Added a little bit to all sections, moved a couple things around, and tried to make the Talk Topic section look a little better. 2/20/09 - Updated walkthrough up to Cat Mansion. Also added to the Items, Enemies, Skills, Song Magic, Cosmosphere, and Talk Topics sections. 2/18/09 - Submitted the first version of the guide, which goes up to starting the Infelsphere on Cloche's route - Phase 2. I plan on updating this almost every day until it's finished... Unless Star Ocean gets in the way, that is. 2/12/09 - Started the guide ==================== Battle Basics (S1BB) ==================== So, you just finished the first tutorial battle and are already confused? In this section, I'll be breaking down the battle system and will hopefully give a less vague tutorial than the game does. In the beginning of the game, you only need to worry about the attack phase, so I'll start there. Attack Phase: You are given a certain amount of time to inflict damage onto the enemy during the Attack Phase. Now here is where it can get a little confusing - to do a regular attack, press either X or Square. The front top character is Square, while the bottom front character is X. Pressing a direction on the directional pad will have your character use a skill/special attack. You can check the skills page to see what attack is set to each direction. The direction you choose also has special effects that correspond to the Reyvateils. The attack phase is also when you can use items, choose a Song for a Reyvateil to sing, and release the song magic. Defense Phase: Early in the story, you will be able to defend your Reyvateil partner during the Defense phase. You must time your button presses (either X or Square) to effectively defend, by paying attention to the small bar that appears, showing when your enemies will attack. ======================== Phase 1: Pastalia (WP100) ======================== Pastalia...........(WP101) Rakshek Resort.....(WP102) Rakshek............(WP103) Souffle Axis.......(WP104) General Store......(WP105) Rakshek............(WP106) General Store......(WP107) Rakshek............(WP108) Mikry Forest.......(WP109) Rakshek............(WP110) Mint Block.........(WP111) Mikry Forest.......(WP112) Mint Block.........(WP113) Enna City..........(WP114) Enna Palace Ruins..(WP115) Enna City..........(WP116) Mint Block.........(WP117) Ironplate Desert...(WP118) Grand Bell Hall....(WP119) Pastalia...........(WP120) Water Mill.........(WP121) Slums..............(WP122) Pastalia...........(WP123) Grand Bell Hall....(WP124) Telmina............(WP125) I.P.D. Labs........(WP126) Grand Bell Hall....(WP127) After the initial scenes, you will immediately be thrown into a tutorial battle. For those of you who have played the first Ar tonelico, you will notice that battles are quite a bit different in the second one. Refer to the in game Tutorial Menu or the Battle Basics (S1BB) section of this walkthrough if you need more assistance. [New Tutorial - Battle Basics 1] There will be more scenes after you win the fight (you did win it... right?) After the scenes, you'll be on the Pastalia map. Choose Pastalia City from the menu. -------- Pastalia (WP101) -------- [New Item - Girls Clothes] [New Location - Croix's House] After the scenes, open the menu and equip Girls Clothes to Cocona. To do this, open the menu with the triangle button and choose Equipment from the menu. From there, select Cocona and equip the Girls Clothes to the Armor slot. There isn't anything else to do, except see a short scene at the Dive Shop, which is the building with the grey door. When you're done, leave this section of the city and choose Croix's house from the menu for another scene. [New Location - Rakshek Resort] [New Tutorial - How to Play 1] Save your game on the large bed upstairs, then leave Croix's house. Select the World Map from the menu, then use the D-Pad to go to Rakshek Resort. -------------- Rakshek Resort (WP102) -------------- Items: Enemies: 300 Leaf I.P.D Curel A x3 Sacred Knight PonPom Milk x3 Sacred Reyvateil PuchiPuni Egg x4 Ticklish Fuzz x4 [New Tutorial - How to Play 2] The new tutorial explains the field map, so read it if you are unfamiliar with the encounter system. You can press the START button to view a map of the area. Head up the north path on the right to find a crate with TICKLISH FUZZ x3 inside, then return to the starting point. Take the left north path and continue forward to a dead end with two crates containing 50 LEAF and another TICKLISH FUZZ. Return to the previous screen and move all the way to the left to find another crate with 50 LEAF inside. Go north from here until you reach two crates, which contain another 50 LEAF and a PUCHIPUNI EGG. Head back south to the large clearing, and then west to see a Save Point and an open gate. Save your game before passing through the gate. There will be a forced battle after the scene. It's easy, so use this time to experiment a little with your characters moves. If you need to, head back outside and rest at the Save Point before exploring further. From the entrance, leave through the west hallway and enter the first door. There is a chest in the room containing PUCHIPUNI EGG x2. Go back into the hallway and enter the other door; there are two chests in here with PONPOM MILK x2 and 100 LEAF inside. Return to the entrance go east this time. There are two chests in the first door that each have a CUREL A inside. Continue east, then north through the hallway. There are another two chests inside the second door that contain PONPOM MILK and 50 LEAF. Continue down the hallway; the next door, again, has a room with two chests. CUREL A and a PUCHIPUNI EGG are found inside of them. Rest and save at the Save Point ahead, then continue to the next screen. Your characters should be at level 2 or 3 at this point, though level 1 will suffice for the next battle. After a short scene, you'll be forced into a battle against three Sacred Reyvateils, and Captain Leglius will replace Cocona. It's an easy battle, though you should have some healing items from the chests if you do need them. Head back to the entrance of the castle for a Song Magic tutorial battle. Finally! In addition, you'll learn how to guard during the Defense Phase and activate special effects by filling the Reyvateil's Emotion Gauge. Check the Battle Basics (S1BB) section of this guide if you need a more in-depth explanation. Several new tutorials have also been added to the tutorial menu. [New Party Member - Cloche] Leave the resort for another scene. You can now access Talk Topics by resting at Save Points. Try it out now at the save point nearby. There are two Topics available now: [Move On!] and [Behave Yourself!]. The latter may only be available of Cloche was hit during a battle. Seeing all the Talk Topics is not necessary; you only need to see a few of each level, which we will get to later. For now, head back to the entrance of the forest (just keep going south whenever you can, in case you forgot.) A scene awaits when you get there. -------------------------------Boss Fight-------------------------------------- Boss: ??? I hesitate to call this a boss fight, but nevertheless, the game presents it as one. Start the battle by using Cloche's Holy Burst and release it when it's around 2000%. In the meantime, attack as normal with Croix and Cocona. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [New Location - Trade City, Rakshek] A new Talk Topic for Cloche - [No Partner?] - is available after defeating ???, the boss you just fought. Choose Rakshek from the World Map to continue the story. ------- Rakshek (WP103) ------- After the short scene, go to the Inn and rest. [New Location - Axis Courtyard] Leave the Inn and choose Axis Courtyard from the Town Map. ....And so a long tale of sexual innuendos begins. [New Party Member - Luca] [New Location - Dive Shop] [New Tutorial - RT Battle 3] Open up the menu and go to Formation. Switch Luca and Colche's positions so that Luca is behind Croix and Cloche is behind Cocona for the best pairing. The first Talk Topic with Luca is available - [Mercenaries?]. Rest at the Inn again if you want to get this now. Restaurant Shop Event 1: Go back to Axis Courtyard and enter the building on the left - the restaurant. Talk to the waitress near the door for a scene. This unlocks a new Talk Topic with Luca - [Skycat]. Return to the Town Map and go to the Dive Shop. [You can now Dive into Cloche] [New Tutorial - Dive] There are also two new Talk Topics available [Fiance?] for Cloche, and... [Fiance?] for Luca. In addition another Talk Topic is available for Luca - [Let's Talk A Bit More] - after viewing Cloche's [Fiance?] Topic. With all of that out of the way, it's time to, well.. dive into Cloche. Go back to the Dive Shop and talk to the owner to dive; it will cost 200 Leaf and a total of 175 Diving Points to finish the first level of Cloche's Cosmosphere. Fight a little at Rakshek Resort if you want to finish it now and don't have enough DP. Refer to the Cloche's Cosmosphere Lv 1 (RVCC01) section of this guide if you need assistance. With that done, there are a few more Talk Topics available, but first, Luca will talk to you when you rest at the Inn. [You can now Dive into Luca] Anyway, the Talk Topic [What happened?] is available for Cloche, as well as the Talk Topic [Cosmosphere #1] if you managed to finish it. The Talk Topic [Croix's First Experience] is available for Luca. In addition, the first Heroine Topic is available, also named [Croix's First Experience]. It will trigger after resting at the Inn a second time. Luca's Cosmosphere can wait a little bit longer, after all, she doesn't come with enough DP. For now we're going to continue with the story by going to Axis Courtyard. [New Location - Souffle Axis] Choose Souffle Axis from the Town Map. ------------ Souffle Axis (WP104) ------------ Items: Enemies: 150 LEAF Eggplant Bird Curel A x2 Pom Igniting Water x2 I.P.D.s: Chikori Lv. 1, Hiyori Lv. 1 [I.P.D Containment system is now available] [New Tutorial - I.P.D. Containment] Checking the Region Info (accessed by pressing SELECT) will tell you that there are two I.P.D.s in the area. Head to the north of the first screen, towards the tracks; there will be a short tutorial if you went the right way. [New Tutorial - Suppress by Force] Head north again to an area with a crate containing 150 LEAF. Return to the previous screen and go west along the tracks until you reach the next north path. There is a dead-end with a chest containing a CUREL A. Return to the tracks again and go head east, then north. You will have the option to fight the I.P.D. Chikori here. Chikori is by herself, but she has an attack that will hit multiple times, which is something you haven't encountered yet, so pay attention during the Defense Phase. If the attack badly damages your party, have Cloche and Luca use a healing Song Magic. Otherwise, build up an offensive Song to deal a large amount of damage to Chikori. There are two crates at the dead-end Chikori was located at containing another CUREL A and IGNITING WATER x2. Go as far to the south-west as you can. As you approach the next screen, and I.P.D warning will appear, along with the I.P.D's name: Hiyori. Hiyori appears with a couple Eggplant Birds. While they are a little harder than normal enemies, they are still easy. Watch out during the Defense Phase; as with Chikori, Hiyori has a move where she will hit multiple times, which guarding will require multiple timed button presses. After a turn or two, finish them off with built-up Song Magic. Continue west, along the path, from here. Eventually you will come to a Save Point with a shiny object near it. Walk over the object to find the Talk Topic [You're So Strong...] for Cloche. You can view this now at the Save Point - your characters could probably use a rest, anyway. When you're done, go up the north path to find a BEADY SLIP in a crate. Equip the armor to Luca, then go back to the Save Point and follow the tracks west. ------------- General Store (WP105) ------------- There will be a scene here. Save at the Save Point outside the store if you need to. Exit south so you don't have to go through Souffle Axis again, unless you want to level up a little more and get Dive Points. Choose Rakshek from the menu. ------- Rakshek (WP106) ------- After the scene, go to Axis Courtyard. Enter the restaurant for a scene. [New Recipe - Rollcake] If you don't already have PonPom Milk and a PuchiPuni Egg you can buy them from a man standing outside of the restaurant. Talk to Skycat to give her the ingredients. She will also give you a short Synthesis tutorial. [The Synthesis system is now available] [New Tutorial - Shop Synthesis] You should have an adequate amount of DP for Luca after going through the Souffle Axis, so go to the Dive Shop and finish the first level of her Cosmosphere. There will be a short scene when you enter the Dive Shop. You will need a total of 115 DP. Refer to the Luca's Cosmosphere Level 1 (RVLC01) section of this guide for more information. After diving into Luca for the first time, her [First Experience With Luca] Topic becomes available. If her first Cosmosphere level has been completed, a second Talk Topic, [Dive #1] will also unlock. Exit to the World Map and choose General Store. ------------- General Store (WP107) ------------- There will be a scene upon entering the store if you have the item Sasha asked for. [New Recipe - Bomb Specs] [You can now synthesize at the General Store] [New Location - Mikry Forest] Cloche and Luca both have a new Talk Topic; Cloche's is [Sasha #1] and Luca's is [You Are Nice To Children]. Both Cloche and Luca can synthesize at the General Store, so you can try making the Bomb Specs Recipe. Items will turn out different depending on the Reyvateil that makes it. There's nothing else you can do here, so exit south to the World Map. There is an event in Rakshek where you will receive a Recipe Card, but you won't have the ingredients necessary until after going to the Mikry Forest. Skip the next section if you want to wait until after going to the forest. ------- Rakshek (WP108) ------- Restaurant Shop Event 2: When you enter Rakshek, there will be a short scene with Skycat telling you to go to the restaurant. Enter the restaurant for another scene. [New Recipe - Warm Soup] Unfortunately, Luca can't make the recipe yet because you don't have a Beast's Tooth, but at least you got the Recipe. Exit Rakshek and select Mikry Forest from the World Map. ------------ Mikry Forest (WP109) ------------ Items: Enemies: 250 Leaf Reptite Crack Bolt Wyvern (I.P.D. Note: I ran into the I.P.D. Tentuck on the second screen of the area. Tentuck is a level 1 I.P.D. and will spawn in various locations. If she is here, don't worry; she's an easy kill, especially with your new Song Magic.) Follow the path west and take the first north path, which crosses the tracks. This leads to a dead-end with two crates that have a CRACK BOLT and 250 LEAF inside. The Crack Bolt is a stronger weapon for Croix... finally. Go back and continue west, where there will be a scene. [New Item - Growth Crystal] The Talk Topic [What's Up With That?] for Cloche is available after the scene. Save and rest at the Save Point. Ignore the north path on the previous screen for now and go west from the Save Point. You will be on the World Map. Select Rakshek... again. If you do not want to do any side events, then skip to Mint Block. ------- Rakshek (WP110) ------- General Store Shop Event 1: Sasha will tell you to visit her shop when you enter Rakshek. If you go to the General Store, though, you won't get anything except a very short scene. Restaurant Shop Event 3: Go to the restaurant; there will be a scene with Skycat. Have Luca make the Recipe Warm Soup; you will get the item Trulyworthit Soup. Making the soup will unlock a Talk Topics [Cooking] for Luca and [Luca's Cooking] for Cloche. Restaurant Shop Events 4 and 5: If you exit and re-enter the Restaurant twice, there will be two more scenes with Skycat. Leave Rakshek and choose Mint Block from the World Map. ---------- Mint Block (WP111) ---------- After the scene, go to Sundries Store. The [For A Change] Cloche Talk Topic is on the floor of the store. When you have this, go to Luca's House and watch the scene. [The Dualstall system is now available] Place and crystal in the bath and position Cloche and Luca near it so they will move over it and gain the effects. This is how Reyvateils level up and it can also increase their Synchronization level. You should get a Heroine Topic while in the bathtub; press X to view it. [New Tutorial - Dualstall] After all of the scenes, go to the Town Map and re-enter Luca's House. The Talk Topic [Pippen...] for Cloche is on the second floor. In addition to this, two Talk Topics for Luca became available: [In The Bathroom] and [Luca and Reisha]. If you have a Walking Grego from synthesizing, a second Heroine Topic is available in the Dualstall. Just place the Walking Grego near the girls to activate the conversation. Also, another Dualstall Talk Topic will be available if you got the Smiley Girl Song Magic for Luca, but it may take several times to activate. By this time you should have gotten enough Talk Topics and Dive Points to go through the second levels of Cloche (RVCC02) and Luca's (RVLC02) Cosmospheres. Go to the Dive Shop in Rakshek to do these. Cloche's [Cosmosphere #2] Talk Topic unlocks when you complete the second level of her Cosmosphere. Luca's [Goro] Topic will become available as soon as you enter the second level of her Cosmosphere and the Topic [Dive #2] unlocks when you complete it. Go to the Mikry Forest when you are finished. ------------ Mikry Forest (WP112) ------------ Items: Enemies: None Reptite Wyvern Remember that north path I told you to ignore before? That's where we're going now. First, change Cloche and Luca into their new costumes; they will each get a new Talk Topic called [Costume #1] after wearing them for three battles. Anyway, follow the north path across the tracks and eventually you'll come to a Save Point. Continue along the path for a scene. ....right. You've fought these enemies before; they were easy then and they are pointlessly easy now. [New Party Member - Leglius] A new Heroine Topic is available - [About Life Extension]. Rest at the nearby Save Point to see it. Head back the way you came until you see another cut-scene. [New Party Member - Amarie] Use the Dualstall at the Save Point; there are two new Topics for Cloche and Luca to talk about and no extra items are needed. The first one is about Life Extending Agents and the second on is about Luca's Towel. Place Cloche and Luca next to each other to make the second one activate. Leave Mikry Forest and go to Mint Block. ---------- Mint Block (WP113) ---------- Go to Luca's House to see a long series of scenes. [New Location - Enna City] There isn't anything else to do now, so leave Mint Block and select Enna from the World Map. --------- Enna City (WP114) --------- Pharmacy Shop Event 1: Go to Market Row and enter the building directly across from you for a cut-scene with a familiar face to those who have played the first Ar tonelico. [New Recipe - Basic Powder] The game doesn't tell you, but you can also synthesize items in Spica's store. The Talk Topic [Medicine With Skull Sign] for Cloche is on the floor of the store, as well. Leave the store and follow the road west, along the building. There is another Talk Topic for Cloche - [Too Crowded!] on the road, behind a soldier. You can view these now at the Inn, which is the next building on the left. Leave Market Row and choose Enna Palace Ruins from the Town Map. ----------------- Enna Palace Ruins (WP115) ----------------- Items: Enemies: 550 Leaf Armor Guard Attractive Wear Eggplant Bird Butterfly Ball Guardian Curel A x2 Mute Mail Silur Fabric x2 Spirit Tyril Fruit x2 I.P.D.s: Tandy Lv. 1, Yuri Lv. 1 Follow the path and take the first north, where you will find two chests. The chests contain a CUREL A and 250 LEAF. Return to the previous screen and continue east. Again, go north the next chance you get. There are two chests containing ATTRACTIVE WEAR and a BUTTERFLY BALL. Go through the north door to fight the I.P.D. Yuri. Go ahead and fight her; she's joined by two Reptites, but is still very easy. Have Cloche build up a Song Magic for two turns and then release it, just as you've probably done to the other I.P.D.s so far. There are two chests in the back of the room which have a CUREL A and SILUR FABRIC inside. Go all the way back to the main path and follow it east as far as it goes, ignoring the north paths for now. There are two chests at the end, containing 300 LEAF and TYRIL FRUIT x2. Turn around and go up the first north path. Follow it for awhile to find a chest with the Dualithnode Crystal SPIRIT. Exit east to encounter the second I.P.D - Tandy. She's easy as well, so just use the same strategy you have been using. Follow the path until you come to a chest that contains SILUR FABRIC. Go back to the main path again head west until you reach the wide path with several columns and follow it up the stairs. Save and rest at the Save Point if you need to, then go east, ignore the stairs and open the chest at the end for MUTE MAIL. Exit up the stairs you just passed by. --------- Enna City (WP116) --------- Pharmacy Shop Event 2: Enter the Pharmacy for a short scene with Spica. [New Recipe - Black Pill] Pharmacy Shop Event 3: Fight a couple battles then enter the Pharmacy. [New Recipe - Basic Compound] Luca has a new Talk Topic called [Soope]. There are also a couple more Heroine Topics you can get from the Dualstall. For the first one, place Herbal Jewel in the bath. For the second one you will have to buy two Dualithnode Crystals from a shop, if you haven't already. Place five Crystals in the bath to trigger it. A third Topic will be available if Cloche and Luca went up three levels by bathing, which they should have by now. Since there is a Dive Shop in Enna, you might as well go through level three of Luca's Cosmosphere (RVLC03). You will need at least 1245 Dive points, so if you don't have it, fight a few battles in Enna Palace Ruins. Completing level 3 of Luca's Cosmosphere unlocks her Talk Topic [Dive #3]. When you're done, exit to the World Map for some scenes. A new Talk Topic [Any Normal Friends?] for Cloche unlocks after this. ---------- Mint Block (WP117) ---------- General Store Shop Event 2: The game puts you at Mint Block, but there's a couple events at the General Store you might as well see now. [New Recipe - DIY! Knitting] General Store Shop Event 3: Exit the store and re-enter it; it's just a scene. Head back to Mint Block when you're done and go to Luca's House. When you gain control again, try to exit the house for another scene. [New Location - Ironplate Desert] The Talk Topic [Glad You Came?] for Luca is available. There is another Shop Event that we might as well activate before going to the Ironplate Desert - you'll get another Recipe Card out of it. Restaurant Shop Event 6: Go to the Restaurant in Rakshek; Skycat should also tell you to go there when you enter the city. [New Recipe - Fancy Pastalian] Select Ironplate Desert from the World Map when you're finished. ---------------- Ironplate Desert (WP118) ---------------- Items: Enemies: 750 Leaf Eggplant Bird Attractive Wear Reptite Beast's Tooth Sesame Pom Blade Ring Butterfly Ball Colored Twig x2 Curel A x5 Fruit Drop x4 Funboon x2 Harmonizer Kurku Cake Bar Pippencuit First, equip the Lady Emperor costume on Luca. After wearing it for 6 battles, her Talk Topic [Costume #2] will unlock. Move forward until you come to a split and take the north path first. There are two crates there containing a BEAST'S TOOTH and 200 LEAF. Return and go east this time and take the first north path. Continue north as far as you can; you'll be at a dead-end with two crates that have PIPPENCUIT and CUREL A x3 inside. Go one screen south and then east, to the path you passed before. There is a crate on the path containing a KURKU CAKE BAR. Keep going along the path; you will eventually come to an area with three crates. You will find FRUIT DROP x3, CUREL A, and a BUTTERFLY BALL inside of them. Go back west, and then south. On the next screen, take the east path. Go up the next north path for a crate containing CUREL A. Go back to the previous screen and head east. There is a chest along this path, right before it splits northing again. Inside the chest is 300 LEAF. Go up the north path... This area is a little confusing, so bear with me. On the next screen, there is a chest right in front of where you enter. It has ATTRACTIVE WEAR inside. Go left from here and then north; you should be in a dead-end with a chest containing FRUIT DROP. Head back to the chest that had the Attractive Wear and go east this time. There is a chest on the north side of this area that has a HARMONIZER inside of it. Continue following the path as it curves north to a dead-end with two chests containing COLORED TWIG x2 and 250 LEAF. Go two screens south from here so that you're back on the main 'road.' Head east; there's a chest with BLADE RING inside just before the screen changes. There is a Save Point on the next screen; use it and go up the north path to find a chest with FUNBOON x2 inside. Return to the previous screen and follow the