Strategy: There really isn't a startegy for this one since they aren't that powerful until the last fights, so just concentrate your fire on one and that's it. Power Trask: ------------ He appears after defeating Trask on Ka Dingel, he's far more powerful that the first Trask. After defeating him he'll give you a Golden Dawn (PS Skill: Lifebringer). Strategy: First what you have to do is cast Permanence on everyone, then cast Shield, Turbulence, Quicken and Hyper or Valiant. After that cast Fragile on him and and also be sure to have Finet Arts equipped on Jet or Clive and at full count, always keep your members healed because he has a tech called Contaminated Crust which lasts 4 or 5 turns and is like if your party members are all poisoned, and no, Status Lock won't work, so better have a couple of full carrots loaded and do Finest Arts 3 to 5 times should do the work. But be careful because he always counters with Bio-Missile and the more damage you inflict to him, the more damage you'll receive from the Bio-Missiles. John Dee: --------- You can find him at Greenlodge and in my opinion he's one of the strongest bosses out there, so better be prepared. After defeating him you'll get the Ebony Shadow. Strategy: First of all before the battle make sure to get Light and Dark Rings for everybody because he attacks with light and dark spells. When the battle starts you usually cast support Arcana but his time it won't work, he'll cast eraser right away, but I'll tell you a way to use that to your advantadge. Now you must try to cast Fragile and Decelerate on him, if it doesn't work don't waste another turn in a row, try later, well now with Virginia cast any support Arcana she has on anyone, that way you'll lure him to cast eraser and waste his turn, but he always counters your attacks so be ready to heal because he does LOTS of damage and if you get a Critical hit on him he'll get your HP down to almost 0 most of the time if you're not at a high level of course. Also have in mind that you can do the 9.9 EXP rate with this guy if you have the light and dark rings and if so you'll go up like 5 or 6 levels as a minimum. Heimdall Gazzo: --------------- He's a little hard to find, but he's at Dissection Facility on the room where you have two Big Blocks, move aside the block next to the wall and a door will be there, and there he is. After defeating him he'll give the Gold Licence which reduces the price of everything down to half which is very useful for the Black Market. Strategy: He's not that hard if you defeated John Dee before him, he'll use Dark based spells such as: Screaming Mad and Phantom Hazard. Just be sure to have the Dark rings and he's done for, he'll always counter with one of the spells I mentioned before, also you can cast all the support Aracana you have to make the battle easier, but the only ones I recommend are Shield, Turbulence, Quicken, Hyper and of course Permanence. As far as I can remember he also has an attack that confuses you, so have a couple of Clear Chimes loaded that you can get at Ruins of Dreams from the Myconids and also if you can get Amulets from the Zaebos or just cast Status Lock. Ragu O Ragla: ------------- This big guy can be found at 100th Floor of the Abyss. After defeating him you'll receive the Sheriff Star (PS Skill: Gun Hero). Strategy: Before the battle make sure you get Fire rings!!!!!! because on this fight they are necessary, if you fight without them you'll have a lot of problems. When fighting him you'll have to do as usual cast Shield, Protect, Quicken, Turbulence, Hyper and Permanence. He is very powerful on physical attacks, but with Shield and Turbulence you shouldn't have a problem with that, make sure to not attack him with magic, he'll counter right away with Paradigm Pollutiona non elemental magic that deals a LOT of damage. Be sure to have a lot of full carrots loaded because you'll need them to perform Finest Arts to finish the battle as quickly as possible. Ragu O Ragla 2nd: ----------------- He's back, and now he's stronger, if you defeated the 1st one you'll have to fight him in order to get out of the Abyss, and now you don't only need fire rings, but all elemental wards, if you don't have them all just make sure to at least have 6 or 7 of the wards. After defeating him you'll receive an EX File Key. Strategy: As I mentioned before you need all the elemental wards, or at least 6 or 7. When the fight starts do as always cast Shield, Turbulence, Protect, Quicken, Hyper and Permanence. After you do this just concentrate on doing Finest Arts because this is the only way to do damage unless you spent 40 PS Skill points on ATT PLUS, also another way to do damage to him is by equipping AP Ammo and have it at full count, but this method doesn't work too often, so better stick with the Finest Arts strategy. This battle takes a LONG time because he has 999,999HP. By following this strategy you shouldn't have any kind of problems, just keep doing Finest Arts and that'll do the work. ============================================================================== Non Hologram Archive File Bosses: ================================= Black/Blue Memory Figure Bombur: -------------------------------- You'll find him at Ark of Destiny's Basement. After Defeating him you'll get the Prism Stick. Strategy: This little guy is a pain in the back because you can't cast Fragile or Decelerate on him most of the time and his wheel laser attack just isn't a thing you would want, but just cast Protect on everyone along with Quicken and Permanence, he also has some attacks that leave you with amnesia and other status ailments, just have memo pens so that you gain the EXP, or then just cast Status Lock and Permanence, this battle takes some time, but you should be ok. Kraken: ------- This guy can be found at Little Twister's well. After defeating him you'll get the Comet Mark (PS Skill: ATT PLUS). Strategy: Before battle, again make sure you have the adequate equipment, go get some Water rings if you don't have everbody equipped with them because this is the easiest boss to make the EXP go to 9.9. Now in battle cast Shield, Turbulence, Quicken and Permanence on everybody and Hyper on Clive