It's challenging and fun at the same time. You'll find this game fun too, but it does get tougher as you move on with the levels. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ III. About this game ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ This game first came out on December 29th, 1993. As you know, this game is very old now and finding it is NOT easy. If you own a legitimate copy of this game, then consider yourself lucky. But if you only have the ROM version of this game, then that's okay. Even though ROMS are illegal, this game only came out in Japan and was not distributed anywhere else outside of Japan. But fortunately the game was translated to english and thus this guide is based off from that version. If you want to play this game but don't know where to get it, then send me an email. If you do have the game, you'll need an emulator to run it. Get ZSNES from the official site: www.zsnes.com/ ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ IIII. The story ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ It seemed like everyone had finally gained a measure of peace for a while. Until... Chibi-Usa came and fell from the sky right onto Usagi's head. Usagi: "She used some kind of strange hypnotism on my family, and convinced them that she was my cousin! More difficult stuff!" Before that, the so-called Black Moon UFO appeared and targetted the Silver Crystal of illusion. It's only a matter of time before they attack again. Usagi: "Tuxedo Mask and I-- no, Mamoru, my love-- how are we going to do this?" Usagi (as Sailor Moon): "And, for interfering with maiden's love and all, on behalf of the Moon, I will completely punish you!" ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ V. How to play ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ If you are playing this game on an emulator, I will list the standard controls. But if you, by any chance, actually have this game then I'll also list the SNES controls. Keyboard: ========= Left, right, up, down = Directional pad A = Punch Z = Jump X = Super move (lowers health slightly) S = Special attack Enter = Pauses game Controller: ========== Left, right, up, down = Directional pad Y = Punch B = Jump A = Super move (lowers health slightly) X = Special attack Start = Pauses game -------- ( ) <===Power meter (press and hold the punch button ------ X3 B2 -------- until meter gets full, then let | |================ <===Health bar go and your character'll perform | |================ their favourite attack) | | ------ <==== Your character's avatar. If getting damaged, it will be in motion. Legend: X3 = Number of lives you have remaining B2 = Number of special attack you have left ~*~*~*~*~ VI. Tips ~*~*~*~*~ Here are a few good tips when you are playing the game: - Do NOT let yourself get cornered. This is foremost because getting cornered by a gang of enemies, without doing something quick, means you will lose a life. Keep pounding your enemies without letting them push you into a corner. Always stay near the center and pick off the enemies like that. - While pressing left or right, press the jump button to do a flip. Press the Punch button immediately once you're in the air to do a jump kick, which is very effective on taking out slow enemies or enemies that jump mid-air. - After performing a flip, press the down button then press punch to do a jump punch. This maneuever is not as effective as the jump kick, but still useful in some cases. - Hold the Punch button until your power meter gets full. Let go of the button and your character will perform her favourite technique (i.e. Moon Tiara Action). This is effective when fighting large groups of enemies. You can damage more than one enemy using this maneuver. - When in tough situations, do NOT hesitate to use your special attack. If you're up against a really tough boss and you're down to your last bit of health, use your special attack as it does very good damage to enemies. Do not use your special attack under any other circumstances other than this. - If too many enemies are close to you, get rid of them using the super move. Although it whittles your health down a bit, it can be worth it. Especially in boss fights. - If you are playing this game on an emulator, then you should know what Save State and Load State is, right? F2 is to save state and F4 is to load the state you just saved. This is very useful, especially when you're in tight spots. You can just keep saving state and load state to make a situation more advantageous. If you own this game for real, then good luck. You're going to need it. