Take care of some enemies, then there will be more scenes. After, don't follow that ninja yet, go right for more enemies and one jar here contains a "Hermit Power Water". Now back track and go north to follow that person. Take care of few more enemies, then be sure to break the near jar for an "Anba Herb". Continue down from the left to the next area. Continue on and take care more enemies. Then you would see that person again. Jump down to follow that person. Don't forget there is another jar with another "Hermit Power Water". You can save by a blue crest within a light pillar. This is the save point of this game. Continue to the left. Before you go all the way to the right to advance to the next area, you can actually jump up the waterfall. There is a jar here with health. Up there, there is an item box to the right. It contains a "Metal Long Sword". Do equip this new weapon. Now go down and head to the right for more scene. You will enter a boss fight. You can kill the side enemies or just focus on the boss. Avoid or guard more often, you should be fine. Remember, you can use the Kamui(Might Of Heaven) here by pressing L1, then press Square after you time it right(when you see the hint/Square icon). After, you will automatically head to Hermitage of Tamayoribito. ~Hermitage of Tamayoribito # of Chick Stone: 2 After more scenes, Kiichihougen will promt you to save or not. Afterward, explore around if you wish. There are Chick Stone of the Heavenly Steel near the well and in an item box. Just so you know, when you are near a Chick Stone, there should be a little vibration with the controller. Also, if you are in Kamui, you can spot them. Anyway, you can speak to that Minadzuruhime for information. Attempt to leave this place, then a tutorial on Kamui will take place. As said already, press L1, this will take you to a different dimension. As the enemy attempts to attack, the screen will have a 'Sqaure' icon to hint out when you should press Square. Doing so will have you kill the enemy instantly. Do this consecutively is called the "Might Of Heaven Piling". Afterward, exit out this place. ~Mountain Anba (revisit) # of Chick Stone: 2 Go back to Mountain Anba. Check the red item box by the entrance for the "Broken Long Sword". There are two Chick Stones here. One is just before/left of the save point and the other one is just by the house/shrine(where the game started, where you first control Yositsune and did the first battle of the game). Once you are done, exit out. ~Street # of Chick Stone: 2 It is time to go to the 'Street'. Here, you can shop. There is also another Chick Stone in an item box, to the left side of the near house. As for the second Chick Stone here, at upper left part of the town, there is a save point. To the left of that, there is a little Altar. The second Chick Stone is by there. When you are done here, exit out to the left for more scene. After, head to Gojou. ~Gojou # of Chick Stone: 0 Clear the enemies for more scene. The boss here is stronger than the previously but still, use Kamui on him. Try to avoid or guard as much. Once you finish him off, more scenes. ~Street # of Chick Stone: 0 You will be back to the Street. The two shops here have new stuff, BTW. Once you are ready, exit out. ~Hermitage of Tamayoribito # of Chick Stone: 0 Go to speak with Kiichihougen and might as well save your game. Now attempt to exit out for more scenes. ~Gojou # of Chick Stone: 1 Here, more scene. Some corpse here has Anba Herb, some has Hermit Power Water and some got gold. Don't go across the bridge yet, instead go right. There is an opening to go down. The item box here has a Tengu Secret Herb and the jar has another Anba Herb. As you might be aware already, your controller is giving out vibration, that means there is a Chick Stone around. Walk slowly, and when the vibration is more rapid, slash around to reveal the Chick Stone. Now, go cross the bridge. Next area, check out some corpse here for Anba Herb and a Signless Long Sword. Continue down for more scene. You will end up fighting against Musashibou Benkei. This guy has large attack area and power, but he is a bit slow. Being slow of course gives us advantages. Use R1+X more often to avoid his attacks then attack. If you are good with timing, use the move called Mind's Eye(very similar to Onimusha series' Issen) or Kamui. After you beat Musashibou Benkei, more scenes. ~Hermitage of Tamayoribito # of Chick Stone: 0 After, you get another Kamui mini gauge whichs means you can now use that Kamui Kasane (Might Of Heaven Piling). Head out for another scene. You can now switch to