east path, where a cut-scene will occur. You can't win this battle - in fact, you'll probably be killed before you can do anything. You'll automatically be taken to your next destination... --------------- Grand Bell Hall (WP119) --------------- Items: Animal Bustier Crack Bolt Mute Mail Parameno Ring Refresh Core Silverstrand Flare Go up the stairs and ignore the first split. Do not go in the blue doors yet. Instead, follow the right path across a balcony and into a tunnel area. Go into the south cell to find a crate with a REFRESH CORE inside. Exit the south cell area from the door on the right and go straight forward into the north cell. There is a chest in the north cell, but unfortunately you can't see it, so we have to rely on the exclamation mark that pops up above Croix's head. Go as far north in the cell as you can, then move left until you see the exclamation mark; inside the chest is a PARAMENO RING. Start heading back to the main hallway. After crossing the balcony and going through the door, go into the room to the north. You should be on another balcony area with two chests that contain SILVERSTRAND FLARE and ANIMAL BUSTIER. There isn't anything you can do up the stairs, so this time really go back to the main hallway. Again, don't go in the blue doors yet; go down the left path. Follow it all the way to the end; you'll be on a balcony with two chests that have CRACK BOLT and MUTE MAIL inside. Once you have everything, go through the blue doors. There will be a very short scene and a forced battle. I hesitate to call this a boss fight, but... -------------------------------Boss Fight-------------------------------------- Boss: ??? ??? is joined by two Origin Guards this time. Unfortunately for him, your characters could probably still be at level 1 and beat him. Have Luca charge up an offensive Song Magic for a couple turns, while your front-line characters pound the crap out of them. Release the Song Magic, and that's it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the fight, you'll receive an unwarranted amount of EXP, DP, and some nice items. There will also be a cut-scene revealing just how unfit ???'s voice is for him. -------- Pastalia (WP120) -------- *Warning: Do NOT go to Croix's house yet; if you do, you may miss out on one of Luca's Talk Topics.* Choose Waterfall Hill Park from the Town Map; near a woman in the big, circle area is a Talk Topic for Luca called [Isn't It Creepy?]. After you have that, go to Pastalia City. Weapon Shop Event 1: Enter the Weapon Shop (remember Cynthia?) It's the first door on the right of Pastalia City. Go into the Dive Shop; there is a Talk Topic for Luca called [Dive Shops Are The Same]. Luca has an additional Talk Topic - [I Miss Her] - that became available after going through Grand Bell Hall. ****Last Warning: Follow the instructions in the paragraph below carefully so you do not miss out on any Talk Topics.**** Leave Pastalia and go to Luca's House in Mint Block to rest and view the Talk Topics, since you cannot do it at Croix's House. Why Luca's House? Because there is yet another Talk Topic for Luca to pick up, sitting on the upstairs floor. This one is called [Are You Always Like That?]. After you are sure you have done everything you need to do, return to Pastalia and enter Croix's House. Go to Pastalia City after the scene, and then to Waterfall Hill Park after another scene. Return to Pastalia City again Cloche has a new Talk Topic called [Arguing Over What?]. Go back to Waterfall Hill Park and go inside the Fancy Shop to find the [Do You Like Fancy Shops?] Talk Topic for Cloche. You should have enough Talk Topics with Cloche to go through level 3 of her Cosmosphere.. However, you'll actually be going through both level 3 and 4 - you'll see what I mean. It will cost less than 1,000 DP total, so you should have more than enough for it. Anyway, after going through both levels, Cloche will have two new Talk Topics - [Cosmosphere #3] and [Cosmosphere #4]. There's just one more small errand to do before continuing the story... General Store Shop Event 4 and 5: Go to the general store and re-enter it for the 5th event, which is just a scene. [New Recipe - Bathing Fun] Go to Waterfall Hill Park in Pastalia and go all the way west, down the stairs. ---------- Water Mill (WP121) ---------- Items: Enemies: 320 Leaf Sailor 0 Fallen Leaf Type I Equip the Metamorole Model costume on Cloche when you enter the area. After 5 battles she will get the [Costume #2] Talk Topic. Follow the path through the door. On the next screen, go in the room directly in front of you for a crate with 320 LEAF. Return to the previous screen and head as far east as you can go, where you should see a crate on a ledge to the north. You'll find FALLEN LEAF inside. Go a little bit to the west and go through the north exit you passed up. There will be a short scene and a forced fight with a Memories and a Guardian. [New Tutorial - Jamming] Check the in-game tutorial menu if you're confused about Jamming; it actually gives a decent explanation. Basically, if the Harmonics gauge is distorted, an enemy is using the Jamming skill, which has bad effects on Reyvateils. To get rid of the effect, kill the enemy who is doing it. ----- Slums (WP122) ----- Items: 850 Leaf Dream Socks Kurku Cake Bar I.P.D.s: Puin Lv. 2, Rabinag Lv. 2 Exit the room with the elevator and then go south; the I.P.D. Puin is here. She's a level 2 I.P.D., so she'll do a little more damage than you're used to, but it doesn't matter because Song Magic will defeat her before she does any serious damage. The same strategy for all I.P.D.s to this point works just as well on her. I used Luca's Fullcourse and it was a complete overkill. Follow the path, to the right, and go up the first north, where you will find a crate containing DREAM SOCKS. Go back to the previous screen and take the next north path. There is a chest with 400 LEAF inside along the way. Go back to the first area of the Slums. Go west this time; near the north path there is an I.P.D with greenish hair, standing near a lamp post. Talk to her and she will give you a KURKU CAKE BAR. Hey, and I thought I.P.D.s were supposed to be bad. Go up the north path and then north again, up the stairs. You'll be at a dead-end with a chest containing 450 LEAF. Go back to the previous screen and head east; eventually you will come to a Save Point. Use the Save Point as the I.P.D. Rabinag is just up ahead. The on-screen message will warn you that she will be accompanied by an enemy with jamming abilities - two Memories. Open the menu and use choose Select Target so you can take the Memories out first. Continue north and then west; there is nothing on the path to the east, so ignore it. There will be a scene, after which a forced battle against an I.P.D. Lv 3 occurs. She is by herself and easier than the Level 2 I.P.D.s you just fought, so it shouldn't be a problem. Use Luca's Fullcourse on her and she'll be finished. There will be another scene, then you'll find yourself back in Pastalia. -------- Pastalia (WP123) -------- Go to Croix's House first; there is a the Talk Topic [Same Room?] for Luca is upstairs. Weapon Shop Event 2: Enter the weapon shop for a short scene and a Recipe Card. [New Recipe - CynCro Brand I] Make the recipe to get the item Parallel Parasol, which unlocks the Talk Topic [Crafting Weapons] for Cloche. Also note that after 12 Weapon Shop Events, Cloche and Luca will get each get a Talk Topic, but you can only see one of these Topics. Weapon Shop Event 3: Re-enter the Weapon Shop for a scene. Go to the Dive Shop when you're ready. After the scene, go to the Fancy Shop for another scene. [New Item - Trendy Doll] [New Item - Pippen Strap] [The Dive Therapy system is now available] [Reine is now available for Girl Power] [The Cloche Fan Club system is now available] [The Girl Power system is now available] [New Tutorial - Dive Therapy] [New Tutorial - Cloche Fan Club] [New Tutorial - Girl Power] [New Location - Slums] Don't cure any I.D.P.s yet - there is a dualstall Talk Topic that unlocks when you have a certain amount of I.D.P.s that haven't been cured. I think that number is 10, but I'm not entirely sure. Just remember to check the list every once in awhile and go to the Dualstall. Go to Croix's House for another scene. [New Location - Grand Bell Palace] Luca has two new Talk Topics available - [Therapy Is Great] and [Lady Cloche is An Otaku]. Restaurant Shop Event 7: Go to Rakshek. Skycat will greet you when you get into the city, so go to the Restaurant. [New Recipe - No. 1 Full Course] Go to Grand Bell Palace when you're finished. --------------- Grand Bell Hall (WP124) --------------- There will be a series of scenes when you enter. [New Item - Cello Necklace] There's only one way you can go, so move forward until you reach the Save Point, and then go north. After the scene, walk through the hallway and go into the first door then continue forward. ------- Telmina (WP125) ------- Items: Enemies: Curel A Sailor 0 Geugo Type I Grathnode Ring Kettle Rice I.P.D.s: Higure Lv. 1 Go in the room across the hallway, to the left, to find a crate containing KETTLE RICE. Return to the previous screen and go as far east as you can and enter the door. Go east and eventually you will come to a door. Enter the door and follow the path; there is a chest on the way that has GEUGO inside. Go into the next door, where you'll encounter the I.P.D. Higure. She has two Sesame Poms with her and she is only a level 1 I.P.D., so she shouldn't be a problem. Go back a screen and go as far west as you can and go through the door. Follow the path to find a chest with GRATHNODE RING inside. Go through the door and open the chest to get a CUREL A. Go back two screens and then go south through the door. Go a west a little bit, and then north for a scene. ----------- I.P.D. Labs (WP126) ----------- Items: Enemies: 1100 Leaf Battle Reyvateil Fleck Scanner Magician Reyvateil I.P.D.s: Moneane Lv. 2, Nina Lv. 2 Go south; a little bit to the left is a Save Point. Go east and take the first north to fight the I.P.D Moneane and the Type 28 that is with her. Go back and continue east. Take the next north path, where you will find two chests containing 500 LEAF and a FLECK SCANNER. Head back to the Save Point and continue west. Take the second north from the Save Point to fight a second I.P.D. - Nina. Two Type Is will join her. Open the chest in the room for 600 LEAF. Go up the north path near the Save Point that you passed up for a scene. You'll be thrown into a battle against two Knights. Head through the door when you're done for more scenes. [Item Lost - Cello Necklace] --------------- Grand Bell Hall (WP127) --------------- Go to Cloche's room, which is the next room to the right. Continue east through the hallway, and then go towards the blue doors and take a right. Leave the hallway by the south exit and cross the balcony area for a scene. Start going back to the hallway for another scene. You will be next to a Save Point after the scenes. ******Warning: You will have to choose whether you'll take Cloche or Luca's route. Make sure you have a second save file at this point if you want to do them both without having to do everything you have done so far over again. If you choose Cloche, you will not be able to get Luca's ending or dive past level 5 of her Cosmosphere and vice-versa.***** Go north when you've made your decision so you can actually make the decision and continue the game. When you're finished, go to the appropriate section of this guide: Cloche's Path (WP1C00) or Luka's Path (WP1L00) ====================== Phase 1: Cloche's Path (WP1C00) ====================== Pastalia...................(WP1C01) Rakshek Resort.............(WP1C02) Resort Underground.........(WP1C03) Pastalia...................(WP1C04) Grand Bell Hall............(WP1C05) Bell Strike Hall...........(WP1C06) Promise Hill...............(WP1C07) The Slums..................(WP1C08) Water Mill/Telmina.........(WP1C09) Grand Bell Hall/Pastalia...(WP1C10) Verticave..................