But don't think it's the same as the others. Now there is new items, more bosses, different enemies, harder dungeons, and much, much more! Some of the bosses, enemies, and dungeons on the game can be a little bit hard to beat but not to worry. With this FAQ they will know all monsters, bosses, where to find them and even strategy for them. This is one of the hardest FAQ I've ever write so enjoy. I would like to thank my FAQ partner, Relle, for helping me through half of the game. The FAQ was never completed for about 2 years until he stepped in. Thanks! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ___________________________________________________ C O N T R O L S ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |ID: #ZLAC| ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ The controls in this game are a little bit different from the other games. I will not add very much details about items, bosses and enemies because I already list them in the other section. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Mabe Village * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * As you awaken in the house go talk to Marin and Tarin before heading off outside. Once you talk to Tarin he will give you your shield. After getting the shield head out of the house. Go left and you'll see a huge black dog and keep on continuing left until you can't go any further. Don't bother going up because you don't have the sword yet. Head south and keep going south until you’re at Toronbo Shores. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Toronbo Shores * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Now that you're here keep on heading south until you reach the beach. Now here come the tricky part. There are a couple of enemies a long the way that will hurt you if you don't know what to do. Use your shield to dodge there attack and head right. Once you get to the place with the Urchins (spike monster) that is blocking your way. Use the shield and move them toward until you have space to go down. There is your sword lying on the beach. Retrieve it and an owl will fly by. He will explain what you need to do next so read carefully. After that destroy the Urchins and head back to Mabe Village. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Mabe Village * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Head north from the library for 2 screens and you'll see the entrance to your new destination...the Mysterious Forest. Now that you have the sword cut the plant that is blocking your way and enter the forest. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Mysterious Forest * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Welcome to the forest! Head north and the owl will come by to give you some tips. Read it carefully and continue north. Head right a couple of times and you'll see a cave. Enter the cave and you'll see some bats and a treasure chest in the middle of the room. You'll also see some crack ground, what that means is that if you stay on the ground for too long you'll fall down and lose half a heart. Destroy all the bats and make your way to the chest. Destroy the plants and push the boulder down so you can unlock the chest. Congrats the chest contain 50 rupees. After getting the chest make your way up north. There will be 2 enemy in your way. Just easily destroy them and head right. In this room there will be some rocks and a heart piece in the middle. Don't bother trying to get the heart piece yet. Just push the rocks and make you way near the exit. Once you’re out of the cave look on your left. Behind a couple of plant, there should be a mushroom. Get it and head north. Continue on a couple of screens and you should see a heart piece and holes around it. Head south until you see a weird looking creature (kind of look like an octopus). Whatever you do don't try to destroy it or else you'll get hurt. Head south and right until you get to a weird hut. Enter the hut and you'll see a witch stirring a pot and a cat running around. Get near the witch and use the mushroom. She will take it from you and stir you up some Magic Powder. After you get it don't use it yet. Return outside and continue back to the cave where you got the mushroom. Return out of the exit and head to where the raccoon is the raccoon that tells you not to go into the forest). Get near him and sprinkle some Magic Powder on him... Suddenly he will start bouncing like crazy!!! After he crash he turns out to be...Tarin!!! Read what he said to you and go north to the next screen. There will be a chest with a plant covering it. Destroy the plant open the chest. You will receive a key! Suddenly the owl came back. He will explain what the key use is for and then he'll leave. Now that you got the key head back to Mabe Village. Once you leave the entrance to the Mysterious Wood keep on heading south until you get the place with the looking octopus. Head right a couple of times and you'll see a whole and other octopus. Head south once more to reveal your next dungeon... Tail Cave! * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Tail Cave * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * BOSS : Moldrom KEYS : 3 DIFFICULTY : 1 WEAPON EARN : Roc's Feather INSTRUMENT EARN : Full Moon Cello STRATEGY : This is your first dungeon and it'll probably be you’re easiest one. In this dungeon there is a secret place to get a Seashell if you have some bombs. On the farthest room on the left there will be a crack that you can bomb. Put a bomb there and it'll reveal a Secret Seashell. To avoid the blade trap in this dungeon try pushing the block in there way. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Mabe Village * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Once you’re done with the dungeon head back to Mabe village. Once you get where the library is, suddenly the 2 boys that was playing catch will rush to talk to you. They will tell you that Bow Wow (the big black dog) has been kidnap by Goblins! Your next mission is try to find the Goblin and get Bow Wow back. Head up to the Mysterious Forest again and continue going north. Go to where you first got the Tail Key and jump the hole with your Roc's Feather. Once you get to the Telephone Booth head right a couple of time to see a cave. Enter the cave and there will be some Goblins there. Destroy them all to make the door open. Destroy the other Goblins to make the boss Goblin door open. Now you get to fight the Boss Goblin (check out the mini-boss section for more information). Defeat him and head right to retrieve Bow Wow back. Don't bother going back to return Bow Wow. Return out of the cave and continue heading south and right to go to Goponga Swamp. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Goponga Swamp * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Now that you’re at Goponga Swamp there should be some weird looking plants that you can't destroy. Don't bother using your items or weapons because there is only 1 way to get rid of it...Bow Wow. Stand close to the plant and Bow Wow will eat it (yummy ^_^). Now head right one more time to reveal the next level, Bottle Grotto. Let Bow Wow finish eating up the plants and then enter. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Bottle Grotto * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * BOSS : Genie KEYS : 5 DIFFICULTY : 3 WEAPON EARN : Bracelet INSTRUMENT EARN : Conch Horn STRATEGY : There is much of a secret in this level. The only way you can destroy the Pol Voice is by throwing pot at them. You'll come to a place with a Bat, Pol Voice, and a Stalfos. In order to continue you defeat them in an exact order. The order goes Pol Voice, Bat and Stalfos. Once you enter a tunnel there will be some weird mushroom creature(look like the one on the Mario games). These creature will help you if you know what to do. Don't kill it with a weapon, instead jump on it to get a free heart. You can use the same strategy on them as many time as you like and still get a free heart. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Mabe Village * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Once you got the Conch Horn return to Mabe Village to see where you're going next. Stop by the item shop and buy a few thing before you head off on your next destination, check the items section. Now head north and get to the screen with the Dream Shrine. Head south from there and there will be some plants next to 2 boulder. Destroy the plant and move the boulder with the bracelet to enter the Prairie. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Ukuku Prairie * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * In this area you’re going to see a lot of plants and enemies. Head right a couple of time until your pass the warp (you'll find out about it later). Head north to reveal a cave. You can bomb the cave to enter and get some rupees or you can head right again. There will be another cave as well as a weird looking tree. Destroy the cave with a bomb to enter it. You'll see a fairy and she will heal you. Return out of the cave and head back to where you see the warp. Head south a couple of time until you can't go any further. Then go right, and south to get to a house. Enter it and you'll see a girl and some frogs hoping around. Talk to her to find out what to do next. Now that you'll probably know that in order to get key from her you have to get 5 Golden Leaves. Return outside and continue north and right to get to Kanalet Castle. Go right and north a couple of time and you'll see a monkey (KiKi). I hope you've been doing the trading game because the only way to get a head is to give him a bananas. Check the trading game section to find out how to get it. Once you give the monkey the banana he and his gang will build you a bridge to the castle. Get the stick that he left behind and go north a couple of time. You'll see a Telephone Booth, look on the left and you should see a plant. Cut it down and a staircase will be reveal. Enter the staircase and you'll see some Goombas (weird mushroom creatures). Use the Roc's Feather from level 1 to get to the end of the tunnel. Welcome to Kanalet Castle! * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Kanalet Castle * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Here you'll need to find the 5 Golden Leaves. There location is: Leaf #1 In the castle at the second room there will be some enemies. Destroy them all (except the light thing) to get a leave. Leaf #2 Go to the third room where there is a switch and a staircase to go to level 2. Climb up the staircase and enter the door. there will be 2 pictures on the wall. Bomb the right one to reveal an enemy. Destroy it to receive a golden leave. Leaf #3 From Leave #2 head right and out of the castle. Go into the other entrance and you'll see a room with pots and a door. Using the Bracelet, throw the pot at the door to make it open. Leaf #4 Outside of the castle to the right of the area you'll see some holes and an enemy that will two bombs at you. Simply shoot him with an arrow or hit him with your sword to get a Golden Leave. Leaf #5 Also outside the castle you'll see a raven and a boulder close by it. Lift the boulder with the Bracelet and throw it at the Raven to receive your last and final leave. After getting all 5 Golden Leaves return to the place where you first met that girl and give it to her. She will then reveal a hidden passage way to the back of the house. In the back of the house you'll see a whole bunch of plants. Under some of them there will be holes, so watch where you step. Try to pick the right way and head north, north, and left until you see an owl statue. Using the shovel dig in front of it to get the Slime Key! Leave the place and head left, up, and north to get to the next place. There will be a key hole there. So use the key to unlock the dungeon. Head back to the place where you met that girl and head right, north, and left until you see some little island and water surrounding it. Using the Roc's Feather jump across the little island until you get to the next Level...Key Cavern. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Key Cavern * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * BOSS : Slime Eye KEYS : 8 DIFFICULTY : 4 WEAPON EARN : Pegasus Boots INSTRUMENT EARN : Sea Lily's Bell STRATEGY : Since it's called Key Cavern there will be a ton of keys in this dungeon. You can use the keys on any doors you want and don't worry, you won't be stuck if you use it on the wrong one. There will be a room with a creature that will try to suck you up and make you fall into the hole. The only way to get the key from it and destroy it, is to use the boots. Some of the holes will be to large to jump with the Roc's Feather. Instead use the Roc's Feather and the Pegasus Boots to jump over them. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Animal Village * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Animal Village is located near the Yarna Desert. To get to it you need to go through a tunnel using the Pegasus Boots. Once in the tunnel use the boots to destroy the weird blocks to get to the other side. In this Village there will be a bear near the exit of the village. Talk to him and he'll explain that a Walrus is blocking the entrance to Yarna Desert and head south and left and you'll see a warp. Head north to get to it and use it to warp back to Ukuku Prairie. Now that you know what the warp is use for it'll save you a lot of time heading back and forth. Once your at the warp in Ukuku Prairie head left to go back to Mabe Village. Once your at the entrance head left once more and you should see a couple of boulders covering a house. That house is called Dream Shrine and you'll find out why later. Use the Bracelet and destroy the boulder and enter the Dream Shrine. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Dream Shrine * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Once you in the place Link will go to bed and will be in a dream. He will end up in a place with a bunch of monsters and weird looking blocks. Equip your Pegasus Boots and ram into the monster and the weird looking blocks. Continue ramming until you get into the middle of the room. There will be 2 staircases. #1 will be a chest containing 100 rupees! Once you got it go down and ram into the other weird block to get to the other staircase. Climb and open the chest to receive... and an Ocarina. Head out of the Dream Shrine and go back to Mabe Village once you got the Ocarina. Once your out head south back to Toronbo Shores where you got your Sword. Once your at the place where you get your sword head left and north to find Marin. Talk to her and she'll join you for a while. Head back north to Mabe Village and go back to the entrance to Ukuku Prairie. Head right and go into the warp. You'll warp back to Animal Village. From there head south and right to get where the Walrus is. Marin will sing to wake him up and now you can go into the desert... * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *-* - * - * - * - * - * - * ~ R E L L E ~ * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *-* - * - * - * - * - * - * Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Relle here, and I'll be your guide through the remainder of the game. From the first screen of the desert, go north three times to reach a sand worm miniboss. He fights the same as the bosses for the second dungeon of A Link to the Past, but the kicker here is the shifting sands. Don't get sucked into the center, or you'll fall down below and have to start over. Just whack it with your sword till it gives up the angler key. Follow it down the hole, but before you leave, bomb the north wall for a heart piece! Now that you have the key, pick up any heart pieces and seashells you might've missed, then go back to Tal Tal Heights, specifically to the little dungeon there you rescued Bow-Wow. From there, go one screen north and several east until you find a keyhole stuck in a wall. What an odd place for a keyhole. Use your angler's key and open up the fourth dungeon, but it's not accessible from here. Make sure to go one more screen east to activate another warp before moving on. From the Bow-Wow mini-dungeon again, go one screen north and two east, then north up the ladder into the mountains. Your only way in is through that cave blocked by rocks, so equip the power bracelet and get inside. Take out the enemies and go right to the stairs. There are slimes everywhere, so be careful. Upstairs, go right and dash through the crystal rocks to get to the right exit and the true mountains. One screen right is a cave you can use to get up to that bum sitting there and continue the trading game if you have the pineapple. Otherwise, continue right. The river here is shallow now thanks to you busting up the waterfall. You can't go any further east since you don't have flippers, so instead jump off the cliff and enter the fourth dungeon. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Angler Shrine * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * From the entrance, go north. West is a floating bomb cache and a chest you can't reach. East is blocked currently, so go up the stairs and several screens east and north until you reach a chest with the map! Two rooms east of the starting point of that little excursion is a chest with the stone slab, but we won't need that. On the way to the map you will have passed a room with a pit in the shape of a + sign. Go back there and use the Pegasus Boots and Roc's Feather to jump across and enter the room to the east. Use a bomb on the cracked block and push the solid block to get a small key inside the chest. From here, go north twice. Bomb the cracked block (watch out for the evil fairies) and make your way back to the first room north of the entrance of the dungeon. Kill the monsters here and go east. Do the slaughter thing once again and head south. The chest here contains your third small key. Now go back north and east. Continue going north, past the + pit again, then note the staircase. Ignore it, but remember where it is. Go west, south twice, west twice, and north twice. Ignore the tile puzzle here (you can't solve it yet) and go east. Grab the small key in the chest and go all the way back to the screen one square west of that stairway I told you to remember. Using your new found key, go north once to the miniboss room. This guy is really easy. Just stay in the corners and slash at him when he stops to turn. You can only damage him by hitting his bulbous back, so don't be foolish and fight him head on. Once he's dead, go north. Ah, a pulley puzzle. Equip the bracelet and yank the pulley from the wall. When it's all the way out, run for the west exit. In this room are the flippers! Now deep water is no problem! Go south twice, then east twice to return to those stairs. Go down them and get the key that fell into the deep water. Climb back up and go all the way west, back to that tile puzzle you saw before. Earlier, you couldn't solve it with only the Roc's Feather, but with the flippers, it's no problem. Just try tapping all the tiles and remember the sequence. Eventually you'll get it, and a staircase will appear. Go past the first thwomp and cause the second to fall when you're on its left side so you can ride it to the top. When you reappear in the dungeon proper, go south for a chest with the boss key. Now go north and jump off the unguarded ledge. Go east and north, and down the stairs there. Past the underground portion, go west and north to the boss room. No boss? Probably slacking off. Go down the stairs and beat the crap out of the giant fish. It's really no problem, just slash at the light at the end of its antenna till it's dead. Go back upstairs and claim your instrument. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * To Catfish's Maw! * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Swim three screens east and enter the cave. Dive (press B) and swim around until you pick up a heart piece. Now go back to the entrance of the shrine and go west. Enter the cave and talk to the fish to learn your second song! Once you exit the cave, use it. At about this time you'll be haunted by an annoying little ghost. He wants you to take him to his house. Do so. His house is east of Toronbo Shores, past the rocks that were blocking you previously. Now the little incorporeal bastard wants to be taken to his grave. Sheesh, we have a world to save here! Anyway, his grave is one screen west of the old witch's tree house. Don't forget to dig up the seashell buried in the middle of the shrubbery down in the valley on the way, if you haven't already. Now then, return to the ghost's house for a seashell. It's underneath one of the pots, and no, you couldn't have gotten it without returning the damn ghost to his grave. All right, let's continue. Before we go to the fifth dungeon, we're going to do a little item collecting. From the ghost's house, go east. Jump the gap and go east, then get to the little island for a seashell. If you haven't already, go north and east for a seashell under the bushes. If you explored properly before the third dungeon, you would have it by now. Go south from there to find a staircase protected by bushes and holes. First thing's first, use the Roc's Feather to jump across and slash the bushes before you fall. You'll lose a little life, but it's worth it. Jump across to the open space you made and go down the stairs and through the little tunnel. Go west here, and down more stairs. Here, throw magic powder into the well. Remember the little demon from A Link to the Past who would expand your magic meter? He's here, but this time he doubles your item capacity. There are three such demons, and they will double your magic powder, bomb and arrow carrying capacity. For this one, I would recommend doubling magic powder, because you can buy bombs and arrows for cheap. From here, go north and through the cave, then swim over to the animal village. If you've been following the trading game thus far, you can continue it now. Give the flower to the goat, then take the warp back to Mabe Village and take the letter to Mr. Write (ha-ha), who lives north of the Mysterious Woods. He'll give you the broom, which should be bestowed upon the old woman that used to be sweeping in Mabe Village. The old broad will trade you for a fishing hook, which we're about to use. Warp back to the animal village. From the screen west of the animal village, go south twice, west once, and walk off the bridge. Dive into that spot and talk to the fisherman for your hook to become a necklace! Lucky! Leave, then go north, east and north, then talk to the mermaid. You'll get her scale, and that's all for now. One more item, then we'll go to the fifth dungeon. From the mermaid, hurry back to Kanalet Castle. Go around the east side and go into the river from the south side. Swim around the west side of the castle to one screen west of the drawbridge. Dive and swim around for a heart piece. At this point you should have eight, meaning two extra hearts. Now, swim aaaaaall the way back to the giant catfish you saw earlier. Dive in the square below the three rocks on the west side. Go through the underwater tunnel and into... * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Catfish's Maw * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * West is your only option. Continue in that direction till you find stairs leading down. Once through the tunnel, smash up all the crystal formations and push the blocks so they form a square for a small key. Go back through the tunnel and unlock that previously locked door. From here, go north twice to fight the Stalfos Knight. Beat him by striking at him with your sword, then when he collapses, drop a bomb on him. Repeat this till he leaves. Now head east. That bastard stole our hookshot! Time to chase him down. Go north from here and push the block to go west. Return to that room and push the block to go north. Return one last time, tap the button on the floor and go east. There's that thieving