Walkthrough Round 1: Planet Flora The word flora means plant life, and this level is full of it. Flora is very easy, and pefect for beginners. It introduces obstacles such as using flying enemys to cross large gaps. Flora is also very fun. RD1-1: Hit the orb and head right. Grab the handles on the wall, and move upwards to climb. At the top, hit another orb. Climb some more, head right, and hit the rabbit that comes out of the bush. Grab the handles above, and move right. Watch out for the orb moving vertically. On the other side, grab the pole to the right to get to the other side, then diagonally grab the same pole again and again until you can grab the handles on the top left. On the top, jump over the spikes, and jump on the small platforms on the left until you come to a treasure chest. Hit it to receive a jewel. Grab it and head right. Once you get to the poles, keep swinging from them until you get high enough to get the treasure on the top right. You'll get another jewel. Drop down to the left, and hit the bird. You'll come to a wall with some vines sticking out. Reach inside the small hole to get an extra life. Grab the vines above you, walk past the bush and hit another rabbit. Drop down, and grab on to the big dust specks. They'll carry you to the top. Once there, you'll find another treasure chest that'll give you some of your health back if you lost some. Avoid the spikes and grab the pole, and then grab the other poles without falling. Get the jewel inside the chest, then grab the wall to the left. You'll bounce back. Immediately grab it again and again until you grab some handles. At the top, kill the orb and jump over the spikes. You'll come to another treasure chest with another jewel in it. Head right again until you come to a yellow circular thing with a handle sticking out. Grab the handle (don't let go) and hold the control stick in the direction you're facing. Hold it until you see blue stars, and then time it right and let go. If you did it correctly, you'll send Ristar into the air. These yellow, circular things that send you into the air are called star handles. Fly in a northeast direction, and hopefully you'll land on a small platform. Jump right, and you'll land on another platform with a pole on it. Grab on the pole and head right, and you'll land on another platform. You'll find another star handle to the right of you, except this one is shaped differently. If you grab on to its handle, you'll automatically fly upward. You'll be sent to the first bonus stage of the game. RD1-1 Bonus Area: Simple. Grab on the star handle, do what you did on the last spinner, fly above at a slight angle and land on the platform above. Grab the chest, and you'll receive your first treasure. Grab it to end the bonus stage. When back in the regular stage, fall down directly, and you'll land on a small piece of land with a horizontal vine below it. Pull downwards on the control stick to go below ground. Head right to come to your first mini boss. Mini Boss: Snake In The Grass You'll be trapped in a room with nine holes in it. A snake will come out of the lower middle hole. It will travel from hole to hole. When it travels from hole to hole, quickly hit it. Do this three times. Go to the top of the room to find a treasure chest. It will contain a star. Grab it to get back some of your health if you lost some. Head to the bottom right of the room to get out of it. Grab the vine above you to above ground. Head right and you'll come to another star handle with a new shape. Grab it, fly as high as you can and travel off the right of the screen. The higher you get, the more points you receive. You've completed the first stage! RD1-2: Dark Woods The purple lizard to the right will jump when you get close. When he does, hit him. Up ahead is a tree with branches. Get rid of the swinging orb, and grab the branches on the tree. Climb the handles to the right, and hit another lizard. After you climb another tree, you'll see black bird. Grab the bird, but don't hit it. It will carry you to a platform. Let go and get the treasure. It's another jewel. Head right, and you'll see a small tree blocking the path. Hit it two times to knock it down. Get rid of the orbs, and you'll see an orb rotating in a circular motion. Hit it when the time is right. Grab the handles above, and move to the right. Get the star inside of the treasure chest, then drop down the hole that you just climbed over. You'll find another star handle. Use it to launch yourself above the platform with the handles. Get the treasure, kill the bird, and head right. The treasure is an extra life. You'll find another small tree blocking the path. Knock it down like last time. Instead of heading right, grab the horizontal vine to the left of you to drop down. Use the handles on the tree to cross the spikes. Head right, defeat the circular moving