There are eight sections in the game that are called zones and in each zone are sub-zones that have three different difficulty levels each. So, I will be calling these sections "Zones", the sub-zones "Areas", and the difficulty levels "Levels". In some of the areas, you'll see some tops spinning in the game play area with pictures on them. When you get these things, which I call "Power Ups", you can use them to your advantage, or sometimes disadvantage. If you see "Power Ups" under the area name, that means that the power ups appear in all levels of that area. Otherwise, you'll just see what "Power Ups" can be used in each level. -------- Controls -------- Well, basically, it's just the D-Pad, or Directional Pad, to move the paddle and the X button to use the power ups. When you have more than one power up, as in different types as opposed to amount, and want to switch between them, use the R1 button. -------------- On To The Game -------------- In the areas where you play against the computer, assuming you're trying to unlock all the areas, you must win with a difference of at least two points between your score and the computer's score. For example, if you have nine points and the computer has eight points, you can win if you get one more point. In the same situation, if the computer scores and ties, then you will have to play on until either side wins. ====== Zone 1 ====== Area 1 - Penguin Pong Pong on ice with two penguins in the middle of the game play area walking back and forth. One paddle to each side. Each time you hit a penguin, another ball comes out, four balls max at once and you play to ten points. Level 1 - Seal Saver Power Ups: You get a seal to help you deflect the ball. Level 2 - Polar Power Power Ups: You get a polar bear. It lifts up your side so the opponent's side can't get the ball over, if the ball is on that side. Use carefully. Level 3 - Snowstorm A strong wind blows and can change the direction the ball is travelling. Power Ups: None Area 2 - Soccer Stars Power Ups: None Pong on the soccer field. Two paddles to each side; one on offense and the other as goalie. You play to ten points. Level 1 - Plain Pitch Plain soccer, just score to get points. Level 2 - Mole Hills Now there are mole hills that can deflect the ball. Level 3 - Mole Holes Now there are holes and the ball can go in them and they come out another. Area 3 - Log Jam Game area has four logs in the middle that can spin. One paddle to each side. You have two goal areas and play to ten points. Level 1 - One Way Power Ups: One power up to make the logs spin; if opponent gets it, logs spin toward you and vice versa. One power up for a power hit; you get three power hits to each power up you get, max three. Level 2 - Cuts Both Ways Now the logs are cut in half. Power Ups: Same as "One Way" except that for making the logs spin, there's two that corresponds to the colors on the logs. Level 3 - Saw Point Logs are cut in half, plus the saw that cut them appears from time to time and it can create more balls if a ball hits it. Power Ups: Same as "Cuts Both Ways". Area 4 - Clown Around Power Ups: None Colored ball will come out and you have to match them with the corresponding colored box. Level 1 - Two Tone Basically what I just said above. Level 2 - Color Match Just like "Two Tone" except that there are more colored boxes. Level 3 - Multicolors Just like "Color Match", just faster. ====== Zone 2 ====== Area 1 - Beach Party Power Ups: Infinite holding. Pong at the beach. Two paddles to each side, infinite holding for a limited amount of time. You play to seven points. Level 1 - Plain Sailing Pong on water. Level 2 - Iced Over Pong on ice. It's very slippery. Level 3 - Lighthouse Just like "Plain Sailing", except that your view is now a circle that looks like a circle of light on the ocean that's been created by a light house. Area 2 - Rock N Roll Pong on what looks like an air hockey table. One paddle to each side. You play to ten points. Level 1 - Table Tips Power Ups: Power up to tip the table. Level 2 - Up And Over Power Ups: Power up to tip the table and another to create a hill in the middle of the playing area. Level 3 - Total Tilt Power Ups: Same as "Up and Over" with one more that makes a dip in the game area. Area 3 - Seal Juggle Power Ups: Infinite bumping Description: Object is to get a ball to each seal. Level 1 - Simple Seals Three balls, three seals. Get a ball to each seal. Level 2 - Trained Seals