undead jerk! Beat him the same as the last time to make him flee again. Go back west and north twice, then west. Here you need to defeat three slimes, but ones on the other side of the blocks. Lift up one of the pots and walk where it used to be to coax it out from the under the floor and kill it. Go north for a third encounter with the Stalfos Knight. Two more hits will make him run. Go west to find the chest with the map. Instead of walking, use your second ocarina tune to warp to the beginning of the dungeon. West, young gamer, go west. All the way to that staircase from the beginning. Once in the room with the crystal formations, go west once more. This will be your final meeting with Mr. Stalfos. Bomb him to death and claim your hookshot. Go back through the tunnel and east, then north. Go west, north and west in that order. Use your new hookshot to latch onto the far block and avoid the spike traps. Go through the top door and hookshot to the chest to get the small key within. Go back east two screens, then go north by using the hookshot on the coiled up rope bridge on the top right corner of the room. From here, use your new key and open the key block to go west. Here you'll find the real miniboss of the dungeon, twin gohmas. They'll move back and forth and stop occasionally. When they stop and shake, they're going to rush forward and attack you. If they're still, they'll open their eye. At that moment, fire an arrow into their eye. Three arrows to each will win the day. Once you've won, go through the warp to the beginning of the dungeon. Return to where you first fought the Stalfos Knight and go east, north, west and north again. See that pool of deep water? Dive down in the middle of it and swim through the tunnel. Hookshot the bridge and open the chest for the boss key. Go back through the tunnel and return to the room with the X block formation, then go north from there. Jump to the small platform south of the chest on the right side of the room and hookshot to it. Go east and hookshot over to that chest for a small key. Now we can go fight the boss. Directions to the above are as follows: back in the X block room, go south. Go down the stairs in this room and jump through the tunnel. Go east three screens till you reach some stairs. Jump over them and open up the key block. Hookshot over the big pit and go west for the boss door. This particular boss is interesting. His tail will pop out of the center of the room and follow you around. His head will pop out of one of four holes around the room. What you need to do is hookshot the head, then strike at the creature's heart, which is, oddly enough, in his neck. Weird. Watch the tail and keep moving till you have a good opportunity to drag the worm out from its hole, then swing your sword like it's no tomorrow. After a lengthy battle, go claim your instrument. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Southern Face Shrine * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * With the hookshot in hand, it's time to continue item collecting! At this point we're going to complete the trading game and pick up a few things along the way. Here goes. First get out of the catfish's maw the same way you came in. Go south. See the mermaid statue? That's our destination. Get yourself back to the bridge where you got the mermaid's necklace and go one screen south. Hookshot that rock and go north, then west. Examine the mermaid statue and go down the stairs. In this room, be very careful. There are enemies you can't see. Go north for the Magnifying Lens. Go back south and shock! Enemies! With this Lens you'll be able to see various things, but we'll get to that later. Now we're going to fill out our ocarina repertoire. Get to the animal village warp point and go back to the one near Mabe Village. From there, go west and south for two screens. Now you'll have to go through the signpost maze, starting with the signpost south of the pit you'll have to dash-jump over. Bear in mind you have to follow the signposts. Skipping ahead won't work. Note that the signposts are pointing directly to the next one you should read, even when they're on another screen. I won't guide you because it's easy to follow the arrows and you should know how walk around at this point. Once you read the final sign, a staircase will appear. Go down it and fork over 300 rupees to the big frog to learn your third ocarina song. Okay, now we're going shell hunting. If you haven't already, dash against the west or south side of the tree next to the phone booth west and south of the warp point (or north of the signpost maze). Also, if you haven't gone back, go to the screen one west of the Tail Cave and dash against the tree there for another seashell. Finally, go one screen east and north of the Key Cavern and slash the bush from the NORTH side to acquire a third seashell. It's actually possible to get twenty shells the moment you gain the flippers, but it involves a lot of running around and these areas are fairly close to each other. Now then, with these you should have twenty shells now. Go back to the Seashell Mansion and claim your prize: a level 2 sword! This sword is twice as powerful as the first one, plus it will fire a beam when you have full hearts. There are actually more seashells out there, but you can't get anything new from the mansion. We're going to get two more heart pieces now. The first is in the animal village. Warp there and go around the southern end of the village to a cave in the northeast corner. Once inside, jump to the northern ledge and bomb the wall. Go through the passage north, then west. Toss a bomb over the barrier to blow up the cracked rock, then circle around to that end and hookshot over the pit. Take the heart and leave. Take the warp once. Now go north three times. Go east, south, then push the southeastern grave for a staircase. Inside, bomb the cracked rock and use the hookshot and Roc's Feather to get the heart piece. Now go back to the warp and go to the animal village again. Leave via the western entrance. Go north three times, then start heading east. Continue east till you can go south. Now we're in the face shrine. Make your way through the maze, either dodging or blowing up the Armos using bombs. When you reach the shrine itself, use your new sword to beat the crap out of the giant Armos and take the face key. Go north and light up the room with magic powder, then read the wall carving for a shocking revelation. Leave the shrine entirely (after the owl bugs you about stuff) then go west till you see a small island with two Armos on it. Swim there, then activate the Armos on the left to reveal a stairway. Go through the tunnel and go north via the right side to unlock the next dungeon. Go inside. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Face Shrine * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Start out by heading west. Here you'll meet your first wizzrobes. Defeating them is a simple matter. They'll fade in, fire a wave of magic, then fade out. As they're fading out, drop a bomb near them. It will go off just as they materialize and kill them. You can also use arrows, but bombs are faster. Ignore the door that opens when you kill them and go north through the left-hand side. Go north again, then west. Drop a bomb near the switch, then high-tail it to the right exit heading north. As the bomb explodes, it will trap you, but with good reason. Go north and bomb the east wall in the next room. You'll have to kill off the three slimes here to cause a stairway to appear. Go down and through the tunnel, then kill off the mini moldorm and the two wizzrobes to open the door north. In here, take your new power bracelet! Now you can lift the big statues! There's a fairy in the pot to the right, and once you're all healed up, go north. Use the bomb trick to trap yourself in the left exit going north this time, then open the door west with the button underneath a pot. Kill off the wizzrobes for the map, then go north and east to snag the stone