orb, get the treasure, and knock down the third tree. Kill the upcoming lizard, climb another tree, head right, and climb yet another tree. You'll find another black bird. Grab it, (don't hit it) to have it carry you to a platform to the right. Take a ride on another bird to have it carry you to another platform. Get the treasure, kill the bird, and grab the star handle to have it launch you to the second bonus stage of the game. RD1-2 Bonus Area: Easy again. First grab the pole to the right, then grab the one above you. Next, you'll have to grab the pole to the left, and then immediately grab the one above before you fall. Grab another pole to the right, grab it again, then immediately grab the one above you again. Grab one last pole to get the treasure. This should give you a continue. Go right, drop down, head right again, and then everything will go dark. From here, head right, climb another tree, and keep heading right killing all the enemies, until you come to another star handle. Once again, use it to launch high enough before traveling off the screen to the right. Prepare to meet your first boss. Boss Arena: Riho is Coming Head all the way right, until everything brightens up. Riho will appear, and a green orb will land on his back. This orb will make Riho evil. He has two attacks, one using small tornado-like things to trap you, so the orb can jump off and hit you. The other is making light blue x's to fall from the sky. The strategy is to hit Riho three times to knock the orb off his back. Hit the orb when it gets knocked down. Do this three times. After this, grab the star handle that appears in the middle of the screen to launch Ristar out of planet Flora. You beat the first level! Round 2: Planet Undertow An undertow is an underwater current, and this planet is covered in water. Undertow is fairly easy, but you'll face a few challenges along the way. The new enemies are surprisingly harder, but you shouldn't have much trouble with the level. RD2-1: When you drop down, move all the way right until you can't go any further. Looks like there's no way to move on, but hit the wall to make a whole flood of water. Don't head right yet, head left, jump on top of the platform to find the star handle that transports you to the third bonus stage. RD2-1 Bonus Area: The treasure seems easy to get, just swim down to the lower right hand corner. Although when you open the treasure chest, the treasure will float away. The object is to catch it before time runs out. You can just stay there and wait for the treasure to come to you. Swim to the right, jump on top of another platform, and keep heading right and easily avoid the jumping fish. Go back down to the water, and avoid the rock- tossing orbs. Once you get past them, swim downwards deep into the water. You'll find a treasure chest with a star in it. Grab it if you need it, then head right, avoiding the jelly fish and the crab. Swim upwards, jump out of the water, then jump back in to the right. The water will start to rise and lower. Hit the eel that's chasing you. Below, swim through the passage with the jelly fish in it, wait for the water to rise up, then get the treasure on top of the castle structure. Swim all the way right, wait for the water to rise up again, then jump over the tower. Swim to the bottom, avoid the spikes, then swim upwards and jump on the ground. Drop down, staying all the way to the left to avoid the spikes, get the treasure, then head right once more to face the mini boss. Mini Boss: Enemy Wave Simple. A wave will rise up three times, each time carrying three of one enemy. Avoid the enemies and their attacks until the wave brings them down to the ground. That's your chance to hit them. Afterwards, grab the star handle to the right, and use it to launch yourself high up before traveling off the screen once again. RD2-2: Lost Palace Swim to the right, until you come to ground. Once there, wait for some bubbles to rise up. Jump from bubble to bubble, until you get to another treasure chest with another life in it. Afterwards, jump back in to the water and travel to the lower right hand corner to find another circular blue thing creating sea horses. Hit the thing and then travel through the small tunnel. You'll be trapped inside a room. Head right, avoiding the sea horses, and kill another blue circle. Afterwards, head left. You'll be trapped in another room with four treasure chests in it. Three chests will contain a sea horse, and one will contain a star. Get the treasure chest with a star in it, although you won't know which one it's in. Head back right, then head upwards to get trapped in another room. Kill the two seahorses in it, then travel to the upper right hand corner. In the next room, grab the handles on the right wall, then kill the blue circle in the air. Drop down the hole nearest to you, to get into yet