From this move you can start an Oi Uchi (Kawarimi Throw Sequence) - Air Throw: Like the regular throw, only that done in the air. - Fall Recovery: Tap X after you were thrown or after you lost a Kawarimi Throw Sequence (Oi Uchi), right before you hit the ground. This will make your character boucne back instead of staying on the ground. - Kawarimi: Pressing the Block button right when the opponent's hit is about to hit you. This will cause a log to appear and your character will suddenly appear behind the opponent. (Can be used in the Air and when a Throw starts) - Oi Uchi: (Oiuchi) Kawarimi Throw Sequence. When you throw your opponent or when you finish a combo, if you press the direction in which the opponent is flying to plus Circle, a Kawarimi Throw Sequence will start. Pressing the direction that would point to the Opponent's Back + Circle at the right time will cause your character to Kawarimi Behind it. If your opponent fails to perform the same thing against you, you'll win the Throw Sequence and hit him onto the ground. If he succeHoshikageeds, you'll have to press the direction + circle again, and so on and so forth. With each successful Kawarimi, the speed will increase. - Cancel Hit: Situation in which both you and the opponent hit each other with a normal attack at the exact same time, producing both characters to dash backwards. Great timing and move reading is the key to master this. For more information on this, look at "Obtaining Equip-able Jutsu", Number [27], which is "Hoshikage Kisame's Suiton Suikotoppa" Jutsu. - Jutsu: Attack performed by every character by pressing Up, Up, Circle or Down, Down, Circle. Sometimes referred to as "Super Attacks". - Ougi Attack: Attack performed by every character by pressing Triangle from 1 to 3 times, then pressing Circle. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S002]+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Gameplay Breakdowns -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ This section will deal with the various gameplay issues that many gamers have regarding certain combat features in Naruto: Narutimetto Hero 2. Here, I will try to clear the mystery that's on those particular things that can make some battles a real living hell. .:- Cancel Hits =============== These ones take the first prize. So, people want tips regarding this? Well, bad news. There are no tips on how to get EASIER Cancel Hits... But I can give you tips on how to get Cancel Hits with a bit more frequency. - If you are on a Ninja Mission, try selecting the same character you are to fight against. This will cause your hits to have the same animation and with some luck, the same speed, making the situation of Cancel Hits appear more often. - Don't try obtaining Cancel Hits by performing Combos. Instead, just stand before your Enemy, and tap Circle over and over again (without starting a combo in the process). Eventually, you'll see that the Enemy will try to hit you. Try to learn his animation frames. Try to "get his timing". Really, it's a matter of practice and good reflexes (and a bit of luck) and not a matter of Guides or anything like that. Just keep trying and you'll start getting it slowly! Good luck! .:- Oi Uchi =========== Also known as "Kawarimi Throw Sequences". There isn't much science on this one but it seems that people have problems with it. If you just CAN'T win at one of these, try to following: - Keep the the directional pad pressed against the direction your opponent should fly towards to, and proceed to mash the Circle button away. Sometimes, the CPU can be tricked with this and it will take your input as correct. There really isn't much more to add here. Just keep practicing! .:- Fall Recovery ================= This one is a bit harder, as it requires ULTRA FAST reflexes, and no button mashing will help you on this one (unless you are very lucky). Fall Recoveries happen when you press the Jump button on a very precise and short moment. If you pay attention, right after you are knocked from the air, or from a Oi Uchi sequence, you'll see that your character "blinks" for a moment. THAT'S when you need to press the Jump button. Yes, don't look at me like you never saw that blinking on your character, like glows white for a micron and then disappears. There is ONE moment in which you can recover. Not 2. So you will need to practice a lot to learn such recoveries. .:- Air Recovery ================ Sometimes, after you were thrown sideways, if the Enemy doesn't start an Oiuchi Sequence, your character will glow in the same way it does for the above item, Fall Recovery. Simply press Jump when you see that, and your character will recover in the air. Mind you, this is very difficult, and requires incredible reflexes and amazing timing. Again, practice and practice are the key for this. .:- Throw Escape ================ This one works almost exactly like the "Fall Recovery". When your Enemy grabs you, depending on the type of grab and the character you are fighting against there will be a moment in which your character will glow white / "blink for a second. If you press "Block" at that moment, you'll make a Kawarimi and appear behind the opponent. It's a really useful technique, and you'll need it for many many missions in which the CPU gets too cheap and starts harassing you with throws over and over again. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S003]+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Menu Translation -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [1] Splash Screen --- a. To access it, press Triangle to make the menu appear, then select the 2nd option from the top. You'll be able to go through all the characters (except the ones you can't upgrade) and you'll be able to use your hard-earned Experience Points from Story and Ninja Missions into your characters: 1. Attack Power 2. Defense Power 3. Chakra Control (Molding time & Consumption) 4. Speed (Higher Jump, Faster Movement, Longer Dashes) 5. Status Aliments (Duration times increased/decreased) 6. Default Ninja Item Power-up (Which items your character starts with) If you press Triangle on this screen, you'll see a list for the Jutsus each character has ("Super Attacks", not "Ougi Attacks"). During the game, you will be able to learn certain Jutsus from many characters. This is where you equip those Jutsu to each character. Everyone has ONLY TWO SLOTS where you can place Jutsus, and you can't equip the same Jutsu twice on the same char_ acter (besides, what would be the use for that?). Some characters won't be able to equip certain Jutsus (Like Rock Lee won't be able to equip ANBU no Kakashi's