Musashibou Benkei by speaking to him and select yes. Also, Minadzuruhime is by the well and has some new information if you like to read. After, you can head to the Street to shop some new stuff if you wish. ~Mountain Anba (revisit with Benkei) # of Chick Stone: 4 Remember those wooden logs? Now you can destroy them with Benkei. Back to the waterfall area, go to the left and you can break the first wooden log here. Continue to the right, and near the item box where you previously obtain the "Metal Long Sword", you should get some vibration. Walk slowly and when it gets more rapid, hit around with Benkei to reveal the Chick Stone. Of course, with Benkei, you can also break through the right door now. Beyond that, hit a tree to advance. After you cross the tree log, you should pick up another vibration here. As usual, walk til it gets rapid then hit to reveal the Chick Stone. The near item box contains a "Hexagon Stick - Victory Song", so don't forget to pick it up. That's it for this area. Now, back track and continue to go up to the save point. South from there, there is another wooden log. You should get yet another vibration here, walk til it goes rapidly, then hit around to reveal the Chick Stone. Now, head back to the entrace area. At the middle of map, you should get yet another vibration. Walk til rapidly, then hit around to reveal the Chick Stone. That's all for this area. Exit out. ~Myougou Temple # of Chick Stone: 8 After the scene, continue up. Before you enter the temple, check out the roof of the door. You should get a vibration which means there is a Chick Stone around. After, enter the temple. Break a near jar to get the "Protect Hermit Water". Then go up. Beware of the enemies here, they are pretty swift. Once you are up there, break a jar to get some gold then head to the upper left corner for another Chick Stone. After, go right to move up. Clear the enemies and one jar has another "Protect Hermit Water". Check the door to enter to the next area. Enter the near door. There is yet another Chick Stone a bit north of the save point. Do save your game here. Now exit out, and go left first. One jar here has another "Hermit Power Water". Break the door here with Benkei, enter. There is another Chick Stone at around the left side of the room, left of the item box. The item box itself contains the armor for Benkei, Byakko(White Tiger). Two jars here got stuff as well, do break them. Also, you can have Yositsune to jump up to another item box here. Now, exit out and take the path toward north. Here, you have 3 ways: left, middle and right. Left is sealed, so forget it for now. Go right first. Have Benkei to hit the bell to get yet another Chick Stone. If you go along the roof to the right, you can get to some jar with some gold. To go higher up the roof, have Yositsune to do so. He can jump to another roof to the left. You should get another vibration at the NW edge of the roof. Hit around there for another Chick Stone. You can enter the room from the opened window. A jar here has gold and the item box here contains a weapon for Yositsune, Fox Fire. Now exit out. Ok, just to the right of the middle door, you can actually have Yositsune to jump up for another item. Now take the middle path. Be sure to save your game. Continue on for another scene. Clear the enemies, and get the "Maximum Wooden Hammer" in an item box to the left room. Continue on and you should get yet another vibration. The Chick Stone is at the mouth of the beast on the table. Of course, there is another vibration after that. It points toward the right door. However, it is locked. Don't worry, just hit that door and the Chick Stone will come to you. The item box contains the Amber Pearl you need. If you back track now, then go north, you can get a "Special Pill" from a jar. Now go back out and head toward the previous sealed door. More scene then move up. It is time for another boss fight. It's rather easy to avoid its attacks for most of the time. If you are good with timing, two Mind's Eye is good enough to finish it. For a special item, use Kamui once on it for a "Crane's Claw". Afterward, there will be more scenes. ~Street # of Chick Stone: 0 You will be at the Street and you will get the "Metal Halberd" from the merchant. Now exit out. ~Hermitage of Tamayoribito # of Chick Stone: 0 You get yet another little gauge for the Kamui. Exit out. ~Myougou Temple (revisit) # of Chick Stone: 1 Alright, get back to the place where you fought the boss. Remember after that, there was a kid? He was standing at the north part of the map. Anyway, near there, you should get another