This guide will show you the secrets to add even more replay- ability to this already fabulous game. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ +++++Environmental Effects+++++ ~~ What are Environmental Effects? Environmental Effects are things that you can trigger that effect the entire, or at least some of, the environment. Use them to damage your opponent, but watch out--You could get hurt too! I recommend trying all of these in free-for-all mode, since that way you have no pressure. ~~ Tsunopolis: Starting the tidal wave In order to start the tidal wave, go around the island until you see a UFO in one of the corners of the island. Grab a throwable item like a car or a piece of the land, and go into manual aim mode. Throw it at the UFO and it will shoot out a green laser causing a huge tidal wave! Jump on a building and climb to the top, and any monsters on the ground will be damaged by the tidal wave. Good for when there's 3 other monsters roaming about the city. ~~ Atomic Island: Reactor venting On one side of the island there is a large building with an orange button on it. Jump up and do your cannonball attack (Up and Triangle) to land on it and cause atomic goo to come up. It looks like lava, and if you touch it (or your enemy, hopefully), you will be destroyed very quickly. In short: If you don't move, you're dead. ~~ Club Caldera: Great Balls of Fire In this Miami look-alike, there's a large crater behind the city. Inside, there are two volcanoes. Climb on top of either one, and jump up and do your cannonball attack. Do it until it says "Volcano erupting" and it will begin to shoot molten lava balls out. If a monster is hit with one, he/she will be set on fire and damaged. ~~ Baytown: Starting the Earthquake (submitted by Jean Brisson) "(Point of view from the water looking towards the land) Destroy the following: --Trees-- (100% sure that these are required!) 1. All the trees around the tall tower at the top-right of the map. 2. All the trees the pillars at the top left of the map. 3. All the trees on both sides of the road on the left that leads up to the pillars mentioned in #2. 4. The three trees on the right side of the building the the cloaking. (If this is confusing destroy buildings #1.) --Buildings-- (100% sure on the builds on the right in #1, the tall building and the docks.) 1. The first three buildings on both side of the road. 2. The tallest building with the +50. It's hard to miss. (I Think it's +50) 3. The building right beside #2 which is closer to the sea. 4. All the buildings at the docks. This works all the time. When I say that I'm 100% sure on something, it means that I triggered the earthquake while destroying it, therefore are absolutely required." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ +++++Level Tips and Secrets+++++ ~~ Atomic Island * Try blowing up the reactor in the center of the island. Doing so will release a large blue energy beam. Jump on top of the reactor and your energy will be charged up as long as you stay in the blue beam. * If using Ultra V, and your opponent is in the middle of the level, stand on the outside of the blue laser fences. Use your long-range special to grab your opponent. If done correctly, he will be pulled right into the blue laser fence, shocking him and damaging him greatly. ~~ Club Caldera * In the ocean is a large cruise ship. Destroy this to use the big pieces of the ship to hurl at your opponents. ~~ Gambler's Gulch * In front of the large Victorian-style mansion, there is a sword stuck in a stone with its hilt sticking up. Attack this to blow it up, leaving the sword on the ground. Pick up the sword, and use it as a melee weapon to do a high amount of damage to your opponent. * On top of one of the buildings is a boulder. Push this over so it falls to the ground. Try and run over people, buildings--and maybe even a monster or two. ;p ~~ Century Airfield * Not too much here...but if you destroy the large planes, they will explode which may set you or your opponent on fire. Also the pieces may be thrown to inflict damage. ~~ Rosdale Canyon * On top of one of the pillars is a boulder. Use this a lot to wear down your opponent quickly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ +++++Secret Characters+++++ ~~ Unlocking Mecha Sweet Tooth Wondering what Agamo's "special" fourth costume is? If you have a Twisted Metal: Black save on your memory card and you've beaten Sweet Tooth's storyline in the game, a message will appear on start up saying that you've unlocked him. He has the same moves as Agamo, basically. ~~ Raptros On the Century Airfield level in Adventure Mode, you fight two dragon-like creatures. Those are Raptroses. Raptros has the ability to fly for as long as its energy can allow it, and has a devastating flame attack. The fourth costume is the coolest, with a skeleton dragon. Raptros costs 200000 tokens. ~~ Zorgulon Remember those freaky little things on the UFO level in Adventure Mode? Yup, you guessed it. They have tentacles, big heads, and little spacesuits. Go figure. Zorgulon costs 200000 tokens. ~~ Ultra V's hidden partner Is there such a thing as robot love? Buy Ultra V's 4th costume to unlock a sweet female japanese mech. Check out that jetpack! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ +++++Contact Me++++++ Any questions or comments?