another room. Kill the three hermit crabs, to find a giant hermit crab. Hit it three times while avoiding the spikes it shoots out. Grab the prizes if you want, then head to the lower left hand corner to find a hole. Arrive in another room, then keep swimming the the right, grabbing on to the handles when there's a water current. When you get all the way to the right, destroy the perpetual machine, then head upwards. Destroy all the seahorses in the air, then travel through the upper right hand corner. Hit the blue circle under water, then hit the one in the upper right hand corner. Travel downwards into a tunnel to arrive in another room. Kill the three hermit crabs, then kill the giant one below. Travel upwards, then open the treasure chest with the star. Travel downwards, then do the same maneuver with the handles in the current. Kill three hermit crabs, then kill the last giant one. Head upwards, jump on to the ground to the left, then jump from bubble to bubble until you get to the platform with the spinner that transports you to the bonus stage. RD2-2 Bonus Area: This one is fairly hard. There are two ways to complete it. The easy way is to grab on to one of the star handles and launch up to the platform on the upper left hand corner. The hard way is to grab each star handle one by one until you get to the same platform. I prefer the easy way, but you choose. Good luck. Drop down to the water and head right. You'll find the ending star handle. Once again, fly as high as you can before traveling off screen. Boss Arena: Ohsat Attack Head right until Ohsat appears in the background. Ohsat has many attacks. He charges at you, makes rocks fall, and leaves behind bombs and fish. When Ohsat charges at you, quickly hit him before he disappears. Hit him five times to complete level two. Round 3: Planet Scorch Planet Scorch is one of my favorite planets, and hopefully you know what the word means. Scorch is fairly easy, but watch out for booby traps in stage one. After traveling through Undertow, Scorch should be no problem. RD3-1: Immediately head right, unless you like pain. When you come to a green contraption, pull down on the control stick to drop. Hit the lever to destroy the contraption. Climb the handles, then open the treasure chest. You'll get a tiny Ristar statue. Throw the statue on the glowing floor tiles. A booby trap will fall down. Hit it, then kill the orb. Retrieve your Ristar statue, then throw it on the next set of glowing tiles. When the fire stops, hit the cage, and immediately move right, leaving the Ristar statue behind. When you see a vulture, quickly grab the metal pole above, then hit the vulture. Climb the handles, then get another Ristar statue. Immediately drop it and grab on to the handles above. Lava will rise then lower. When it lowers, quickly grab the Ristar statue and throw it on the glowing tiles to the right. Hit the cage that falls, then move right and grab the handles when the lava rises again. At the far right, drop the statue you're holding, get the treasure, then keep crossing the fire pits with the handles. When you get to the third pit, you'll see a spin booster. Grab on to it, then launch yourself upward. Grab on to the metal poles until you come to the star handle that transports you to the bonus stage. RD3-1 Bonus Area: Once you get used to it, this is really easy. Grab the handles above the spikes, then grab the handles on the right. Move upwards, then grab the handles on the far left. Keep grabbing the ceiling handles until you come to a drop. Grab some more handles downwards, until you get to the treasure. Drop down, and hopefully you won't land in a fire pit. Move right, jump over the green contraption when the time is right, then grab the pole above. Get the treasure if you want, avoid the falling flaming rocks, and avoid the glowing tiles. Keep grabbing the poles blocking your way, get another treasure, then use the poles to drop down, hitting the green orbs. You'll come to an area with six holes in it. Time for the mini boss. Mini Boss: Orb Memory Game A pair of eyes will peep through a certain amount of holes. When orbs appear, hit them in the same order that the eyes peeked through. You'd have to be someone with a good memory to complete this mini boss. If you get it right, you'll get a prize. If you get it wrong, you'll get burned by lava. Your first prize is a jewel, your second is a star, and your last is an extra life. Afterwards, you'll find the ending star handle. RD3-2: Under Factory Use the star handle to fly upwards, then when you come to a flaming orb, drop down by grabbing the silver pole, then use the star handle to launch back up when the time is right. Get the treasure, then use the turquoise platform to drop down. Grab the star handle, then grab the pole to get to the other side. Use it to jump over the flaming orb, then grab another