vibration. Of course, there is another Cick Stone around for you to get. ~Gojou # of Chick Stone: 3 Clear enemies here with Yositsune and Benkei. After, Benkei will fight a boss. Then Yositsune will fight more enemies. Be sure to take out those archers first then the others. The item box here has the Thunder Charm. Continue to the left for more enemies. After, Benkei will come. Now, back track to the way where Benkei was. Remember the scene where Yositsune jumps in previously? About south of that, near the stream, you should get another vibration. The near jar also got another item. Now back to Benkei and the save point. Enter the near door. By the intersection, you should get another vibration. Slash around to get the Chick Stone. If you go right, you can get another item from the jar. Continue on from the left. Hit another jar for another item. The near door is sealed, so go right. Next intersection, go right. You should get another vibration. It is just at where the fire is coming out. Continue on and you would get the "Obsidian Pearl" in an item box. The jail here and at another area can be opened with Benkei. One contains a Flame Edgy Blade and the other contains yet another item. Now back to the sealed door. Be sure to equip the Thunder Charm. The boss here is a bit faster but not all that hard. R1 or R1+X more often, then you should be fine. Watch out when he jumps up and do the lightning attack though. Afterward, more scenes. ~Hermitage of Tamayoribito # of Chick Stone: 0 Again, another Kamui little gauge, for Benkei this time. Exit out with Benkei. ~Street # of Chick Stone: 0 You get a scene with Benkei. After, be sure to check out the shops for some new stuff. With the Crane's Claw and the Broken Long Sword you have, you can make a Crane Claw Long Sword. ~Rokuhara Mansion # of Chick Stone: 3 Continue on and more enemies. Be sure to guard the archer's arrow. After, before you go to the next bridge, go north. You should get a weak vibration by the first rock, jump to the second and it is rapid. Hence, hit around for the Chick Stone. The third rock has an item box that contains a Healing Charm. Now moving on to the second bridge. More archers. Guard more often and kill them fast. Past here, before the next bridge, go north again. Benkei can attack the statue here for another Chick Stone and the item box to the left contains a weapon for Yositsune, Moon Cutter. Moving on, clear the enemies then go right for an item box that contains the Poison Protect Charm. Before the gate, two more enemies. Kill them and enter the gate. Clear more enemies to continue on. After you enter the door, you should get another vibration. You can't get it here. You have to go around to get the Chick Stone. There are jar here with items, and an item box with a Snake Spear. Continue on and more enemies. Benkei will come. Be sure to save your game. Now enter for more scenes. You will end up having a choice of who you wish to fight against Taira no Kagekiyo with. I pick Yositsune because he is faster. Kagekiyo is fast and damaging, he also guards often. Unless you have lots of healing items and want to do this the hard and long way, otherwise, we are going for Kamui. Even with that, he is still that fast. Once you defeat him, more scenes. That ends this chapter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (*Hiraizumi Of Japan's Northern Part) ~Hiraizumi # of Chick Stone: 2 From where you are, go left of the hallway. By the corner before you turn, you should get a vibration. There is a Chick Stone, of course. And the near item box here contains another Chick Stone. If you need to save your game, continue to the left to speak with Shizukagozen to save. Once you are done, go right for another scene. Out on the street, you can go south to check around the town and shop. Once you are ready, go north to exit out the town. ~Konjikido # of Chick Stone: 5 Upon entering, more enemies. Jump to get them. Continue on and more enemies. Kill them and the temple door opens. Enter for another scene. Check out the glyph to teleport to another area. Continue up for more scene. After, go left with Yositsune and check the glyph. In the new area, continue on. You should get a vibration just by the moving platforms. Then jump to the first rock to the left and slash around to get the Chick Stone. If you take the moving platforms, you can get the "Black Copper" from the item box. Continue to the left, more enemies and there should be another Chick Stone around. After, go north to the next area. Continue on and mini boss fight. Finish it and take the platform up. The flying enemies