On the opening screen you will be given the choice of playing in three types of games. You need to use a password to play in the last two games. The competition in the last two games will be more difficult, but it will use the same questions as the first game. You choose questions from the categories they give you. Those questions range from 100 points to 2500 points. The more the points, the harder the question is. In the first round questions will range from 100 points to 500 points. In the second round, they will go from 500 points to 2500 points. As long as you do not have a negative score you can then go to the third round, Final Jeopardy. In the third round you will be given the name of the category your question is in. Based on that category you will wager your points based on how much you know about that category. After you wager, you will then have 75 seconds to answer the question. Whoever has the most points by the end of the third round is the winner. In the FAQ below, I will list all of the questions under each category. Almost every category has two possible sets of questions, some have three, others just one. I will list each category and the sets of questions for that category. Below those are the answers to the Final Jeopardy Questions. Each Final Jeopardy category only has one possible question. All of the categories are listed in alphabetical order. ======================================================================= |-II.----------------------- THE CONTROLS ----------------------------| ======================================================================= There aren't many buttons to learn here, because it is such a simple game. You can buzz in using either the "A" or "B" buttons. You can use them for choosing questions in the question menu too. Use the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, buttons to move through the name and passwords screens, as well as through the questions menu. ======================================================================= |-III.-------------------- THE QUESTION LIST -------------------------| ======================================================================= Below I will give you the questions and answers that are listed under each category. Make sure you aren't mistaken about how I am listing them. It has turned out to be a much larger task than I thought. I use to believe I had almost all the questions written down. But now it is clear I had only about 1/4 of them. 12/18/02: I'm more than halfway done with it today, so I'm gonna send it in. I'm not done with this FAQ, I just need to take a little break from this one. This is the 5th FAQ I've written, and it is the only one so far I have not enjoyed writing. But since I started it, I will finish it. For now though, I need to work on a project I enjoy. Anyway, I call this FAQ version 0.5 Trust me, I WILL FINISH IT ONE DAY! 12/21/02: I just made a few small changes, nothing major. I call this FAQ version 0.51 1/17/03: A completely changed the format of this guide, as well as adding some ASCII art at the top. On a side note, I have decided not to personally finish this guide. Instead, I will find another author to write the 2nd half of this question list. When this guide is completely finished, it will be a "co-written" guide. But for now, this is still FAQ version 0.51. 5/6/2003: Cleaned this guide up a little, as well as adding my writing signature at the bottom. I'm still gonna call this FAQ version 0.51 6/12/2003: IGN may now post this guide on its site www.IGN.com ======================================================================= |-VIII.----------------- COPYRIGHT INFORMATION -----------------------| ======================================================================= Since I, Michael Tyler (Reptile) wrote this document, it is protected by copyright law.