(WP1C11) -------- Pastalia (WP1C01) -------- Go to Grand Bell Hall and talk to Cloche. There will be another series of scenes and you'll automatically be taken to Rakshek, but there's a few things you should do first. Cloche has a new Talk Topic called [Thank You For Helping Me]. Weapon Shop Event 4: Go back to Pastalia and enter the Weapon Shop. [New Recipe - Mobility Weapon] Weapon Shop Events 5 and 6: Exit and re-enter the shop to activate these; they're both just scenes. General Store Event 6: [New Recipe - Witchcraft Manual] General Store Event 7 and 8: Re-enter the shop a couple times. They're just scenes. Now to get something else out of the way: if you check the I.P.D. Network screen (press Select in any dungeon) you will see that there are a couple I.P.D.s wandering around. For example, mine said that the I.P.D. Milou was in Enna Palace Ruins. She's only level 1 and was located on the first path to the north. I had a second one for the Ironplate Desert, where Popo (also level 1) was all the way to the east on the first screen. This is the only time I'm going to notify you about I.P.D.s that aren't 'standards' in a dungeon, as these I.P.D.s wander around randomly so I can't tell you where yours are. After getting those two I.P.D.s, there are more Shop Events... General Store Shop Event 9: It's just a scene.. Weapon Shop Event 7 and 8: You'll get a Recipe Card from the 7th event, but the 8th is just a scene. [New Recipe - High Power Weapon] Since you're done with all of that, go to Rakshek Resort. -------------- Rakshek Resort (WP1C02) -------------- Enemies: I.P.D. Sacred Soldier I.P.D.s: Junki Lv. 3, Lormil Lv. 3 There's two I.P.D.s here and they are both level 3. If you had difficulty with other I.P.D.s, then you should probably wait a little bit to fight them, especially since you only have one Reyvateil. Anyway, take the second north, and then go north again on the next screen to fight the first one - Junki. Unless your characters are over-leveled, the fight will take several turns and you will probably need to have Cloche use her healing Song. Whether you decided to defeat her or not, make your way to the resort. Rest and save at the Save Point because there is another level 3 I.P.D. coming up. There will be a scene upon entering the resort. The scene forces you onto the teleporter, so use the teleporter again to go back to Rakshek Resort to get the second I.P.D. in the area. This isn't necessary if you choose not to fight it now. The guy standing around in the entrance room of the resort has a shop. If you don't need anything from him, then go into the east hallway. Enter the second room in the hallway to find the I.P.D. Lormil, who is joined by two Wyrms. Despite having the Wyverns with her, I personally think she's a little easier than Junki. Remember - you can change Blue Magic into Red Magic and you won't lose the charge. Go back to the teleporter when you're finished. ------------------ Resort Underground (WP1C03) ------------------ Items: Enemies: 1,800 Leaf Milky Pom Dream Socks Wyrm Heat Circle Paradox Eye Skyplate x2 Go north at the first intersection. The chests here kind of blend into the floor, so be extra careful when looking for chests here. There are two of them in this room that have HEAT CIRCLE and 800 LEAF. Why does Leglius always get the new weapons? Anyway, go back to the intersection and go west this time. There is another chest sitting at the southwest corner of the path. It has SKYPLATE x2 inside. You'll find yourself at another intersection; go north. The level 2 I.P.D. Slanner was here when I went through, but she is another random one. If she's here for you, go ahead and fight her; it should be a breeze after fight level 3 I.P.D.s. Anyway, get the chest in the room that contains PARADOX EYE, then use the shorter, glowing blue thing in the room to activate an elevator. Go to the previous screen and take the west path this time. There is a chest in the room at the end of the first north path that has DREAM SOCKS inside. Go back to the main path and then take the next north. You'll come to a room with a chest containing 1,000 LEAF. Go back a screen and follow the main path to the elevator and ride it to a lower floor. There's only one way to go, so use the Save Point before exiting north. Make sure you saved and rested before going any farther. -----------------------------Boss Fight---------------------------------------- Boss: Shun, Divine Army x2 The difficulty of this fight depends on how good you are at defending. Since you only have one Reyvateil, the enemies will focus their attacks on the character guarding them, so make sure you have some kind of accessory on the character in front of Cloche to increase their HP to at least 500. The enemies will attack several times during their turn and often hit many times. If you got BBQ from the Wyrms in the area, use them to heal if needed - they'll restore almost 300 HP and are a big help when Cloche isn't healing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There will be a short scene after defeating the boss. [New Item - Replakia] -------- Pastalia (WP1C04) -------- Make sure you go to Croix's House before going to the Fancy Shop, you can see an extra scene. It will also unlock the Talk Topic [Do You Like Cocona?] for Cloche, so make sure you do this. Weapon Shop Event 9: [New Recipe - CynCro Brand II] Weapon Shop Event 10 and 11: These are both scenes, but the 11th one will give you a new Talk Topic for Cloche called [Cynthia]. Viewing this Talk Topic will make the same Talk Topic for Luca expire, but you already picked Cloche so you might as well watch hers. Go to the Fancy Shop for a scene. [New Item - Baldgo Toothbrush] [New Item - Gergo Grade A] --------------- Grand Bell Hall (WP1C05) --------------- After the long series of scenes, you will be put in a forced battle that will teach you how to use Replakia. [New Tutorial - Replakia] [New Tutorial - Super Moves] Go through the hallway until you come to a Save Point; Cloche has two new Talk Topics titled [Little Revenge] and [$1,000,000 Question]. From the Save Point, go north, east, and then north again. Go up the stairs for a short scene. ---------------- Bell Strike Hall (WP1C06) ---------------- Items: Enemies: 1900 Leaf Bird Knight Alloy Mail Milky Pom Animal Bustier Reyvateil Blossom Cloak Exquisite Screw x3 Healo B x4 Paradox Eye Pastalia Bottle x2 Patience Button Pira Theory 2 Skyplate At the first split, go east, then north to find a room with two chests that contain 800 LEAF and HEALO B x3. Return to the previous screen and go west, then north. Go east from the elevator and then north to find another two chests that have EXQUISITE SCREW x3 and ANIMAL BUSTIER. Return to the previous screen and go as far south as you can and then east; there's a chest next to an elevator with ALLOY MAIL inside. Turn around, and go as far west as you can this time. You should end up on a ledge are with another two chests containing HEALO B and BLOSSOM CLOAK. Return to the previous screen and go north, then as far to the east as you can. The level 3 I.P.D Nao was here for me (she's another random one.) Fight her if she's there; it should be easy now that you have two Reyvateils again. Either way, go north again to find a room with two chests to get 600 LEAF and a SKYPLATE. The second chest is a little hidden in the south-east corner. Go back to the main room and use the elevator that you passed up before, located in the south-east corner. Go all the way north and then east. Take the first north to come to a room with a chest containing PASTALIA BOTTLE x2. Go back to the previous screen and continue east. Go up the next north to another room with a chest containing PARADOX EYE. Go back to the main room and go north; there are two chest in this room that have a PATIENCE BUTTON and 500 LEAF inside. Head back to the main room and take the elevator in the north-west corner. To the very right of the elevator is a chest with PIRA THEORY 2 inside. You can't go anywhere else for now, so take the north exit. -------------------------------Boss Fight-------------------------------------- Boss: Shun, Divine Army x2 When are we going to get a new boss!? This fight is similar to the last one, except this time you have two Reyvateils again, so it's much, much easier. Simply have Luca charge up Easy Fullcourse for two turns; when you release it, the enemies will be dead or almost dead. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [New Location - Promise Hill] [New Location - Bell Strike Hall] -------- Pastalia (WP1C06) -------- Even though there's something a little more important to be doing, you might as well go around and make the her version of items that she wasn't around to make at the shops that have synthesis - except for the Weapon Shop. Also, the Fancy Shop has a new weapon called Lip Hammer, for Cocona. Finally! Restaurant Shop Event 8: By the way... When you enter Rakshek and Skycat tells you that she has 'lotsa things to talk about,' she isn't joking. [New Recipe - Eattle Brand I] Restaurant Shop Event 9 and 10: These are just scenes. Go to the World Map and choose Promise Hill when you're finished. ------------ Promise Hill (WP1C07) ------------ Items: Enemies: 2300 Leaf Blue Wyvern Alloy Mail Boxguard Lizard Ardel Crystal Demon Crystalune x2 Healo B Parameno Ring Pastalia Bottle x3 Patience Button x2 Skyplate x2 Start by going north to find a room with two chests containing PARAMENO RING and PASTALIA BOTTLE x3. Go back a screen and go east this time. Take the first north to find another two chests that have HEALO B and 1000 LEAF inside. Turn around and continue east. Skip the next north, and go up the next; there are two chests here that contain an ARDEL CRYSTAL and CRYSTALUNE. Return to the previous screen and go as far to the east as you can to find a chest; open it to get SKYPLATE x2. Take the nearby north to find another chest, which contains PATIENCE BUTTON x2. Go all the way west to the north path that you passed by earlier - it's the one with the blue, glowing things next to it. Hey, that scene tried to make you miss some items! Go south; along the east wall is a path, but the columns block your view. There are two chests in this room that have ALLOY MAIL and 1300 LEAF inside. Go back a screen and take the northern east path. The I.P.D. Chichi was here when I went through, but she wanders around randomly. If she's here, she's only level 1 and you'll probably defeat her in a single turn. Anyway, there's only one chest here, so open it to get CRYSTALUNE. Go back to the previous screen and go west this time. Use the Save Point, then take the second north path. After the scene, head towards the exit of Promise Hill to initiate another scene. Choose Pastalia from the World Map, and then go to the Slums. --------- The Slums (WP1C08) --------- Items: Curel A x2 Songstone I.P.D.s: Takomi Lv. 2 You'll be thrown into a battle against three Heavenly Messengers as soon as you enter The Slums. There will be some more scenes once they're defeated. Remember that I.P.D. Reyvateil that gave you an item before? She's still standing next to the lamp post, straight ahead of you. This time, she has a Songstone for you. After getting your item, which you already have plenty of, take the eastern-most north path. After the scene, exit the room and go south. Take the second north path for another scene. Continue forward from here. On the next screen, go up the first north. The I.P.D. Takomi is located here, but she's only level 2. An I.P.D. that looks totally different? No way! After you're finished with her, open the chest in the room for CUREL A x2. Return to the previous screen and take the next north to find an elevator that actually works. Get on the elevator for another scene. ----------------- Watermill/Telmina (WP1C09) ----------------- Items: Enemies: 500 Leaf Type I Gergo x2 Hate Light Feather x3 Pira Theory 1 Songstone x3 I.P.D.s: Aura Lv. 3, Laloon Lv. 2, Zora Lv. 3 Before I say anything else - this area is all connected, so there really aren't endless screens; the east area just eventually connects with the west. Go through the door between the two lifts to fight a level 2 I.P.D. - Laloon. Go east to the next screen and enter the little door to the door to find two crates. You'll find LIGHT FEATHER x3 and 500 LEAF inside. Continue east and go through the next little door to find a crate with SONGSTONE x3 inside. Go back to the hallway and continue going east, and then south. You'll find three crates and a Save Point here. Inside the chests are GERGO x2, PIRA THEORY 1, and HATE. Once you've gotten everything, go onto Lift III and go to the I.P.D. Labs. Why? Well, there's an I.P.D. here and we might as well get her now. When you get there, go west, use the Save Point (just in case,) and then head up the first north. Zora, the level 3 I.P.D. is found here. Go back to the elevator and ride it to Grand Bell Palace. Go east and enter the door to the north and continue going north until you get to the next I.P.D. - Aura, who is level 3. After you've defeated Aura, go south several screens to get to Grand Bell Hall. ------------------------ Grand Bell Hall/Pastalia (WP1C10) ------------------------ Go to the right until you reach the blue doors and go inside. You'll be in Pastalia after the