Same as "Simple Seals" except there's four balls and four seals. Level 3 - Seal Skill Same as "Trained Seals" except there's five balls and five seals. ====== Zone 3 ====== Area 1 - In A Spin Power Ups: Infinite throwing; score in a lighted goal to get a defensive barrier. You have two goal areas. Level 1 - Sling Shot Game area has a hill in the middle with a piece of wood sticking out. Play to five points. Level 2 - Turntable Game area is like "Sling Shot" except that there are now two monkeys with a level in the middle that can make the hill revolve. Hit the wood in the middle or the green button at the top to make them revolve. Play to seven points. Level 3 - Toothless You now have four goal areas, but it's the same idea as "Turntable", just a little more difficult. Area 2 - Puck Pong Power Ups: Infinite holding Pong played in a hockey rink. One paddle to each side, one big puck in the middle, two balls to each side. You play to five points. You have to grab a ball and launch it toward the puck and make it cross over the line to score a point. Level 1 - Puck Power Power Ups: None Just basically what I said above. Level 2 - Puck Fans Power Ups: Fan blower Now you have the use of the fans behind you. These can be used to your advantage as it blows the puck away from your side. Game play is still the same. Level 3 - Fan Frenzy Power Ups: Fan blower, and another with a skull on it that makes the opponents fans operate. Game play is the same as "Fan Blower". Area 3 - Fishing Frenzy Power Ups: None Fishing, with a crocodile swimming in the outer ring close to the shore. Hold down the X button for the strength of the cast and hold down X again to reel it back in. There's eight fish and you have to get every one. You lose if the crocodile eats one of the fish. Level 1 - Croc Alert Fish pop up and all you have to do is land the sinker on the fish and reel 'em in. Level 2 - Foolish Fishing In this level, the fish move towards the shore, in the area where the crocodile swims. Level 3 - Fast Fishing Same as "Foolish Fishing" except the fish start coming to the surface pretty fast. ====== Zone 4 ====== Area 1 - Jungle Japes Power Ups: Infinite holding and power hitting The game area has a bunch of holes in it and each side has four goal areas. Play to seven points. Score in each goal to get defense spikes. Level 1 - Jungle Spikes Power Ups: One with a skull on it to raise the spikes up. Level 2 - Kong Khaos Power Ups: One with a skull on it that brings down a giant gorilla that makes the game play area uneven. Level 3 - Monkey Business Power Ups: One with a skull on it that brings down a monkey that looks like the giant gorilla from "Kong Khaos". What it does is flattens your paddle if it gets ahold of it. Area 2 - Balloon Circus Power Ups: None Twelve balloons, 12 points. The wall is divided into 16 pieces and the game play area is round, sort of like a circus ring. Level 1 - Balloon Busters Hit each balloon once to pop them. A section of wall falls when then ball hits it. Level 2 - Double Whammy Hit each balloon *twice* to pop them. A portion of wall falls when the ball hits it. A portion, as opposed to a section, corresponds to four sections. Level 3 - Weak Walls Same as "Double Whammy" except that when you hit any section of the wall, the whole wall goes down. Looks very cool, kinda like dominoes. Area 3 - Flock Fiasco Power Ups: None Game area is a circular piece of land with high elevation with sheep on it and a red circle in the middle. Object is to get the sheep on the red circle. Each time the the ball goes over the side any sheep in the red circle come out and go towards the edge of the cliff. You lose if any sheep fall off the side of the cliff. Level 1 - Not Baaaaad You start off with three sheep. Level 2 - Ewe Loser More sheep in this level. Level 3 - Cry Wolf There's a wolf in this level. Each time the wolf goes into the red circle and if there are any sheep in the circle, they run out to get away from the wolf. ====== Zone 5 ====== Area 1 - Dervish Danger Each side has two goal areas and you play to ten points. Level 1 - Vortex Power Ups: Holding, power hitting, and one with a skull on it to make the fans spin to create wind cyclones. Level 2 - Robot Wars Power Ups: None There's a robot in this level that if you hit, it lays a smart bomb that burns the opponent's paddle, making it slower. Level 3 - Belt Up Power Ups: Same as "Vortex". There are green buttons that are placed in between