again, ignore them and go take out the nest where they come from, then jump and attack them. After, go right for more of these. There are an item box here and a jar, besure to get them. As you sense it already, there is another Chick Stone near the item box. After, take the platform up at north. Continue on and more enemies. Next, be sure to save your game. Then time for the boss fight. Hopefully, you have an Ice Protect Charm here. There is yet another Chick Stone at the right part of the map. Be sure to get it. It moves pretty fast and often attacks two times. Try to guard for the most of the time. If it is far away, rush and attack it. When it tries to use Ice attack, try to run around. It can also use that ice attack in close range to protect itself, so be sure to do a back flip. After you beat it, get the item and take the platform up. Here, fight more enemies. As for the 3 platforms that form a bridge here, the second platform is where another Chick Stone is. Just do it quick and you won't fall. There is another save point here and do save your game. Then check the glyph at north for the real boss. When it lands down, hurry and attack it like crazy. When it flies up then rush down to attack you, just do a side flip to avoid it. If you keep your distant, then you can avoid its fire attacks easily. Also, there is a feather attack, just move/flip more rapidly and you should be able to avoid it. For a special item, perform Kamui on it to get the "Eight-Span Bird's Feather". After you beat it, more scene and be sure to get the key item in the item box. Then take the glyph to teleport back. More scenes. ~Hiraizumi # of Chick Stone: 0 You will be back at Hiraizumi. Save the game if you wish. Exit out and there should be a teleport point here to take you back to Konjikido instantly. Do use it. ~Konjikido # of Chick Stone: 7 Now, it is time for Benkei to take the right glyph. However, let's do something optional. Have Benkei to take the LEFT glyph. It's mostly the same, except some area is different and Benkei can get new items. After that, have Benkei to take the right glyph now. In the first area, clear the enemies. Now, for the rooms here, there are few combinations: - Go right for an item in a jar - Go left, then left for Chick Stone and an item box - Go left, then right, then left for a Chick Stone - Go left, then right, then right for a save point and a glyph to advance At the next area, a mini boss fight. Guard more often after each one or two attack you dish out. Once the boss is on its knee, keep slashing for more damage. Once you finish it, take the item. See the two mini waterfall here? Each one has a Chick Stone. Now to the next area. Clear the enemies and the rock to the left. You have 3 paths here, of course, there are few combinations: - Go left for an item box - Go right for an item in a jar - Go middle, then right for an item box - Go middle, then middle for 3 Chick Stones - Go middle, then left, then right for golds in jars - Go middle, then left, then left for items in jars - Go middle, then left, then middle for a save point & a glyph to advance In the final area, you face the boss. Now, you need to take down the four stone poles then you can attack it. As for the laser, it's very easy to avoid them. This is really easy except it's a bit slow. For a special item, perform Kamui on it once for the "Divine Rock Fragment". After, more scene. Be sure to check the item box then take the glyph to go back. More scenes. ~Hiraizumi # of Chick Stone: 0 Again, you are back here. Save your game if you wish. ~Konjikido # of Chick Stone: 0 With both trials done, you can now take the final one. Hold it for a sec, and get Yositsune to take the right glyph. Go left, right and left for 2 item boxes. That's it, back track and take the final trial. This is against your shadow. You NEED to cast Kamui. If you fail, don't worry, Kamui gauge charges up fast in this battle. Also, to finish Yositsune's shadow off, you NEED to do a Kamui Kasane (Might Of Heaven Piling). If this is too fast or you can't get the timing yet, press L1 during Kamui to slowdown further and I suggest you do this just before the shadow attack you. After, each of you will gain a weapon. Now attempt to exit out the temple. More scenes. We are fighting against that Kagekiyo once again. This time, pick Benkei. Kagekiyo got some air wave moves this time, no matter. Block and attack. Benkei should finish him off easily. Just take your time and block, then couple attack, then block again. Be sure to wait after Kagekiyo's attack. Aslo, Kagekiyo can poison, beware of that. Once you beat him, more