Chidori, or Sasuke won't be able to equip Naruto's Sexy no Jutsu). One last thing, you can equip a certain Jutsu to all your characters at the same time if you like, so you'll be able to equip Lee's Konoha Senpou to Naruto, Gai, Lee, Sasuke, Kakashi, Itachi or whoever you want at the same time without a problem. There's a limit to the amount of Experience Points you can get with each character while playing missions. That limit is 9999 Exp. Points, which means that you will not be able to Max. Out every stat for every character. You'll have to balance the character to your liking with that set amount of points. If you feel that you made a mistake while upgrading a character, you can use a handy In-Game service provided by the lovely Godaime Hokage, Tsunade-sama, who can be found after Chapter 4 (after getting both her Jutsus for sure), on the Hokage Mountain in Konohagakure no Sato. She will allow you to move some of your spent points on each character from one stat to another one for a set price. As long as you can afford it (and you should if you are working your way to getting the S-10 Ninja Mission), you won't have any problems. -----------------------[] Non-Upgradeable Characters []---------------------- There are a few Unlockable Characters that cannot be upgraded, modify and/or use at all during the Story/RPG Mode. Here's the list of those characters: - Souke no Chi ni Mesametta Hinata - Kyuubi Naruto - Konoha no Aoi Majuu Uzumaki Naruto - ANBU no Kakashi - Fuuinsareta Orochimaru You won't be able to equip new Jutsus to these charactesr, or raise their stats at all. So now you know. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S005]-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Locations -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Naruto: Narutimetto Hero 2 has several locations that you can visit while in RPG Mode (and to fight at in Versus, Practice and Story mode). Since this FAQ usually makes reference to those places, here's the name, translation and description of each area. A little note: when I say that you'll be able to find an X character here or there, some times those characters may not be there because their subquest wasn't activated or the requirements for them to be at those places has yet to be met. Please, don't email me about in depth information about where or how to activate those subquests, as it will be added in future versions, ok? So, on the the locations... [1] Konohagakure no Sato (Hidden Village of Konoha) ~ Map: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/hyo/1_konoha.jpg This is where you start the game, and where most events and missions occur. When you go to another city or country, it will be the first option you are given when you try to leave that place. Otherwise, it will not be listed. Here you will find 5 of the 6 minigames you can find in this game, as well as most of the Obtainable/Equip-able Jutsus. Here's the exact location for the minigames you can find here in Konoha: ¬ Sakura's Tree Climbing: Find her at the area labeled "Woods" on the map. ¬ Lee's Push Up Training: Find him at the "Training Grounds". ¬ Shikamaru's Shadow Jutsu Training: Find him at the "Chuunin Exam Stadium". ¬ Gai's Pose Training: Find him at the "Chuunin Exam Stadium". - Gai's Handstand Race: Find him at the "Monument Area". After the 4th Chapter, you'll be able to find Orochimaru at the Swamp area of Tanzakugai-machi, as well as Jiraiya and Shizune. Tanzakugai is the first option when you leave from Konoha. Here you can find Gaara, Temari and Kankurou, as well as a Merchant that you'll need to come to in order to get some items that you'll need to give other people to get Items or Jutsus. Since Temari is here, you'll need to come here to start her Subquest to get her Jutsus. Sunagakure is the 3rd option when you leave Konoha. Shikamaru asks Naruto if he can search for a certain item (A Flower, or something related to a flower). Of course, if you agree, you'll have to search for this. You can get this item from the Gate 44 area inside Konohagakure no Sato, from Yamanaka Ino's father, who will be standing there, right next to the bridge. After that, go back to Shikamaru and give him the flower. Your reward: 50.000-ryou (Who knew Shikamaru was THAT rich..?) (Thanks to boblibob for his corrections in this particular mission!) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S010]+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Hidden Golden Scrolls Locations -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ In every stage in the game there's one "Hiden Ougen Makimono", or like we are going to call them, Hidden Golden Scrolls. To get them, you need to do some things in each stage. Why would you bother? Well, Because one of the S-Rank Missions is to obtain all of these Scrolls. You can obtain almost every single scroll while in Practice Mode, except the ones that require you to get help from a suppor character or to do things with the opponents support character. So here is the list and how to obtain all 18 of them. - Konohagakure no Sato's Ichiraku Ramen Stage (Foreground) Hit the lamps hanging from the shops, just one time each. Be careful not to destroy any lamp or you'll have to wait until you fight in that stage again. - Konohagakure no Sato's Chuunin Jiken Stadium Stage (Foreground) Enter and exit the tunnel from left to right 3 times. - Konohagakure no Sato's Hokage Mountain Stage (Background) Destroy the 4 Hokage Faces in the background. Then go jump on the tree that appears in the middle of the Background section of the Stage. - Konohagakure no Sato's Chuunin Jiken Stadium Roof Stage (Background) Dash back and forth from the head of the Giant Frog to the head of the Giant Snake without falling in the middle. Do it 3 or 4 times and you should get this stage's hidden scroll. - Konohagakure no Sato's Fish Statue's Roof Stage (Background) Stand on the top of the tail of the fish on the left side of the stage, and then wait until the wind starts blowing. Resist the wind, don't fall from the tail, and you'll recieve the scroll. - Konohagakure no Sato's Training Area Stage (by tiamat2san @ GameFAQs) Destroy Wooden Dolls/Targets until it appears. - Konohagakure no Sato's Monument Area Stage (Background & Foreground) Hit the opponent's support character until you get the scroll (5-6 times) - Konohagakure no Sato's Hot Spring Stage (Foreground) Throw your opponent with a regular combo against the structure that looks like a wooden stand on the left only ONCE. Then throw him by using another regular combo against the wall on the right end of the Stage, also, only once. If you do this correctly, you'll