the goals making four goal areas. Hitting the green button makes the conveyor belt under the paddle go in the corresponding direction of the arrow in the back of the green button. Area 2 - Pongball Wizard Power Ups: Infinite bumping This is basically like a pinball machine. There are four pillars, one has the gold bars on it and to start off, one will be glowing. The one that's glowing is the only one that can be reduced. Keep going at it until you can hit the gold bars with the ball. Level 1 - Warm One ball at a time, three gold bars. Level 2 - Hotter Start off with one ball and another ball comes out, kind of like a multi-ball in pinball, two gold bars. Level 3 - On Fire Start off with one ball and the other two come out, not at the same time though. Once you get all the pillars down, they come back up and you have to do it one more time before you have access to the gold bar. Area 3 - Frog Follies Power Ups: None You're on a raft with four paddles and frogs and the object is to get the gold bars without the ball hitting a frog or falling off the raft. There is one paddle to each side; the paddles on top and bottom control the direction of the ball in the left/right directions and the paddles on the left and right control the direction of the ball in the up/down directions. Level 1 - Fools Gold Three frogs. Just manuever your way around them to get the three gold bars. Level 2 - Rickety Raft Five frogs, one isn't moving, and the raft has some openings. My strategy was to go to the left where the furthest frog was and then go up. Then to to the right where the right most paddle was and go down to get the two gold bars. Level 3 - Hopping Mad Seven frogs, three aren't moving, and this is just like "Rickety Raft" where there are openings. The trick is to make get all the non-moving frogs to move. My strategy was to go towards the frog to the right of the ball and go down. Then go towards the side of the right most paddle and go up; this should get the frog that was initially to the right of the ball moving. Wait for it then go past it, beyond the point where it stopped to get the frog that was initially to the left of the ball moving. Once you've done that, go down to the last frog via the first non-moving frog's path and watch its path. Once you've got it down, to up and tweak the ball to the left to get the gold bar. ====== Zone 6 ====== Area 1 - Henhouse Surprise Power Ups: None There are four hens above the paddle and four coops behind it, each with a different color. The object here is to get the different colored eggs laid by the hens into the coop with the corresponding color, and you go to 12 points. Level 1 - Egg On Your Face Just get the different colored eggs into the corresponding coop with the same color. Level 2 - Egg-cellent Just like "Egg On Your Face" only it's a little faster. Level 3 - Egg-streme In this level, a board comes down to cover a coop, so you have to keep juggling that egg until the coop opens up again. Area 2 - Polar Pivot Power Ups: None You're on a circular platform and there's penguins walking in a circle and the ball is in the middle of them. Level 1 - Penguin Parade The object of this level is to use the ball to get the penguins to jump into the water. Level 2 -Penguin Panic Same as "Penguin Parade" except that the penguins move faster and they ocassionally change direction. Level 3 - Pick a Penguin Same as "Penguin Parade" except that they move back towards the center of the iceberg as you keep hitting or missing them. ====== Zone 7 ====== Game Type 1 There will be three different colors below the paddle and balls will fall down. The object is to match the colored balls with the color below the paddle and it goes to six points. The game area is the left part of the Atari symbol. Game Type 2 Same as "Game Type 1" except that it goes a little faster. The game area is the right part of the Atari symbol. Game Type 3 Same as "Game Type 2", and it goes to 12 points. The game area is the middle part of the Atari symbol. ====== Zone 8 ====== Game 1 Classic Pong game. One paddle to each side, play to ten points. Game 2 Another classic Pong game. Two paddles to each side with a wall with an opening in the middle as a goal. Play to ten points. Game 3 Another classic Pong game. Two paddles to each side and the goal area looks like the goal in "Soccer Stars". Play to ten points. ======= Secrets ======= [Note: Pong Size and Ball Speed work in any area and any level.
