So you bought the new Resident Evil 2: Dual Shock. Great! It was worth the money. Oh, and look! You beat scenario "B" in normal mode (or you would'nt be looking at this guide). Well I am Sanyani, and I will guide you through the perils of the Extreme Battle Mode. Well, some of the way. I'll help you find the mightiest monster of them all, the Rocket Launcher. You'll need it to topple those T-109's in a giffy, you know those trench coat zombie things. I will not tell you to go to other rooms, this is just a straight to the point Strategy Guide. In this SG, I tell you to destroy everything in your site, knowuing that you have a limited amount of bullets, you ake you inituative, destroy or run. Well take your mark, get set, go! The beginning, chose Claire, Leon, Ada, or Chris. You have to find four special bombs. (How did the plant get reconstructed, I dunno). =================================- ==================================== 2. Strategy Guide Area One, No Rocket Launcher, but a Sub-Machine Gun! You start out in the monitor room. Go out the door to YOUR left. There will be zombies crawling everywhere. Bang'em up and proceed to the door up the hall. Climb the ladder. When you dismount the ladder, there will be some doctor(s) waiting to "test" your blood (I dunno how many, 1-2-3, they do it at random). Rescedule you appointment for another day and proceed through the door. MAN!! Zombies everywhere. Blast the freaks till they are, er..., um..., "?dead?". Turn to the right and exit through the door. Spot, Rover, and Lady want to get "petted" so do it. Then run down the catwalk, if you haven't already. and enter the doorless room where you inserted the fuse. There is a set of blue herbs (poison healing) if you were poisioned. Proceed through the white hall (the one ahead of you), and open the door at the end of the catwalk. A group of junkies are drinking in this room and decide to show you that you are not welcome. Destroy every single banger if you like or run around them. {====================================================================== ====} Hey, remember where Ada Wong was killed by the T-109? Go there and you will find a Sub-Machine Gun. {====================================================================== ====} Run to the train, and you will get your time-of-finish. Area Two, What We Are Here For. . . ROCKET LAUNCHER! Hop off the train and run to the door. There goes that strange tune, a save room. Save if you'd like to do so! Go down the hole. A security gaurd is about to beat you with his stick. Gun him down. His buddies take the intuative, you take it to! One you have a path for the the other door, run to it. There's some more zombies wanting a taste of warm appendix. Run-or-gun, either way make it to yet another door--your outrside. CAW! CAW! Polly the bird and her gang are out for a midnight fly. I suggest running. 'Cos when you aim, you are only gonna hit one bird, and there is about, um. . . say. Ten (10)? Either way, make it to the transport. Exit the train and run to the door. Run down the long catwalk and open the door. I forget whats in here I think some zombies playing "possum" ("dead"). We are hot, getting close! Jump down off the elevated platform. Walk a little and you will see yet another elevated platform to your right. Jump up on it and open the door. Keep going and you will see that thing where you inserted the wheel to raise and lower the platform. Walk across it and open the door to the gator boss room. Don't worry, he's gone, but his veternarians are there and have a suspicion that you have something to do with Gators dissapearence. Destroy them all to destroy the evidence so you won't get prosecuted. Proceed down the Gator Hall and open the door to the Dump Gate. Man. Bo, Hurcules, and Otis want to play. Give'm somethin' to chew on. Once they've been uthanized run to the elevated platform and climb on it. Ohhh, you might get burned! Climb the ladder. AHHH you got roasted! Hey, Hey, whats that shiny thing, is it a, a, um, key, or maybe some glasses? Go though the opening, and what this? Pick it up. Eureka (more loke BAZOO-ka)! You found it the Rocket Launcher with Ten (10) shots. Congratulations!!! Now this is all you need, finish the Extreme Battle Mode! <- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++==================++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +-> 3. Hints - Codes - Cheats Infinite Ammo Press <"Select"> and enter the Options Mode. Go the the choose Coniguration Screen, the first screen. Hold <"R1"> and press <"Square"> ten (10) times. The word "Manual" or "Auto" should turn Red. All weapons will have a green infinite sign (represented by "()()") which means you have and unlimited supply of ammo, you shouldn't die! Alternate Clothes and Secret gun Start a game on Original Game/Normal Mode. Make it to the police precinct without picking up any items, any items (i.e bullets, guns, you name it.). When you reach to police station go inside and load up on some ammunition. Head back outside, and go behind the police precinct and head down the stairs. Down there, will be, Brad Vickers, the cowardly pilot from Resident Evil 1. But, one thing, he's a zombie! Zero in for the kill. He's a real "beef jerky". It takes about 18-20 spots to down'em. You can approach him and start shooting then back up when he gets a little to intimate and start again. Once he's, um, er. . ., "dead" search his corpse for a gold key. Go to the dark room and open the locker. For Claire Redfield, there's a Bicker Outfit with a Colt SAA (a cowboy gun fired from the hips, this has the power of a handgun, but fires much faster. Replace the handgun with this immediately!) For Leon Kennedy, there's a tank-top and jeans with a cap, and a leather jacket with a skull emblem and jeans. (He looks like a gangster in this outfit, and shoots his handgun with one hand!) Bonus Weapons Finish Mission "A" and get an "A" or a "B", you will get the rocket Launcher with infinite shots. On Mission "B", finish the game with an "A" or a "B" in under 4 hours and get the Sub-Machine Gun. Finish it in under 3 hours you will get with an "A" or a "B" and yyou will get the Rocket Launcher, Gatling Gun, and the Sub-Machine Gun all with Infinite Ammo. <++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++> 4.