slab. Go back and make sure the tiles around the pots are down. If they aren't, go south and hit the switch. Grab a pot and toss it at the door to bust it open. In this room, go east for the compass. Now hit the switch and follow the small path south and around to a room with two wizzrobes. Kill them off for a key. Use your ocarina to warp back to the beginning and go east this time. Follow the linear path till you come to a dead-end. Bomb the north wall to open a path. Here's your official mini-boss. He'll toss a big ball at you, so equip the Power Bracelet and pick it up after he throws it, then hit him with it. Repeat until done. Go north and pick up the left statue to reveal a stairway. Go through the tunnel and wait for the moving tiles to stop attacking for a key to fall. Open the key block and go north. Lift the statue and smash the door with it. In this room, you must get the two rook pieces to stand up straight by throwing them and hoping. Your best bet is to toss them from the same position and in the same direction. Once that's done, go through the newly-opened door and down the stairs. Once through the tunnel, kill the bunnies with Marin's song on your ocarina and go south. Kill off the worms with bombs and go west. Hop off the ledge, then head north for a key. Now go south until you can go west and do so after killing off the wizzrobes. Here's the annoying part: go all the way back through the dungeon till you're back at that ledge where you could hookshot across. Sorry, them's the breaks. Anyway, once you're back there, unlock the key block and go north. The boss key is here, but you must throw a pot at the chest rather than open it normally. Once that's done, go aaaaallll the way back to the room with the moving tiles (the one where they were covering pits, not the one near the entrance to the dungeon) and go south. Here, you'll have to get all the slimes to pop out while avoiding being sucked into the pit. A good way of killing the vacuum is to charge up a spin slash and leap at it, then release the spin in midair. Once that's over with, go east. Kill off the wizzrobe (best to just whack it into the pit with your sword) and go north, then into the boss room. To defeat the face, you must use bombs. Much like the wizzrobes, you can only hurt him when the face is actually present. Fortunately, you don't need so much timing for this. In fact, it's actually rather easy. Once the pots and floor tiles are gone, the face will open up holes randomly around the room. Fortunately, only one hole opens up at a time, so you have a very low chance of falling in. You can actually just stand on the face and drop bombs, and you'll win without ever falling. Once you're done, go up and take the next instrument. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Journey to Level 7 * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * We're off to the mountains this time! Use the second song once you're out of the dungeon and head back to Mabe Village. You know that weather vane in the center of town? Equip the level 2 bracelet and push it to reveal a staircase. Down here is the skeleton of an old rooster. Play your third ocarina song to revive it, and you'll have yourself a flying friend! You can equip the bracelet to pick it up and it will fly you around various areas, including over pits and chasms! Leave town and take the warp to Tal Tal Heights. We're going mountain climbing. Go up into the mountains through the caves and such, then go east till you find a flooded part of the mountains with a tall stairway. Go up, then west twice and into the nearby cave. Go west, then north and use your rooster friend to go over the gap and west to the key! Now we just have to get to the dungeon. Leave via a pit, which will dump you out into a pool of water. Go east, then through the cave you see. Follow the network of caves (it's quite linear, so you shouldn't get lost) until you get to the top of the eastern mountains. Here, go west and unlock the tower. Let's get moving. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Eagle's Tower * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * This level's a pain because you have to drag a giant ball around everywhere. Plus it's fairly complicated if you don't know what you're doing. So here's what to do. From the entrance, go east twice and kill the like-likes. Use that key to go through the locked door and upstairs. Right there you'll see the dungeon's treasure, the mirror shield, but you won't be able to get it thanks to that stupid switch. Go north instead. Equip the bracelet and observe the annoying exercise they've constructed for you. Pick up the ball and toss it against the closing blocks. Tug on the opening device, then run, pick up the ball and go west. Here's some stats about the stupid ball: it can be used to kill enemies, but if it falls down a pit, it'll return to where you first found it, so be very careful. However, it will stay where it's thrown as long as it stays on this floor. Now then, in this new room, throw the ball at the pillar. DO NOT throw it from the south side, or it may bounce back and fall down the hole. Pick it up again and throw it past the raised blocks. Go north now and toss around the rooks until the chest with the map pops up. In the previous room, jump over the pit and exit to the south. Go back around and grab the ball, then take it to the south room. Pop it on the pillar and go south, then hit the switch there. Go back north and take the ball one screen north, then one screen west. Get it past the spike bed and take it around to the same room through the leftmost exit in the north room with the card monsters. Toss it across the barrier, and now we're going to go get it. Go back and destroy the card suit monsters for the compass, then go south and east. Drop down the pit via the southwestern most square. You should land on top of the raised blocks. Walk along them west, then south until you find stairs leading up. In this room, go through the one-way door, wait for the moving tiles to go away for the door east to open, and go through. Ah, remember this room? Knock down the pillar and take the ball to the east, then south twice to the room with the switch. Toss the ball over the barrier go back north. In this room, fall through the pit on the left side of the room so you land on the raised blocks below. Follow them west, north, then west and south to the stairs again. Back here, go south and beat up the ogre for a small key. Go east twice to the switch room. Hit it so the raised blocks are lowered, then toss a bomb over to it and quickly run to the raised blocks so you can continue east. In the next room, go north and pick up the mirror shield. Yay! Now go back south and west via the ladder in the northwest corner. Go off the ledge and take the ball one room west. Toss it away and kill the card suits to make a chest appear. Throw the ball across the gap and barriers, then go west and north twice. Wait for the flying tiles to wear themselves thin and go east. Place a bomb between the torches on the wall to go south. Hookshot the chest (it's got more bombs) and take the ball north to the last pillar. Smash it. Did anyone else feel that? Anyway, you're done with the stupid ball, so leave it. Make your way back to the switch room on this floor and go up the stairs there. Now on the third floor, go north and east. Here's the mini-boss. What you have to do is kill all the little bats before they fly off, which is no mean feat since they appear in various? formations and fly at you randomly. Just keep trying and eventually you'll get it. North from here is the boss key. Push the two blocks together to make it appear. Make sure to hit the switch before you leave. Go back south and west twice. Go through the boss door, then hookshot over to the raised ledge and go east. Climb up the stairs, then up the ladder for the final boss. Make sure to equip your mirror shield for this fight. Here's how you win: the eagle will swoop back and forth across the screen at