scenes. So, before going to Croix's House... Restaurant Shop Event 11: [New Recipe - After Meal Dessert] Go to Croix's House for more scenes. [New Location - Verticave] Choose Verticave from the World Map. It's actually located above Pastalia. --------- Verticave (WP1C11) --------- Items: Enemies: 3100 Leaf Blade Master Antique Document Poison Drake BBQ x2 Twin Wing Blossom Cloak Crystalune x2 Exquisite Screw x3 HolyWish Parameno Ring Pastalia Bottle x2 Patience Button x2 Skyplate Stripey Knee Socks I.P.D.s: Arna Lv.4, Cyanne Lv.4, Nasha Lv. 4, Sorami Lv. 4 Follow the path uphill; on the next screen, there is chest to the right of the north path. You'll find ANTIQUE DOCUMENT inside. Go as far north as you can to fight the I.P.D. Cyanne. She is a level 4, but her attacks are fairly easy to block. There are two chests in the area that you fought her containing 1000 LEAF and a SKYPLATE. Go back a screen and go up the west path. At the top, open the chest for STRIPEY KNEE SOCKS. Keep going west; when you get to a split, go north. Nasha, a level 4 I.P.D. will be there. She can heal herself, so charge up a Song Magic as much as you can so you can beat her before she has the chance. There's a chest in the north-east corner that contains HOLYWISH. Go back to the previous screen and take the upper eastern path; look towards the north while going up to find an area with two chests. Open the chests to find CRYSTALUNE x2 and PASTALIA BOTTLE x2. Turn around and continue going up until you come to an intersection with a Save Point at the center. Start by going east to come to a dead-end with a chest containing a PATIENCE BUTTON. Head back to the Save Point and go north, where you will find a chest directly in front of you; you'll find a PARAMENO RING inside. Go to the left from here, then take the first north to another level 4 I.P.D. - Sorami. Open the chest in the area you fought Sorami to get BBQ. Go back a screen and continue west to get another chest with... BBQ, again. Go all the way east, back where you came from and up a winding path. Skip the first north for now, and go up the second. You should end up in a dead-end with two chests. Open them for 1000 LEAF and EXQUISITE SCREW x3. Turn around and head up the path you skipped before. There's a chest in the middle area of the winding path that has a BLOSSOM CLOAK inside. Continue upwards and go north when you can to fight the level 4 I.P.D. Arna, who is joined by a Heavenly Messenger. After Arna has been defeated, open the two chests in the area for 1100 LEAF and a PATIENCE BUTTON. Go back a screen and continue upwards; you should end up at a Save Point. Save your game, rest, etc., then exit to the west. You'll be on the World Map... sort of. Select Lone City. ===================== Phase 2: Solid Heaven (WP2C00) ===================== Lone City...............(WP2C01) Perjury.................(WP2C02) Lone City...............(WP2C03) Free Prison.............(WP2C04) Lone City...............(WP2C05) Melancholia.............(WP2C06) Lone City...............(WP2C07) Cobble Box..............(WP2C08) Lone City...............(WP2C09) Moon Cloud..............(WP2C10) Lone City...............(WP2C11) Star Desert.............(WP2C12) Lone City...............(WP2C13) Amnesty.................(WP2C14) Lone City...............(WP2C15) Love Flow...............(WP2C16) Lone City...............(WP2C17) Tainted Sky.............(WP2C18) Lone City...............(WP2C19) Tangy Alley.............(WP2C20) Lone City...............(WP2C21) Imperial................(WP2C22) GBH Mother Ship.........(WP2C23) Cat Mansion.............(WP2C24) Talk Topic Collecting...(WP2C25) Promise Hill............(WP2C26) Enna....................(WP2C27) --------- Lone City (WP2C01) --------- After the scene, you'll be forced into battle. There will be some more scenes after this. When you gain control, keep going north - there isn't anything on the little side-paths. The tent on the left is a store that looks suspiciously like Mint Sundries.. Oh, well. It has a couple useful things, such as the Card of Reset and the Spherial Pose. You'll find out what they're for later. The Inn is the lower right tent, so enter it to continue the story. After the scene, rest at the Inn. [Infelsphere system is now available] [New Tutorial - Infelsphere] [New Tutorial - Sphere Points] After the scenes, Luca will have three new Talk Topics. They are [It's Like Lady Cloche], [First Infelsphere Dive], and [Don't Tell Leglius]. You can dive into the 4th level of Luca's Cosmosphere (RVLC04) now. The upper right tent is the Dive Shop. Luca will have the Talk Topic [Dive #4] after completing level 4. Anyway, once you're done, exit to the World Map. Take the north exit so you won't have to walk through the forest area again and select Perjury from the World Map. ------- Perjury (WP2C02) ------- Enemies: Heavenly Messenger Lolipops This is pretty straightforward; the enemies appear on-screen here. They are annoyingly persistent, so you'll probably end up having to fight most, if not all, of the enemies on the first screen. Before fighting anything, equip the Pretty Cherry costume on Luca - after a few battles, the Talk Topic [Costume #3] will unlock. When you get to the second screen, go as far to the west as you can (you should pass a little sign post that says "Please give us love") and go out of the north-west exit. On the screen after that, move west to find a Talk Topic for Luca - [Lady Cloche!] Go back south-east to the previous screen. Go east from here; when you get to the previously mentioned signpost, start going north, to the next screen. There's only one way to go, so follow along the curving path to the next screen, which is where the altar and the main enemy are. The enemies are two Heavenly Messengers and one Twin Wing, both of which you've fought several times already. [New Item - Sphere Key: 1A] Go up the path to the right to exit the area. --------- Lone City (WP2C03) --------- There will be a short scene when you get back. Go to the Inn and use the Infelsphere, however, you won't be actually using it just yet. Exit the Inn for a scene. [New Infelsphere Point - Lvl 1: Determination] You can leave the Infelsphere and save, if you want. The Heroine Talk Topic [Looks Real] is available now - just rest at the Inn to get it. As for Dualstall initiated Topics, if you made a Duckie with Luca earlier, put one in the bath for another Heroine Talk Topic. Remember when I told you about the Card of Reset in the shop? They will let you redo an event in the Infelsphere so you can see what happens if you pick the second choice. You don't have to do this - it just allows you to see different scenes. Go back to the Infelsphere when you're ready. Go to the Determined Land. It will cost 50 SP. Just choose the first option to unlock the Free Prison. The scene for the second choice has very minimal differences, so you won't be missing anything if you don't choose the second choice. Exit the Infelsphere and select Free Prison from the World Map. ----------- Free Prison (WP2C04) ----------- Items: Enemies: 2000 Leaf Heavenly Messenger Droopy Soda x4 Lolipops Giga Milk Unfortunately, your party's HP doesn't show up on the screen, so you will have to open the menu to see how much damage you've taken. If you're somewhat low on health and too far away from Cloche, enter a battle and use healing Song Magic to recover what you've lost. Keep an eye on Luca and Cloche's HP, especially, as they probably don't have much to begin with. Your characters will not actually die from this, however; they will be left with 1 HP. There is only one way you can go for now - west. After awhile, you'll eventually come to a split; go east for a chest with 2000 LEAF inside. Turn around and go north until you reach the second split. The east path leads to a chest containing GIGA MILK. After opening the chest, go back to the split and head north. Continue following the path until you reach a third split; go to the south-west here to find a chest that has DROOPY SODA x4 inside. When you're done, go north, where you will find two different paths leading west. Take the north-most path to find the Talk Topic [You Are Relentless] for Luca, and also a chest containing REPLICA HORN x3. Backtrack a little and take the southern west path, which leads uphill. Fight one of the enemies at the top to heal your party using Song Magic so you don't waste your items. Continue along the platforms until you come to a cave - check your party's HP one last time, and go in. You will have to defeat three Heavenly Messengers and one Twin Wing [New Item - Sphere Key: 1B] After the scenes, leave the area and choose Melancholia from the World Map. --------- Lone City (WP2C05) --------- Choose to use the Infelsphere. [New Infelphere Point - Lv. 1: Causality] Go to Causality and choose the first option to unlock the area Melancholia on the World Map. The second option will show you a very different outcome, so use a Card of Reset if you want to see it. ----------- Melancholia (WP2C06) ----------- Go through the door after the scene, and pick up Luca's [That Was Tiring] Talk Topic on the right side of the room. This is ridiculously easy; there is absolutely no puzzle to be found here. Literally, just push the books to the closest shelf and you're done. You can move book stacks that have already been placed again, so push a stack of books to the shelf with the block in front of it from either bookshelf to the side of it. [New Item - Sphere Key 1C] --------- Lone City (WP2C07) --------- Go back to the Inn use the Infelsphere. [New Infelphere Point - Lv 1: Conqueror's Heart] Go to Conqueror's Heart. It will cost 50 SP. Pick the second choice to unlock Cobble Box - you've already been to the area the first choice unlocks, which is the Free Prison. Use a Card of Reset here - both outcomes are interesting. (Note: If it doesn't let you pick a choice, use a Card of Reset on another area. For some reason when you're at the last place, the game automatically does it for you.) Before going to the Sphere Gate, go to the Cobble Box. ---------- Cobble Box (WP2C08) ---------- Items: Enemies: 5920 Leaf Choco Pom Fleck Scanner Giant Pom Gergo x2 Heavenly Messenger Geugo x2 Lolipops Igniting Water x2 Kurku Cake Bar x3 Pippencuit x100 Go north to get to the next screen and pick up Luca's Talk Topic, which is titled [Servant?]. There are way too many chests for me to tell you what is in each one; just open all of them. I will, however, attempt to explain where each orb is. 1. Go east. On the second screen, when the path goes north, it is the second farthest chest to from you, and is to the far right - almost touching the cave wall. 2. Go north from the first orb chest. On the next screen, it is the farthest chest to the west. 3. From the entrance, go east. It is the farthest chest to the east on the second screen and is partially blocked by rock formations. 4. Go north from the entrance, passing the split. It's in the chest on the right, just before the screen changes. 5. Go north from the fourth orb. On the next screen, it's in the chest farthest to the east. There will be a short scene after you find all five orbs. [New Item - Sphere Key: 2A] There will now be random battles in the cave. If you didn't open all of the chests earlier, you can go back in and do so now. Otherwise, head back to Lone City. --------- Lone City (WP2C09) --------- Go back to the Infelsphere. [New Infelsphere Point - Lv2: First Ring] Go to Sphere Gate to get to the next level. It will cost 150 SP. [New Song Magic - Combo Magic - Cute Drive: LvE - Lollipop Sweets] Go back into the Infelphere. After the scenes, choose First Ring for 100 SP. Choose the first option to unlock Moon Cloud. Leave the Infelsphere and go to Moon Cloud when you're finished. ---------- Moon Cloud (WP2C10) ---------- Items: Pippencuit x12 Open the chest next to Cloche; you will get 30 Pippencuits from it. You need to deliver at least half of these (15) to the other Cloche. What could go wrong? Well, there are Pippens running around that will steal Pippencuits from you. The Pippens can steal more than one Pippencuit from you at a time. They also cheat; if one starts running to you, the game makes you stand still. Also, each Pippen can only steal from you once, so if one has already stolen from you, feel free to go right up to it and talk, or whatever you want to do. Move forward when you're ready. Take the west side-path to find a chest with PIPPENCUIT x5 inside. Go back to the previous screen and take the east side- path for a chest containing PIPPENCUIT x7. If you don't go for the chests, you can get through the whole area without any Pippens bothering you, by pretty much going straight through the middle of the area. Position yourself a little to the right, so you're right inbetween the pile of candy and the parfait a few steps to the right. Turn around and go back to the main area and head north to the exit. Pick up Luca's [I Wanted To Eat It] Talk Topic. It's right in the middle of the exit, so there's no way you can miss it. [New Item - Sphere Key: 2C] --------- Lone City (WP2C11) --------- Go back to the Inn and use the Infelsphere. [New Infelsphere Point - Lv2: Lean on Me] Go to Lean on Me for 100 SP. Choose the second option to unlock Star Desert. Exit the Infelsphere and go to Star Desert. ----------- Star Desert (WP2C12) ----------- Items: Enemies: 3807 Leaf Choco Pom Colored Twig x3 Giant Pom Curel A Heavenly Messenger Fruit Drop Lolipops Healo B x5 Kurku Cake Bar x2 Pippencuit x2 Ticklish Fuzz x4 This is very similar to the Cobble Box. Because there are so many dig spots, I'm just going to direct you to the locations of the three Stars of Hope. 1. Go to the right, hugging the 'wall.' The first star is in the second dig spot that appears. 