star handle below. Use it to fly to the upper left hand corner of the entire area. That's where you'll find the bonus stage star handle. RD3-2 Bonus Area: Very simple. Use the star handles to launch yourself across the spikes. Grab on to another spin booster when you stop flying. Keep doing this until you get to the treasure. Drop all the way down, then use the star handle to fly up on to the platform lowest to you. Grab the flying enemy when it's close to the right wall (don't hit it) and swing on it to get to the platform above. If you can't, just grab the pole below to drop down. Grab the handles, and then grab another pole below. An orb will activate dynamite. IMMEDIATELY grab the handles to the left. Climb upwards, avoiding the blue flame, then use the turquoise platform to drop down. When you're all the way down, grab the rope to the right, and move upwards to climb up. Keep doing this with all the turquoise platforms until you get to the far right. Grab the pole above, then drop down the pole to the right. Immediately grab the star handle and launch up to the pole to the right. Jump over the flaming orb if you can, grab the treasure, drop down, then immediately go to the right metal platform. Drop down, head to the right, grab the handles above, and keep heading right until you come to the end star handle. Boss Arena: Adahan Fall Go right, avoiding the falling rocks, until the boss music plays. Adahan will jump out of the ground. He'll perform one of three attacks. He will stay in the air and shoot his fists at you, so grab on to a fist and let it carry you high enough to hit Adahan. He'll also drop onto the ground and shoot his fists at you. Hit him when the time is right. Adahan's last attack is throwing sand waves. Hit him again when the time is right. After two hits, the ground will disapear, and you and Adahan will fall. Hit him when he moves downwards. Do everything above one more time. Afterwards, you'll see the real Adahan: a tiny orange whimp. Jump over the sand waves and hit Adahan one more time to beat Scorch. Round 4: Planet Sonata A sonata is a musical piece, and this planet is inhabited by birds that love music. Sonata is my favorite level because of the music and the fun. In this level, normal items such as handles now look like musical instruments. Sonata is also sort of hard, so be careful! RD4-1: In this level, whenever you find a small, blue radio, you must carry it with you. When you find a tough looking bird blocking your way, throw the radio at the bird to make it happy. Grab the radio to the right, throw it over the large bump. It'll float above a propeller. Hit the orb, then retrieve the radio and throw it at the bird to the right. I don't know how to get the radio on the spikes, so unless you can find a way, you're going to have to get hurt to get the radio. When you come to a claw, stand underneath it and let it take your radio. Follow the claw, and hit the orbs along the way. Grab the radio when the claw lets go of it, and throw it above the propeller. Climb the horn handles to the top, and get the radio when it floats up. Have the claw take the radio, then quickly swing from pole to pole to avoid falling on to the spikes. Grab the radio and throw it above the propeller. Climb the handles on the side of the platform to get up, then retrieve the radio when it floats up. Set it down, and when you get on the platform on the right, you'll find another platform in the air. Grab the handle on it's side, then jump to the right and grab to the right at the same time. This is where you find the bonus stage star handle. RD4-1 Bonus Area: This one is fairly hard. If you grab one of the treasure chests to the right, it'll disappear. With this in mind, hit them in a certain pattern to make a staircase (see below). * * * * * * * * * * * * * Once at the top, you can easily grab the pole in the upper right hand corner. Get the treasure. Drop down, and retrieve your radio. Hit the orb, then try to throw the radio as far over the spikes as possible. Get to the other side, grab the radio, and throw it at the bird. Get the treasure if you want, grab the pole to the right, then grap the radio without touching the spikes. Throw the radio into the hole in the ground, then press downwards when you're above the part of the floor that looks different to the right of the hole. Get the radio, drop down, and throw in on to the switch. Go approximately two inches to the right of the switch, then grab the radio without moving. Hopefully, you'll end up on the right side of the blue wall. Throw the radio over the green orb, then hit it. Throw the radio on to the propeller, then hit the jumping horn orb. Go to the top, get the radio, and throw it into the hole in wall. Stand below the part of the ceiling to the right of the hole, then grab upwards. Get the radio, then throw it at the bird to the