varying heights. At times he'll be in range for a sword slash, so be on guard. He'll also swoop in and beat his wings so hard the air current will gradually push you back. Not only that, but razor feathers will fly at you and knock you off the tower. To avoid this, run toward the big bird with your shield raised. Try to stay in the center of the tower when the eagle is off the screen so you have a better chance of staying on top. If you're knocked off, you'll have to start the battle over with the eagle at full health! Persistence is the key here, so let that oversized pigeon have it! Once you win, go back inside the tower and drop down to the right to get your instrument. Only one left! * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * On To the Final Dungeon! * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * You need to get back to the beginning of the mountains. At this point it'll be quicker to just use the second ocarina song and walk back. Go back up the large staircase in the flooded part of the mountains and head to the northwest. Go west across the bridge to find...Marin! Hookshot over to save her, then when all the talking is done, go west. Slash the bushes to reveal some stairs and go down. Now, in this first room, bomb the southern indented wall to open up a passage. Go south and east for a heart piece! One more left! Now go back to that first room and go west. Hop down and take the stairs, then go west and hookshot over the gap. The exit for this tunnel is west. Once you're outside, you'll be assaulted by falling rocks and other monsters. Get up to the top while avoiding the rocks. Once you're on a screen with a chest, lift up the rock for a staircase. Go down and puff some magic powder into the well to have your bomb or arrow capacity doubled. Take your pick and then continue on. Go west and fall off the ledge, then bomb the cracked wall. Inside you'll find a flamethrower that can only be bypassed if you have the mirror shield. Equip it and rush against the flames till you're able to move aside to the stairs. Once outside, follow the path west and south till you find a giant stone turtle. Play your third ocarina song to bring it to life! The turtle will move its head back and forth, and occasionally shoot its head at you. With a level 2 sword, it's easily dispatched. Go inside. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Turtle Rock * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * This level is annoying in multiple ways. It's more wide open than the previous dungeons, so it's easier to get lost. It's the final dungeon, after all. Let's go. Be careful of the lava, it acts as a bottomless pit. Go north twice from the entrance, then east. See that flashing stone? Push it. It will clear out the lava and can be controlled with the D-pad. Clear a path to the west in the middle of those blocks. Follow it and push the blocks protecting the chest for the map. Bomb the cracked wall and go north, then west to a staircase. Once through the tunnel, kill all the snakes and go north. Remember the mini-boss of the sixth dungeon? He's back. Hit him four times with that dumb ball to kill him. From here, go west. The flashing block will also cover up those pits, and your goal here is to remove them all from the room. I won't give directions because it's almost impossible to follow them and keep the block moving properly at the same time. Just keep practicing until you get it. Your reward for all this is the always-helpful small key. Before you do anything else, bomb the north wall and go through. Bomb the west wall and hit the switch there once. Use your ocarina to warp back to the beginning. Go north and kill that annoying devil with arrows. Go west and kill the snakes, then north and slay the ogre. West again will take you to another flashing block, which you should use to erase the pits. Go south and west to a familiar mini-boss from the first dungeon. When it's dead, go south for the compass. Be careful of the vacuum in the southeast corner. Once the compass is gotten, go north twice and kill off the devil to make a small key appear. Either warp or walk back to the beginning of the dungeon. Go back to the first flashing block you saw and make it move so you can push the block away from the second exit north from the right. I think this needs some ASCII. _ _ _ |_|_|_|x|_| |_| |_| At the top of this room you'll see this formation of blocks. You want to go where the X is. From there, go north and through the key block, then go east and through the locked door. Take the one-way door north and take note of the design on the floor. Bomb the west wall for a secret passage. Don't go there yet, though. Instead, kill off the slimes and head north. Kill off the two gibdos on the cracked floor for a small key, then go west. Avoid the two worms and go west twice. Go up the stairs here to end up outside and just below the final heart piece! Walk east to get to the final warp portal, then east once more and re-enter the dungeon. Toss bombs down and kill the two worms to make a chest with a small key appear. After that, go east, off the ledge, south and west through that blasted-open secret passage you made. The next few rooms will be dark, but if you pause the game, you'll be able to see where you are without wasting magic powder. In the third dark room, bomb the west and south walls, but go west. Ah, glorious light! Shoot the one-eyed statue with an arrow to pop a small key out of the ceiling. Go south for some item pickups and west to continue. Push the blocks out of the way of the chest to get to the small key within. Go back east two rooms and go up the stairs in the upper right corner, through a key block. East from here you'll be able to get to the key block in the south part of the room. Unlock it and go through the tunnel below. On the other side, prepare to fight the most annoying mini-boss of all time. It's a little boxing guy who has the ability to punch you all the way back to the beginning of the dungeon. Yeah, he's a bastard. You can't hit him through his gloves, so come at him from the top, bottom or behind. That sounded more dirty than I intended... Anyway, he'll only send you back to the beginning with an uppercut, which is choreographed ahead of time by him rearing back and waving his fist in a circle. Just avoid him then and you'll be fine. Once you've won, go north via the door that just opened up and claim your prize: the oh so powerful magic rod! Now we're after the boss key. Go back to the beginning of the dungeon, then go north, west, north, west and north once more. Here, use the magic rod to light the torches and cause a chest with a small key to appear. Warp back to the beginning of the dungeon and go to the first flashing block you encountered. Make it go up and to the right so you can access the stairs here. Go through the tunnel (use the magic rod to burn away the ice) and go through the locked door once you come out the other side. Here, kill the fourth dungeons mini-boss and head north. Here will be the final flashing block puzzle. Fill in the pits (hint: fill in the two northern most lines first) for the boss key. To the boss! Once more warp back to the beginning. Go back to the first flashing block. This time wipe out the lava so you can go east. Take the stairs here and go through the tunnel. A brief hint: make sure you have some ice left to stand on so you can use it to jump to the exit. Once you get to the other side, the boss will be waiting for you. This boss is surprisingly easy with the magic rod. Just pick a spot and shoot fireballs at him when he jumps out of the lava. Be very careful of the embers he'll cause when he leaps out and falls in, though, because they'll cause a lot of damage. The biggest challenge here is staying alive rather than doing damage. Once you win, go up and take your final instrument. * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Let's Destroy the World! * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * Now that you have the eight