where you now is, turn left, and go through the doorway. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, slash the doggie on the way, and grab onto the [rope]. Run off the [rope] and jump across into the platform of water. Roll under the gate mechanism and go all the way around until you get to the [beams]. Jump on the [bars] and swing across. A cut scene will show you where to go. Go hang over the edge, and grab onto the curtain to get to the bottom quickly. At this platform, go to the end and wall-run on RIGHT WALL past the gear spokes. Run forward and take the left fork over the wooden bridge, and drop down to the right. Go through the doorway, up the steps, pass the fountain, up another flight of steps, run-up the wall to the [button], and get through the [gate]. Get pass the 2 spiked columns, then 2 more spiked columns. Go pass the smashing bar, and climb up on ledge on the right wall. Climb to the top, and shimmy to the left over the 2 spiked columns. Climb down then jump onto the smashing bar and jump down. Roll under the rotating blade, and get out back to the gear work place. Hang off the ledge, and you can drop down to the [beam] at the bottom without going through all the ledges. [Slow Time] then jump through the spinning gear. Walk forward on the plank and drop down onto the platform where 3 exploding doggies will wait for you. Cut scene will show you where to go. From where you jump off, turn right and jump on the [beam]. Climb up and jump across to the circular [beam] room plank. Walk off the plank, then shimmy to the right. Climb down and you'd hang on the ledge. Pan the camera to look down so you can drop onto the plank at the bottom. Walk down back toward the platform, and jump onto it. Go onto the [ladder] in the middle of the platform, and climb down to the bottom. Walk onto the beam, and jump across to the [Fountain]. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Segment 15 - Mechanical Tower - Past (File 17/21) ((PC SAVEGAME 12/14/2004 14:26)) Save Title: [The Race to the Throne] Goal: [Find a Way to the Throne Room (Past)] Run to the right, drop down all the way. Run out and kill the Iron Giant. I'd copy and paste from before. To the left of the closed [gate] is a small alleyway (it's where you first came in from). Wall-run up and you should reach a ledge at the end of the alleyway. Shimmy to the left and climb up all the way until you need to shimmy to the right. Climb up all the way, then shimmy to the right again. Get up on the platform. Run forward and you'd see [fountain] to your right. Keep going past the two smashing bars. Jump across the chasm to reach the ledge. Shimmy around to the [ladder]. Jump off at the last few feet to avoid the spinning blades. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL to catch the curtain and go all the way down. Wall-run up to hang on the [switch] to open the [gate]. [Slow Time] then jump across the chasm and through the gate. Avoid the two rotating blades. Run forward and you'd watch another cut scene. Trap 1 - [2x Spinning Spike Column, 1x rotating blade] Roll under them, shouldn't be hard. Trap 2 - [Chasm, 2x spinning spike column] Wall-run on left or right wall when appropriate. Trap 3 - [rotating blade] simple Trap 4 - [Huge Chasm, 2x spinning spike column] Notice that the bottom of the far off spinning spike column is coming and going. When it's going away from you, wall-run on LEFT WALL, jump across to reach the ledge. Now climb down to hanging and shimmy to the left. Wait till the spike column passes you to climb up twice. Now, wait for it to go away, then come back to climb down and shimmy under the stationary spike column. Keep going to keep ahead of the moving one. Trap 5 - [3x Rotating blade] simple. Get up on the ladder, jump across to activate the [switch] and open the [gate]. Roll under the gate and go forward to see the same cut scene from before. When you regain control, go into the [Time Portal]. Get out of the [Time Portal] and you'd be back in another familiar room. If where you came in is the bottom right of the room, you need to wall-run up the top left wall of a platform. From this platform, wall-run on RIGHT WALL (Prince Perspective), onto the next platform. Hop onto the top of the platform then wall-run on RIGHT WALL and jump across to platform. Climb up and wall-run up the wall to grab onto ledge. Shimmy to the left, climb up then jump across to the platform. Run in and drop down into pool of water. Jump up at the sloping slash on the left wall, and shimmy your way up. Run out into a big open area, and jump onto a big rock platform in the middle. Cut Scene and Final Boss Battle. ******************************************************************************* [Final Boss Tips (The Pretty One)] (File 20/21) If you're playing on [Hard], she is pretty tough with attacks that'd suck out your health like a ... succubus! So, here're some quick tips! 1) Do not use your sand tanks until she [Slow Time]. When she does, you must have the sand tanks to [Slow Time] to counter it. 2) One of the best combo on her when the time is slowed is [Slash, slash, jump over, slash (air), slash (air), slash, slash, slash, slash]. The other combo for damage is just [Slash, Slash, Jump over her, and slash, slash]. Don't push your luck and try to slash when you can back off. 3) When she does the sand cyclones, it's going to be tough, but you must not waste your sand tanks! Try to always run where you can see, and not down into the bottom of the screen (if you do, you might run into an incoming cyclone). Try your best to keep track of them. 4) The easiest way to damage her is by using combo breakers. Attack her normally until she blocks, then you go into blocking stance as well. If she slashes normally, block, then counter attack (you'd kick then slash). If the counter is BLOCKED, immediately retreate. 5) If she ever raises both blades into the air, back away. 6) If she is doing teleporting kicks/slashes, try to roll away. 7) Always wait for a better opportunity to attack! Don't push your luck! If you are patient, she is VERY EASY. That's all the tips I have. Just conserve your sand tanks for slowing time to counter hers. Good luck! ******************************************************************************* [Final Boss Tips (The Ugly One)] (File 18/21) If you got the [Water Sword] and and playing on [Hard Level] these tips will come in handy, trust me. The boss is not as hard as Alma from Ninja Gaiden on Very Hard level, but it is a long battle nonetheless. \\\ General Information /// His attacks are very quick, and unless [Slow Time] is activated, it's very difficult to avoid them. He doesn't really walk, but jump from place to place. He has only a few attacks, and the patterns aren't very hard to tell. The problem is when he gets pissed and starts going crazy after the first phase. It's a LONG battle. I see no way around it. So be prepared mentally and don't be hasty and greedy. Be conservative and take it slow, and you will win. \\\ His Attacks /// 1) If you're close to mid-range away, he will use tendril swipe that'd hurt like mad. You can roll underneath it. 2) If you're far away, he will use ground tendril attack that poke up from the ground that also hurts like hell. You can also avoid this 3) If you're far away, and he is pissed, he CAN jump on top of you, and this hurts like hell. 4) If you are close/melee range, he will punch you in several different ways. Most of which can be avoided by Block+jump back, but this is risky if your [Slow Time] is running low. \\\ Tactics /// <<< Phase 01 >>> 1) You start out in front of him. [Slow Time] immediately, and smack him fast as you can. When he starts a motion to attack you, backflip out of the way or roll to the side and immediately get back to smack him. 2) Keep [Slow Time] active at ALL times. DO NOT GET HURT here. 3) When you're running out of sand (down to one tank), during one of his punches back flip and just keep backing off. He will start his FARAWAY tendril attack. 4) To avoid his FARAWAY tendril attack, know that he PREDICTS where you will be by the direction you're going. If you run in a circle, he will never hit you. If you run in a zig zag, it won't touch you either. During Phase 01, he will stick out about 4~5 tendrils. 5) When you finish collecting more sand, approach him with Slow Time active. Try to run in zig-zag motion towards him, or whenever he isn't sticking tendrils into the ground. When you are close to him, try to go to either side of him, so when he does his tendril swipe, you can roll underneath it. 5) When he gets down to about 70% health, have at least 3~4 sank tank full at all times. 6) Your helper will blast him with ion sand cannon, and he'd hang off the ledge. 7) Quickly slow time, and take the path that'd let you go through a sand, to maybe recharge one or two tanks. 