right. Grab the pole, drop down, then use the star handle to fly upwards to get the radio above. Throw the radio as far over the spikes as possible, then go to the other side of the spikes and get it. Drop the radio, then hit the horn orb to the right. Hit the green orb, throw the radio on to the switch, then stand about two inches to the right of the radio and grab it. Throw it on to the propeller, climb your way to the top, then get the radio when it floats up. Let the claw take your radio, then right where you're standing, pull down on the control stick to go below the ground. Hit the horn orb to the left, then when you can't go left anymore, jump and grab upwards at the same time. Get the radio, throw it above the propeller, climb upwards, get the treasure, go to the right of the gap, and get the radio when it floats up. Drop the radio and hit the mechanical birds when they peck the ground. Take the radio to the right, throw it over the gap, jump over the gap, grab the radio, then drop down the gap to the right. Stay all the way to the left when you drop. Throw the radio at the bird, then head right to the mini boss. Mini Boss: Birds of a Mechanical Feather Simply hit the birds when they peck the ground. Each bird takes three hits. You'll need good reactions. Watch out for the floating orbs that periodically appear. Afterwards, head right and you'll see the ending star handle. By now you should remember what to do with it. RD4-2: Dance Dance!! Grab the pole to the right, then hold on to the purple handle. It'll take you across the gap. Right when you see ground, let go. Two inches right of the gap, hold down on the controll stick to go below ground. Wait for the little bird to fly twoards you, then hit the big bird. At the far right, grab upwards to go above ground. Head right, avoiding the flying orbs. Hit the purple horn, then go downwards at the right. Right when the guitars bow down, Jump over them. When the bird stops swirling, hit her. at the right, grab upwards. Grab the pole where it's brown, and you'll land on drum trampolines. Bounce over the walls, and in the second shaft, grab the pole in the middle. In the next shaft, Keep grabbing the left wall until you can grab the pole at the bottom. Hit the orb at the top, then drop into the next shaft. Stay in the middle of the shaft, and grab the pole at the bottom. Watch out for the spikes! At the other side, you'll have to grab the walls to avoid bouncing into the spikes at the top. The bonus stage star handle is at the right. RD 4-2 Bonus Area: All you have to do is bounce over the spiked walls. Near the end, you'll have to bounce from side to side to avoid the spikes. The treasure is at the end. Head back to the spiked shaft, then swing from pole to pole above the spikes. Drop down then bounce up to the right. Grab the pole in the middle, then go through the gap in the middle. Hit the orb at the bottom, then go to the right. Bounce up, then jump over the guitars when they bow down. Get the treasure, hit the bird when she's not spinning, avoid the orbs, and hit the purple horn. Drop down, and grab the pole at the bottom. If you miss, grab the handles to avoid bouncing into the spikes. You'll find the end star handle. Boss Arena: Awaueck Sing Head right until the curtains lift. A small bird will fly onto a platform, and a big bird named Awaueck will knock over the bird and take over the platform. Avoid the horrible blue notes, and hit the platform. Watch out for the stuff that falls from up above. Hit the platform three times to knock over Awaueck. The small bird will take over the platform once again. Hit Awaueck two times, while avoiding his three attacks: ground pounding, charging, and feather shedding. Do everything above four times. Round 5: Planet Freon Freon is used to make air conditioners cold, and this level is very, very cold! It's also fun. I just love sliding uncontrollably on ice (I'm being sarcastic). Freon is quite fun, though. For the fifth level, it isn't that bad. RD5-1: Ristar will ski down a slope. Afterwards, use the star handle to fly up the diagonal pathway two inches above the ground. Use the poles to get the treasure, then slide on the ice to the right. Use the blue jewel to bounce up to the treasure to the right. Then slide on some more ice, jumping over the spikes along the way. Get the treasure, then drop down on some more ice. Grab the pole at the end of the ice, to slide on some more ice (there's lots of ice). Jump over the orange orbs, then jump over to the treasure. Grab the orb (don't hit it) and swing on it from left to right to jump over to the next set of ice. Grab the pole, jump over the gap, then do your best to get to the treasure to the right. If you do, you'll get two lives. Avoid the falling ice, and the spikes that bounce up. Grab the poles to get up, avoid the falling ice, then if you land on