instruments, it's time to fight the true final boss of the game. First off, go back to Mabe Village (warp there, of course). Go to the southeast most screen of Toronbo Shores (not where you found Marin, one screen west of that). Bomb the cracked wall here. Make sure your shovel is assigned to your B button before you come in. Go inside and talk to the moblin here to trade the shovel for the boomerang. Now go back to Mabe Village and enter the library. Read the rightmost book on the lower row, and write down the arrow directions. They're randomly generated every time you start the game, so I can't give you set directions. Okay, you ready to beat the game? Gotten all the heart pieces, twenty seashells and your level 2 sword? Okay. Let's do it. Use the second ocarina song. Go west, north, east, north, then east and north twice. This is the Wind Fish's egg. Walk up to it and play Marin's song. The eight instruments will appear and bust open the egg. Go inside. Right away it'll be dark. Go north until you fall down and it's bright again. Now follow the directions you got from the book of secrets. If you get lost, just go south till you're outside the egg. If you make a wrong turn, just start over. Once you've followed the correct path, jump down into the heart of the egg. Let's rumble! The strategies to defeat the Nightmares are listed in the boss section, but I'm nothing if not thorough...as long as I want to be. Anyway, for the first form you'll need magic powder. Three shots when the shadow is bouncing around will beat it. Second form, use your sword to reflect the magic shots back at the Nightmare. There are some shots that can't be reflected, so either avoid or jump over these. Four hits will let you move on. The next form will be the damn Moldorm again. Beat it up as per usual. The next shape is...Ganon?! You can only hurt this guy by doing a spin slash. He will toss out fireballs, throw around his double axe, and generally be a nuisance. After he croaks, a simple worm will wander around. Slash it once to reveal the final form of the Nightmare. There are two ways of beating this thing. You can either shoot it in the eye with arrows when it's open and use the Roc's Feather to jump over its highly damaging arms. Or, if you got the boomerang like I said, just throw it at him once to win. Your choice. Either way, once this guy dies, you've won. Congratulations, and enjoy the ending. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ___________________________________________________ B O S S G U I D E ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |ID: #ZLAB| ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ In this section you'll find out everything about the bosses. I will also list there difficulty, strategy, location as well as other information. Here's how I'm going To put everything in: Legend: Boss Name: Location: Difficulty: 1-5 Require Weapons: Hits: (how many hit will it take to take it down) Instrument Earn: Strategy: Note: (sometime) ___________________________________________________________________________ Moldrom Location : Tail Cave (Level 1) Difficulty : 1 Require Weapons : Sword , Shield Hits : 2-4 Instrument Earn : Full Moon Cello Strategy: This is your first boss! But don't worry he's pretty easy. Once the battle begins don't even bother hitting its head or body part. What you want to go for is the tail. That's right, the tail is the weak spot. Once you hit it on the tail it will begin to go faster! That's where the shield comes in. Just use the shield once he comes after you and wait until it slows down and then you can start hitting its tail again. But the thing to be careful about is the holes. Once he speed up he won't hurt you if you are using the shield but he can also push you down. If you fall down you'll lose 1 heart so watch out! ___________________________________________________________________________ Genie Location : Bottle Grotto (Level 2) Difficulty : 2 Require Weapons : Sword , Bracelet , and Roc’s Feather Hits : 3-5 Instruments Earn : Conch Horn Strategy: This guy can be impossible or he can be the easiest boss you'll ever face. Once the battle start Genie will hide in his bottle. Don't even bother hitting it with the sword because he's perfectly safe in there. What you want to do is use the Bracelet to carry him up. After you carry him up throw him against the wall to get him out. Once he come out you can start hitting him with your sword. But after a hit or so he'll start throwing Fireballs!!! Here's where the Roc's Feather comes into play. Just equip it and start jumping around to dodge the Fireballs or if you didn't equip it in time just run around the room as fast as you can. Once you hit him about 2-3 times, he'll start getting mad. Here the problem. He will make more of himself to come after you. He'll start floating around the room and he will regroup together. Watch out!! After he gets together he will automatically throw a Fireball at you. Just use the same strategy as before and he'll go down in no time. ___________________________________________________________________________ Slime Eye Location : Key Cavern (Level 3) Difficulty : 2 Require Weapons : Sword, Pegasus Boots Hits : 4-9 times Instrument Earn : Sea Lily's Bell Strategy: Huh, where did the boss go? Once you first enter the room you will not see him yet. Where is he? Well he's hiding on the roof. Use your Pegasus Boots and ram into the wall to get him down. Now here's the fight begins. In this battle you cannot hurt him with the sword until he's weaker. To make him weaker use the boots and ram into the eye. Keep on ramming and after a while he'll split into 2 eyes. Now is when you need the sword. Select a eye and go after it. Just keep whacking away with the sword until it's gone. But wait, suddenly the eye will climb up onto the ceiling! Don't bother using the boots again yet. One you see a shadow, that means he's about to go down! Get out of the way as fast as you can or else you'll end up squish. Just use the same strategy over again and you'll end up the winner... ___________________________________________________________________________ Angler Location : Angler Tunnel (Level 4) Difficulty : 3 Require Weapons : Flippers, Sword Hits : 6-12 times Instrument Earn : Surf Harp Strategy: This is one of the hardest boss you will fight so far. Once you enter the room, jump in the water and the boss will show up. As you may already see the boss is a giant fish. That doesn't mean he'll be fighting alone... Once the battle start, go up to him and start hitting him right away! He will then get mad and sent some mini-Angler against you. Try to dodge it by swimming around. Just until you though it can't get any worsted rocks begin to fall and will hit you. But wait that's not all that he can do to you. Sometime once he gets mad he will come charging after you to hurt you! Be careful on this battle and try to dodge as many attack as possible and you'll come out alive. ___________________________________________________________________________ Slime Eel Location : Catfish Maw (Level 5) Difficulty : 8 Require Weapons : Hookshot, Sword Hits : 6-12 times Instrument Earn : Wind Marimba Strategy: This is definitely one of the hardest boss you've face so far! This guy got a couple of nasty attacks that will knock you down silly. Okay, finally I figure out an easy strategy for him. Once the battle begin watch out! Don't come in the room yet! Why? He will punch a hole in the middle of the room, causing you to fall down. But that's not all yet. He will also punch a hole in the walls to hurt you. Told you this guy got some pretty mean and killer attacks. Don't even bother hitting him with the sword on the head. He's pretty much invincible if you don't know how to hurt him. Once you see him use hookshot to pull him out. Then you can start pounding away with the sword. Just keep using the same strategy and watch your hearts and you'll do fine. Note: If you can't seem to beat this guy, before you go fight him head on over to Crazy Tracy