8) Smack him quick as you can! And keep time slowed. I would actually recommend leaving 1 sand tank unused. Because he WILL get up, and he WILL be pissed off. <<< Phase 02 >>> 1) You start out this phase with him going crazy and jumping all over the place. You need to watch where he is going to land, and quickly get away from wherever he is landing at. Backflip away as soon as he lands, and hopefully, you'd avoid his tendril swipes. Slow time down if he is landing REALLY close to you, and you can't get away. Try to run into the sands as you run around too. 2) He'd calm down, and start to use FARAWAY tendril attacks. This is when you go back to using the tactics from Phase 01. 3) Soon, when he gets down to 30~40%, your helper will blast him again. So before that happens, keep your sand tanks level up high. 4) Smack him best as you can. If you don't, he'd recover to more health! <<< Phase 03 >>> 1) You start out this phrase the same as Phrase 02. He is going to be pissed, avoid him the best you can. 2) His ground tendril attacks now stick out about 7~8 tendrils. It's going to be tricky, run in circles the best that you can. For those with analog stick, just rotate your stick at a medium pace. 3) Use the same tactics as before, and you should kill him in this phrase unless you've been slacking in your smacking when he is hanging off the edge. ******************************************************************************* Congratulations. Straight out and you should 2x rotating blades and a guard beyond. Pass that, jump across the pit to the [ledge] and hop up to shimmy left. Jump back across the pit and avoid the rotating blade. Down the steps, and through bunch of enemies. Down the stairs, all the way to the bottom. Turn left, pass [Fountain] and 2x spiked columns, 1 spike column, 2x spiked columns to the courtyard. Turn right, and wall-run up the ledge, then wall-run up and jump across to top platform. Wall-run on LEFT WALL across, and dispatch guards. At the stair steps, instead of going up, there should be a small area to the left of the stair with barrels and button. Break the barrel, and activate the button. This is going to be really hard, and requires you to be REALLY fast (or you can come back later after you get Eye of the Storm). You need to run up the wall of the stair step and hop over the railing (so you don't need to go around). As you are going up the stairs, hug the left wall, and use wall run - - this makes you run faster. When you reach the top, run for the little rat hole quick as you can, and roll -- hope you make it in. You can do it, I did it. Another method of making it, is by using roll ALL the way. Activate the button then jump over the railing of the step. Soon as you land, start rolling up the steps and don't stop jamming on the roll button until you are through the rat hole! <<- Benjamin H>> Trap 1 - [Bar Smasher, Rotating Blade, Floor spikes] When the bar is retracting, wall run on the right. Trap 2 - [2x Bar smasher, rotating blade, floor spike] When the bars are retracting, roll under the blade, and run. Trap 3 - [Bar Smasher, 2x rotating blade, floor spike] When bars are retracting, wall run past the blade, then jump across to get on top of the bar smasher. As it retracts, jump and land into the corner safe from the last rotating blade. Roll through the last blade, and get your health. Retrace your step. You can run across the spikes on the floor. Wall run up and activate the button. Roll through the rat hole. Go down the stairway, run toward where the poles are, then drop down. Move on through to the next room where the moving rotating vertical spikes are. Avoid the first set of spike by walking around them. Roll under the second spike. Move around the third set, and you should be at a fountain. Move through and then go up the stairs toward the fortress. (I didn't kill them again, and just ran through). Up the stairs, and you should see [spinning blade], roll under it and jump across to the ledge. Jump up on the ledges until you are hanging off the very top one and shimmy across. Drop down until you are standing on the bottom ledge, and jump across. Avoid the [spinning blades] and keep moving. You should now be back in the [Central Hall]. ################################################################################ 2. [Second Life Upgrade] Search Code: LU-2 ################################################################################ ************************ I M P O R T A N T N O T E *************************** Seems like the game won't let me jump on the broken wall near the end of the backtracking from [The Warrior Within] save game. From playing the game repeatedly and from different save games, I noticed that while on the column's ledge before jumping onto the broken wall, there is a [wood plank lattice] that you can shimmy onto that is NOT present in prior save games (before the mask). This is probably why you can't jump on the broken wall, because the path has changed to seal you in. So, if you are starting from the very end, I don't know how to get back to the [Central Hall] after getting the [Second Life Upgrade], email me if you do. The last possible moment that I know of to get this [Life Upgrade] is [Part 6, Segment 6] of the main walkthrough. ************************ I M P O R T A N T N O T E *************************** At [Central Hall], go to the [lever] in the central platform. And turn it until it's pointing at 6 o'clock (12 o'clock is pointing the Fountain). Turn back to facing toward the [Fountain] and wall-run up the platform to the left. climb up on the ledges on your left until you reach the top. You should now face a bunch of columns. Jump across poles until you reach the opposite side platforms. On the platform, wall run up one level, and you should be on the same level as the balcony with a red curtain. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, then jump across to the balcony. Go through and you should see [rotating spike column] then a chasm, then another [rotating spike column] then another chasm. Once you cross all that, you'd come to a ladder. You should now be at a huge chasm, with two rotating spike columns. Wall run across when you get the timing down. You should be at another ladder, with three criss-crossing spike columns. Go down when you get the timing down (it looks harder than it is). At the bottom of the ladder (don't drop down), jump across to the ledge, shimmy around and jump onto the ladder then go all the way down. Pass the spike floor, then the [Fountain] then the spiked floor with rotating spike column. You should come up to another set of rotating spike columns. Move around them, easy enough. Get through the next room, slaughtering everything in your path if you like. Go down the steps, and hang off the ledge. Use the curtain, then jump off onto the beam. From beam, jump to next beam. Jump across to next beam. Jump to next beam. Jump onto the walkway, and run to avoid the spike trap. Pass the [Fountain] and into the next room. Don't bother going up the steps, instead, from the doorway, hop up the rock platform on your left. Jump across the chasm to the [ledge] on the column. Climb up, jump up, climb up, jump up then climb up to reach the top. Shimmy to the right and around all the way to the other side, then jump across the chasm to the next column's [ledge]. Shimmy around the corner of the [ledge] until you can jump onto the shiny circular platform. Jump across and climb up. Look to your left, then go up the steps to what looks like a big throne with blood all over. Pull the throne to reveal a hidden doorway in the back. First trap - Spiked floor with two rotating spike columns. Timing -- stay in the middle of the path, and predict where the columns will go toward the end of your trip. Then, avoid. Second trap - Spiked floor with rotating spike column and rotating blade. Start running when the column is hitting the bottom. As soon as you pass the column, start running on the wall, this should get you through the rotating blade. Third trap - Wall blade, spiked floor, and rotating blade. Start running across the wall when the blade is going down just above your height. When you land, try to roll to avoid the blade. Fourth trap - Spiked floor, moving rotating spiked columns. Run toward the spike column as it moves toward you. Roll under and keep running. As you exit the life upgrade area and back to where you fought Shahdee. Look to your left, and you should see rock steps that you can climb on. Get on, and jump across to a ledge. Shimmy to your right, and then jump on the [bar]. Swing up to the next ledge and then jump across moving left. Shimmy around, and jump on another [bar] going left still. Swing up, wall jump up to the [bar] above. Turn around, and swing up on platform. Run up the wall, and get on the rope. Swing across and land on the [beam]. Jump across, and pass the [Fountain] then move right toward the broken bridge. Hang off, and drop down to a small beam below. Jump across and