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ VII. Characters ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ ~*Sailor Moon~* ----------- Real name: Usagi Tsukino Name meaning: "Bunny of the Moon" Birthday: June 30 Horoscope: Cancer Blood type: O Hobby: Eating cake -Moves-: Hold punch + full power meter = Moon Tiara Action Go near an opponent = grab an opponent. Press punch to slap them, or press any directional pad then press punch to toss them. Super move = Spinning uppercut Special attack = Moon Sceptre Elimination Comment: A popular choice. Her spinning uppercut is quite useful, as it can hit a group of enemies. The super move is also pretty powerful. But Sailor Moon's punch attack might have a flaw, as some enemies can avoid it and attack her back. But her grapple move is pretty cool, as well as her special attack. Overall, she's a well-balanced character and is the best choice for beginners. ~*Sailor Mercury*~ -------------- Real name: Ami Mizuno Name meaning: "Friend of Water" Birthday: September 10 Horoscope: Virgo Blood type: A Hobby: Chess, reading -Moves-: Hold punch + full power meter = Shabon Spray Go near an opponent = grab an opponent. Press punch to flip kick them, or press any directional pad then press punch to toss them. Super move = Handstand spinning kick Special attack = Shine Aqua Illusion Comment: Her attacks are pretty fast and she can hit pretty well. Her grab moves are cool too. But becareful, because just like Sailor Moon, Mercury has the same flaw when her punch attack is being overused. Grappling your opponent then tossing them around is the way to go for Mercury, as it is for Sailor Moon most of the time. Overall, Mercury is also a cool choice for beginners. ~*Sailor Mars*~ ----------- Real name: Rei Hino Name meaning: "Spirit of Fire" Birthday: April 17 Horoscope: Aries Blood type: AB Hobby: Reading, fortune telling -Moves-: Hold punch + full power meter = Mars Fire Bird Go near an opponent = grab an opponent. Press punch to use kick attacks them, or press any directional pad then press punch to flip them over. Super move = CHandstand spiral kick Special attack = Celestial Fire Surround Comments: Mars' jump kick attack is not that good because enemies can easily counter it with just a single punch. But her special attack is very impressive. Mars' punch attack is low-ranged compared with the others, but her super move is sweet. Overall, Mars is an okay choice but I wouldn't choose her for a beginner. ~*Sailor Jupiter*~ -------------- Real name: Makato Kino Name meaning: "Wisdom of Trees" Birthday: December 5 Horoscope: Sagittarius Blood type: O Hobby: Cooking, shopping -Moves-: Hold punch + full power meter = Jupiter Thunder Dragon Go near an opponent = grab an opponent. Press punch to slap them, or press any directional pad then press punch to pick them up and slam them on the ground. Super move = Pirouette kick Special move = Coconut Cyclone Comments: Just like Mars, Jupiter's punch attack is low-ranged. She seems to be the only character cannot do a jump flip, and her jump kick attack is basically a full-body kick. Jupiter's Coconut Cyclone is very awesome as it can take out multiple enemies in one go. Her super move is not that impressive. Overall Jupiter is okay but once again, not good for a beginner's choice. ~*Sailor Venus*~ ------------ Real name: Minako Aino Name meaning: "Messenger of Love" Birthday: October 22 Horoscope: Libra Blood type: B Hobby: Playing, chasing idols -Moves-: Hold punch + full power meter = Venus LoveMe Chain Go near an opponent = grab an opponent. Press punch to knee kick them, or press any directional pad then punch to handstand toss them. Super move = Chain spin attack Special attack = Crescent Beam Shower Comments: Venus is the second good choice for beginners in my opinion. Her punch attack is well-ranged and her jump kick is good too. The special attack and super moves are useful too for her caliber. Make sure you don't overuse her jump kick by the way, because it CAN be easily countered by some enemies. Overall, Venus is as good as Sailor Moon. ~*Chibi-Usa*~ --------- Real name: Chibi-usa Tsukino Name meaning: "Small Bunny of the Moon" Birthday: June 30 Horoscope: Cancer Blood type: O- Hobby: Collecting rabbit stuff NOTE : You can only play as her if you select from the title screen "Chibi-Usa". -Moves-: Hold punch + full power meter = Umbrella stars attack Super move = Umbrella handstand spin kick Special attack = Luna P. bomb Comments: Playing as Chibi-Usa makes the game so much easier since most enemies cannot even touch her due to her small height! That includes some of the bosses too! But you cannot grab enemies with her (well she's only a child anyways!) I should tell you that if you play as Chibi-Usa, then you'll get an alternative ending of the game instead of the actual one. But if you need some practice on beating this game with the Sailor Senshis, it's a good idea to play as Chibi-Usa the first time around just so you get a feel of the story mode. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ VIII. Title screen ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ If you have the ROM version of this game, then chances are you may have the English version or the plain Japanese version. This game was played on the English version. If you're playing it on Japanese version (and actually own the game), but can't read the text, I'll display what it shows: Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon R START CHIBI-USA OPTIONS BATTLE A) Start ===== Select this if you want to play the story mode of the game. You can play with a two-player, making this game easier and all the more entertaining. B) Options ======= Here you can change the difficulty of the game, changing the number of continues, music, sound, and voice audio settings. C) Chibi-Usa ========= Selecting this will permit you to play the story mode as Chibi-Usa. Playing the game as her is very easy since her height is pretty small, almost all enemies will not be able to hit her. But if you do play as her, you'll get a different ending once you have completed story mode. D) Battle ====== Here you can go all out against your friend in a street fighter-styled match. In other words, this is the Vs. mode where you and your friend pick a Sailor Scout/Senshi and face off against one another. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ IX. Walkthrough ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ -NOTE-: Incase if you're wondering if this is a Chibi-Usa walkthrough as well it technically is even though I won't be mentioning her, as this was played in 1 Player Story Mode. Just remember that you will get a different ending of the game if you beat it as Chibi-Usa. -NOTE 2-: If you play the story in Easy mode, then you can only complete 2 levels. After that, the game will be over and it will prompt you to try the latter modes - Normal or Hard. This guide is based off from the Normal difficulty. Choose your character and let's get on with it! I will give you the play-by-play as you follow the walkthrough. =================== Stage 1 T.A. Girls' Academy Culture Festival =================== ------ |Area 1| ------ In the beginning of the stage, two goons will approach and try to attack you. It's easy to beat them. Just use your punch attacks, jump kicks, or use your grab move. Remember to save your special attacks, as you start out with only 2. After clearing out the 2 goons, move on. You'll see a table nearby. Destroy it and you'll find a jewellery. Pick it up by pressing the punch button. Two goons will appear, so take them out the same way you did the previous set. After taking out the first 2, 2 more will appear. Take them out and another 2 will appear. Take them out as well, then move on. 2 handstand-loving goons will appear. They can be irritating sometimes, but take them out using punches, jump kicks, etc. After killing both of them, two more goons will attack you. Take them out and 2 female goons will appear. They can be irritating too, but deal with them the same way you did the handstand goons. After killing them both, 2 goons will appear for you to defeat. Move on after killing em' both. You'll see a restoration item on the ground. Press punch to pick it up to replenish some of your health, then keep moving. 2 goons and one female goon will appear. You know how to take them out, so do that. After taking out one of them, a dark-blue female goon will appear. Watch out for this one, as she can flamethrower your character which does lots of damage. Deal with her like you've been dealing with the other goons so far. After taking out another goon, a new goon will appear. Beat these last 3 goons, then move on. You'll see a restoration item on the ground, but don't pick it up yet until you have cleared out the goons. Two handstand goons and that dark blue female goon will appear. After beating both the handstand goons, another goon will appear. Take out the dark blue goon and the other goon. Yet another goon will appear. Defeat this one, then quickly grab the restoration item before the scene switches over to the next area. ------ |Area 2| ------ Move on and you'll encounter 2 goons. Take them both out and 2 more goons will appear. Defeat these 2 goons, then move on. You'll see a lollypop on the ground. Pick it up to replenish some health. Two goons will appear. Watch out for their dashing punches because if you stay near them, they'll use it. Take them both out using anything except for your special attack, then move on. Two spinning-bladed goons will appear. Watch out for their spinning attacks, as they can hurt you. Take them out like you did the other goons so far, then move on. You'll encounter 3 goons and also find a table. Use your punches to destroy the table and collect the ice cream cone for health. Now take out the 3 goons then move on. You'll be surrounded by 4 goons this time, but they are not hard to defeat. Pick them off using punches, jump kicks, grabs, and whatnot, then move on. You'll find a fried chicken item here which restores a lot of health, so pick it up if you're low on energy. Two goons will also appear so take them both out, and one spinning-blade goon along with another goon will appear. Defeat both and another spinning-blade goon, with another goon will appear. Do what