What's New -= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Version 1.0 (9/29/01): The first version of this FAQ. It's complete for the most part, since there's not much of anything to cover in this game anyway. I _might_ be missing an item or two, but if I find any I did in fact miss, I'll update! ***************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= 2. Introduction -= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This party game for the Gameboy Advance is obviously based on the popular Looney Tunes characters. This is the first party-genre game for the portable system, and personally, it sucks. I'm only writing this guide because noone else would! But anyway, the object of the game is to collect 5 gems scattered throughout the large world board to prevent Tweety from turning to stone (how corny of a story that is). You play mini-games, collect items, and move around the board as you try to collect the aforementioned gems. The board is huge and is quite boring, as is this game, so only play if you're just dying to play a GBA party game; otherwise leave this one alone! ***************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= 3. Controls -= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Control Pad: Move character, move cursor on menu screens A: Enter a city on the world map, confirm selection on menu screens B: Cancel selection on menu screens Start: Pause/resume game ***************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= 4. General Information -= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ========== Characters ========== Sylvester Bugs Bunny Daffy Duck Yosemite Sam Marc Antony Porky Pork The above 6 are the playable characters you can choose to play as in this game. There is no real difference between each character, so just pick whichever one you want to play with. ======== Overview ======== There is one large board map and several sub-maps when you enter cities. You and up to 3 other computer controlled characters must move along the map by drawing a card, then move that many spaces. There are 5 gems scattered around to collect, and whoever collects all 5 first wins. Along the way, you can come across other characters and play mini-games, buy items from the Shop, and so on. Read in the following sections for more information on the items and mini-games in this game. You must be quick to get through here because every few turns, Tweety turns more and more into stone. If Tweety totally turns to stone, the game is over. ============= In-Game Menus ============= While playing the game, there are 5 icons on the left of the screen, each opening up into a different menu screen. Here's a quick rundown of what each icon represents and their functions (starting from the top): Cards: Press A to shuffle the card deck; press again to choose a card and move that many spaces on the board. Items: View your current inventory, or pick an item to use. Routes: Use this to move the cursor along the map; this is useful in planning a path towards a certain location. System: Change the speed of the computer players, and choose whether or not you wish to watch mini-games between computer-only players. Guide: Use this to get information about your current location. ========== Mini-Games ========== There are two types of mini-games that are played in this game: regular mini- games and match games. You play a regular mini-game to win Character Points (use these to buy items) if you land on a red space on the map. To play a Match Game, you must land on a space that another character is occupying (you both must have a gem to play). Whoever wins the Match Game can take one of the loser's gems. Read the Mini-Games section of this guide for a list of all the mini-games played in this game. ***************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= 5.