scenes. That ends this chapter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (*Mato means Demonic Metropolis) ~Street # of Chick Stone: 0 Do some shopping if you wish. One path leads an item box. If you need to save your game, speak with Minadzuruhime. Attempt to leave the cave for more scenes. ~Hermitage of Tamayoribito # of Chick Stone: 1 Here, you can get a weapon for Benkei in an item box. Also, there is another item box that contains a Chick Stone. ~Mountain Anba # of Chick Stone: 6 At the first area, there is a Chick Stone near the previous red item box. At the second area, jump up the previous waterfall, hit the jar for an item and go up another rock for the Chick Stone. Once you are up there, head to the right and you will pick up another vibration. It's another Chick Stone. Go on to the right and Benkei can open that item box. Now head to the save point and go south. You should get another vibration with another Chick Stone around. Continue up to the next area. Eventually, you get to a jar that has anther item but also another vibration, which means, another Chick Stone. This one is in air, above the jar. Go left and continue up. You should get another vibration. It is between the 2 wooden logs. By the destroyed house/shrine, there is an item box. That's about it. ~Myougou Temple # of Chick Stone: 12 To go through here, go to the upper left roof then drop down. There is an item in a jar at upper right and a Chick Stone at lower right. Now go up the stairs and you should get another vibration. Continue on and up another stairs. Clear the enemies then enter the door. More scene. The near room has a save point, if you need to save your game, go do so. Afterward, go left. Enter the room here. There is another Chick Stone at the right. There is an item box that requires Benkei, an item in a jar and another item box that you need Yositsune to jump. Now exit out and go north. Just head to the lower roof to the right and there is another Chick Stone. Continue down the roof a bit for yet another vibration and you know what that means. This Chick Stone is just by the jar that's near. Now go down. Just to the right of the middle door, there is this little hill again, go up and get the health from a jar. Now make your way to the upper roof this time. As usual, jump to the other roof to the left. Go inside from the window. There is an item in a jar, another Chick Stone. Ok, go out and go down the roof. Take the left path to fight a mini boss. Kamui on it for the "Thunder Beast's Claw". Finish it for another item. Check the north part of this map for another Chick Stone. Now back track and take the middle door now. More scenes. As you wake up, you should get another vibration. These two Chick Stones are in air by the bookshelf. Be sure to get that item by the corner. Now, jump over the bookshelf. Continue on and there should be new enemies. Continue to the right first. Before the next door, jump over the bookshelf to the left and get the weapon for Yositsune in the item box. Now jump over the bookshelf to the right for another Chick Stone. Continue to the right. In the final room, clear all the enemies and get the item from the jar. After you kill all the enemies, take the key item from the red item box. Now back to the intersection from before, go left this time. In the room, get the item from the item box and there is another Chick Stone by the head/mouth of the thingy on the table. In the final room, be sure to save your game then step on a glyph for more scenes. Now, it's Benkei's turn. There is another Chick Stone here by the lower left. Also, don't forget the weapon for Benkei in the item box. Continue to the next room. Break the jar for another item. Continue on and break another jar for yet another item. Then after, check the red item box for the key item. Continue on to meet up with Yositsune. Be sure to save your game then enter the door for more scene. Finally, boss fight. It's the witch and her monster. To damage the witch, you need to bring the monster on its knee than attack her. Kamui here is useless, however, do use it once to get the "Giant Evil Bone". Once you kill her, more scenes. ~Gojou # of Chick Stone: 4 Clear the enemies and check out the left houses area for an item box. Don't go down to the bridge yet, go right then go down. Get the item in the jar and an item box. Now to the bridge. Clear the loads of enemies then the mini boss. Finish it and to the next area. To the left, there is an item in a jar, an item box and another Chick Stone. To the right, another item box and another item in a jar. Continue on, and