shimmy over to the right. Now, jump across to the column to the north with a ledge. Shimmy around, then jump across to the [bar]. Swing up and land on another beam. Jump up onto the wall to get up twice. Shimmy around to get on a platform. Run around the rock steps, then wall-run on LEFT WALL across to next platform. Run up wall and grab rope. Swing over, and land on platform. Go through the doorway. To the right of the doorway, are ledges you can wall run up and grab a hold onto. Jump up twice, and you should see a [bar]. Swing up on the bars, until you reach room above with spike trap on floor. Run up the wall to the ledge, then keep going up until you can see two bars. Jump onto the [bar], then swing up and jump off wall to get onto the [bar] above. Then swing up onto the NORTH wall (not toward the entrance from whence you came) and you should grab onto a ledge. Shimmy around to the left. Pull up and jump across when the spinning spike column is on the far end. In the next part, wall-run on RIGHT WALL, when the blade is on the top to grab rope. Jump across to the other rope then swing across when time is right. You can stop swinging on the rope and RESWING at anytime to get new timing. The next set of traps, spinning columns, should be easy. Go through the [Time Portal] then go back from where you came. Avoid the traps, should be easy. Jump across to the [ledge], shimmy right then drop down. Wall- run on LEFT WALL, to the other ledge, drop down all the way. [Slow Time] then walk on button, slow time down, go on through the gate and kill a few guards. Drop down and you should see a familiar room. From where you stand, wall run across (on the wall where the portcullis is, should be behind you) to reach a beam. Jump across to next beam. Shimmy to the end ,then turn to look at the wall. Should see a [rope]. Jump across, swing on the [rope] then run off to get on the [bar]. Swing over to the next bar, then to the platform. On the platform, walk out onto the little protruding plank, then jump out onto the [iron beam]. Walk out to the end of the beam, then jump across to the column to hang on the ledge. Shimmy around the ledge, and jump across to go down the curtain. At the end of the curtain, jump off to land on a [beam]. Walk to the end of the beam, and jump off onto a [bar]. Shimmy around, and you should see a platform that might seem too far away. Swing and jump onto it anyway. From the platform, jump down again to the final bottom platform and if you want, kill the enemies. At the far end of the platform, there should be a crumbling wall. To the right of the wall, should be a ledge. Get up on the ledge, then you'd need to do wall-to-wall jumps to go up between the column and the wall. At the very top on the column, shimmy around the ledge, and you should see a [bar]. Jump off onto the bar, then [jump onto the broken wall]* and into the hallway. From the hallway's [Fountain], turn left and go through the hole in the wall. Go right and you should see an open area that look a dead end. Turn around and look to your right, you should see a rock platform that you can hop on. At the top of the two small rock platform, wall-run up the wall and you should grab onto the ledge. Shimmy around the corners, and to the right. At the end, get up on the platform then wall-run on LEFT WALL. Run past a bunch of flag poles and at the end, jump down on the platform below then roll through the rat hole. Go straight, up a set of steps, then drop down to a platform. To your right, should be a [pole]. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, jump across to [pole]. Climb up then jump to platform. Go in the doorway and turn left. Leap over the railing on the right, and drop down to platform below. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and hang onto the [ledge] at the end. Shimmy around the corners then to the left and drop down. Run forward, wall-run on RIGHT WALL, through the corridors, to the [Time Portal] and go through. Go back from where you came. Avoid the 2x spiked columns, wall-run on wall avoiding saw blades. In the room, look left and climb up on the pole and jump across to the ledge on a column. Jump up and shimmy across onto the platform with a broken box (you do remember this room, right?) Jump over onto the ledge above the entrance, shimmy around, and jump across to the next platform. Run around, wall run to hit the button, and use the curtain to get down. Go out the door, past the courtyard, pass the 2x spike columns, 1x spike columns, and 2x spike columns, pass the fountain, up the long stairs into the fortress. Go past the rotating blade trap, jump across pit onto the ledge, up the ledges, shimmy across, down the ledges, across the chasm, past the twin rotating blade. We are now back at the [Central Hall]. ################################################################################ 3. [Third Life Upgrade] Search Code: LU-3 ################################################################################ From the [Central Hall], jump across and turn the [lever] until it's pointing at the [Fountain]. Run toward the exit (the one without the water fountain), and on the right side, you should see a little depression. Go down and hang off of the depression. Jump across and you'd start a wall-to-wall jump that'd slowly descend you. At the bottom, jump down to the platform below. Here is a tough part, you are going to wall run toward the direction of the exit, and BEFORE you reach the end (if you reach it, you'd jump backward, causing you to die), you need to jump across and start wall-to-wall jump upward. A cue to start jumping is when the Prince seems to hit a bump on the wall. In the next part, you'd be doing the same again. Wall run across, and start wall-to-wall jump before you reach the end. This will descend you. Go through the doorway. Don't die, else you'd have to do it ALL OVER. Trap 1 - [4 rotating spiked column with floor spike] Start running when the one column going up and down is reaching the bottom. Trap 2 - [Rotating blade, three rotating spiked columns] This one is very exciting. As the one spike cclumn is going away from you, roll, and wall run across. Soon as you cross the one spiked column, just let go of all buttons and drop down. Hope you don't get hit! On your way back, there're spiked floor, but you can run through them, no problem. As you reach back at the [Central Hall], go left, and jump across the chasm. Then wall-to-wall jump back up to where you were. ################################################################################ 4. It's the [gate] that you jump off the bar into a room where you have to climb down and climb back up (it's marked in brackets in here. Roll under the trap, and when you hit the button, immediately [Slow Time] and run fast as you can across the timed floor. In the next section, wall run up the right wall and jump onto bar overhead. Swing across and activate the switch. Soon as you hit the switch, activate [Slow Time] and run across the timed floor again. Go pass the [Fountain] into the courtyard. Look to the left and run up the wall and jump back to get a hold of the ladder. On the top of the ladder, RavenMan awaits you. Ignore him and go up the next set of ladders. At this platform, go to the end of the wall with the rope. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL, grab onto the rope, run of the [rope], then jump across to the platform. On this platform, wall run toward the huge statue next to red curtain, jump across at the end to get a hold of the bar. [Swing up and into the next room over]*. Jump across to the ledge, and let yourself all the way down. At the very bottom, go to the other end of the room, and pull yourself all the way to the top again. You'd come to a fountain. In the next room, pull on the lever to open the door. You can fight them all, or ignore them. Soon as you run past the first guard, and go up into a garden like area with tree, run to your left and into the corner. You should see an opening on the fence. Drop down there and you'd see a ledge below you. Drop down there and shimmy around and drop down until you reach platform. Wall run on LEFT WALL across. In the next room, just lower yourself by jumping across from ledge to ledge. It's not hard. Once you are at the bottom, jump to the [bar] and swing over to the opposite end of the room. Go to the left side of the room, and go down on the ledge again until you reach another floor down. Trap 1 - [Horizontal Blade, Floor Spikes] - Run across, and roll when you know the blades are coming. Trap 2 - [Horizontal rotating spike column, rotating blade, and floor spike] - Run across when the spike column is coming, roll under. Then roll under the blade. Trap 3 - [Spike columns, floor spikes, horizontal blade] - Run past the spike columns, and then roll under the horizontal blades. Trap 4 - [Rotating blade, floor spikes, rotating spike column] - Roll past