If you're reading this, you probably know what it is, so I don't need to explain. I've been playing this game for over a year now, and I've recently gotten good with Ryumaou, so I figure I might as well share my knowledge. Ryumaou is the 'Ultimate Enemy' of Flying Dragon - He is only available to fight later in the game. Ryumaou, once mastered, is deadly. He uses his kicks for most power, but also uses deadly projectile attacks as a mainstay. Ryumaou is the 'Last Boss' in the game, as 'Shin Ryumaou'. Ryumaou, although much stronger then any other character, has a VERY limited set of Combos. Ryumaou's Secret Busters are strong, but not totally powerfull, at least, not until you come to the 'Akuken Jigoku', which is incredibly strong. Ryumaou is the 'Villain' of Flying Dragon. He also appears, almost identically, in Virtual Hiryu NOTICE THIS: The only way to get the 'Skull of the Devil King' treasure item, which allows you to use Ryumaou in Virtual Hiryu mode, is to play using SD Ryumaou! Version History: Version 1.0 - [Current] Original File -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 2) Unlocking Ryumaou + His Info To Unlock Ryumaou, you must compete in the game using any character. When the Ryumaou tournament is opened up (After beating Metal Ryuhi), win it by defeating Metal Ryumaou or Shin Ryumaou later on. You will get the 'Skull' Secret Item: If you have this, Ryumaou can be played. The game gives NO PRECISE INFO on Ryumaou, however, some of it can be figured out. The Non-Player Ryumaou is the 'Shin Ryumaou', the 'Dragon Demon God', when translated (IF I've got that right). He was summoned into existance by Suzaku, however, he could not be controlled. He is the one who created 'Shadows' of the characters - The Platinum Characters. The Player Ryumaou isn't the REAL Ryumaou! The Player Ryumaou is actually a 'Weakened Copy' of the Shin Ryumaou. Apparently, he was supposed to be the Shin Ryumaou's soldier, but, the Player Ryumaou became too powerful for him to control. [This may not be totally true, I can't be perfectly sure...] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 3) My Ryumaou Ryumaou - ??? - Total Rank: S - Lv. 4 Medals: 10 Power 12 - Throw 12 - Defense 10 - Mind's Eye 04 Weapon: Ball of Hermit (Level: 8) Armor: Black Dragon Fang (Level: 9) Other 1: Robe of Wind (Level: 2) Other 2: Black Ball (Level: 9) Time: 2 Hours, 50 Minutes, 22 Seconds Circuit - 149 Wins, 0 Loss Vs - 0 Wins, 3 Loss Passcode: Y W Y ? ? Any NORMAL Character - As a general rule, the sheer power Ryumaou has allows him to fight most any opponent with ease. Just don't let your guard down. Fight him using knockdown attacks, or combos if you see the chance. Platinum Shouryu - This is a bit difficult, but you DON'T need the Prevent Treasure thingy. Try using leg sweeps when he gets close, and also try using your various distance attacks. The 'Falling Fist' of Gokuken works very well, as well as your other projectiles. Akuken Jigoku can hit him without activating his power. Platinum RoboNoHana - Ryumaou gets it easiest against this guy. A fireball, a falling fist (Gokuken), AND a 'forcefield' style attack will all help you knock this robot out without the Prevention Treasure. If you have to fight him again, Akuken Jigoku works wonders. Platinum Hayato - Try one-hit knockdown attacks - Fireballs, Gokuken, the forward-punch of Sai, etc. You don't need the P.T. with this guy ever. Platinum Powers - This guy is easy pickings if you use repeated Gokukens and the like, or do a jump-in-and-throw repetidly. Platinum Ryuhi - Fight him like normal Platinum Wiler - You don't REALLY need your Special Attacks for this guy if you use your combos - The short ones like Combo 5 and 6 work particularly well. Try using <- -> Punch to do a Sai Punch attack to spice things up, along with Leg Sweeps, etc. Platinum Yuka - Keep attacking her, don't back off for ANY REASON! Her Secret Buster, which is like a Ring of Genie, will hit you even if you're on the ground, and takes off a good chunk of health - To keep her from using it, you'll need to keep her constantly busy Platinum Suzaku - Take him out fast, you don't want to get poisoned by this guy! Platinum Bokuchin - Oh, this guy's annoying if you don't have the Prevention Treasure - He comes back to life 9 times. Of course, it's not as bad as Shin Ryumaou 2... Anyway, just keep attacking him and don't let him attack back Platinum Ryumaou - Fight this guy just like you would Metal Hayato - He has the same GENEI power ala Metal Hayato thanks to a 'Robe of Vision' and a lower-level Ring of Genie. You'll fight this guy even during the final tournament, but he's a simple warm up to Shin Ryumaou Shin Ryumaou 1 - For this guy, thanks to his combined GENEI of Metal Hayato and the Robe of Vision, as well as Wiler's ALL PREVENT. Try to use the Combination 5/6 attacks on his, as well as the Sai Punch, etc., much like you did with Metal Hayato. Shin Ryumaou 2 - He's got Bokuchin's IMMORTALITY and Powers' V4 POWER. This guy is a PAIN IN THE ASS! Anyway, though, he's not TOO hard... To beat him, do a jump-in-kick and do a quick throw. If you start doing the Zan attack (The downwards-kick), do it a couple times, then do an ST Sen (Triple Kick) to get close enough to throw if it is done right. The Akuken Jigoku and the Zetsu are particularly effective. Shin Ryumaou 3 - The Shin Ryumaou 3 is the EASIEST form of Shin Ryumaou, believe it or not! Even though all his equipment is M-Level, he is almost no different from Metal Ryumaou. The one thing you have to watch for is when he does the Akuken Jigoku - If he does it WITHOUT CHARGING UP, beware! This does more damage then the normal Akuken Jigoku, and if you're using the Black Dragon Claw like I do, and it doesn't stop it, well... Aside from that, don't worry! You're only a couple moments away from the Darkness Medal, and Metal Ryumaou! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 7) Ryumaou's Conversations The Conversations are taken RIGHT FROM THE ALBUM IN THE GAME! These are what the characters say to each other, including the Hidden Conversations. PS: I'll get the 'Shin Ryumaou' convos in the next update. I doubt I'll be able to get the 'Last Round of Tournament' conversations, since they're not included in the Album... >_< PPS: It's odd, but Ryumaou seems to have a very limited vocabulary: 'I will beat you up' seems to be in every conversation... The only really fun ones are Powers, Wiler, Robo No Hana, and Bokuchin - Oh, and the Special Convos It's arranged like this...