before you enter the cave, there is another Chick Stone to the right, just near the closest tree. Within the cave, watch out for rocks that are falling. Just guard and walk slowly. There is a Chick Stone here, but you can't really sense which vibration since the rocks falling making vibration as well. So you canjust tell by the Amahagane/Heavenly Steel you have on you or you could just use Kamui. Continue to the right and get the item box in the cell. Continue down the path and get the health in a jar. At the other cell, clear the enemies and get the item box in the cell with Benkei. There is also another Chick Stone in the air by the north wall. Now back track and head to that door to the left. More scene, it's a mini boss fight again. Use Kamui on it for the "Cursed Bracer". Guard and dodge more often, then attack. You should kill it without no trouble. ~Rokuhara Mansion # of Chick Stone: 8 By the first 2 archers, there is another Chick Stone. Before you go on to the second bridge, go north. Jump around to another item box. After, continue on to the second bridge. This is very annoying. All these archers keep showing up at different locations. Keep guarding and finish them off slowly. As you are aware of already, there is yet another Chick Stone here. Moving on. Go north a bit and Benkei can attack the statue for a weapon. After, continue on. Clear enemies then enter the gate. Inside, continue on and you should sense another Chick Stone around. You have to go around to the right to get it. A near jar has another item. At the corner before you can get the Chick Stone, a beast will come in. Kill it and get the Chick Stone by the corner. Now go to the room with the save point and Benkei will come. Be sure to save your game. Go left to explore around first. You will get to the room where Taira no Kiyomori was and you can do few things: There is an item box to the left; You can get up to the ceiling area and walk on the poles. You can get another Chick Stone; Hit that Kiyomori's throne for another Chick Stone; Afterward, back to the save point. Move up the stairs. Continue on, clear the enemies. Before moving on, use the bookshelf to get up. Break the jar for another item. As you might sense it already, there is another Chick Stone and it's to west. Now to move on, get down and go north. Hit the curtains to move on. Go left a bit and get the item from the jar. Hit the close curtains as well. Go down this secret path. Clear enemies and at the last area, get the item from the jar then use the bookshelf to get up. There is an item box here that contains an armor for Benkei. Now back track. Continue down the hallway. Clear more enemies. As for the wooden curtains here, Benkei can break them. It has another item box that contains a weapon for Benkei. Next, break some more curtains that are next to the wooden curtains, before going in, continue down to the end of the hallway for an item in a jar and yet another Chick Stone. Now back track a bit and go in. Clear the enemies and use the bookshelf to get up once again. There is another item box that contains a weapon for Yositsune. Now get down and continue on. In the new area, clear the enemies and continue on and more scene. Then go up. Break a jar at the corner for another item, then move on. Break the curtains and clear the enemies. Use the bookshelf to go up. Get item and gold from jars. The Chick Stone is a bit tricky to get. It's in air and at the center. Just jump up and slash it. Now, there is a path to the right, hold that for now. Continue down the hallway, and there are more of those wooden curtains where you can break them with Benkei. Beyond that is another armor for Benkei. Continue down the hallway and get the item from the jar at the corner. Break the curtains and there is another item box within. Now time to back track and take that right path. Enter the door at the end of that leads to a new room with tons of enemies for you. After, two stairs to up and it doesn't matter which one you take. Walk a bit and more scene. There is a save point down, be sure to use it. This is the final save point of the game. Go around and break jars. Almost all jars are gold, except one is health. After, once you are ready for the final battles, enter the door. ~Final Battles More scenes. Here comes the boss fight. Kiyomori has a barrier around him and will be doing all kinds of magic. When he uses two fireballs to attack you, slash them back to his barrier. Basically, just deflect his magic back to his barrier. After few times, the barrier will be down. Go near him and attack like crazy. When he's low on HP, he