the blade, and roll under the column as it comes toward you. Go back the way you came. Jump up on ledge, jump up, jump up, jump across, shimmy, jump up, etc, jump on [bar] swing across, jump up, shimmy, jump up, etc. Out the area, wall-run on RIGHT WALL, wall-run up to the ledge, climb up, jump + climb up, and shimmy around and get back onto the main platform. Run down to the [gate], turn [lever] and go through. Climb down the ledges till the bottom, and climb back up all the way on the other side of the room. Hang over the edge, and shimmy left. Drop down onto the curtain, and go all the way down. Head out of the courtyard, pass the [Fountain], jump down, run to the end, jump up on the ledge, jump up on platform. Jump down on the next section, run to the end, jump up on the ledge, jump up on the platform with a button. Avoid the 2x rotating blades, dispatch the enemies, and go back out into the [Central Hall]. ################################################################################ 5. [Fifth Life Upgrade] Search Code: LU-5 ################################################################################ From the [Central Hall], turn the lever till it's pointing at 3 o'clock position (12 o'clock points to [Fountain]). Now, out on the platform, face to the left. Wall run on the LEFT WALL onto ledges. Climb up on the ledge twice and then shimmy onto platform. Get on the ladder and climb up. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL back toward the entrance. Time your run so you won't get sliced through. Go into the corridor. You'd now wall run on the RIGHT WALL pass two wall blades, and jump across the chasm at the end of wall run. You'd be rewarded with a fountain when you make it across. Wall run up and go into the big open area. Go into the middle and make sure the [lever] is at 9 o'clock position (12 is where the main big [lever] is all the way at the top). Go to the top left block and you should see that it has a little stepping stone right before it. Get on the stepping stone, then wall run up onto the top of the block. Walk off the block onto a plank, then jump toward the [pole]. Shimmy upward and turn right to see a [ledge] to the north. Jump off onto the ledge then shimmy around the corner toward left. Get off the ledge, and wall run on the Prince's RIGHT WALL (Prince Perspective) and grab hold onto a [rope]. Keep going and run off the rope and you'd find yourself at a lever. Make sure the [lever] is pointing to 6 o'clock with the long extension of the block facing out toward a platform to the 6 o'clock. Walk onto the [plank] then jump across to the [plank] of the [block]. Now walk on the [long extension plank] and jump onto the next platform. Once landed, walk forward, then turn left and run across the platform. At the end, you'd see a plank on your left. Walk on the plank, and jump across to [block]. On the [block] turn right and jump across to another [lever]. The lever is at 6 o'clock position initially, turn it until it's at the 12 o'clock position with both block's long extension pointing at 12 o'clock position. Walk toward 12 o'clock, and wall run on your RIGHT WALL onto a [rope] Keep going and run off the rope onto a corner area with ledge. Jump up on the ledge and shimmy around the corner to the end. Jump off the ledge onto the [pole]. Turn right and jump off the pole onto the [block]. Walk on the long [plank] and jump onto the platform to 12 o'clock. Jump down into the small depression and roll under the gate. Jump up from the platform onto ledge above, and jump up again to see door way with railing. Go in. Trap 1 - [Spiked floor, rotating spike column] - Time your run. Start running when spiked column is coming down. Roll if you need to. Trap 2 - [Spiked floor, 3 rotating spike columns] - Again, time your run. Start running when the first column is half way going up. Easy enough. Retrace your steps after getting [Fifth Life Upgrade] and back to the [lever]. Roll under the gate, and then back out into the open area. Jump across to the block where you came from. Onto the [pole] and back on the [ledge]. Shimmy around the corner, and drop down. Wall run on the LEFT WALL (Prince perspective) and onto the [rope]. Run off the [rope] and onto the [lever] platform. Turn the [lever] until it's back to the 6 o'clock position. Jump off the lever platform via the [plank] to the [block] then jump from the [long plank] onto the sky bridge. Turn right and run to the end and then jump back on the [block]. Turn left and jump from the [plank] onto the [lever] platform. Wall run on the LEFT WALL, grab onto the [rope] and run off to the corner. Jump up onto the [ledge] on the wall and shimmy around until the end. Jump off onto the [pole]. Turn left, and shimmy down a bit to jump off onto [block]. Climb down the block easy. Exit the room from where you first came in, [gate] at around 2 o'clock position of the room. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL into the corner. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL again, pass the blades. Go outside, wall-run on the LEFT WALL past the blades. On the platform, go down the [ladder]. Wall run on the RIGHT WALL (Prince perspective). You'd drop down and hang on the ledge. Get up on the platform, and get into the corridor. Climb up the [ladder] jump across to activate [switch]. Run through the [gate] and go through some twist and turns to get back on the balcony with 2 enemies. Leap over railing and hang off then jump over to the [bar]. Jump again to another [bar] and again to the platform. Run to the end of the platform. Turn left and you'd see a wall with [rope]. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, grab onto the [rope] then run off the rope. Run up the wall to activate the button. Go back to where you came by wall-run on the RIGHT WALL (Prince Perspective) back onto the [rope] then run off the [rope] onto the platform. Now climb on the protruding block, and then wall-run up then jump before reaching apex to grab onto a [bar]. Shimmy on the [bar] toward the north where a ledge is. Swing off the [bar] onto the [ledge]. Shimmy on the ledge around the corner, and then climb down from the ledge. Wall-run up the wall and jump off the wall to get on the [hanging switch]. Get off the switch (not sure if the switch did anything, but better safe than sorry), then wall run up to climb up on the ledge to the right. Shimmy around the corner then Jump across to the opposite ledge. Shimmy around the corners, and climb down. Go into the hole with the [ladder] and climb down. On the platform, go left and jump across to climb down the [ladder] to where the RavenMan is. You'd find another set of [ladder] going down. Climb down, then go through the corridor on the left of the [ladder] back toward [Central Hall]. There is a [Fountain] to the right, save if you like. Jump down, run to the end, jump up on the ledge, jump up on platform. Jump down on the next section, run to the end, jump up on the ledge, jump up on the platform with a button. Avoid the 2x rotating blades, dispatch the enemies, and go back out into the [Central Hall]. Go to the lever, and turn it until it's facing the 9 o'clock position (with the Fountain) as the 12 o'clock position. Go save, and prepare for the [Mechanical Tower]. ################################################################################ 6. [Sixth Life Upgrade] Search Code: LU-6 ################################################################################ ************************ I M P O R T A N T N O T E *************************** [12/11/04] The [gate] is closed leading to the [Time Portal] required to get to the main clock room. When you are here with the mask and races back to the throne room, the [gate] is forcibly closed and you have to go down the [curtain] to return to the [Central Hall], the spot is marked in brackets in the next section. After meeting this failure, I went back from [Part 6, Segment 8] to try this again. The [gate] that's closed previously, is open, and I went through to the very end, meeting the Bomb Giant. It no longer throws any bomb, and there is no platform between it and the Prince. No matter what I tried, I cannot get to where the Bomb Giant to take the short cut route out. Boy, I was frustrated until I thought about going back in time and just retrace my steps. Well, that ended in failure too. It is my belief that if you didn't get this life upgrade when you're supposed to (before fighting the Bomb Giant the first time, you're SOL). If you know an alternative way to get to the life upgrade after that point in the game, please email me. [12/14/04] jhaines from GameFAQs said my version is glitched. So, I played the PC version through today and see that the bridge does exist while the Bomb Giant is gone. So the life upgrade is accessible from [Part 6, Segment 8], but not from the very end [The Warrior Within] [12/28/04] You'd need the [Scorpion Sword] or [Water Sword] to break open the wall. If you don't have either, come back when you do. You have time! <<-GB>> If you read the note for [12/11/04], my problem is with the glitched Xbox and that backtracking won't work without the bridge. Chad W, emailed me to provide a solution to the problem, but, unfortunately, I cannot get it to work (though it shows promise, so maybe I just suck). So, for those of you facing the glitched version, the walk through now has a fork to provide you with a possible way to get through and back to the [Central Hall]. ************************ I M P O R T A N T N O T E *************************** Go to the lever, and turn it until it's facing the 9 o'clock position (with the Fountain) as the 12 o'clock position. From the fountain, look on the other side of the entrance and you should see a weapon's rack. Destroy that. [Wall run] on the RIGHT WALL from there, and jump across to reach the platform. On the platform, wall run on the RIGHT WALL and you'd find yourself hanging on a ledge at the end. Jump up, shimmy, jump up, jump up. Now, jump across the chasm to reach platform. Wall run up, and get up on the top of the platform. Look to your left, jump across to reach the clock tower entrance. Jump on the switch, [Slow Time] and run through the [gate]. At the next hallway, jump across the chasm then run to the end and do wall-to-wall jumps. At the top, pass the trap blades and go up the [ladder]. At the top of the ladder, shimmy off the ladder and around the ledge until you are opposite of the platform. Jump across. Avoid the thrusting bars and pass the [Fountain]. Head downstairs and get past the guards heading straight against the wall to your right. Keep going out and you'd be hugging the ledge on the right wall. Shimmy out then climb down to the ledge below. Hang from the ledge, then shimmy to the left then drop down twice until you can hang and shimmy to the right toward a platform landing area. Go through the gate into room. In the room, turn left and you should see button on wall next to some waterfalls. Activate the button by wall-run up. A [block] will come out of the wall to your right. Run up the [block] then run up the wall to hang on a wooden ledge. Climb up on the ledge then jump to climb up on the platform pass the [fountain] on the right and into the main room on the left. [Slow Time] and jump through the gear wheel. Climb on the [ladder] to the top. Look to the right and climb on the [beam]. Jump across to the opposite side onto the [plank] and shimmy to the right and climb up to the top. Shimmy back over to the left, and drop down to the room below. Climb up the [ladder] and shimmy to the half way and get on the protruding plank. Jump across to the platform and three exploding dogs will attack. Climb down and look to the left to the spinning gear. Climb up on the [beam] and jump across to the [plank] sticking out of the wall. Jump to the [plank] on the right, and jump + climb up to the ledge above. Shimmy to the left and jump + climb on the next ledge. Shimmy left and enter the corridor. Roll under the blade or run past it, but be careful, a smashing bar is very close to the left of the rotating blade. When the smashing bar is fully extended, jump up on top of the bar, and wall-run on RIGHT WALL, past the twin spinning spike columns. Get past the next bar and you'd be faced with two spinning spiked columns again. Get past them, and run down the steps past two more spinning spike columns. Jump up on the ledge to your left, and jump up against to shimmy around the corner to activate the [button]. Drop down and run through the [gate]. Go down the steps and you'd meet up with a [fountain]. Go down another set of steps, and you'd meet up with some enemies. I recommend tossing them off to the abyss. Activate [Slow Time] then wall-run up to activate the wall [button]. Jump up on the [block] and then wall-run up to the [rope] above. Wall-run off the [rope] and get on to the catwalk above. Here, you'd meet two more enemies, toss them off and keep going straight then to the right. Run to the end of the catwalk and you'd see a huge spinning gear with axels that you'd have to pass through while wall-running. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL and avoid the axel by going just as it leaves enough room for you. Land on the platform, and toss more enemies off into the abyss. Now, you're facing a faster spinning gear. [Slow Time] if you need it, and wall-run on the LEFT WALL. Jump off at the end of the run to a [pole]. Jump across to the next [pole] on the left, then jump to [pole] on the right, then jump to [pole] on right again. Jump forward into platform with [lever] lit with fire. Jump onto the [platform] and look back toward the [lever] platform. At the apex of the elevator [platform] wall-run on RIGHT WALL, and jump off before reaching the end to do wall-to-wall jumps up to the top. You should now be in a big room with a fireplace. Go through the doorway with exploding dog waiting for you on the wall. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, slash the dog, and grab onto the [rope]. Wall-run off the rope then jump across to the platform with pool of water. Drink up if you need it. When ready, look at the spinning contraption and notice that there are alternating holes on the bottom of each gate. Roll through the [gates] until you reach the other end. Jump up on the [bar] and swing to the next [bar], then swing onto the platform. Toss off the few enemies, and [go through the gate]*. Trap 1 - [Spinning spike column, spiked floor] Run through. Trap 2 - [spiked floor] easy enough. Trap 3 - [Chasm with wall blades] Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL onto [rope]. When time is right, wall-run off the rope and onto the platform. Trap 4 - [Spinning spike column, smashing bar] Avoid the column and run through the smashing bar. Trap 5 - [2x Smashing bar, 2x spinning spike column] Jump up on the column when it's extended, and wall-run on LEFT WALL past the spike column. Avoid the last spinning column and the smashing bar. Trap 6 - [2x spinning spike column] Wall-run on LEFT WALL when the opportunity presents itself. Go through the [Time Portal] and retrace your steps through the traps. Trap 1 - [2x spinning spike column] Wall-run on RIGHT WALL when opportunity comes. Trap 2 - [2x Smashing bar, 2x spike column] Jump up on the smashing bar just as it fully extends itself. Wall-run on LEFT WALL immediately, at end of the run, jump across to land on top of the smashing bar to avoid being smashed. Trap 3 - [2x spike column, smashing bar] Walk past them. Trap 4 - [Chasm, wall blade] Wall-run on LEFT WALL when opportunity comes. Grab onto the [rope] then stop running back and forth on the rope. Jump off the rope to the ledge on your right. Shimmy across, and climb down to shimmy the rest of the way on to the platform. Trap 5 - [Spiked floor, spiked column, spiked floor] - Just run past, easy enough. You'd come back out into a big room with 2 guards waiting. Hang off the side and go to where the [curtain] is, drop off and fall to the bottom platform. You'd now wall-run on the LEFT WALL past the spinning axel, and jump across to [pole]. Jump onto the next few [poles] until you reach the end with the platform. Jump onto the elevator [platform]. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL, and before reaching the end, jump across to do wall-to-wall jump up until you reach the big room with bunch of enemies waiting. Kill them all. Run out through the door to the far right and wall-run on LEFT WALL onto [rope] then run-off [rope] into platform with pooled water. Run ahead and go through the gate by rolling under. Jump over chasm then roll under gate. The camera angle shows you where you need to go. Jump across the broken bridge, dispatch the guard. Climb down the platform on the right side, and drop down onto ledges until you reach the bottom platform. Dispatch guard again. Jump across the [broken bridge] and kill another guard. Turn to your left, and jump across the waterfall to the platform waiting beyond. Go through the doorway shown in the cut scene earlier. Move through the corridor, avoiding a few simple traps until you get to a [button]. Go through the [gate] after activating the [button] and dispatch all guards and exploding dog within. Climb up on the [ladder] till you reach very top, and you'd see an opening on the spinning contraption that you can jump onto from the [ladder]. Once on top of the rotating platform, wall-run up the left wall onto a ledge and climb up, then jump-up + climb up. You should see a ledge being rotated around the axel, jump on the [ledge]. Once the [ledge] rotates you around to the other side, jump off onto the ledge on the wall and raise yourself to the top level. Now jump back across to the spinning ledge. Jump up, and shimmy around until you can climb up and stand on top of the ledge. Jump up again to reach the ledge above, and shimmy around until you can get up on the platform. Wall-run up the ledge on the right (water cascade down) and get up on that ledge. Jump across to the ledge on the spinning axel. Jump across to the left wall ledge and climb up to the top-most level. As you are hanging off the ledge under the button, jump across to the ledges on the spinning axel, notice that ONE ledge is missing from the 4 side -- so be careful. As you stand on top of the ledge, get ready to jump across to hit the [button], and jump right back to the ledge. The [gate] will now open. [Slow Time] if you can get it very well. Fountain awaits you on the other side. Get up the step and into the next room. Dispatch the guards, and then exploding dogs will come. Jump out of the room and onto a broken platform then turn left and jump up on the rock steps and move forward until you are between two close walls. Do wall-to-wall jumps up until the platform above. Here, you'd be attacked by a few guard and ninja girl. From where you jumped up, on the right is a railing. Wall-run up the railing and stand on top of the platform. Jump back across to the [block] that was in the center of the room, then jump across to the ledges on the wall. Climb up to the top and you'd be at a corner platform. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL and get to the next corner platform. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL again, to get to the [ladder]. Climb up and you'd find yourself in a room. Kill what guards are here, and go up the small steps. On the right are piles of rock, on left is a railing. Leap over the railing and drop down one level to the next ledge (cut in the wall). Shimmy around the corner, and jump across to the wooden platform attached to stone platform. Ninja girls will pop out, but you can ignore them and find the [ladder] leading down on the right of where you landed. The ladder is attached on the side of the platform, so you can't see it unless you are hanging off the side of the platform. Go down the [ladder] and you'd see a wooden [beam] and a pendulum swinging back and forth. When time is right, jump across onto the [beam], then across onto the platform. In the room, wall-run on the RIGHT wall past the wall blades. It's best to run when the first blade is going down. You'd catch onto [rope], run off the [rope] then near the end of the run, jump across onto platform's ledge. Raise yourself up and you'd find yourself in a corner again. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL (Prince perspective) and you'd be hanging off ledge. Get down on ledge until you're standing on rock platform with [ladder] attached. Go down the [ladder] and on the next platform, throw everyone off into the abyss. When you are ready, wall-run up the railing on the left and climb up onto the platform. Wall-run up the wall to grab a hold of the ledge, then shimmy around the corner. Jump across to the ledge, and drop down to the ledge below. Shimmy around and drop down onto the platform. Run forward and turn right into the entrance way. Wall-run on LEFT WALL. Run forward then turn left. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL, grab onto [rope] and run off [rope]. Turn and you should see curtain of water. Wall-run up to activate button, then do wall-to-wall jump up to the platform above. Dispatch the enemies here. Run forward, jump across, turn left. Wall-run on LEFT WALL, grab onto [rope] run off [rope]. Camera perspective change, run down, turn right. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL, run forward and go into [Time Portal] room. Go through the [Time Portal] into the past and exit the [Time Portal] room, and you'd be greeted with fully functional traps. Trap 1 - [2x Rotating Spike Column, Chasm] Wall run when the spike is going down. Trap 2 - [2x Rotating blades] Avoid the blade by walking past then rolling into the hole. Then roll under the next blade. Trap 3 - [Chasm, Wall blades] I would again, recommend wall-run on RIGHT WALL when the first blade is going down. Second blade will be somewhat hard, as it's hard to time the swing with the blade. I recommend [Slow Time]. Kill the exploding dog, and roll under the huge cog in the way. Jump across the chasm, and toss the guards into the abyss. Run around the corner, then hang off the platform. Jump across, then do wall-to-wall jump to lower yourself to the bottom. Kill more guards and dog, then wall-run on LEFT WALL catching the [rope] then run off [rope] onto the platform. You can use the [button] here to activate the spike traps that'd kill the guard. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL toward the clockwork contraptions. Once you reach the huge room, turn left and use your sword to bash open the weak wall. Run in for some traps and the [Sixth Life Upgrade]. Trap 1 - [2x Smashing Bar] Easily avoided Trap 2 - [Spiked floor, 3x rotating spike column] Start running forward when the spiked column is going up then roll under it. Roll under the horizontal spiked column, then roll under ANOTHER spiked column. Trap 3 - [4x Smashing Bar, 2x rotating spike column] Climb on top of the first smashing bar, then climb up on the next smashing bar. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL, past the rotating spike columns and all. Roll to avoid the last smash bar. Trap 4 - [2x Smashing Bar, 2x rotating spike column] Wall-run up then jump backward onto the smashing bar as it's coming up. Jump to the next smashing bar and jump across the rotating spike columns. Congratulations on your life upgrade. Now backtrack out to the big open area. With the bridge and where the Bomb Giant used to be. If you're playing the XBOX version, and the bridge isn't there. You can try this alternative method to get to the opposite side with the bomb Giant. Grab the [Life Upgrade] first then return to the [Fountain] Run-up the wall on your right to activate the switch for a platform. You'd want to [Slow Time]. Run out of room, then wall-run on RIGHT WALL past the spinning axel onto the activated [platform]. Climb up onto the platform, and then drop down into room below to kill some guards. Smash the barrels next to a [ladder] then climb up the [ladder]. Jump off the [ladder] onto the block. Wait till the Bomb Giant toss some dogs at you and the block will drop down. Shimmy around the block, and at 3 o'clock (the ladder is 12 o'clock) of the [block] should be a corner area that you can jump into. Once at the corner, wall-run on RIGHT WALL onto the next corner. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL onto the ladder. Climb all the way up, and you'd find yourself at a [lever]. Get out onto the walkway on the left, wall-run on LEFT WALL when the smashing stone is lowering. You'd land on the axel of the cog wheel in the middle. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL and you'd grab hold onto ledge at end. Shimmy all the way to the right, then drop down to the first cog wheel edge that spins around. Drop yourself down to the next level below when the cog wheels matches up. Soon as you drop down, when you are spinned till right next to wall, jump off/drop onto [bar] that's waiting for you. Drop down onto the *** GLITCHED PLATFORM *** At this platform, you'd see that the platform is not really square, but rather a octagon shaped with an edge toward the Bomb Giant that you can walk off and kill yourself and two slanting edges that you can HANG off of. well, you have to jump from the two slanting edges TOWARD the Bomb Giant. Bounce OFF the Bomb Giant, and attempt to survive the fall in way that I cannot figure out. I keep dying, but... this method seems promising, so I'm including it. If you DO succeed, email me =) Anyway, continue on with the rest of the walk through to get back to the [Central Hall]. ################################################################################ Method 2 ################################################################################ Cross the bridge. (Isn't it a lot easier if your version isn't glitched?) ################################################################################ Proceed toward the clock mechanism. Head to the right side. Wall-run up then jump back to reach a [bar]. Swing up to [beam]. Stand on beam then jump to [bar] on left. Swing to wall, jump back to reach higher [bar]. Swing up onto [beam]. Jump across to [ladder]. Climb all the way up. Go through the doorway to the left. Wall-run on LEFT WALL past the spokes of the wheel. This might be a tad bit difficult. Start running when the spoke is just disappearing. Now, wall-run on RIGHT WALL past the spoke of another wheel. You'd have to jump across at the end of the wall-run. Start running when you have just enough room to get by. Go down the steps, and doggies will ambush. Kill them, then hang off the ledge at the end to see red curtain. Drop down and grab hold of the curtain to slide down. As you approach the end of the curtain, jump across to reach another curtain. Jump again for the third curtain, and go all the way down. Go down the steps again, and you'd see more curtains as you hang off of this ledge. Do the same thing as above. Run out, and you'd see the huge spinning cog wheel from before. Jump across to the platform, and go down the ladder. Go on the plank, and jump across through the spinning wheel, to the other side where [fountain]. Hang down the platform on the right, then drop down to ledge below and drop again to the ground. Run to the left and back outside to see Iron Giant running for you again. Kill him or ignore him. Now, keep running forward and toward the left. To the left of the closed [gate] is a small alleyway (it's where you first came in from). Wall-run up and you should reach a ledge at the end of the alleyway. Shimmy to the left and climb up all the way until you need to shimmy to the right. Climb up all the way, then shimmy to the right again. Get up on the platform. Run forward and you'd see [fountain] to your right. Keep going past the two smashing bars. Jump across the chasm to reach the ledge. Shimmy around to the [ladder]. Jump off at the last few feet to avoid the spinning blades. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL to catch the curtain and go all the way down. Wall-run up to hang on the [switch] to open the [gate]. [Slow Time] then jump across the chasm and through the gate. Avoid the two rotating blades. Jump across the chasm to the platform across. Jump down to the left, then jump down again and finally back into [Central Hall]. ################################################################################ 7. [Seventh Life Upgrade] Search Code: LU-7 ################################################################################ Go to the lever, and turn it until it's facing the 9 o'clock position (with the Fountain) as the 12 o'clock position. From the fountain, look on the other side of the entrance and you should see a weapon's rack. Destroy that. [Wall run] on the RIGHT WALL from there, and jump across to reach the platform. On the platform, wall run on the RIGHT WALL and you'd find yourself hanging on a ledge at the end. Jump up, shimmy, jump up, jump up. Now, jump across the chasm to reach platform. Wall run up, and get up on the top of the platform. Look to your left, jump across to reach the clock tower entrance. Jump on the switch, [Slow Time] and run through the [gate]. At the next hallway, jump across the chasm then run to the end and do wall-to-wall jumps. At the top, pass the trap blades and go up the [ladder]. At the top of the ladder, shimmy off the ladder and around the ledge until you are opposite of the platform. Jump across. Avoid the thrusting bars and pass the [Fountain]. Head downstairs and get past the guards heading straight against the wall to your right. Keep going out and you'd be hugging the ledge on the right wall. Shimmy out then climb down to the ledge below. Hang from the ledge, then shimmy to the left then drop down twice until you can hang and shimmy to the right toward a platform landing area. Go through the gate into room. In the room, turn left and you should see button on wall next to some waterfalls. Activate the button by wall-run up. A [block] will come out of the wall to your right. Run up the [block] then run up the wall to hang on a wooden ledge. Climb up on the ledge then jump to climb up on the platform pass the [fountain] on the right and into the main room on the left. [Slow Time] and jump through the gear wheel. Walk off the plank, then turn left, jump onto a little bridge to go into a circular box area with a doorway. Go down the steps, kill an exploding dog, Wall-run on RIGHT WALL, then wall-run on LEFT WALL. This is where it gets tricky. If you wall-run on LEFT WALL, you'd fall to death because there's no ledge to catch onto. If you wall-run on the RIGHT WALL, you'd meet the same fate if you keep going. However, if you wall-run on LEFT WALL, stop running a bit, and you'd catch hold of the [bar]. If you wall-run on RIGHT WALL, jump across at the [bar] and you'd catch it too. Swing off the [bar] and you'd see [Fountain]. This also looks to be a dead-end, but, if you wall-run up the right wall right beside the [Fountain], and jump back, you'd hit a [bar] and be able to swing up to the platform above. Jump across all the [beams], then turn left to jump across to another [beam]. Walk onto the small platform, and jump down. Go through the walkway on your and proceed to the middle of the walkway. You should leap over the railing on your right and drop down from there. To your right, should be room with [lever], and more to the left is the entrance way. Go through that entrance. At the end, drop down onto the beams until you reach the bottom with [Fountain]. Go to the other side, and walk out onto [beam] that leads down. Drop down to the [beam] under. Drop another level down, then finally to the bottom. Turn about, and exit out into an open hall that allows you to see the platform below. To your right, is a weak wall, bash it open. To the left, is another weak wall, bash it open. [Slow Time] then wall-run up to activate the [button]. Run to the other room you bashed open, and get through the gate. This is the [Seventh Life Upgrade]! Trap 1 - [2x Spike Column] - Run through, roll if you need to. Trap 2 - [Horizontal blade, spiked floor, 2x spiked column] Start running through when you know the blade is coming and roll under the blade. Depending on your luck, go either right or left against the spike columns. If left, hide in the corner until time is right to run out and into the right side. It'd be tough, use roll. Trap 3 - [Horizontal blade, spiked floor, spiked columns] Start running when you see the spiked columns are coming toward you about to turn around. Roll under the blade and hope for the best. When you're at the end, wait for the spike columns to clear and run in between the two stationary spike columns. Trap 4 - [Spiked columns] Go up the steps under the spiked columns carefully! Congratulation on the [Seventh Life Upgrade]. Go back the way you came, activate the [button] and run through. Take a left through the doorway and wall-run up the LEFT WALL and jump onto the [wood lattice walkway] above. Walk forward and jump onto the next [beam]. Climb up, and jump into the wall [ledge]. Climb up and jump back onto the [beam]. Climb up and jump into the [ledge] above the doorway. Climb up, and jump back onto the [beam] walkway. Climb up and walk into the platform with the [Fountain]. Go to the other end of the room to run-up wall and jump across to the [beam] walkway above. Walk to the right, jump to the wall, and jump back to [beam] above. Climb up and jump to [beam] to the right. Shimmy to the right, and wall-jump up to the [beam] above. Climb up and you're back in the library. Hop through the little stone bench, run past the first [lever] on the left (you might have to twist the [lever] twice to open up the next section), past the [gate] and into the room with the second [lever]. Turn the [lever] to reveal the next room. Kill the new enemies, then in the room, you should find a [wall switch]. Hang on it, and listen to the clicking sound. When the clicking stops with a big click, [Slow Time] and run back to the [lever]. Turn it, then run to the [gate] and through. Climb on the [ladder] and go all the way up. Kill the two ninja girl. Turn right, and run into a narrow walk way that opens up to a circular area. Turn right, run to next circular area, turn left, kill enemies. Run through into another section of the library, turn left, and run to the end. There is a [pull-switch] at the end, pull both of them out and bookcases will appear (they should be pulled out already). Wall-to-wall jump up the two book cases, and get on the top. Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and grab onto the [bar]. Turn around, and swing up to the [beam]. Jump to the next [beam] and walk out to see bars on the Prince's left. Jump on the [bar], and swing to the next. Swing off to the wall with [ledge] then climb up until you reach the [beam] on top, then shimmy over to the right. Climb up onto the beam, shimmy in and drop down onto the rock platform and get out of the doorway going left (prince perspective). Now shimmy over to the right, and jump up on the next ledge. Jump across to the circular [beam] and get up on top. Walk around and defeat the ninja girl. Walk until you can jump to the right onto the next set of circular [beam]. Walk left around the circular [beam] until you reach the end, and jump across to a small [platform]. Walk across the beam, and you'd be challenged by ninja girl. Walk out onto the [plank] extension toward the next archway, then jump off into next area. You'd be on another set of [beam] now, walk forward. If you want to get the artwork box below, feel free. Just move the box to corner, so you can wall-run up and jump back onto the beam again. Anyway, keep going through the [beams]. Drop down into the next area and you'd find a [Fountain]. Run through the corridor and you'd find a spike column, and a [bar] at the end. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL onto the [bar] and swing to the next [bar] when the spiked column isn't around. Swing up to the platform. Turn left, and you'd find ninja girl on the opposite end. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL. Run up the steps, then wall-run on the LEFT WALL to next platform. Kill the exploding dog, and go up the step to bash through the door. Walk out on the walkway and jump onto the platform. Get on the plank, and jump across the spinning cog. Go down the platform to the right of the [Fountain] and climb down all the way. Run out of the room and kill the Iron Giant. Run to the left alleyway. Jump across all the [beams], then turn left to jump across to another [beam]. Walk onto the small platform, and jump across onto the [beam]. Walk onto the beam, then onto platform. Jump across to the circular [beam], then walk to the end of the [beam]. Jump to the wall with [ledge]. Climb down and fall to the bottom ledge, shimmy to the right under the window and climb up into a doorway. Welcome to the [Eighth Life Upgrade] You'd first walk onto a beam, jump to the wall with [ledge] and climb all the way down. Run past the steps, and into the doorway. Turn right, and you'd see traps. Trap 1 - [Spike Column, rotating blade] Wall-run on LEFT WALL, then jump off across the rotating blade. Trap 2 - [3x Spike Column, 3x floor saw blade, Spiked Floor] Roll under the spike column, and stop! Don't step on the spiked floor just yet. Run when the saw blades are coming towards you, and get past the spiked columns. Trap 3 - [2x Spike Column] Wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and jump across soon as you pass the ground spike column to avoid running into the sky spike column. Congratulation on the [Eighth Life Upgrade]! Go back the way you came until you reach the wall with ledges. Climb all the way up, jump back across to the [beam] and walk back out. Climb down the ledges and shimmy across. Climb back up and jump back onto the circular [beam]. Walk around the circular [beam] until you reach the end, and jump across to a small [platform]. Walk across the beam, and you'd be challenged by ninja girl. Walk out onto the [plank] extension toward the next archway, then jump off into next area. You'd be on another set of [beam] now, walk forward. If you want to get the artwork box below, feel free. Just move the box to corner, so you can wall-run up and jump back onto the beam again. Anyway, keep going through the [beams]. Drop down into the next area and you'd find a [Fountain]. Run through the corridor and you'd find a spike column, and a [bar] at the end. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL onto the [bar] and swing to the next [bar] when the spiked column isn't around. Swing up to the platform. Turn left, and you'd find ninja girl on the opposite end. Wall-run on the RIGHT WALL. Run up the steps, then wall-run on the LEFT WALL to next platform. Kill the exploding dog, and go up the step to bash through the door. Walk out on the walkway and jump onto the platform. Get on the plank, and jump across the spinning cog. Go down the platform to the right of the [Fountain] and climb down all the way. Run out of the room and kill the Iron Giant. Run to the left alleyway. Run up the wall, shimmy to the left and climb up. Shimmy to the right, climb up, then shimmy right and go into the room. Run through the room, past the [Fountain] on the right, and pass the 2x smashing bar. Jump off to the ledge across, shimmy to the right and go down the [ladder]. Jump off the [ladder] across the saw blades. Wall-run on RIGHT WALL down the curtain. Wall-run up on the [switch] and [Slow Time] to run through the [gate]. Duck under the two rotating blade, and you'd find yourself back at [Central Hall]. ################################################################################ 9. [Ninth Life Upgrade] Search Code: LU-9 ################################################################################ From the [Central Hall], turn the [lever] until it's at 6 o'clock position (12 o'clock is the fountain]. Turn around toward the fountain, and climb up on the left ledge. Climb all the way to the top, and jump on the [pole]. Go across the [pole] until you reach the opposite platform. Climb up, then wall-run on the LEFT WALL, and jump across to the balcony. Kill the one enemy. Jump across the chasm when spiked column is away. Jump across again then go down the [ladder]. Wall-run across the spiked columns. Go down the [ladder] when time is right. Jump across to the [ledge] and shimmy around to jump onto the other [ladder]. Go down, and kill enemies. Pass the spiked trap, pass the fountain, pass the spiked column and floor trap, pass the spiked columns. Go into the big hall room, and jump up on the block on the right with [bar]. Swing up, shimmy right, swing on platform. Get on [beam] go across, jump on [bar]. Swing on next [bar], jump on wall and back to [beam] above. Climb up, jump on platform. Leap over railing, jump on [skybeam], shimmy over and jump on the next platform. Kill the guard and shadow, leap over railing then jump onto curtain. Leap off curtain onto platform. Walk across beam onto platform. Jump on [beam], climb up, jump on next [beam]], jump off to wall, jump back to [beam] above. Jump across to platform, kill enemies then BASH the metal bars. Pull the block out and against the wall on the right. Climb on block, wall-run up and wall-to-wall jump up to platform above. Wall-run up to activate [switch], then [Slow Time] to run through gate. Trap 1 - [2x Fast Spike Columns] Run through them. Trap 2 - [2x Spike column, chasm, trapped floor] When the spiked column comes together and is parting again, start running and jump across. Trap 3 - [1x Rotating Blade, 1x Spiked Column, trapped floor] When the column is coming down, start running and roll under. Trap 4 - [3x Spiked Columns] When all three spiked columns are coming towards you, and away, run after them, take the right and run through soon as the 2 escorting spiked column turn the other way. Trap 5 - [1x Rotating blade, spiked column, trapped floor] Same as before, when the spiked column is coming down, start running. Trap 6 - [Rotating Blade] - Easy enough. Congratulation on your [Ninth Life Upgrade]. Run back all the way and then get on the little stepping stone on the corner. Run-up the wall, and get on top of the [gate]. Drop down, and you'd be back at the big hall room. Leap over the railing, and jump on the [wood lattice beams]. Ninja girl will challenge you. Kill her then walk on the [plank] extending out to the curtain. Jump to the curtain and slide all the way down. Turn around, and go back the way you came in from. Past the 3x spiked column, pass the spiked column + trapped floor. Pass the [Fountain], pass the trapped floor. Kill the two guards, and go up the [ladder]. Jump across to the ledge, shimmy around and jump on [ladder]. Climb up pass the spiked columns. Wall-run past the spiked column. Kill the guard. Go up the [ladder] on the right. Jump across the chasm. Avoid the spiked column. Jump across another chasm and avoid another spiked column. Go all the way into the [Central Hall]. Jump up on the column on the left, and shimmy around to drop down on the ledge below. Drop down until you reach the bottom, then hang off the ledge and shimmy onto the central platform. ******************************************************************************* [Part C: Using my PC Save Games] ******************************************************************************* If you don't have the time to get the alternative ending, if you are stuck in a glitch, if you just want to watch the ending video, or whatever -- visit... http://www.rodtv.com/PoP-WW_SaveGames.zip And download the save games. It's played in [Hard] mode, so if you want a challenge, give the two different final bosses a try! Throughout the walkthru, I'd mark locations where you can find the save game with the location, so you can refer to it if you like. Please note that I played through this very quickly without the intention of actually making it public (else I'd have a save game for every section). So, with that said, I don't have all the art works. Sorry! I do have all 9 life upgrades, and you get to choose if you want to pick up the [Water Sword] or not at the very end. If you want to keep your old save games, you should move the content of the directory CC:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\POPWWPROFILES somewhere else. The videos are kind of dark at times, so if you have trouble seeing, try adjusting the gamma of the display. If that doesn't work, just... strain your eyes REALLY hard!
