I tried to make everything neat and organized so you wont have to strain to look for a specific thing. I hope you enjoy this guide, Im trying hard to make it a perfect one. Thank you for your time. ========================================================================================== (2) Why I chose Sieg Hart ========================================================================================== The reason why I choose to make a strategy and move list guide for Sieg Hart is because, well for one, Fidka made a Haru Glory guide already (Haru is my favorite character), Sieg Hart is my second favorite, and I think he is either the best, or near the best character to use in this game. I thought Haru was near best when I played him because of his sword switching to fit his style or to choose to use to beat his opponent, but that takes alot of time looking for specific DB Rave orbs, and you also loose them quite easily and really fast. But when I got to Sieg Hart (about 3 hours into the game), I couldn't believe that he didn't need to have any rave orbs to do his Groove Attack or his Ultimate Groove Attack. Let is like that too. Read on to get specific detail in his basic moves and Groove attacks. =========================================================================================== (3) Controls and Basics =========================================================================================== Here are the controls for the game as default. B = Attack (Press 3 times for a 3 hit combo, obviously) A = Heavy Attack (Used to knock Rave orbs out of your enemy, can't combo it with Sieg Hart) X = Jump (To jump, duh. You can also double jump) Y = Special Attack (Only when you have a yellow Rave orb) Z = Pick up Item (Used to pick up weapons and Rave orbs) L = Block (Blocks moves) R = Groove Attack L+R = Ultimate Groove Attack (With full groove guage only) Another thing, when you block, it takes down from your groove guage really fast. If you block with nothing in your guage, you will be left open for a LONG time. Try to dodge more than block, but in a close up battle, try to parry then attack with a groove attack. If you press block right when your enemy hits you, you will parry. You must have at least 1/4 groove guage to perform it. You can drop weapon item by pressing Z on ground (can't be done in air). You can't drop Rave Orbs. You can only have 1 of each color orb: Reb, Blue and Yellow. =========================================================================================== (4) Moves =========================================================================================== B Attack --------- Sieg Hart makes a bolt of electricity come up, pretty big for a regular B attack. If you press it again, he does the same thing but 2 come out in a line in front of him. Pressing it one more time makes him do it again but with 3. Overall its pretty good, it stops alot of people from doing alot of things, and easy to hit people with. It builds the groove Guage rather fast. Use this alot, it works very good. His jumping B attack is the same as his first attack but he sends it down really fast. Its really good to dodge enemy attacks and counter them with. A Attack --------- Sieg Hart does 3 lighting bolts in a line in front of him like his 3rd Hit B attack. It takes a few seconds for it to come out, but its range is good. It knocks weapons and rave orbs out. His jumping A attack is the same but not as slow. Really good to use to hit them and run. R Groove Attack ---------------- This is the only thing I don't like of the mighty Sieg Hart. His Groove Attack could have been Altearis, but no, they made it very hard to hit. This move is so easy to dodge, its not even funny. Its almost pointless to do this. Sieg Hart sends bolts of electricity from in front, to the left, the right, and the back. It doesn't stop for anything, but they are very skinny and u could just take 2 steps and dodge it. Use this only if you are sure you can hit somebody, or after a parry which makes it perfect. It needs I think 2/4 guage, so with a full guage you should be able to do it 2 times or maybe 3. It would be better to save up for his Ultimate Groove Attack. Can only be used on the ground. L + R Ultimate Groove Attack ----------------------------- You need a full guage, NO WEAPONS, and NO RAVE ORBS. In other words, you must have nothing. Sieg Hart starts up a magic spell, moving his hands in specific directions. Nothing can stop you from doing this move, which is awesome. Once he is done making all those hand movements, the heavenly magic circle (from the anime) appears above. Little pods of light travel around on screen while on the ground in different directions, this is what really hurts your enemy. if they get caught up behind one traveling the opposite direction they are running right at them, they will just die, or they might get lucky, which hardly happens. Around 7 of them are traveling around on the screen at the same time, but after awhile they explode and damage your enemys even more. Sometimes there are places you can dodge the light pods, but not too often will you find one. This move is really cool. But Sometimes it will only take off 3 bars only if they dodge it well. But its good to do it over and over to annoy your enemy. But to help your Ultimate Groove Attack be more succesful, move around and hit people in the way of your light pods and get them killed. You can only do this move on the ground. =========================================================================================== (5) Items that help Sieg Hart in Battle =========================================================================================== At times, When you are getting beat and you really feel like you can't win because of what the enemy(s) are doing to you, use some orbs. Don't always avoid them. The most helpful ones I think are: GG Blue Orb ------------ It makes your Groove Guage go up slowely but it helps. Use this to do more Groove Attacks or Groove Attacks with other weapons. Its the only Blue orb that says "GG". Blue Rave of Inner Strength ---------------------------- Get this if you find it first before the GG orb. This Rave heals you slowely, its very helpful. It looks like Paw print on a Blue Orb. Yellow Rave of Conflict ------------------------ This will help you keep enemys away while running. It makes Plue attack a nearby enemy. You must have 1/4 groove guage to use Plue to help. It looks like a yellow orb with Wings. Red Walthers Fire Orb ---------------------- Get this to help kill enemys fast if you have a weapon. If you have the fire orb with no weapon, you just hit with electricty with no Status effect. Choose your weapon wisely. It looks like a red orb with fire on it. Go's Ugly Blitz Hammer ----------------------- This should help alot if you have walthers fire orb. Its pretty slow but it hits multiple enemys. The Groove Attack ain't bad at all as well. It's the only big brown hammer you can find. =========================================================================================== (6) Strategy's =========================================================================================== First then to do is try to build up your groove guage. Try to only attack one enemy with your B Attack Combo. You should have a high rate of being on top of your enemy if you use your B Attack. Use your A Attack to knock away your enemy's items from causing more damage to you. If there are multiple enemy's near you, use your B attack only when they are in front of you. If they are all around you, jump and use B. Once you have full Groove Guage, Use your Ultimate Groove Attack at the spot. Don't worry about running around, it could be too late if you just run around looking for good spot to use it because it could give your enemy time to pull off a trick. Your Ultimate Groove Attack should give you enough time and space for you to breath. If you have low life, either pick up some raves and weapons (Look above for which are best) or use the hit and run strategy, just jump off walls alot and jump B attack or A attack if you know for sure you will hit until you get full groove guage again. At that time, it would be best to look for Green Crystals (Bring half of your guage up quickly), healing water bottles or Specific Raves and orbs. Also, If you play with your friends and theey favor or love using Let and doing his Jump A attack which gets extremely annoying, Don't worry, just use Sieg Hart's B combo quickly when you see Let jump, or you do your jump or ground A attack if you can in time. If you really want to get him, parry his jumping A attack and he will fall, when he gets up use your B attack combo over and over again untill you get your Groove guage up at max and do his Ultimate Groove Attack: Gran Shario! =========================================================================================== (7) Credits =========================================================================================== I give credit to all the Groove Adventure Rave Fans for telling me to make this Guide. I also want to thank Konami and Hiro Mashima for making this game happen. I would also like to thank you for reading this guide and gamefaqs for putting it up. Please dont take this guide without my permission and post it up on your web site without asking. So far I only posted it up on gamefaqs and would not like to see it on other sites without asking.