uses more attacks. It gets a bit difficult to deflect anything. Don't guard and try to avoid a lot here. If all fails, go up and just slash the barrier. After you beat him, more scenes. Since you can't do anything but to switch to the other character, so just pick the character you want, then take the red warp point. Continue up and more scenes. This is the final, against a powerd up Kagekiyo. He is not hard, just a bit too fast. I prefer to use Yositsune because he is faster than Benkei. Hopefully, you still have lots of healing items because you will need them. Guard and wait for the chance to attack. When he shoots up lasers and have them to rain on you, just keep flipping/evading. Doing Mind's Eye here can inflict some good damage. When he makes the whole floor a damage zone, try to jump and attack. This will take a while. After you beat him, sit back and enjoy the ending of the game. At the end, the game will promt you to make a Clear Data Save, do so. At the Title Menu, there is now one more option, "Special". It contains 6 things. You just unlocked Movie(29 in total), BGM(46 in total) and Voice(9 characters plus 1 extra). There are 3 more but yet to be unlocked... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you load that Clear Data Save, that gets you back to the final save point of the game. Everything is just as when you beat the game. Do whatever you wish with that. You can try to perfect this Clear Data Save as much as you want. Once you are ready, select "New Game" at the Title Menu. This time, you have 3 modes: Normal Mode, Hard Mode and Continue Mode. Normal Mode is what you just beat, Continue Mode will need that Clear Data Save. As you might have guessed it already, you start the game from the beginning but you get to keep pretty much everything in that Clear Data Save. Of course, except things like Key Items. As for Hard Mode, you can not level up, buy anything and other things... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just select "New Game", then you can select this mode. As said already, you can not buy anything nor make anything. Aside from that, some Chick Stones' locations are either altered or removed. However, enemies can drop Chick Stones. All item boxes and jars are empty, except the item boxes that contain KeyItems that are required to move on the game. Further, you DO NOT level up, which means you remain at Level 1 for the entire mode. How do you tackle this? Be extra careful, guard/evade often. Also, use Mind's Eye ONLY when you get the timing perfectly. Otherwise, you can use Kamui. For boss battles, take your time and step by step. If you want to deal heavy damage, you either need to use Mind's Eye or Kamui. If you need the Kamui Gauge to charge up, just guard or evade around til it fills up. Since enemies drop Chick Stone, DO visit areas couple times and fight some enemies, to gather more and more Chick Stone. With those, you can strengthen your Health, Atk and Def. This is how you grow your character in Hard Mode. Next, in Hard Mode, you can now take trials. Still remember those round mechanism in places like Myougou Temple(Chapter 1 & 3) and Oushuu Hiraizumi? You can enter those for trials. Basically, you are to kill 100 enemies. For high prizes, use Kamui and chain all 100. Yes, that means no break, such as the enemy able to hit you. In fact, You would LOVE TO HAVE these prizes they offer, aside from items and accs, you also get weapons and armors. This is pretty much the only way you can strengthen yourself aside from the way that requires those Chick Stones. ~Chick Stone Healing Trick Normally, with 3 Chick Stones, you can either power up your Health, Atk or Def up a level. The trick is the Health. Upon powering up the Health to the next level, you get a healing aside from raising up your max HP. What does that mean? Instant FULL healing! Of course, since this is Hard Mode, and we have limited healing items(unless you go through the trials all the time), we will ABUSE this to no end, ^_^! Always stock up Chick Stones, or at least have an amount that's divisible by 3. When you are low on HP, you can power up the Health up a level, and you can get instant heal. HOW NICE! For some bosses, you might need to at least stock up to 21 or more. ~Hard Mode Clear Bonus Upon beating Hard Mode, you unlock the remaining 3 things in "Special". They are: Character Arts(15 in total), Enemy Arts(19 in total) and Stage Arts(12 in total). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Me - CJayC - Game Republic - SCEI ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Document Copyright 2005 Kouli