you did before and take them out. Upon doing so, the scene switches over. ------ |Area 3| ------ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- BOSS FIGHT: Esmeraude/Emerald +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Being the first boss in this game, Esmeraude is pretty easy. She has 3 level health bars - blue, green, and yellow. Go up to Esmeraude and use grab move on her, utilize your jump kicks and your punch attacks. She does a flurry of kicks for an attack, so watch out for that. After you damage her significantly, Esmeraude will move to the sides temporarily and you'll be ambushed by 2 goons. Ignore the goons and wait for Esmeraude to get back into the fray. Damage her again until she moves to the sides. Wait for her to come back out again then keep hitting her, while ignoring the enemies. If she hides again, avoid the enemies and wait for her to come out. When she does, finish her off using your attacks and you'll have beaten one of the four Black Moon UFO leaders! Level complete. Tuxedo Mask: "Never give up no matter how bad the situation is. Until we meet again..." After beating the level, Chibi-Usa will grade your character. Depending on how long it took for you to beat the level, how much damage taken, and how well you fought against the boss, you'll be given a letter grade from A to F. With A being excellent, whilst F being a utter failure. It's easy to get an A after beating the level, but getting a B is not bad either. ------------------- Stage 2 Fantasy Attraction ------------------- ------ |Area 1| ------ Move forward and you will find a bow on the ground. Pick it up to get an extra special attack. 2 handstand goons will appear so take them both out. After taking them out, 2 fat goons will appear. Watch out for their rolling attacks, as it can hurt you quite a bit. Take them out using punches, jump kicks, etc. After beating them both, move on. 2 handstand goons and one fat goon will appear. You'll also find a fruit on the ground, so pick it up to replenish some health. Make sure you get out of the way when the fat goons rolls over at you, then attack him. Take out the 2 handstand goons first. After defeating both, 2 more handstand goons will appear so take them out. Now take care of the fat goon, then move on. 2 handstand goons and one fat goon will appear again. Take out the handstand goons first and 2 more will appear after that. Take them out like before, then deal with the fat goon. When you're done, move on. You'll find a rose on the ground. Pick it up to fully restore your health and for an extra Life. Now you'll confront a fat goon that slides on the ground right at you. Avoid his slides by flip jumping or move away. A handstand goon will also appear. Take out the fat goon first. Watch out for his body slam as he likes to use it a lot. After taking out the fatso, a female goon will appear. Take out the handstand goon and another female goon will show up. Take out both the female goons, then move on. Behind the grassy leaves lies almost a hidden item on the ground, but you should be able to see it. Pick it up to get a 1UP. 2 handstand goons are here, so take them both out. A female goon with the attack to burn your character will appear and also a sliding fat goon. Take out the fat goon first and another flaming female goon will appear. Take out one of them and another sliding fat goon will show up. Defeat them both and the same 2 enemies will show up again. Defeat them again, then the scene will switch over. ------ |Area 2| ------ Go forward and hop on the raft. 2 spinning-blade goons and one handstand goon will appear. Take all 3 of them out, then move a bit forward and the raft will start moving. The enemies are now much easier to defeat here since the water will kill them. Just go near the edge of the raft and throw the enemies into the water using your grab attack. But make sure you don't fall into the water yourself, otherwise you'll lose health. 2 spinning-blade goons will appear, so just throw them off the raft to kill them. 2 handstand goons will appear afterwards, so throw them off the raft like you did the spinning-blade goons. 2 spinning-blade goons will appear, so throw them off. 2 more spinning-blade goons show up just for you to throw them off the raft again. 2 handstand goons will appear so throw them off, or jump kick them into the water. 2 spinning-blade goons appear again, so throw them off. 2 handstand goons appear and you know what to do. 2 spinning-blade goons appear so throw them off. 2 handstand goons appear again, so repeat the process. 2 spinning-blade goons show up, so throw them off or use jump kicks. 2 more blade goons appear, so repeat your tactics again and again. 2 handstand goons appear so force them off the raft. 2 spinning-blade goons appear, so force them off the raft like you did before. 2 more spinning-blade goons appear for you to throw overboard. 