I. Introduction

This guide is for editing the data inside a savestate. To use this,
you need a ROM, an emulator, a hex-editor, and a savestate.

I made this guide for use with the Rocknes emulator, but i've also
included the offsets for Nesticle savestates. If you're using the
Rocknes, you will be editing .RS0 files, if you use Nesticle you
will be editing .STA files.

Experience with hexidecimal is suggested, but anyone should be
able to follow this guide. Just go to the address you need on the
left, and change the value to what you want listed below. For max
stats, use the digits to the right of the address.

V. Level Modifier

With this you can travel anywhere. After setting the level, load
your savestate. You will still be in the previous level untill
you do any one of the following things.

1. Go to the item screen, then return to the map.
2. Enter a door.
3. Walk over to the next screen.

Keep in mind that your current location on the screen is where you
will appear in the new level. If you select a level that has a lot
of water (like Crete), you might fall in and drown. You can prevent
this by walking past where you think the water might be and then 
pressing start twice to appear in the new level.