a turquoise platform, immediately jump off. Grab the handle in the upper right hand corner to find the bonus stage handle. RD5-1 Bonus Area: Easy. Slide downwards, then when you drop onto the third slope, immediately grab the pole, then grab it again to head towards the treasure. Jump over the diagonal slopes. If you miss the pole, then you're going to have to travel underneath the treasure, grab some handles, and do it all over again. Drop down, head right, jump over the freonian and hit him from above at the same time. Avoid grabbing the bomb. Head right to face the mini boss. Mini Boss: Snowball Fight Easy. Stay in your pile of snow for a certain amount of time to create a snowball. Right when the freonian is about ready to throw his snowball, throw your snowball at him. Do this three times. Afterwards, head right to find the end star handle. RD5-2: Splash Snow Head right, avoid the spikes that the red orb shoots out, and jump into the water. Avoid some more spikes, and you'll come to an orb with spikes rotating around it. Swim through the small gap inbetween the spikes to get past the orb. Hit the rock below, get the treasure, and travel into the area with the fish. Remember Lost Palace from Undertow? Remember how you had to grab the handles to avoid traveling with the current? It's the same, instead you have to travel into the alcoves instread of grabbing onto handles. Hit the propeller machine at the right, then go above the surface. Hold onto the right fish, wait until you're high enough, then hit the fish and grab the pole above. Get the treasure, drop down into the water, and hit the spike-shooting orbs. Avoid the current with the alcoves, hit the machine at the right, hit the rock blocking your way, then go above surface and jump over the waves in the snow. Hit the different parts of the snowman to make a staircase, head onto the ice and grab the handles. Avoid the stuff that the Itamor statues spit out, and hit the red orb to the right. Slide down the ice, then halfway down, jump to land on another platform. Go underwater, avoid the spike fish chasing you, hit the rocks in your way, then hit the spike-shooting orb. Avoid the current once again, hit the machine at the right, avoid the spikes rotating around the orb, then jump above surface. When you slide on the ice, keep jumping onto the next platform of ice. At the top, don't jump down the gap, just head back to the left. When you get to the left-most platform, quickly jump off of it, grab the pole, and grab the bonus stage star handle. RD5-2 Bonus Area: Very hard. First jump into the tiny gap in the middle, then slowly swim carefully inbetween the spikes. When you get to the ice above surface at the end of the tunnel, jump to the left set of ice. Grab the pole above, and get the treasure. Drop down, slide and jump tot the right, jump down the gap, and you'll find the end star handle. Boss Arena: Itamor Lunch Head right until Itamor falls to the ground. You'll see the freonian from the last stage throw some hot soup into Itamor's mouth. This is what you need to do. When the freonian appears holding hot soup, grab it and throw it into Itamor's mouth when he opens it. You'll have to time it right, though. It's the same strategy as when you were having the snowball fight. Watch out for Itamor's attacks, though. When he jumps, run under him when he bounces. When he freezes you, continuously press the A button to break free. When Itamor attempts to suck you in, keep grabbing in the opposite direction. Watch out for the frozen strawberries he throws. Four soup-of-the-days will end the battle. Round 6: Planet Automaton Boy, do I hate this level! I don't know what an automaton is, or even if there is such a thing. All I know is that this level is annoying. The first stage is hard, the mini boss is hard, but the second stage and boss are easy. Good luck completing Automaton! RD6-1: This is hard to the MAX! It's so hard, it makes planet Scorch seem very easy! Head right, and hit the robotic worm. It'll split into two smaller ones, hit them both. You'll come to a machine with two spike balls for hands. When one of the spikes is out of the way, hit the center of the robot. You'll come to a whole group of poles. Try to grab only the outer ones. The rest are able to disappear. Get to the top left, bounce up, and grab the handles above. While moving across the handles, watch out for the verticle moving orbs. You'll fall onto a platform similar to the ice in Freon. Try to grab the treasure to the right. Drop down all the way, grab the tall pole, and keep hitting the right wall until you can grab some handles. On the top, you'll find weird shoes. They make it seem like there's water where there really isn't. Just keep swimming through the tunnel below, avoiding the spikes and orbs. Avoid the fire specks that the roboworm spits out, and you'll come to