receive the scroll. If you throw your opponent against the structure or the wall more than once, the structure will break and you'll have to start the level again to get the scroll. Kudos to this go to Mikael Jonsson (sent by email). - Konohagakure no Sato's Gate 44 Stage (Foreground) Hit the fish on the river when it jumps 3 times. - Konohagakure no Sato's Woods - Shin no Mori Stage (Foreground) Destroy every bush and branch on the stage before they re-appear. - Tanzakugai-machi's City Area Stage (Foreground) Hit the Slots machine on the right until the scroll comes out. - Tanzakugai-machi's Swamp Area Stage (Background) Wait until the big Snake leans forward, then jump and hit her head. Do that 4 to 5 times until you get the scroll. - Sunagakure no Sato's Desert Area Stage (Background) Destroy approximately 5 objects that are caught inside the tornado. - Sunagakure no Sato's City Area Stage (Foreground) Hit the vending machine on the left until you get the hidden scroll. - Nao no Kuni's Hideout/Woods Area Stage (Background) Stand in the highest area of the house until the scroll appears. - Nao no Kuni's Bridge Stage (Foreground) Stand on the boat that's resting in the river until you get the scroll. - Snow Country's Ice Shrine Stage (Background & Foreground) Hit the opponent's support character until you get the scroll (5-6 times) - Snow Country's Snowy Pass Stage (Background & Foreground) Destroy Wooden Dolls/Targets until it appears. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S011]+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Mini-Games Winning Conditions +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ The following Winning Conditions are to obtain the "Great Victories" (used to get Ninja Bags from some of these characters. Thanks to Urielsama from the GameFAQs board for this information. - Sakura's Tree Climbing: Winning time must be less than 1:20. - Lee's Push Up Training: Win the first 2 rounds. - Shikamaru's Shadow Jutsu Training: Win without any errors. - Gai's Pose Training: Win without any errors. - Gai's Handstand Race: Winning time must be less than 1:10. The Ninja Bags (or Scrolls) give you hints on how to get the Hidden Scrolls that were treated in the previous section. However, they are no good for you if you can't read Japanese. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S012]+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Equip-able Jutsu List +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ In this game, a very interesting feature in the Story Mode is the ability to get Jutsus from different characters in the game... and use them on any of the selectable characters! Yes, you can finally have your Sasuke with Chidori (even if it doesn't have that name in this game...) or Naruto with a beautiful Kuchiyose Yataikusushi! To get these Jutsus, you have to search for characters during various stages of the game's Story Mode, talk to them, and meet special requirements, that may vary from fighting them under certain conditions or buying an item for them, or helping them to look for a particular item. Here's a partial list of the EQUIP-ABLE Moves ONLY: ~ Uchiha Sasuke (Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu, Musou Shippujin) ~ Rock Lee (Konoha Senpou, Konoha Reppou) ~ Hatake Kakashi (Sennen Koroshi) ~ Orochimaru (Fuujin Nappa) ~ Momochi Zabuza (Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu, Suiruu no Jutsu) ~ Hyuuga Hinata (Juukenranda, Choukaiokuyaku) ~ Tenten (Ningu Kuchiyose, Kagura Shuriken) ~ Yamanaka Ino (Jurokuren Combo, Shinobi Hanatori Kaputo) ~ Temari (Sensougouheki, Kamaitachi no Jutsu) ~ Maito Gai (Dynamic Entry) ~ Jiraiya (Kuchiyose Yataikusushi) ~ Sandaime Hokage / Sarutobi-sensei (Katon Karyuuendan, Doton Doryuuheki) ~ Uchiha Itachi (Kagebunshin Sai, Kagebunshin Chihoro) ~ Hoshikage Kisame (Suiton Suikotoppa) ~ Tsunade (Choukakato a toshi, Hakuchiuchi) ~ Shizune (Tonton Tonton, Ninpou Dokukiri) ~ Yakushi Kabuto (Nehanshoujo no Jutsu) ~ ANBU no Kakashi (Wakaki Ikazuchi) These 31 Jutsu list includes ONLY the Jutsus that you can either acquire through the game. Even if you already have Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu and Musou Shippujin on Sasuke from the first moment you play the game, you won't be able to equip those Jutsus on any character until you unlock them by following the instructions listed in the next section for each of those Jutsus. Feel free to send me your corrections on the names of the Jutsus (but please, don't tell me the names that you can find on the Fansubs for this series, I know those too, I just used the Furigana - the little Hiragana and Katakana characters above the Kanjis on the Character Edit Screen - and transcribed them here. So, that's why you won't see Sasuke's "Shishi Rendan", and you'll see "Musou Shippujin" instead: it's the same move, but on the game it appears with a different name. So don't blame me about it, ok? =P) Another note about customizing the Jutsus on a character, sometimes, you will not see a certain Jutsu on a character's list of selectable Jutsus. Why do you ask? Well, we (fellow gamers and myself) believe that it's because you can't put a Jutsu on a character that would look REALLY out of place... for instance, we all know that Lee can't use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu... so him doing a Chidori/Raikiri would be VERY weird, right? Right. So the programmers decided to add some limitatinos to this, and you won't be able to add certain Jutsus on certain characters. A list for that may come later, but don't count on it! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S013]+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Obtaining Equip-able Jutsu +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Most of the Jutsus you can get are not hard at all... but there are some hard ones to get. I'll list those first, and as I get more time to work on this, I will add all of them. A quick comment: many of these Jutsus can be obtained on many chapters. However, the chapters that appear in the "Time Window" line on these Jutsus are CONFIRMED. So you might be able to find some Jutsus sooner than stated on these section, and some later than that. Again, those time windows show a chapter in which you WILL be able to learn that Jutsu (provided you have not learned it on a chapter before it...). Credits for a lot of this info go to T08145 from the GameFAQs board. Kudos to him! The first one is located in the Hideout Area in Nao no Kuni (Water Country), near the right-most area from this screen; At the Hokage Mountain area, to the right, you'll see a pot. And yes, I know it