and Jet. If you want to get 9.9 EXP rate just let him attack for a lot of turns since he uses water based attacks always which are: Maelstrom and Hydro Launcher. When you think that you already have the 9.9 just use Copy Ability and cast his own spells on him since he's weak against water, I recommend to have Gallows with Aqua Wisp and Virginia with Love Charm so thatthey both attack with water, and before that cast Feeble Mind to do devastating damage. If you do that he'll die quickly. Balal Quo Naga 2nd: ------------------- This guy can be found by shooting a missile with Lombardia to some kind of Arc south of Little Twister on coordinates (X:5490,Y:3930). After defeating him you'll get an EX File Key. Strategy: He's very easy, just make sure to have the strongest Cannon and just shoot all your ammo at once, if he doesn't die on the first try he'll be on the second for sure. Adult Mag: ---------- This Boss can be found at Leyline Observatory's 3rd floor, just go to that book that says Adult Mag that requires a duplicator to read it, and also a requirement to fight is to be at Migrant level 18 or higher. After defeating this boss you'll receive the Adventure 10, then go to Clive's house and talk to Kaitlyn and she'll give you the last Adventure, #11, read them all to her to receive an EX File Key. Strategy: This guys are another pain in the back, but more painful. They will always cast Grav, which reduces your HP to half and also they use the Agony effect spell, so just cast Reflect on everyone along with Protect and Permanence, and just make the character with Fiery Rage go up to 100FP and Summon it, their HP is 12000 or something near that quantity. I think this is the only boss that doesn't require Finest Arts to defeat it. Black Box: ---------- This is the black chest that you find at Fortune Gear, after opening 319 chests go and open it and you'll fight him. After Defeating him you'll get an EX File Key. Strategy: This guy isn't that hard if you have Dark rings, but you also have to cast Shield, Hyper, Turbulence and Permanence because his physical attacks are very powerful so with Shield you take less damage or you just avoid them with Turbulence. Emperor Marduk: --------------- You have to talk to Lord Begucci after beating the Master League, to talk to him you must enter the arena and go left to find a door that leads to where he is. You have to talk with him to fight. After defeated you'll receive Dist Dims (PS Skill: MTC Recovery) Strategy: This guy also attacks with Dark spells and physical attacks, so for that just cast Shield, Turbulence, Hyper, Protect and Permanence. Protect is for his strongest attack called Sattelite Extinctor, even with protect his does a lot of damage so be ready to Heal and use Potion Berries and Mega Berries if any. Bad News: --------- He's the guy that attends on Gunner's Heaven, after defeating Emperor Marduk chat with him and he'll challenge you. After defeating him you'll receive an EX File Key. Strategy: This guy is very strong and has a lot of HP, so in that case you'll have to do as usual cast Shield, Turbulence, Quicken, Hyper and Permanence on everyone. If you don't have the ward against Confusion and Amnesia I suggest you go get the gears required or cast Status Lock. Now just attack him, but be careful because he always counters with Counter Tomahawk a powerful attack so be ready to heal and also he's able to heal himself, so try to deal as most damage as you can before he heals. It shouldn't be very hard by doing all this to defeat him. Lolithia: --------- This boss is on Mimir's Well, go to the console to input the password and instead of typing the password to open the door input "emeth", and you'll fight it. After defeating it you'll receive an Ice Ring. Strategy: Just do as always, cast Shield, Turbulence, Quicken, Hyper and Permanence on everyone and also if you don't have Ice Rings on everyone I suggest you cast Protect on everyone as well. After that cast fragile and Feeble Mind on him and use Fire gems, Cremate it and attach Fire if posibble. This battle should be over in a few turns. Ephrem Zein: ------------ This boss is on the 10th floor of the Abyss. After Defeating him you'll receive the Dragon Idol required for fighting Zephyr, Guardian of Hope. Strategy: This guy isn't a challenge if you have light rings equipped on everyone because he always counters with Luminous Impact, don't even try to cast a spell on him because he has Permanent Reflect, just cast Hyper on Jet and Clive and this battle shouldn't last too long. Luranaire Zein: --------------- This boss is on the 30th floor of the Abyss. After defeating him you'll receive a Booster Kit. Strategy: This guy is the same as the first one but now they're 2, just do the same as on Ephrem Zein and you'll be alright. Zaverga Zein: ------------- This boss can be found on the 60th floor of the Abyss. After defeating them you'll receive the Bone. Startegy: This guys are the hardest of the Zeins, they are non elemental, and when you attack they will counter right away with Paradigm Pollution, a very strong non elemental attack, what you'll have to do is, as on the first 2 Zeins cast Hyper and now this time cast Protect also along with Permanence so that you take less damage from Paradigm Pollution, but even with Protect you'll still receive a lot of damage so be ready to heal with Virginia's Mystic along with Dried Flower (PS Skill: Green Thumb) and Gallows' Heal with Extension. Also, be sure to defeat at least one before 4th or 5th turn of the fight, because if you don't they'll fuse into one Super Zein and they'll kill you with one hit, so be sure to defeat at least one!!!!! If you follow this advice you shouldn't have too much trouble defeating these guys. ============================================================================== Credits: ======== -To me for writing this FAQ. -To ZephyrJK for letting me use his FAQ as a reference on the format and for taking out the optional bosses names and items they give. ============================================================================== Copyright: ========== Wild Arms is a registered trademark of Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc.