another spike-handed robot. Once again, hit the center when the spikes aren't in the way. Go downwards, destroy the roboworm, swim above another spike-handed robot to the left, and you'll come to a large room with many orbs. Destroy the roboworm on the wall, and keep diagonally hitting the wall until you get to the top. Grab the orb and swing from left to right to get to the platform to the right. Climb the handles to the right, and climb the steps to the left to find the bonus stage handle. RD6-1 Bonus Area: Very simple. Keep bouncing upwards until you come to a pole. Grab it to get to the other side. Drop down, then grab the pole at the very bottom. Do this again, and you'll come to the area with the treasure in it. Land on top of the chest, jump up and grab the treasure from above at the same time. After this, immediately grab upwards to get the treasure. Go back down to the bottom of the room, avoiding the orbs, hit the spike-handed robot and the roboworm, and head all the way to the right. Keep grabbing the wall until you come to a pole above. Grab the pole, quickly grab one of the walls, then grab the pole above. Keep doing this until you get to the top. Get the treasure, hold onto the flying metal orb, and let it carry you to a pole on the other side. Grab it from above, then hold onto another flying orb. While holding it, swing from left to right and grab the next flying orb that this one will take you to. Keep doing this until you can land on some ground. Head right, grab the star handle, and use it to launch yourself to the right. Try to fly as high as you can while going to the right. Hopefully, you'll hit one of the higher blocks in the path. You'll come to the mini boss. Mini Boss: Attack Pattern You'll see a bunch of regular orbs and one that's different from the others. The one that's different is the one you need to hit (I'll call this the main orb). Be careful! The regular orbs will protect the main one. They'll form four different patterns. Here's the solution for each one(x=regular orb #= main orb): x x x x x x x # x x x x x x x When the orbs move away from you, hit one of the regular ones. Keep doing this until you can hit the main orb. x x x x # x x x x First hit the outer orbs, then hit the inner orbs. Do this until you can hit the main orb. xxx#xxx Hit the orbs that fly twoards you one at a time, then hit the main orb when it moves downwards. x x x x x x x x x # x x x x x x The orbs will swirl around the platform. Jump and hit the main orb when you have the chance. The block that you hit before the mini boss will determine which pattern the orbs will use first. Six hits will defeat the mini boss. Afterwards, head right to come to the end star handle. RD6-2: Brain Maze This stage consists of eighteen rooms. You have to get from room to room by using a teleporter. In the first room, simply grab the yellow crystal and throw it into the slot to the right to activate the teleporter. Step on top of it to get transported to the next room. In there, hit the green robot three times while avoiding his bouncing attacks. Afterwards, hit the red wall, and throw the crystal into the slot to activate the teleporter. In the next room, hit the verticle moving platform to make it move horizontally. When it goes next to the teleporter, hit it again to make it travel vertically. Use the platform to get to the teleporter. You'll find a ray that will transport you to the other side of the room. Hit all the orbs and get to the teleporter. Next, use the star handle to get to the teleporter above. Get the treasure, the go to the next room. In there, hit the robot when he lifts his foot off the ground. Keep doing this until you make it smash open the red wall. Grab the crystal and throw it into the slot to activate the teleporter. In the next room, travel across the platforms while avoiding getting smooshed. On the other side, hit one of the platforms to make it travel horizontally. Hit another platform to make it horizontally, but a little higher than the last one you hit. Use the two horizontally moving platforms as steps to get to the teleporter. In the next room, grab one of the openings in the wall. Hopefully, you'll get the crystal. When you do, throw it in the slot to activate the teleporter. Grab one of the moving star handles, and use it to fly to the top of the room where another teleporter awaits. Get the extra life in the treasure chest, then teleport to the next room. In there, you're going to have to jump over the missiles that the robots shoot, then hit them two times. Don't forget to use the handles to move upwards! The teleporter is at the top. In the next room, hit the red wall, then immediately grab the star handle and swirl while grabbing onto it to avoid getting hit by an orb. When the orbs are gone, grab the crystal and throw it into the slot to activate the teleporter. Get the