does not make any sense, but oh well... [17] Yakushi Kabuto's Nehanshoujo no Jutsu (Location: Nao no Kuni ~ Hideout) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 Go to the Water Country, and head to the Hideout/Woods area. You'll see Kabuto here, talk to him but... no so fast! He will throw a smoke bomb and leave. So, just exit the screen and re-enter it. Kabuto will be there once again and he won't leave this time: Winning Conditions - Win - Enemy has Health Regen Status Win and you'll get the ultra-cheap "Nehanshoujo no Jutsu". Seriously, this Jutsu should be called "Cheating no Jutsu"... [18] Temari's Kamaitachi no Jutsu (Location: Sunagakure no Sato ~ 2nd Screen) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 Temari is going to teach you her signature move! The thing is, you will need to spend the hefty amount of 75.000-ryou for an item she needs. You can buy it from the Merchant behind the stone in the Monument Area, in Konohagakure. Buy the item, then head back to Sunagakure no Sato and talk to her. Your reward: Temari's signature move, "Kamaitachi no Jutsu" [19] Temari's Sensougouheki (Location: Sunagakure no Sato ~ 2nd Screen) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 After getting her Kamaitachi no Jutsu, leave Sunagakure no Sato, the Sand Village. Re-enter it and head to the area where all 3 Sand-nins are. Talk to Temari and she will ask you for yet another item. Get it from the same Merchant you bought the first item for her Kamaitachi no Jutsu, only that this time you'll have to pay 100.000-ryou. Get the item to Temari... Your reward: Temari's "Sensougouheki" Jutsu. [20] Jiraiya's Kuchiyose Yataikusushi (Location: Tanzakugai-machi ~ Swamp) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 Yay! A GREAT Jutsu for our Naruto! And we can get rid of the terribly useless Fuuma Shuriken one! To get this Jutsu, you'll need to find Jiraiya at the Swamp in Tanzakugai-machi. Talk to him and prepare for battle: Winning Conditions: - Win - Enemy has increased Attack Status - Do Kawarimi 3 times Then you'll have to fight him again: Winning Conditions - Win - Beat him in 60 Game Seconds - Do Kawarimi 3 times - Do Oiuchi 3 times (Kawarimi Throw Sequence) After you win, Jiraiya will teach you the useful "Kuchiyose Yataikusushi"! [21] Orochimaru's Fuujin Nappa (Location: Tanzakugai-machi ~ Swamp) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4, after getting Jutsu no. [17] Orochimaru will teach you a Jutsu... his intentions cannot be good, ne? But what the heck, we want his Jutsu anyway! Go meet him in the Swamp area in Tanzakugai-machi. Talk to him and prepare for battle: - Win - Low Gravity - You must beat Orochimaru with a Throw - Enemy MUST NOT use Ougi Attack After you win, you'll recieve la Ventisca del Sur, "Fuujin Nappa" Jutsu. [22] Tsunade's Hakuchiuchi (Location: Tanzakugai-machi ~ City Area) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 Go to the Bridge Area in Konoha. Right when you enter that screen (coming from Ichiraku Ramen Area), near the wooden wall, you should find an item lying on the floor. Pick it up, and now you'll be able meet Tsunade in Tanzakugai-machi. Once you do that, go to Tanzakugai-machi (If you cannot "talk" to anything in that area, it means you have already interacted with it and that Tsunade should be in Tanzakugai). Find Tsunade in front of the big Slots machine. Talk to her, and she will ask you to do something. Say "Yes", and you'll appear playing the Slots minigame. Win around 2500-3000 coins, cash-out and go talk to her. She'll be surprised but that doesn't matter! Your reward: Tsunade's "Hakuchiuchi" attack! [23] Tsunade's Choukakato a Toshi (Location: Konohagakure ~ Ichiraku Ramen) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 You'll see Tsunade standing near the shop on the left in the Ichiraku Ramen area. Talk to her and she'll ask you for an item. Buy it from the Merchant in Sunagakure no Sato (Sand Village) for 25.000-ryou. Go back to her and give her that item... Your reward: Tsunade's "Choukakato a Toshi" [24] Sandaime Hokage's Doton Doryuuheki (Location: Konohagakure ~ Roofs) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 Serach for the 3rd Hokage in one of the 3 floors that you can get to by using the Elevator near the end of the Chuunin Exam Stadium's entrance. Talk to him and prepare to fight: Winning Conditions - Win - Player has decreased Defense Status - Enemy has increased Attack Status - Enemy has increased Defense Status Win and you'll get his (kind of disgusting) "Doton Doryuuheki". [25] Momochi Zabuza's Suiruu no Jutsu (Location: Nao no Kuni ~ Bridge) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 To get Zabuza to appear on the Bridge at this place, go to the area where the entrance to the Chuunin Exam stadium is (right beyond Ichiraku Ramen). There, you'll see Kiba, Ino and Chouji. To Chouji's right, facing a poster that looks torn apart on the wall, you'll see the symbol that appears when you can interact with things (the little yellow card with the Konoha symbol on it). Press circle (or your action button), and a message will appear. After that, exit Konoha and head to the "Nao no Kuni" (this is a 2 area map, and it's not Tanzakugai-machi nor the Sand Village; it's the other one). When you arrive, you'll see Zabuza's ghost there, standing by the entrance to the Hideout/Woods area. Talk to him, and he'll ask you for 150.000-ryou. Pay him, and prepare for battle. Winning Conditions: - Win - Stand on the Water for 60 Game Seconds (Total) After winning you'll get Zabuza's "Suizuu no Jutsu". [26] Momochi Zabuza's Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu (Location: Nao no Kuni Woods) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4, after getting Jutsu no. [25] Remember where you fought Zabuza for his Suiruu no Jutsu? Well, go to the right from there and enter the Woods. You'll see Zabuza there again. Talk to him and he'll ask you for 10.000-ryou. Pay him, and then he'll ask you for 150.000-ryou again. Pay him yet again (boy, Zabuza is an expensive guy...), and prepare for battle. It should be an easy battle: Winning Conditions - Win - Cannot use Jutsu - Cannot use Ougi Attacks After winning, you'll be awarded with Zabuza's "Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Note ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some users in the board reported that they had to fight Zabuza twice here. Which events lead to that, I'm not sure, as this didn't happen to me on any of the times I've obtained this Jutsu. But upon shiroi 0079's request, I'll add the following Winning Conditions that might help you if you are