2. Go as far west as you can from the starting point. The second star is located just under the little wall of stars that splits the path. Before getting the third star, go north. When you get to the next screen, move south to find the Talk Topic [Love? Perseverance?] for Luca. 3. From where you found the Talk Topic, go south-west, following the path to the end. You should be in front of another wall of stars. Dig in front of the biggest star to find the third star. [New Item - Sphere Key: 3B] You can go back and dig for the rest of the items after the scene. There will be random battles as you walk around. --------- Lone City (WP2C13) --------- Use the Infelsphere. [New Infelsphere Point - Lv3: Flyfront Pact] You won't be going there just yet, though; there's still a few more places unlocked from level 2 for you to explore. Use a Card of Reset on the First Ring and choose the second option. This will unlock Amnesty on the World Map. Exit the Infelsphere and go there now. ------- Amnesty (WP2C14) ------- Go through the hallway and into the door at the end. Luca's Talk Topic [Wanna Break?] is on the floor in front of Cloche. Talk to her once you've gotten it to start the trial. She will ask you for 500 Leaf to play the 'game,' but you should have plenty of Leaf by now. The price to play increases if you lose. This may be random, but Annie was always in the at the right at the end, except if I lost the first time. If you end up losing track of her, try choosing "Right." If she's not there the first time: First of all, email me and let me know, and secondly, it's an easy shuffle game that we've all seen before, so you shouldn't have a problem on your own. [New Item - Sphere Key: 2B] --------- Lone City (WP2C15) --------- Use the Infelsphere again. [New Infelsphere Point - Lv2: Scarlet Land] Go to Scarlet Land. You won't be given a choice during this and will automatically unlock Love Flow. Exit the Infelsphere and go to Love Flow. --------- Love Flow (WP2C16) --------- Your objective is to figure out which Cloche is the real Cloche, judging by what they say. Start by going north; you should see a Talk Topic for Cloche to the right, which is titled [What If I'm Wrong?]. So, which is the real Cloche? She's the one walking around the east area of the first screen who says, "How do you do? I'm sorry but I don't need you." After you've located her, go back to the first screen and tell Cloche that you've found her. Hopefully you remembered where the real Cloche was, because now you have to go find her again. [New Item - Sphere Key: 3A] --------- Lone City (WP2C17) --------- Use the Infelsphere... again. [New Infelsphere Point - Lv 3: Emotional Bomb] When you get there, go to Sphere Gate. This will cost you 200 SP. [New Song Magic - Combo Magic - Brave Thunder: LvE - MonSun Girl] Re-enter the Infelsphere and choose to go to Emotional Bomb for 150 SP. Pick the second choice to unlock Tainted Sky on the World Map. ----------- Tainted Sky (WP2C18) ----------- Cloche will give you a Flame Cleaner when you enter the area. Enter the gates to start the trial; you have to clean all of the trash in all three rooms. Luca's [Why in the Bathroom?] Talk Topic is located at the bottom of the ramp on the east screen; you'll have to clean up the trash to see it. [New Item - Sphere Key: 3C] That's all you have to do here, so go back to Lone City. --------- Lone City (WP2C19) --------- Go to the Infelsphere. [New Infelsphere Point - Lv3: Underground Fires] Enter Flyfront Pact. The game probably won't give you a choice, but if it does, choose the first option. ----------- Tangy Alley (WP2C20) ----------- Cloche will ask you a question when you enter; choose "Candy" or you'll be kicked out of the area and will have to re-enter it. First of all, you can check the sign to the right to get an over-head view of the area. After you're done, go through and try to get more pineapples than candy. You will automatically pick them up when Croix touches them, so it's pretty much inevitable that you will pick up a few pieces of candy on accident. Near the exit of the second screen is a Talk Topic for Luca titled [This Is Too Much...]. Talk to Cloche on the third screen to complete the trial. [New Item - Sphere Key: 3D] --------- Lone City (WP2C21) --------- Use the Infelsphere at the Inn. [New Infelsphere Point - Lv3: Icy Fire Dance] Enter Icy Fire Dance and choose the second option to unlock Imperial. Go to Underground Fires when you're finished to see the scenes here. You won't get a choice unless you reset other areas, but there aren't any new places to unlock here, but there is a piece of art to unlock. Finally, go to Sphere Gate. It will cost 250 SP. [New Song Magic - Combo Magic - Mind Zapper: LvE - Icefall Dragon] Try to enter the Infelsphere again for a scene. This is as far as you can go for now. Before going to Imperial, you might as well go through level 5 of Luca's Cosmosphere (RVLC05). Since you picked Cloche's path, you will never be able to complete Luca's Cosmosphere on this play through; you will not even be able to unlock her costume or fully complete level 5. -------- Imperial (WP2C22) -------- Items: Enemies: 3900 Leaf Choco Pom BBQ x2 Necromancer Crystalune Nightmare Energy Spear Twin Wing Floatstone Type Zero Kokoweed Seed x2 Midday Moon Pastalia Coat Patience Button x2 Pumpquash x2 Skyplate Tartarus' Call x3 After the scene, enter the door ahead of you. Inside, go north to reach an elevator, and take it up. Head to the room in the north-west corner to find two chests that contain PUMPQUASH x2 and ENERGY SPEAR. Go back to the previous screen and head sout-east and get on the elevator at the end of the path. Go as far west as you can, passing the north split. Stop to open the chest in the middle of the hallway that has CRYSTALUNE inside, then continue moving west. There are two more chests in the room inside. Open them to get BBQ and... BBQ. Head all the way back to the split and go north. Take the elevator at the end to the next floor. Go through the hallway and enter the north room; there is a chest here that has TARTARUS' CALL x3. Return to the previous screen and go south Take the first north to find a room with two chests, which contain 500 LEAF and KOKOWEED SEED x2. Turn around and take the next north, which leads to the next elevator. Go down the lower east hallway and open the chest at the end for a FLOATSTONE. Turn around and take the west path this time. There are two chests in the room at the end that have SKYPLATE and 1500 LEAF inside. Return to the larger area and go north. Open the chest with PASTALIA COAT inside, then ride the elevator next to it. Follow the path to a Save Point. The Heroine Talk Topic [Go Home Already] is available to see now. Go east when the path splits; there's a chest in the hallway that contains MIDDAY MOON. Go back around to the Save Point and go west this time. There is another chest opposite to the chest that had the Midday Moon inside; this one has 1200 LEAF. After opening both chests, take the elevator to the south. There are two elevators on this floor. Ride the west elevator first; follow the path and go into the north room to find a chest with 700 LEAF inside. Return to the hallway and follow it; there is a chest at the end that contains PATIENCE BUTTON x2. Ride the elevator back up to the previous floor, then take the east elevator this time. Move through the hallway and enter the room at the north for some scenes. --------------------------------Boss Fight------------------------------------- Boss: Mind Guardian Guarding during this fight can be a little tricky; the boss will make the screen shake, which can be really distracting and can mess your timing up. You should have a lot of healing items, such as Curel A and Healo B, so instead of having your Reyvateil's spend time using healing Song Magic, have your Vanguards use healing items on them during the Attack Phase if their HP gets low. If you completed level 5 of Luca's Cosmosphere, you should have the Song Magic Reception Rumble. Charge this up as high as you can to deal massive damage to the boss. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that you've beaten the boss, you must go all the way back to the Save Point, near the middle of Imperial. Make sure to use the Save Point, then get on the elevator to the north of it for another boss fight. --------------------------------Boss Fight------------------------------------- Boss: ELMA-DSRX This should be an easy fight; charge up Reception Rumble until Luca is almost out of MP. If your front-liners have been attacking during this time, the Song will probably finish the boss off, so you really only need one Attack Phase to defeat it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- GBH Mother Ship (WP2C23) --------------- Items: Enemies: Droopy Soda x3 Bio Planet Punkish Mace Guard Knight Reyvateil Type II After the scenes, enter the door to the right. Take the elevator up and head west, where you will come to a Save Point. Continue going west, skipping the first two rooms you see. Go into the very last door to find two chests that contain DROOPY SODA x3 and PUNKISH MACE. See the elevator near the chests? Remember where this is, because you'll be coming back here later. Return to the previous screen, use the Save Point again if you need to, then enter the middle room. --------------------------------Boss Fight------------------------------------- Boss: SPOILER, Chancellor Guards, Chancellor Reyvateil The boss turns out to be not much of a fighter, so his attacks are very slow and easy to guard against. Any charged Song Magic should take out the bulk of the enemies' HP, and your Vanguards can deal with the little HP they have left in a turn or two. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Remember that elevator I told you about? Go there now and enter the only room there is on the floor it takes you to for a few scenes. [New Location - Cat Mansion] ----------- Cat Mansion (WP2C24) ----------- Items: Enemies: 5200 Leaf Sister Big Chakram Stinger Crystalune x2 Type 48 Down Gown Droopy Soda x2 I.P.D.s: You'll be in Enna after the series of scenes. Exit Enna and choose Cat Mansion from the World Map, which is located below Enna. After the scenes, enter the big doors ahead and then go left. At the end of the hallway is a big room with two chests, which contain DROOPY SODA x2 and 3200 LEAF. Leave the room and go east down the hallway this time, and into the room it leads to. After the scene, check behind the table next to you; Luca's [Not Scared?] Talk Topic is on the ground. After picking up the Talk Topic, head down into the basement. Follow the path until you reach a weird purple/pink area - you should pass a Save Point on the way. There is a chest with CRYSTALUNE x2 at the first turn in this area. Go north when the path splits; at the far-east side of the room is a chest that contains 2000 LEAF. Return to the previous screen and go as far south as you can to find a chest with DOWN GOWN inside. Move east from here. Before going into the door to the north, open the chest on the east ledge to get BIG CHAKRAM. Enter the north room for a scene. ---------------------------------Boss Fight------------------------------------ Boss: ELMA-DSRX Honestly, your Vanguards may defeat the boss before Luca even has a chance to release her Song Magic. It does have a couple nasty attacks, though. If the battle goes to a short cut-scene, get read to mash the guard button, as it will attack several times very quickly. Other than that, it has an blade-like attack that can be distracting while trying to guard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [New Item - Heart of Gaea] [New Party Member - Jacqli] --------------------- Talk Topic Collecting (WP2C25) --------------------- There are several Talk Topics we can get for Jacqli now. If you don't want to do this, skip to the next section: Promise Hill (WP2C26). The first place we're going to is Rakshek Resort. When you reach the Save Point in the forest, use the Dualstall. Put Jacqli, Luca, and any crystal in the bath for a Heroine Talk Topic. A second Topic can be triggered randomly when Luca and Jacqli are in the bath, in which Luca will ask why Jacqli is swimming. A third Topic can will trigger when Luca and Jacqli gain two levels bathing. Finally, a fourth Topic will unlock when you place Jacqli and Luca on one side of the bath. When you've gotten all the Dualstall Topics, go into the resort; Jacqli's [Resorts?] Talk Topic is in the middle of the first room. Go to the Restaurant in Rakshek now; you'll get the Talk Topic [Do You Like Maids?] as soon as you walk into the door. The last place we're going is Grand Bell Hall in Pastalia. Cynthia will tell you to go to her store when you enter Pastalia, but wait on doing that until we get Cloche back to ensure that Shop Event triggered Talk Topics aren't missed. Anyway, when you get to Grand Bell Hall, go east, passing the Save Point. Jacqli's [Statesman? Dictator?] Talk Topic is on the jutting balcony. ------------ Promise Hill (WP2C26) ------------ Enemies: Blue Wyvern Boxguard Lizard Demon You just have to make your way to where Cloche was left earlier. The path can be a little hard to see, so remember to go east at the entrance. You can let Jacqli get it during an encounter to get her [Off Guard] Talk Topic. There will be a series of scenes when you enter the room that Cloche is in. After the scenes, go to the Save Point outside of the room and rest; Jacqli will give you permission to enter her Cosmosphere. Rest again to see a scene between Croix, Luca, and Cloche. Rest a third time to activate the Heroine Talk Topic [Gergo or Geugo] between Cloche and Jacqli. There's a couple more things to do before going to Pastalia... ---- Enna (WP2C27) ---- Pharmacy Shop Event 4: For those of you who have played the first Ar tonelico, pay close attention to this scene. Have you guessed who Jacqli is yet? This event will unlock the Talk Topic [With Spica] for Jacqli. While in Enna, go to the Dive Shop and complete the first level of Jacqli's Cosmosphere. It only costs 345 DP, so you probably got enough for it just from going through Promise Hill. Completing the first level will unlock Jacqli's [How Was Your First Dive?] and [Cosmosphere #1] Talk Topics. You should also have her [Go To Bed!] Talk Topic, for unlocking five of Jacqli's Talk Topics. There are also a few Dualstall Topics you can get, now that you have Cloche again. For the first one, just place any crystal in the bath; Cloche will say how she feels refreshed. Since you have all three Reyvateils, you might as well start using the Crystals to gain levels. Filling up all nine slots with Crystals should unlock two more Topics; one between Luca and Cloche, and the other between Cloche and Jacqli. I used 9 unused Crystals, so if you're having problems getting them to activate, then try that. If you still have synthesized bath items, there are more Topics available by using the Dualstall: 1. Between Cloche and Jacqli - Place a Walking Gergo in the bath. 2. Between Cloche and Jacqli - Place Herbal Jewel in the bath. 3. Between Luca and Jacqli - Place a Duckie in the bath. General Store Shop Event 10: Go to the General Store.. I promise, we're almost done with the extra stuff. [New Recipe - Dress Up Book] Have Luca make Men's Glasses from the Dress Up Book recipe to unlock her [Do It On Me!] Talk Topic. General Store Shop Event 11: Sasha will take Pira Theory 1 from you. General Store Shop Event 12: It's just a scene. Restaurant Shop Event 12: Another scene... That's it for now, so go to Pastalia. ============================== Phase 3: Infel Pira Dependency (WP3C00) ============================== Pastalia.............(WP3C01) Mint Block...........(WP3C02) Dreamy Fields........(WP3C03) Kanakana Pier........(WP3C04) Grand Bell Prison....(WP3C05) Grand Bell Hall......(WP3C06) Upper Moon Culvert...(WP3C07) Bell Strike Hall.....(WP3C08) Water Mill/Telmina...(WP3C09) Lakra................(WP3C10) Cocona's Cosmosphere.(WP3C11) Pastalia.............(WP3C12) The Slums............(WP3C13) Lakra................(WP3C14) Pastalia.............(WP3C15) Mint Block...........(WP3C16) Dreamy Fields........(WP3C17) Kanakana Pier........(WP3C18) Pastalia.............(WP3C19) Grand Bell Hall......(WP3C20) Dreamy Fields........(WP3C21) Pastalia.............(WP3C22) -------- Pastalia (WP3C01) -------- Is it just me, or did Phase 3 come out of nowhere? Anyway, go to Croix's House for a scene. [New Location - Dreamy Fields] Go back to Croix's House; each Reyvateil should have at least one new Talk Topic. Cloche's Talk Topic is titled [Jacqli's Your Type?]. The Talk Topic [Do You Like Jacqli? #1] is available for Luca. Jacqli has a few new Talk Topics availble: [How Old Are You?], [Imitation]. and [Legendary Menu]. If viewed another Reyvateil's Talk Topic(s) after Cloche's, then a second Talk Topic will unlock for Cloche, titled [What We Talk About]. Also, talking to another Reyvateil after talking to Luca will unlock Luca's [We're Talking Every Night] Talk Topic. If this is confusing to you, then just make sure Jacqli is the last one you talk to. Since you're in Croix's room anyway, use the Dualstall; you can get a Heroine Talk Topic with Cloche and Jacqli. Just place Jacqli in front of Cloche so that Jacqli sinks under the water in front of her. If it doesn't happen at first, keep trying. Go to the Fancy Shop to pick up the [Cute Is Lame] Talk Topic for Jacqli. Weapon Shop Event 12: [New Recipe - Anti Song Weapon] Weapon Shop Event 13: Cynthia will take the Ancient Book from you. Exit Pastalia for a scene. Weapon Shop Event 13: Re-enter Pastalia after the scene for this event. [New Recipe - Ecological Product] Weapon Shop Event 14 and 15: 14 will give you the Recipe Card, while 15 is just a scene. [New Recipe - Arranged Ancients] Restaurant Shop Event 13 and 14: Event 13 will give you a Recipe, while 14 is just a scene. [New Recipe - Take-out] ---------- Mint Block (WP3C02) ---------- There is a longs scene here; once it's over, the [Reisha] Talk Topic for Luca unlocks. The Heroine Talk Topic between Cloche and Luca, titled [Luca & Reisha] is also available after the scene. Pharmacy Shop Event 5 and 6: The 5th event gives you the Recipe Card, and the 6th event is a scene. The scene is about the characters in the first game, for those of you who didn't play it and are confused. [New Recipe - Antique Medicine] General Store Shop Event 13: [New Recipe - Pira Theory 1] General Store Shop Event 14: Cloche will get the [Which One Do You Like?] Talk Topic after getting the Recipe Card from this event. [New Recipe - Family Projects] If you have Cloche make the Family Projects Recipe, you will get a Pippen Bubbler. Using this in the Dualstall will unlock two different Heroine Talk Topics: one between Cloche and Luca, and the other between Cloche and Jacqli. General Store Event 15: Exit and re-enter the store if it doesn't trigger right away. Seeing this event will unlock the [Sasha Is Inexperienced] Talk Topic for Cloche. Weapon Shop Event 16: You may have gotten this event earlier, but it unlocks the Talk Topic [You Should Change Weapon] for Cloche. Cynthia will talk about explosive love. Before going to the Dreamy Fields, use the Infelsphere at Croix's House, since you're in Pastalia anyway. There will be a few scenes, but you won't be able to do anything else yet. Yeah... Amarie is in the scene when she shouldn't be. So after all of that, go to Dreamy Fields from the World Map. ------------- Dreamy Fields (WP3C03) ------------- Items: Enemies: Floatstone x2 Candelizer Dimension Evoluptite Heatdigger Sour Pom Thunder Wyrm When you enter the area, put the Long Skirt costume on Jacqli; after about five battles, her Talk Topic [Costume #1] will unlock. Fight about ten battles with her and a second Talk Topic - [Let Me Rest] - will unlock, unless you already got it when you went through Promise Hill. There's only one way that you can go here, so head west for several screens until a scene initiates. The Talk Topic [Worried, Huh?] unlocks after this scene. Follow the path forward and use the Save Point on the way, if you need to. There will be a couple more scenes as you continue forward. Jacqli's [Ignorance Is Bliss] will be available after these scenes. Keep going east after the two scenes until the path splits; keep going east to find a chest that contains FLOATSTONE x2. Backtrack a few steps and go into the north door that you passed up a second ago. It's a straight path ahead, so just keep walking until another scene triggers. ------------- Kanakana Pier (WP3C04) ------------- Items: Enemies: 10700 Leaf Berserker Microsphere x2 Crusher Resonant Shieldbox Evoluptite Heatdigger Lone Reyvateil Follow the path for awhile, until you reach an intersection on the second screen. Go east first; eventually, you will come to a large room with a set of stairs. There are two crates up the stairs that contain 10700 LEAF and a RESONANT SHIELDBOX. Warning! Check the levels of Luca and Cloche. You have all three Reyvateils at this point, so there's not reason not to use your Dualithnode Crystals for leveling them. At the upcoming Save Point, use the Dualstall to level your Reyvateils up if you haven't already been doing so. You will be fine as long as they're not as low as level 3 or something. Head back to the intersection and go down the west hallway this time. At the very end of the hall is a crate with MICROSPHERE x2 inside. After getting the chest, turn around and go north at the intersection. Use the Save Point and then turn left when the path splits for a scene and a forced fight against three Evoluptites. ----------------- Grand Bell Prison (WP3C05) ----------------- Items: 6000 Leaf Ardel Crystal Rainbow Camisole I.P.D.s: Bunae Lv. 2 Talk to Amarie to advance the story. When you finally gain control, check the cell you're in to find a crate with an ARDEL CRYSTAL inside. Go into the cell across from you; it has another crate, which contains 2500 LEAF. Head east; there is a Save Point in the next cell on the southern side. Continue east and enter the next south cell to find a crate that has 3500 LEAF inside. Follow the hallway and open the crate for a RAINBOW CAMISOLE. It's located in an open area to the south. Go to the next screen to fight the I.P.D. Bunae. She's only level 2, so you shouldn't have any problems. In fact, your Vanguards will probably defeat her before you have the chance to release any Song Magic. After defeating Bunae, keep moving forward to exit the area. --------------- Grand Bell Hall (WP3C06) --------------- There will be a few more scenes when you exit the prison. You will also have to fight a battle with Cloche and Luca alone against two Defenders and an Imperial. Charge up Luca's Reception Rumble Song Magic for a couple turns. After the fight, continue forward and use the Save Point if you need to. Go north from the Save Point, and then west at the big blue doors. On the next screen, enter the door to the north. Go through the next door for a scene. [New Item - Sphere Key: 4A] ------------------ Upper Moon Culvert (WP3C07) ------------------ Items: Enemies: 8100 Leaf Bio Planet Blastemir Redplant Cover Down Gown Type III Microsphere x3 Type 48 White Ring Type Un-Zero I.P.D.s: Rose Lv. 4 Move forward and ride the elevator at the end of the path. When you reach the lower level, the path will split almost immediately. Go south at this split and take the elevator at the end of the path. Go east when the path splits and enter the door to the north to fight Rose, a level 4 I.P.D. She has low HP and your Vanguards will likely deplete the little HP she has in the first turn. After defeating Rose, open the two chests in the room for a WHITE RING and a DOWN GOWN. Go north from here, and into the next room; there are three chests here that contain BLASTEMIR, 8100 LEAF, and MICROSPHERE x3. Exit the room to the west and you'll end up near the beginning of this floor. Head north and ride the elevator. There's only one way to go for the rest of the area, so continue forward until you reach another elevator, then ride it out of the area. ---------------- Bell Strike Hall (WP3C08) ---------------- Enemies: Bird Knight Milky Pom Reyvateil Go west and take the first south path that you come to. Ride the elevator to the east, then, on the next floor, ride the elevator at the north-west corner of the room. Use the Save Point you come to, then head east and up the next north. -------------------------------Boss Fight-------------------------------------- Boss: SPOILER, Sacred Soldier x2 This is a really easy fight; the boss is probably easier than the regular enemies that you've been fighting. If your Vanguards are using Girl Power, they'll likely do enough damage to defeat the enemies in the first two turns. A disappointing fight, to say the least, but I suppose it's fitting. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ Water Mill/Telmina (WP3C09) ------------------ Go west one screen; to the south is a room with a Save Point, so use it if you need to. Afterwards, go west until you reach Lift VII. Take this elevator for some more scenes. ----- Lakra (WP3C10) ----- Items: Enemies: Droopy Soda Black Guard Refresh Core Dimension Time Pyroxene x2 Lone Reyvateil Thread of Binding Soul Scythe Type Un-Zero I.P.D.s: Lisha Lv. 4, Pet Lv. 4, Plum Lv. 4 Move forward until you reach the first split; you can't go east, so head west, until you reach the second split. At the second split, enter the room to the north, where you will find a chest that contains TIME PYROXENE x2. Return to the previous screen and continue going west. When you reach the next screen, you will have to fight the level 4 I.P.D. Lisha. You will find yourself at an intersection after defeating Lisha. Go north here for a chest that has DROOPY SODA inside. Return to the intersection and continue walking west, to another split. Go south here to fight Pet, a level 4 I.P.D. At the end of this hallway is another blue, glowing switch; approach it and choose "Yes." Backtrack to the last split and go down the north-west path this time. You'll eventually come to an elevator, which you need to take to get to the next level. Move forward the only way you can go, to fight Plum, who is a level 4 I.P.D. Keep going east after defeating Plum, skipping the north path, and you will come to a chest that contains a REFRESH CORE. Walk a little bit north from here, then take the path going east. Examine the blue switch in this room and tell Jacqli "Yes" again. Return to the previous screen and ride the elevator to the north. On the next floor, move forward until you come to a Save Point and a split in the path. First, go west to find a chest that contains a THREAD OF BINDING. After getting your item, walk back a few steps and go north. -------------------- Cocona's Cosmosphere (WP3C11) -------------------- There will be a long series of cut-scenes, may of them flashbacks of scenes you've already seen. After the scenes, Croix will be thrown into a forced with with a Type 48 and a Type Zero. Another series of scenes will take place after the battle. -------- Pastalia (WP3C12) -------- Jacqli has a new Talk Topic, titled [Cocona]. Since you're in Pastalia anyway, and Jacqli's Song Magic is getting boring, go to the Dive Shop and complete level 2 of her Cosmosphere. You don't actually need Cloche and Luca with you this time. After completing the second level, Jacqli will have the new Talk Topic [Cosmosphere #2]. Go to The Slums when you're finished. --------- The Slums (WP3C13) --------- Items: Gergo(?) Note: I came here earlier to fight an I.P.D. The Reyvateil that stands by the light post gave me a Gergo. If she is here when you come through and still gives you the item, please let me know. Thanks. From the beginning, take the south-east path. When the screen changes, go east, and then up the second north. Skip the next north you come to, then go up the second. Ride the elevator when you get to it. Head west a screen and take Lift VII after the scene. ----- Lakra (WP3C14) ----- Enemies: Black Guard Dimension Lone Reyvateil Soul Scythe Type Un-Zero Equip the Spirit Gunner Costume on Jacqli; after seven battles, her [Costume # 2] Talk Topic will unlock. Now you have to go through Lakra again... *Sigh...* Anyway, go west for several screens; you will eventually reach an elevator. Ride the elevator up to the next floor. Walk east and then go north, then ride the elevator you come to. Follow the path and use the Save Point at the split and then go north. Go back north after the scene and choose "Yes." -------------------------------Boss Fight-------------------------------------- Boss: Zodom Zodom can shorten your Attack Phase, which can be annoying. Other than that, he isn't anything special. Have Jacqli and Luca charge a Song Magic for a few turns - preferably one of Jacqli's - and Zodom should be dead or at least near it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------- Pastalia (WP3C15) -------- The Talk Topic [I Kinda Like It] for Jacqli is available now. Go to Luca's House in Mint Block. ---------- Mint Block (WP3C16) ---------- There is an important scene at Luca's House that you can easily miss, so make sure you come here and see it. You will also unlock Art, that you can view when you beat the game. Go to the General Store for Jacqli's [Ruins, Right?] Talk Topic. Pharmacy Shop Event 7 and 8: Event 7 gives you the Recipe Card, while event 8 is a scene. [New Recipe - White Pill] Go to the Dreamy Fields. ------------- Dreamy Fields (WP3C17) ------------- Enemies: Bloody Executioner Evoluptite Thunder Wyrm Go west, to the next screen, for a scene. Amarie will provide you with a much more convenient way of getting to Kanakana Pier. ------------- Kanakana Pier (WP3C18) ------------- Items: Enemies: Hurricane Spinner Berserker Mirror Plate Crusher Evoluptite Heatdigger Lone Reyvateil Go west and then north at the intersection for a scene. After the scene, pick up [Imitation #1], a Talk Topic for Jacqli. Exit to the east. One the next screen, open the chest at the intersection, which contains MIRROR PLATE. After opening the chest, turn around and head south. Go as far west as you can to find a crate that has HURRICANE SPINNER inside. Head back to the split and go east this time. After going through the door at the end of the hallway, a short scene will occur. [New Item - Implanter] After picking up the Hymn Crystal, three Divine Armies will attack. After defeating them, backtrack all the way back to where the Terutrain dropped you off earlier. When you get to the Dreamy Fields, go east a couple screens to exit the area. -------- Pastalia (WP3C19) -------- Pharmacy Shop Event 9 and 10: Event 9 will give you the Recipe Card, while Event 10 is a scene. [New Recipe - D-wave Compound] Go to Pastalia now, and enter Croix's House for a scene. Rest before leaving Croix's House; there are a several new Talk Topics available: the Heroine Talk Topic [Whatever Happens] between Cloche and Luca, [I'm Sad...] for Luca, and the Talk Topics [If There Were No Jacqli] and [Bad Sense Of Taste] for Jacqli. Weapon Shop Event 17, 18, and 19: All three of these are just scenes. You should have enough Talk Topics at this point to complete the third level of Jacqli's Cosmosphere, so you might as well do it now. A few new Talk Topics will unlock after you complete it: [Mind Guardian?] and [Cosmosphere #3] for Jacqli, [Jacqli's World #1] for Luca, and the Heroine Talk Topic [About the Cosmosphere] between Jacqli and Luca. Restaurant Shop Event 15 and 16: Event 15 gives you a Recipe Card, but Event 16 is just a scene. [New Recipe - Eattle Brand II] General Store Event 16: [New Recipe - Sewing for Lovers] General Store Event 17: Sasha takes Pira Theory II from you. Pharmacy Shop Event 10 and 11: [New Recipe - Organic Chemical] Weapon Shop Event 20: After getting the Recipe Card, pick up Jacqli's [Dangerous Object?] Talk Topic from the floor. [New Recipe - CynCro Brand III] Weapon Shop Event 21: It's just a scene. Go to Grand Bell Hall when you're finished with everything. --------------- Grand Bell Hall (WP3C20) --------------- There will be a scene as soon as you enter the area. There will be a forced fight against two Imperials and two Defenders, but I'm sure you can handle them. After the fight, a long series of scenes take place. I guess it's back to the Dreamy Fields, then. A new Talk Topic, titled [Call Him Out] is available for Luca. Restaurant Shop Event 17 and 18: Event 18 is a scene. [New Recipe - Fruit Dessert] Make sure to have Jacqli make the Fruit Dessert Recipe Card; she will get the item Fruity Palette, which unlocks a Dualstall Topic between her and Luca. Pharmacy Shop Event 12: It's just a scene. Head to the Dreamy Fields now. ------------- Dreamy Fields (WP3C21) ------------- Items: Enemies: Droopy Soda Bloody Executioner Floatstone x2 Candelizer Mirror Plate Evoluptite Sour Pom Thunder Wyrm Equip the Dorky Girl Costume onto Jacqli; after a few battles, her Talk Topic [Costume #3] will unlock. After the scene, head through the tunnel, and then go left when the path splits to find a chest that contains a MIRROR PLATE. Start walking east, taking the north path when you come to it. Go as far north as you can; you should end up in an area with two chests. Inside the chests, you'll find DROOPY SODA and FLOATSTONE x2. Return to the previous screen and take the east path. Before going any farther, make sure that Croix is healed and properly equipped. --------------------------------Boss Fight------------------------------------- Boss: Targana This is more of a mock fight than anything. Wait for Croix's action bar to fill up to level two or three to do the most damage to Targana. He shouldn't damage Croix too bad, but if he does, just remember to use a healing item before it gets too late. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There will be more scenes after the battle, which will also unlock Art that can be viewed when you complete the game. Leave the Dreamy Fields when the scene is over. The Talk Topics [Good & Bad Memory] and [Never Eat It Raw] for Jacqli unlock after the duel. -------- Pastalia (WP3C22) -------- Go to Croix's House in Pastalia for a series of scenes. [New Item - Sphere Key: 4B] [New Party Member - Shun] =================== Phase 4: Trulyworth (WP4C00) =================== Pastalia..............(WP4C01) -------- Pastalia (WP4C01) -------- Now that we're on Phase 4, two new Talk Topics are available: [I Want Courage] for Cloche and [I Want To Help] for Luca. ==================== Phase 1: Luca's Path (WP1L00) ==================== Coming Soon - Sorry for teasing you. =========== Cosmospheres (RVC000) =========== Optional scenes are included in this Cosmosphere guide, meaning that some of these steps are not necessary. Its power may surpass mine... ----- Croix (S20CR) ----- ------------- Psychological: Auto Barret Action Lv: 1 DOWN + Action Shoots the gimmick auto rifle attached to the lance. More for warning shots, and therefore, not very powerful. Powder Shot Action Lv: 2 DOWN + Action Burst shoots the auto rifle. High damage, but it has strong recoil, and it takes a while for the shots to unload. Free Combination Action Lv: 3 DOWN + Action 1 Time/Turn Charges at the enemy and burst shoots at 0-range. It is very destructive, and solves the accuracy problem of guns. -------- Harmonic: Lance Charge Action Lv: 1 UP + Action Concentrates all senses to the tip of the lance to charge forward at the will of the wielder. Heat Strike Action Lv: 2 UP + Action The electric device in the lance heats up the tip before the Lance Charge. Even pierces through armor easily. The prep time is long, but the damage is great. -------- Burstech: Single Lance Action Lv: 1 LEFT + Action A basic thrust taught to all Grand Bell knights. The unique shout stirs vigor to hit the target accurately. Squall Lance Action Lv: 2 LEFT + Action A superior spear skill for knights after 100,000 thrusts. The fast thrusts are like a gust of wind. Whirl Lancer Action Lv: 3 LEFT + Action 1 Time/Turn A finishing move that continues off the Squall Lance. The fast spin on the lance increases its destructive power. ---------- Super Move: Infinite Thrust Action Lv: EX EX Gauge + Action A special GB knight skill. Explodes the lance rocket to charge. Needs full spirit, technique, and power to use. ------- Leglius (S20LE) ------- ------------- Psychological: Battle Saucer Action Lv: 1 DOWN + Action Throws the disc at the enemy. Possible only with Captain's strength and skill. -------- Burstech: Rolling Blade Action Lv: 1 LEFT + Action Capt. Leglius' move where he throws down the disc on his arm. It's simple, which is why it can be very powerful. Upper Slice Action Lv: 2 LEFT + Action A down-swing-upper-cut chain. Gains more damage each swing, making it more powerful, and hitting more often. Shake Mixer Action Lv: 3 LEFT + Action 1 Time/Turn The discs on his arm spin to weaken the enemy.