treasure, then teleport to the next room. You'll find another ray that'll transport you to the other side of the room. Hit the orbs, and either use the star handle in the middle or the handles at the far right to get to the top. Use the handles on the ceiling to cross the gap. The teleporter is at the top left corner. Use the star handle to go upwards and not right. If you stop flying, just keep hitting the wall diagonally and use the orbs to swing on. The teleporter is at the top. In the next room, you'll find the bonus stage star handle. RD6-2 Bonus Area: This one is hard to figure out what to do, but once you do, it's easy. Others say it's hard, though. Keep hitting the wall to the right, and when you get to the top, diagonally grab the next wall. Keep doing this until you get to the pole at the top. Grab it, then diagonally grab the next wall, then grab the pole at the top. You'll come to a series of platforms above you. Stand inbetween them, then diagonally grab the side of the lowest one, then horizontally grab it again. Diagonally grab the side of the next platform. Keep doing this until you can grab the pole at the top. Get the treasure to the right. Teleport to the next room. Use the star handle to launch yourself to the right. Hit the missile shooting robots if you want, and you'll come to the star handle. Boss Arena: Uranium Power Move right. Uranium will appear on the TV screens. When you see him throw something at you, immediately jump to avoid getting hit by a screw. Once you get to Uranium, the battle begins. Uranium has a wide variety of attacks: punching, jumping, energy ball attack, charging, and throwing stuff at you. Keep hitting Uranium, while avoiding his attacks. Most of his attacks can be avoided by hitting him. To avoid his energy ball attack, hit the wall right when he throws the energy ball. When Uranium falls to the ground, try to make the arm hit him by going underneath it. Don't make it hit you, though! I haven't counted the hits it takes to defeat Uranium, so you'll have to find out yourself. Good luck! Round 7: Greedy's Space City Here you are, the final level, and it's super easy. Even a three-year-old could beat it! This level only has one stage. No bonus stages. Even the boss is easy! Greedy's Space City is very cool though. RD7-1: Hit the orb and grab the pole above. Jump and grab the next one. Hit another orb, climb the handles, grab the two poles, and climb more handles. Hit an orb, then keep diaganolly grabbing the left wall until you get to the next floor. Drop down to the right, hit an orb, then use the star handle to fly upwards and grab the horizontal pole at the top. Hit the two orbs, then head right to face the boss. Quick, wasn't it? Boss Arena: Inonis The eye that's been following you (sorry, I didn't mention it) will float into a robot's socket, and the battle will begin. Inonis is easy. He's controlling a giant, snake-like robot. It has many attacks: boomerang toss, laser stream, lead shooting, and energy blast. All of them can be avoided by hitting Inonis. Each time you hit it, the eye will create a shield blocking your attack. Keep hitting it until you see a spark. Inonis will bend over and rub the spark to make it go away. That's your chance to hit him. Five hits will take care of Inonis. After the battle, head right to get teleported to the final battle. Final Boss: Greedy Greedy will create five robotic orbs that teleport to different parts of the room and shoot lasers at you at the same time. Jump over the lasers or run under them, and hit the orbs when you have the chance. After you destroy them, Greedy will rise from his throne and rush around the room constantly. It'll take quick reactions to hit him. Watch out for the orbs that fly twoards you. Run from side to side to avoid them. After five hits, Greedy will create a black hole. To avoid getting sucked in, grab one of the orbs that fall, and hold onto it. When another orb falls, quickly hit the one you're grabbing, then grab onto the next one. When the black hole disappears, go to the right of the room. When the room turns dark and Greedy blinks rapidly, go left. Hopefully Greedy will miss you when he zaps the floor. When he disappears, go to the right, then go left again. Greedy will zap the floor again. Keep doing this until Greedy appears in the upper right hand corner of the room. That's your chance to hit him. Five more hits will end the game. Greedy will fall to the floor, the room will turn red, and a black hole will appear over the throne chair. Greedy, Uranium, and Inonis get sucked in, and Ristar will grab a star handle at the last second. He'll escape from Greedy's Space City just before it collapses on itself. The credits will roll, showing some cool artwork, and at the end you'll see a small scene showing Ristar reuniting with his dad. Congratulations! You beat the game! 6.