stuck with the same problem: Winning Conditions - Win - Cannot use Jutsu - Player has decreased Defense status (?) [27] Hoshikage Kisame's Suiton Suikotoppa (Location: Nao no Kuni ~ Bridge) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4, after getting Jutsu no. [26] Kisame will appear after you defeat Zabuza for the second time and get both his Jutsus, so you won't be able to find him before that (at least I did not see him until then). So just go to him, talk to him and say Yes... prepare yourself! Winning Conditions: ~ Win ~ Do at least 3 Cancel Hits ~ Enemy is in Special Mode So, the first point, check. Third one, he is in some sort of Byakugan mode, no surprises there... Now, for the 2nd point... How do you do it? Well, before you throw your controller in frustration, I'll tell you this: It's HARD AS HELL to time your hits with Kisame's hits. What's the trick? NO TRICK. You have to try and try your ass off. I know, it sucks, but spent 2 hours to get those 3 cancels in one battle, because I ended a few battles with 2 cancels and Kisame wouldn't hit me with the only move that you can "read", which is when he pulls his arm back and hits you with it then. If you time it correctly, both characters will dash backwards. That's a Cancel Attack. Do this 3 times, and you'll see an open scroll at the bottom of the screen telling you that you met the quota and that you are free to beat the hell out of Kisame. After you win, you get Kisame's "Suiton Suikotoppa". [28] Uchiha Itachi's Kagebunshin Sai (Location: Konohagakure ~ Roof A) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4, after getting Jutsu no. [27] Head back to Konoha, enter the gate, go beyond Ichiraku Ramen to the Stadium, and then enter the Elevator. Go the 2nd Floor ("Kikyoushou Tenshugaku"), and you'll see Tenten there. Run to the left of the screen and you'll see... Woo! Uchiha Itachi! You can get TWO Jutsus from him in ONE battle... but it's a hard battle (not as annoying as Kisame's, but hard enough). Winning Conditions: ~ Win ~ Enemy has increased Attack Status ~ Enemy has increased Defense Status ~ Player's life must be at or above 80% You are probably thinking "well, no problem there"... well, the thing is that the CPU will be EXTRA cheap in this fight, and will do a Kawarimi at least 5 times per second, so you'll probably want to gnaw on your controller after a while because you can't even connect a single combo... After you win, you'll get: "Kagebunshin Sai" and "Kagebunshin Chihoro". [29] Uchiha Itachi's Kagebunshin Chihoro (Location: Konogagakure ~ Roof A) --- Time Window: After Chapter 4 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ See [28] Uchiha Itachi's Kagebunshin Sai ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That's it! All of the obtainable Jutsus (so far), and how to get them! So now to finish this, I'll say what the good ol' Maechen loves to say: "And that, as they say, is that.". Don't know what I'm saying? Then shame on you! Go play Final Fantasy X (and X-2) NOW! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S014]+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Jutsu Reviews +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Here's a personal review and overview on all the In Game Jutsus (meaning to say, not Ougi Attacks) available on each of the characters on this game. I stress the fact that these are PERSONAL reviews only. So maybe because of your Play Style, you'll find that Jutsus I rated with a 2/5, to you they are way better. So don't flame me, since these are MY Reviews! Ok? Then read on! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1] Hatake Kakashi -1- "Sennen Goroshi" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Kakashi will perform his "Hiden Taijutsu Oniji Senen Goroshi": He will vanish and appear behind the Enemy, kunai in hand, and will attempt to stick it up his/her... "rear". This move would have been SO much better if it had been a bit, JUST A BIT faster... Pros: Surprising, Evasive. Cons: Slow Recovery Time, Easily Blocked, Hardly Combo-able. -2- "Toton Tsuiga no Jutsu" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Kakashi will hit the enemy with his Kunai. After that, the opponent will get stunned while Kakashi performs a Summoning technique, which calls some of his Dog Summons that attack the opponent. Pros: Decent Damage, Easily Combo-able. Cons: Predictable, Boring. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2] Uzumaki Naruto -1- "Fuuma Shuriken" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 2/5 I hate to do this, but this Jutsu isn't good. Naruto will perform the genius plan he used against Zabuza (and which appears on his Ougi Attack no.1), and will throw a big Shuriken against the opponent, which will be no other than a disguised Naruto Bunshin. Pros: Can be done on the Aire. It's cool. And it's Naruto. Cons: Easily Blocked, Not Combo-able, Slow, Useless. -2- "Oiroke no Jutsu" ~ Type: Attack | Rating 4/5 Naruto will leap forward and hit the Enemy with his knee. Upon connecting, he will perform his "Oiroke no Jutsu", a.k.a. "Sexy no Jutsu". Then, "Naruko" will throw a kiss to the Enemy who will faint. Pros: Easily Combo-able, Cute Voice, Cute Girl... Naruko! Cons: Not fast enough. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [3] Haruno Sakura -1- "Meruhen Getto" ~ Type: | Rating: 2/5 Sakura's returning move from NH1. Here, she will leap forward, making a series of hits to the opponent, wether he blocks or not. It has been toned down since the previous game: now it does WAY less hits than before, and it's slower. Pros: Executes it from start to finish even if blocked, Combo-able. Cons: Slower and Weaker than before. -2- "Jandaro!" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Inner Sakura will appear, and together with Sakura will perform a combo on the Enemy. Pros: Combo-able, average damage. Cons: Leaves you too open if blocked. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [4] Uchiha Sasuke -1- "Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Sasuke will breath fire for a few seconds. This fire has multiple hit points, so if the opponent blocks, there's a chance of him being caught in the fire even after the block, if the enemy stops blocking. However, if the opponent blocks, he could just jump above you and get you good... Pros: Stall, Many Hit Points, Good Damage. Cons: Slow, Risky, Easily Blocked. -2- "Musou Shippujin" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 4/5 Also known as "Shishi Rendan". Sasuke will perform a Combo "a la Lee", which he will end by knocking the opponent into the ground with no chance of him recovering from the fall. Pros: Easily Combo-able, Fast, Cool, Nice Damage Cons: Leaves you TOO open if blocked. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [5] Kazahana Dotou -1- "Hyouton Kokuryuu Houfuusetsu" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Dotou will summon a Black Dragon who will go forward a long way, hitting the Enemy along the way. Not the fastest casting, but the Jutsu itself has some considerable speed and range. Pros: Fast, Good Damage. Cons: Not Easily Combo-able, Slow Summoning. -2- "Hyouton Souryuu Houfuusetsu" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Dotou will summon a pair of Black Dragons that will rise from the ground and will go upwards, spiraling. Pros: Good Range, Nice Damage. Cons: Slow Summoning, Not Easily Combo-able, Slow. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [6] Hyuuga Hinata -1- "Juukenranda" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 A regular Hakke combo. Pros: Combo-able, Nice Damage. Cons: Lag if Blocked. -2- "Choukaiokuyaku" ~ Type: Defense/Stats | Rating: 5/5 A GREAT move. Hinata will take out her medicine, and will heal some of her HP AND will also apply random helpful Status on herself, like "Healing", "Speed Up", "Attack Up", "Defense Up", etc. Sometimes, she will even equip 3 of those in just ONE use of this Jutsu. GREAT move! Pros: Read above! Cons: None! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [7] Aburame Shino -1- "Mushishihari no Jutsu" ~ Type: Chakra | Rating: 1/5 Shino will grab the Enemy using his bugs as to tie him up. You'll be prompted to smash the Circle button to absorb some Chakra from the Enemy. Really, it's useless. You'll get far more chakra out of the opponent with a simple combo. Pros: None. Cons: Slow, Useless, Waste of your own Chakra. -2- "Mushihashira no Jutsu" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Shino will perform 3 "Bug Geysers", which will appear one after another before him. When hit, the opponent is tossed into the air. Pros: Hits from Below. Cons: Below Average Damage, Easily Blocked, Hardly Combo-able. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [8] Inuzuka Kiba -1- "Dainamikku Maakingu" ~ Type: Attack / Psi-Attack | Rating: 2/5 Kiba will send Akamaru to go, literally, PEE on the Enemy. Eew. Pros: Can Distract the Enemy out of sheer repugnance. Cons: It's disgusting. -2- "Juujin Bunshin" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Kiba will throw a smoke bomb almost where he is standing. If the smoke hits the Enemy, a rather lengthy Combo Sequence takes place between Kiba and his Bunshin (Akamaru). Pros: Nice Damage, Fast Recover Cons: Way too short Range to be useful or Combo-able. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [9] Maito Gai -1- "Dainamikku Entorii" ~ Type: | Rating: 5/5 Gai will perform his "Dynamic Entry!" at an incredible speed. Nice, Gai! Pros: Lighting Fast, Good Damage, Easily Combo-able, Great Style! Cons: Little Recovery Time (If Blocked). -2- "Omote Renge" ~ Type: | Rating: 4/5 Gai will perform the "Omote Renge" combo, which will throw the opponent to the air. Then Gai will grab him and perform a lovely "Seismic Toss" to his Enemy. Pros: Good Damage, Fast, Surprising, Cool. Cons: Delay if Blocked. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [10] Nara Shikamaru -1- "Kagemane Bakudan" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 4/5 Shikamaru will perform one of his Shadow Binding Jutsus against the Enemy, and then he will throw a bomb at him. Pros: Easily Combo-able, Good Damage, Nice Range. Cons: Kinda Slow. -2- "Kagemane Kunai" ~ Type: Counter Attack | Rating: 5/5 Counter Attacks are great. Shikamaru will crouch, and if the Enemy hits him hits him during that moment, Shikamaru will perform one of his Shadow Binding moves against him, in which he'll make him pose a bit, and then end him with some Kunais. Pros: Counter Move Greatness, Shikamaru's Style. Cons: None. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [11] Akimichi Chouji -1- "Nikudan Sensha" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 4/5 Chouji DOES have great Jutsus! Here, he will transform into a huge spinning ball, which can hit the opponent several times. Warning though, if you don't hit him, you'll end up dizzy for a few moments. Pros: Combo-able, Incredible Damage. Cons: Side Effect if you miss. -2- "Nikudan Harisensha" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 5/5 Incredible Jutsu! Chouji will transform into a ball with SPIKES, and torture the opponent for AMAZING damage! Pros: Easily Combo-able, Can be done in the Air, Consumer Cons: None! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [12] Yamanaka Ino -1- "Jurokuren Combo" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 4/5 Ino will leap forward with her fist in front. If it connects, a combo will be unleashed against the opponent, who will be hit for 16 Hits. Pros: Combo-able if against the wall, Fast, Nice Damage Cons: Leaves you too open if blocked. -2- "Shinobi Hanatori Kaputo" ~ Type: Attack/Status | Rating: 5/5 As someone said, "Poison is your Friend". This move will throw 3 purple roses to the opponent (not forward, actually to where the opponent is). Has great reach and it's unblockable, which means that this is an absolute winner. Pros: Unblockable, Fast, Good Range, Difficult to Dodge. Cons: None! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [13] Tenten -1- "Ningu Kuchiyose" ~ Type: Item | Rating: 3/5 Tenten will do her Ningu Kuchiyose, which will "Summon" several items around Tenten. However, your opponent can also pick them up, so use this Jutsu with plenty of space between you and the opponent. Pros: Free Items Cons: Items are pretty much useless... -2- "Kagura Shuriken" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 1/5 A royal piece of crap. Tenten will throw some Shurikens, and will hit for the exact same amount of damage as the "Seneishuriken" item. Which is virtually none. Avoid this at all costs... Pros: None. Cons: Little Damage, Easily Blockable, Useless. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [14] Hyuuga Neji -1- "Juukenranda" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Neji will hit the opponent and unleash a combo on him. Regular attack. Pros: Good Damage, Easily Combo-able. Cons: Leaves you open on some situations if blocked. -2- "Kaiten": Type: Counter + Defense | Rating: 4/5 This is Neji's Kaiten, a move that will create a defensive barrier for 1 second around Neji. This spinning barrier can counter almost every move, as well as attack an opponent for the same damage of the Juukenranda. A great move! Pros: Good Damage, Absolute Defense, Counter, Fast. Cons: A bit of a Slow Recovery time. Nothing serious. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [15] Rock Lee -1- "Konoha Reppou" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 4/5 Lee will hit the opponent. If he connects, he will unleash a Taijutsu combo on him that will knock him out for sure. Typical Lee! Pros: Fast, Combo-able, Nice Damage, Lee's Style! Cons: Dangerous if blocked. -2- "Konoha Senpou" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 5/5 Lee's signature move, Konoha Senpou. Lee will perform a low spinning kick, that will knock the opponent and will make leaves fly around. Great move! Pros: Lightning Fast, Good Damage, Easily Combo-able. Cons: None! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [16] Sabaku no Gaara -1- "Ju??nchijin Ha" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Ju??nchijin Retsu" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [17] Kankurou -1- "Kugutsu Manjihau" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Kugutsu Yarashihari" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [18] Temari -1- "Kamaitachi no Jutsu" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Sensogouheki" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [19] Haku --- "Sensatsu Suishou" ~ Type: Counter Attack | Rating: 3/5 Haku gets into his Defense Stance, but if the Enemy hits Haku while he is like that, Haku will counter the Enemy with his Ice Needles attack, Sensatsu Suishou Pros: Counter Moves are just too useful. Plus it looks great. Cons: Too slow when compared with other Counter Attacks. --- "Sen Sen Sanbu" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Haku will perform a combo using his Senbon (needles) for about 7 hits. After that, the opponent will be knocked down. Pros: Easily Combo-able. Cons: Slow, Predictable, Short Range. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [20] Kyuubi Naruto -1- "Choujuumitsu" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Yajuu no Honnou" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [21] Momochi Zabuza -1- "Suiton Suiruu no Jutsu" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Suiton Tsuiryuudan no Jutsu" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [22] Shizune -1- "Ninpou Dokukiri" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Tonton Tonton" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [23] ANBU no Kakashi -1- "Wakaki Zoha" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 4/5 Kakashi will perform a few seals which will summon some of Dogs that will get the Enemy from below. This move has a great feature that I think NO other move has, that's hitting the opponent from the Foreground to the Background, and vice-versa. Which means, you could go to the background, and perform the Jutsu and it will still hit the enemy. INCREDIBLE move. Pros: Hits EVERYWHERE, Good Damage, Surprise Attack. Cons: A bit Slow, Slow Recovery Time. -2- "Wakaki Ikazuchi" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 4/5 Kakashi will perform his one of his signature moves, known widely as Chidori or Raikiri. When performed, you'll be able to charge the move by holding down Circle (Down, Down, Hold Circle, Release). This will make a 3-Color bar appear above Kakashi. Once released, Kakashi will leap forward at a great speed, with a Chidori attack that can be unblockable if you charged it enough. Nice! Pros: Hold-able, Great Damage, Unblockable, Fast (or Slow). Cons: Slow (or Fast), Leaves you too open if blocked. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [24] Fuuinsareta Orochimaru -1- "Zetsudasu Yuuin" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Manda Yamikake" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [25] Yakushi Kabuto -1- "Nehanshoujo no Jutsu" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Chakra Mesuka" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [26] Hoshikage Kisame -1- "Suiton Suikotoppa" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Sakumetsuranbu" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [27] Uchiha Itachi -1- "Kagebunshin Sai" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 5/5 Itachi will throw one Bunshin against you at an INCREDIBLE speed, which will explode next to you. Pros: Lightning Fast, Great Damage, Surprising. Cons: Leaves you a bit open if you are too close to the Enemy and he blocks. -2- "Kagebunshin Chihoro" ~ Type: Counter Attack | Rating: 5/5 Counter Attacks are great. Itachi will raise one hand a bit, and if the Enemy hits him during that moment, Itachi will perform a Combo against him using 1 Bunshin to juggle the opponent with. Pros: Counter Moves are just too useful. Plus it looks great. Cons: None. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [28] Sandaime Hokage / 3rd Hokage -1- "Doton Doryuuheki" ~ Type: Attack/Defense | Rating: 3/5 Sarutobi will create a wall in front of him, made out of mud and soil. Pros: It can block items, can hit the opponent, stalls. Cons: Too slow to be really useful. -2- "Katon Karyuuendan" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 3/5 Just like Sasuke's "Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu", Sarutobi will breath fire for a while. However, the difference with this one is that you can Hold the move, and it has a greater Range. But other tham that, it's S.S.D.D. Pros: Hold, Stall, Many Hit Points, Good Damage. Cons: Easily Blocked, Risky. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [29] Jiraiya -1- "Kuchiyose Yataikusushi" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 4/5 Jiraiya will perform a Summoning Technique, that will literally make a giant frog with 2 swords on it's back to fall a few steps ahead of him. The speed of such fall is remarkable, and if the opponent does a Kawarimi, there's the chance that, even if he succeeds, he'll end up stunned for a few moments. Great move overall! Pros: Good Damage, Surprising, Useful, Double-Edged. Cons: Leaves you TOO open for Attack if blocked. -2- "Ninpou Horijisou" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 5/5 Jiraiya will jump forward while spinning. In the meantime, his hair will grow spikes that can hit the opponent to both of Jiraiya's sides, rendering the Enemy's Kawarimi useless, as he will get hit anyway. Another great move! Pros: Good Damage, Many Hit Points, Surprising, Easily Combo-able. Cons: Leaves you open to Attack if Blocked. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [30] Tsunade -1- "Choukakato a toshi" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Hakuchiuchi" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [31] Orochimaru -1- "Tsurugi no Mai" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 -2- "Fuujin Nappa" ~ Type: | Rating: /5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [32] Konoha no Aoi Majuu Uzumaki Naruto -1- "Narutimetto Entorii!" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 5/5 Naruto will perform Gai's "Dynamic Entry!" at an incredible speed. Then Naruto will grab him and perform a lovely "Seismic Toss" to his Enemy. Nice! Pros: Good Damage, Fast, Surprising, Cool. Cons: Delay if Blocked. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [33] Souke no Chi ni Mesametta Hyuuga Hinata -1- "Hakke Rokujuuyonshou" ~ Type: Attack | Rating: 5/5 Hinata will hit the enemy and perform one of Neji's and Hinata's moves, Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, which stucks the enemy for 64 hits. The screen turns black, a seal appears on the floor, and Hinata beats the Enemy up. Very flashy! Pros: Good Damage, Easily Combo-able, Fast Recovery Time, Very Flashy! Cons: None -2- "Kaiten": Type: Counter + Defense | Rating: 4/5 Hinata will perform Neji's Kaiten, that will create a defensive barrier for 1 second around Hinata. This spinning barrier can counter almost every move, as well as attack an opponent for the same damage of the Hakke Rokujuuyonshou A great move over all! Pros: Good Damage, Absolute Defense, Counter, Fast. Cons: A bit of a Slow Recovery time. Nothing serious. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S015]+-+-+-+-+ How to Obtain Naruto (Aoi Majuu) and Hinata (Souke) +-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ By playing and beating the Story Mode once, you can obtain all of the hidden characters in the game... except for 2. These are Naruto (Aoi Majuu Naruto) and Hinata (Souke). Important, to do this, you MUST first finish the 2nd Chapter of the Story Mode. Then enter the story mode again, and follow the following instructions. ~ Naruto (Konoha no Aoi Majuu Uzumaki Naruto) : First, you'll need to finish the game's Chapter 2 of the Story mode. Meaning to say, you'll need to watch the End Credits first. You'll re appear at the Ichiraku Ramen area. Here, talk to Hinata. Then go to the Chuunin Exam Stadium. Go to the far right of the Stage, you'll see Lee. Talk to him, accept his challenge and prepare to do some Push-Ups. After you are done, you'll get Lee's Konoha Reppou (Here, you can also start getting Souke no Chi ni Mesametta Hinata, so make sure you read that guide as well NOW). After that, head over to the Training Area. You'll see Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke, Kakashi and Gai there. Talk to Gai to start the Hand-stand Minigame. After you win, you'll engage in one battle against him. After you win, you'll need to find Gai again in front of Ichiraku Ramen. He'll be walking around the area. Talk to him, and he'll tell you that you need to wear a certain suit... but he lost his spare one, so you will have to buy one yourself from a Merchant in Tanzakugai. After talking with him, go to Tanzakugai-machi and buy a Might Suit ("Maitoo Suutsu") from the man to the left of the Swamp entrance. Head back to Konoha and meet up again with Gai at Ichiraku Ramen, and he'll tell you to try the Might Suit on. When asked, select "Yes" ("Hai"). After the talk, he'll tell you to go to the "Secret Training Spot". Go back to Tanzakugai-machi, and from there, head to the Plains (The Swamp one...) Beat the Pose minigame, then beat Gai. Gai's Winning Conditions: - Win - Do Kawarimi 3 times - Enemy has increased Speed status - Enemy has increased Attack status After that, you should obtain "Konoha no Aoi Majuu Uzumaki Naruto". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ Hinata (Souke no Chi ni Mesametta Hinata) : First, you'll need to finish the game's Chapter 2 of the Story mode. Meaning to say, you'll need to watch the End Credits first. You'll re appear at the Ichiraku Ramen area. Before proceeding, look for the Hinata's Herbs. There are 3 of them (You can find the locations on one of the How-To's for Hinata's equip-able Jutsus). After doing so, try to get every obtainable Jutsu so far, except for Lee's Konoha Reppou one. Now, save your game, make sure you have all of Hinata's Herbs, and go to the Chuunin Exam Stadium. Go to the far right of the Stage, you'll see Lee. Talk to him, accept his challenge and prepare to do some Push-Ups. After you are done, you'll get Lee's Konoha Reppou. Now, go outside of the Stadium, and you should see Hyuuga Hiashi standing there. Talk to him, and say Yes to his request. After that, head over to the Training Area. You'll see Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke, Kakashi and possibly Gai there. Talk ONLY to Hinata. This will start a conversation between Naruto and Hinata. When they finish talking, feel free to talk to Gai to start the Hand-stand Minigame (here, the strategy overlaps with the one that tells you how to obtain Konoha no Aoi Majuu Uzumaki Naruto, so refer to that one for more details, as I'll go straight to Hinata's things now). Anyway, your next stop to obtain Souke no Chi ni Mesametta Hinata is past Ichiraku Ramen: the Chuunin Exam Stadium. Enter the Stadium, and right in the center you'll see Hyuuga Hinata and Hyuuga Neji. Talk to either of them, say "Yes" (Hai) to the prompt and prepare to fight: Hyuuga Hinata vs. Hyuuga Neji: Winning conditions : - Win - Enemy must have NO chakra at the end of the fight. - Player must have full chakra at the end of the fight. - Enemy has Byakugan status Strategy: Well, not really a strategy... it could be a cheat too. Before going into battle, go to Konoha's Entrance. You'll see someone there who sells items for the battle. Buy a couple of Chakra restore items, then head to the Stadium for the fight. Once in the battle, hit Neji using the Lvl.2 Special. When you connect, finish the first part of the Special, but FAIL the second part! This is because you need to make sure that Neji will have enough life left for you to drain his Chakra before you kill him. After this, Hinata should be in Byakugan mode, this inflicting damange both Neji and his Chakra gague. Hit him hard, even if he blocks, his chakra will go down. Right before dealing the final blow, use one of your stocked Chakra restore items, to take your chakra to Lvl.3. Deal the last blow to Neji and you'll have completed this mission. After this very hard battle, you'll obtain "Souke no Chi ni Mesametta Hinata" +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [S016]+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Item List -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ In this game, you'll be able to buy items that you can use in battle.
