When energy reaches LV1, Super Impact Blasts can be used . when it reaches MAX, LV2 Super Impact Blasts can be used. When Super Impact Blasts are used once, the gauge is reset . ( Note that some Super Impact Blast need LV2 gauge ) Counter Style ( like "Extra" mode in KofR2 or Kof97/Kof98 ) The Power Gauge is increased through continued use of the Power Bulider command . When the gauge reaches MAX, the player automatically enters a powered-up condition to use Super Impact Blasts. When the power gauage reaches MAX and the life gauge flashes simultaneously , LV2 Impact Blasts can be used Rush Style The power gauge increases by attacking oppoent successfully ( especially with Chain Combos ) guarding against enemy attacks, or activating Impact Blasts. When it reaches MAX, 1 power stock is stored and Super Impact Blast can be used. It's possible to store up to 3 power stocks. LV2 Super Impact Blasts, however, cannot be used with this style. Tournament During start, choose the battle type. Select "Single"(1 on 1), "Tag" (2 on 2) or "Team" (3 on 3) . I would say that the AI is motm is getting more and more "clever" as compared to KofR2. I played the hardest lv "Brutal" , and it is very difficult to win using "Single", as u need to defeat Geese and M.Bison ( both of them ! ) and the last, Evil Ryu or Orochi Iori ( depend on which char u used, Capcom char will fight Iori, SNK char will fight Evil Ryu ). For the bosses , I really hate Geese and Orochi Iori as compared to M.Bison and Evil Ryu. Tag mode is like Marvel VS series , u can switch character during battle . I like this mode best . Team mode is just like King Of Fighter style of 3 on 3 battle mode. U can only switch character when one is defeated . After winning the tournament , u will have the chance to reveal a hidden character ( see lower part of the faq ) Olympic Choose either the "SNK TEAM" or the "CAPCOM TEAM" and meet with cute Rimururu or Karin . There are 7 events in this mode , as u compete in the events, you might be able to earn a medal and points to unlock hidden moves for every character . Team Events Survival : To win, defeat all the 100 opponents. ( just like all the survival selection in most fighting games ). But the foes is much more easier to defeat as compared to Tournament. This is the only event that u can earn lots of points . Time Attack : Race against time to beat 5 opponents. First Blast : Take on 10 opponents in a single-blow matches. Individual Events Target 9 ( SNK ) : A shooting competition for the SNK . Shoot as many saucer as possible They will shoot u if u r not fast enough ! Joystick : Move in 8 directions A button : Shoot B Button : Reload Blade Art ( SNK ) : Use Jubei Yagyu from "Samurai Shodown" to slash down straw bundles that appear in the left,right,upper left and upper right of the screen ! There is not much different between normal Iori and Evil Iori! The only different is their Dark Thrust, Evil Iori's Dark Thrust can neutralise normal projectile and hit opponent. But I don't think it worth the price of reducing his defense exchange for his Dark Thrust. Remember to set the difficulty to "Gamer" mode (which is the hardest), so u can get the hidden characters easier ! They are : Akuma Yuri Akari B.B. Hood, next will be M.Bison and Geese , I had confirmed that Evil Ryu and Orochi Iori will be playable character in the game .... As I am now trying to get them !! Vega and Billy are NOT playable ! Some Secret Feature: To change character colour : simply just hold A button when choosing character . When you select characters (in tournment) for tag or team, you can play "handicap" yourself by pressing "OPTION", for example, one person in tag or one/two person in team . ( sent by anonymous ) Hold option when small flying droids appear, and you'll fight as Fio ! Hold option when u go into Cat Walk event. The icons for A, B and arrows should change and Felicia's hair changed to orange ! Just when "Snk Vs Capcom" title appears at the start introduction, press option An animation selection screen will appear ! (But I dunno the how to get this mode work ! I tried but cannot !!! ) In Option, if you select "enable" mode to On, all characters command move can be performed in short cut mode, like Ryu's Shin Shoryuken, you need only do QCF+K instead of QCFx2+K and Ryu's Shoryuken instead of doing F,D,DF+P , u need only D+P . Eric had tried to link the card clash and Match of Millennium , but it was a let down. First it only let you unlock hidden characters from the version of card you see (like SNK or Capcom ), which might be bad if someone tried this and already unlocked all of one side's character .And the point trade system is screwed up as well , it took 17hr of play to play to get 64% of the cards and reward : 3 hidden sqaures and 200 Vs points !