and buy a potion to help. ___________________________________________________________________________ Facade Location : Face Shrine (Level 6) Difficulty : 5 Require Weapons : Bombs, Power Bracelet, Shield, Sword Hits : 5 (with bombs) Instrument Earn : Coral Triangle Strategy: Enter the room and you'll see...What there nobody here is! Use your Bracelet and to break the pots to make him show . To defeat Facade, first dodge the tiles that fly around the room trying to hit you, I suggest going to the corner of the room and just break them when they get near. Use your sword or shield to break them up. Now you will see black holes appear on the floor, Just ignore them and get on his face to drop bombs on his face. Don't worry being on top of him will not hurt you. If he flashes you are hurting him. After you've hit him with about five bombs, Facade will be defeated. ___________________________________________________________________________ Evil Eagle Location : Eagle's Tower (Level 7) Difficulty : 6.5 Require Weapons : Hookshot, Mirror Shield Hits : 6 (with Hookshot) Instrument Earn : Organ of Evening Calm Strategy: This is a pretty tough battle. When you enter the arena go to the center of the field tower. If you fall you will have to start over again. So do your best to stay in the center at all times. To defeat Evil Eagle, use the Mirror Shield to block his feather attack when he uses it. When Evil Eagle is flying by you, you must use your hookshot to hit him. Now, if he stops flying and is just hovering get to the center of the tower, Hold out your shield and prey you don't fall off the tower. Also when he flaps the feathers can hurt you. Now do this over again. After six hits with a hookshot he is dead. Now be careful not to get hit to many times by him. He can deal up to 3hearts an attack on you. ___________________________________________________________________________ Hot Head Location : Face Shrine (Level 8) Difficulty : 8.5 Require Weapons : Magic Rod, Roc's Feather Hits : 12 (with Magic Rod) Instrument Earn : Thunder Drum Strategy: Before Fighting this guy bring some potions with you. This is not and easy fight. Now, as soon as Hot Head jumps out of the lava hit him as fast as you can with the Magic Rod. Don't stop attacking. If he goes into the Lava he will heal himself. So attack Rapidly! If he does go into the lava be careful of splashes of lava. This will take four hearts from you. Also do not try to block lava with your shield. It will not work. If he jumps over you he will not hurt you. Once you hit him so many times his Lava Shell will break off. After this you only have to hit him a few more times to kill him off. ___________________________________________________________________________ Final Nightmare Location : Wind Fish Egg Strategy : For this battle bring potion cause you will need them. This level has six mini bosses that you fight one after another. I will tell you how to defeat them down below. Blob Location : Wind Fish Egg Difficulty : 2 Weapons Needed : Magic Powder Magic Powder : 3 hits Instrument Earn : N/A Strategy: Before you enter have your magic powder equipped. Giant Blob will be bouncing around the room. All you have to do is walk up to him and put the power on him. Easy as cake. Agahnim Location : Wind Fish Egg Difficulty : 3 Items Needed : Sword, Roc's Feather Magic hit back at Agahnim : 4 hits Instrument Earn : N/A Strategy: When you enter the room go to the other side of the room he is on and face him. When he charges up a energy ball you hit it with your sword and it will hit him if you aim it right. Sometimes he throws different spells and you'll have to jump out of the way so you don't get hurt. Moldorm Location : Wind Fish Egg Difficulty : 3 Items Needed : Sword, Shield Hits : 7-14 Instrument Earn : N/A Strategy: This is the same boss from Tail Cave (Level 1). Kill him the same way by attacking his tail. Just take more hits to kill him. He still speeds up when you hit him. If you let him slow down you will have to start over. If he is charging at you use you shield to block him. Ganon Location : Wind Fish Egg Difficulty : 2 Items Needed : Pegasus Boots, Sword, Shield Hits : ??? Instrument Earn : N/A Strategy: Sorry I couldn't figure out the hits for this guy. But if you know the exact one I'll be happy to give you credit for it and I'll even add it to the FAQ. Alright now for the strategy. If you can remember Ganon is from Zelda Ocarina of Time and the other in the series he's Link worst foe. But not in this game. Simply equip and use the boots with the sword to hurt him. Watch out for the bats though. Once they come you can block them with the shield. After the bats are gone continue hurting him. Lanmola Location : Wind Fish Egg Difficulty : 1 Items Needed : Magic Rod Hits : 1-15 Instrument Earn : N/A Strategy: You can either do this the cheap way or the hard way. To defeat him really fast once the battle start quickly use the Magic Rod and he'll go down with 1 hit! or if you want to do it the hard way use your hookshot or boomerang. Delth Location : Wind Fish Egg Difficulty : 5 Items Needed : Arrows, Boomerang, and Roc’s Feather Hits : 1-??? Instrument Earn : N/A ___________________________________________________________________________ Strategy: This is it your final battle! Just like Lanmola there is a cheap way to beat him. But come one you want to give him your best this time not the cheap way. To do the cheap way simply hit once with your boomerang and you'll win. But for those who wants to see what he go, equip the arrows and the Roc's Feather and get ready. Once the battle start out of nowhere he'll start whacking you with his tentacles. That's where the Roc's Feather will come in. Use it to jump away from the tentacles and wait until he open his eye. The only way to damage him is to hit him in the eye. I hope you pack a lot of arrows for it'll take a while to take him down. Once the eye is open try to shoot as many arrows in it as you can, before he close it. As you hurt him more he will get mad and start going faster! Now that's he's going faster you must jump and shoot him quick! If you start to get low of hearts don't worry about nothing if you still have the potion. But if you don't I suggest using the boomerang before you die. It'll take a while for him to go down with arrows but it's all worth it at the end... #################### Boss List #################### Check the boss list to find out what boss are you going to fight next! ______________________________________________ |Boss: | Location: | |-----------------------+----------------------| |Moldorm | Tail Cave | |-----------------------+----------------------| |Genie | Bottle Grotto| | |-----------------------+----------------------| |Slime Eye | Kay Cavern | |-----------------------+----------------------| |Angler's Fish | Angler's Tunnel | |-----------------------+----------------------| |Slime Eel | Catfish's Maw | |-----------------------+----------------------| |Facade | Face Shrine | |-----------------------+----------------------| |Evil Eagle | Eagle's Tower | |-----------------------+----------------------| |Hot Head | Turtle Rock | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ________________________________________ |Nitemares: | Location: | |-------------+--------------------------| |Blob | Inside the Wind Fish Egg | |-------------+--------------------------| |Agahnim | Inside the Wind Fish Egg | |-------------+--------------------------| |Moldorm | Inside the Wind Fish Egg | |-------------+--------------------------| |Ganon | Inside the Wind Fish Egg | |-------------+--------------------------| |Lanmola | Inside the Wind Fish Egg | |-------------+--------------------------| |Delth | Inside the Wind Fish Egg | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ___________________________________________________ B E S T I A R Y ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |ID: #ZLAE| ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This section was created by the DaOnlineGamer43.
