Well, I've spent a lot of time playing Mischief Makers since I first got it 
eight years ago, and with the slight increase in popularity that I think it has 
had at places I frequent, I've thought about making a guide for it. But what 
guide to write? I've seen people quoting the game, and I have to admit, it is a 
very quotable game, so I've decided on making a Game Script FAQ. There really 
isn't much else to say, so let's get started with this thing.

This guide will contain all of the script and dialogue in Mischief Makers. This 
includes such phrases that are spoken using actual vocals, but will not include 
things that are random yelps from enemies. This will include, however, text 
that is not in a text box. Also, any words that are drawn out, such as 
Professor Theo's yelling, will not have any added letters. Purely vocal parts 
are copied to the best of my ability. This guide will also contain *spoilers*, 
so be warned.

For the sake of simplicity, any unnamed Clancers will be numbered by their 
appearance in the stage, starting at 1 for each stage and resetting for every 
stage. If the Clancer speaking is unclear, I've made my best guess.

Space between two lines = The same character is speaking, but it is not in the 
same exact text box (e.g. one text box appears, you press L or R and the same 
character is talking but it is a new bow of text).

I'm the warrior who guards this Item Shrine.

Oh, finally! I've been waiting for you. I'm Nepton's all-wise, all-knowing, 
Geold.

This is the Planet Clancer, where we Clancers live. All of our race is kind and 
friendly.

And, because of these traits, the Empire has persuaded many Clancers to become 
evil.

They use their powerful troops to invade other planets. They are trying to rule 
the Universe!

I'm not sure why they kidnapped your Prof. I'm guessing that they'll take him 
to the Emperor.

You must rescue him before that happens!!

To get from place to place, you must use the Warp Gates. There are many such 
gates on Clancer.

However, these gates were all sealed a long time ago. It's time to open them!!

Use this Clanbomb at the Clance Shrine to unseal the Warp Gate.

[Clancer 4 (after destroying the Clance Shrine)]:
Oh my! The shrine was destroyed! The Clanbomb was stronger than the Clanboxes!!

Marina, grab the spinning star!! and press B! That's the "Warp Gate"!

If you want a big explosion, I've got a great bomb for you!!

We can also slide by holding v and pressing A!

But we can't jump higher and farther, while sliding, the way you can.

[Clancer 3]:
You can slide by pressing A while holding v.

You can slide jump by pressing A twice quickly while holding v.

[Clancer 4]:
Sob...sob...Marina came back to steal my gems, again... sob...sob...sob

You can dash in the air or on the ground by tapping < or >. You can get items 
in the air!!

[Clancer 4]:
Tapping < or > makes you dash!!

[Clancer 5]:
Oh Marina, please stop digging. Tapping B while holding v will uncover my 
buried item!

Oh, stop it! I've hidden my loot...Ooops...Never mind!! Forget I said 
anything!!

Please, don't press B while holding v, even if the place seems suspicious.

[Clancer 6]:
What? Did you just come through the Red Warp Gate?

Mmm...yes, you must have pressed B at the gate, to go to the next area.

Keep in mind that the gates are one way! So you may not be able to return. Be 
careful!!

[Clancer 6]:
Uumm, the Red Warp Gate is a one way passage...you won't be able to come back 
through it!!

[Clancer 7]:
Welcome to the Cosmic Hospital! We've got love and joy for all! If you're hurt, 
we're here!!

Recently, a monster named Marina has been causing trouble! We're very busy!!

There must be a trick to it. Because it's a little slower than tapping >!!

Then press B again, in the direction you want to go. This will allow you to 
jump higher!!

If you press down, you can jump downward diagonally. The key is to shake the 
Clanballs.

The Clanballs' reactions differ from ball to ball.

If you run into any problems, don't forget to shake the Clanballs.

want.

To store an item, release it on top of the pot. To take an item out, stand on 
top of the pot.