2 handstand goons appear for you to throw off next. And finally, 2 spinning-blade goons will show up so force them off the raft. The raft will finally stop, so get off of it and move on. You'll see a rose on the ground, so pick it up to fully replenish your health. 3 handstand goons will show up, so kill them all. Watch out for the red one, as it can burn your character in flames. Move on and you'll face off against Sapphire. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- BOSS FIGHT: Sapphire +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- He has 3 level health bars - full blue, green, and yellow. Sapphire is not so hard. Watch out for his flurry of punches, as they can really hurt you and whittle your health. If you try to jump kick him Sapphire will counter your jump kick with his flip kick, although he doesn't do that often. Just stay away from him and wait for the moment to attack. Punches and grabs are the most effective against him. Don't your use favourite attack though, as Sapphire could jump out of the way and strike you before you get the chance to launch it. Avoid using your special attack unless if you're low on health. Sapphire could also grab and toss you to the ground, which hurts quite a bit. Defeat him and you'll have defeated the second Black Moon UFO leader! Level complete. Tuxedo Mask: "Today's victory belongs to you, *insert character here*" After beating the level, Chibi-Usa will grade your character. I got a B. I hope you got the same letter grade as me. If not, then an A =/ ------------------- Stage 3 Crystal Tokyo ------------------- ------ |Area 1| ------ At the start of the stage, 4 goons will surround you. Take out one of them using your punches, jump kicks, grab attack, etc. They have higher health this time though, so be careful. If you're too close to them, they'll do a grab attack on you. After killing one, another will appear. Take out all four of them, without getting yourself cornered, then move on. 2 fat goons will appear and they'll constantly use their roll attacks on you, so either jump out of the way or move inorder to avoid them. Defeat the fatsos using jump kicks, grabs, or punches. After defeating them both, the floor you are on will break down and you'll be at the ground level. Move on and you'll see a store called "Coffee Noah". Watch out! Two red goons will try to ambush you using double voltage, which really REALLY hurts. Move away immediately before they hit you. Take them out, but be very careful. These red goons can not only electrify your character, but also they can put your character on fire! When one or maybe both of them jump at you, avoid them quickly because they'll do their voltage attack. When you're done killing both, move on. You'll encounter 3 goons, so take them out. Be sure to watch out for the green one, as he can do the annoying grab attack on you. When you defeat one of them, another goon will appear. When you take out another goon, another green goon will appear. After defeating another goon, one more will appear. Defeat another one of them and a fat rolling goon will appear. This might be tricky, as you have to dodge the fatso's rolls as well as defeating the remaining goons. Take out one of the 3 goons and another fatso will appear afterwards. Defeat one of the fatsos first. Remember to move away from their rolls and use jump kicks, grabs to defeat them. After taking out one of them, defeat the other goon, and finally defeat the last fat goon. Move on after beating them. Watch out for the two red goons, as they'll appear out of a store door to electricute you. Defeat both of them, while avoiding their flamethrower and voltage attacks. When you're done, move on. 2 rolling fatsos will appear. If you're low in health at this point, use your special attack. If not, then avoid their rolls by moving away or use jump kicks to stop them. While you're damaging the other 2, 2 more rolling fatso will apear. Argh.. now things will get tough. You'll have to keep on using your jump kicks inorder to kill them because trying to move away from their rolls is pointless, since they're manipulating you. I EXTREMELY recommend using your special attack here because the fatsos are SO annoying. If you want to beat them farily, then good luck. But end the battle quickly using your special attack, if you have any. After defeating all 4, the scene will switch. ------ |Area 2| ------ Move on and you'll encounter 2 goons and one red plasma goon. The plasma goon is very annoying, as it sinks to the ground most of the time before you get a chance to hit it. Take out the 2 goons first. Another plasma goon and one more goon will appear. Take out the goon first and another one *might* appear. If not, then concentrate on the 2 plasma goons now. Use jump kicks or quickly go near them and use a grab attack before they sink to the ground. When you're done, move on. You'll see a jewellery on the ground, so pick it up. 2 yellow plasma goons and one spinning-blade goon will appear. Watch out for their grab attacks because they hurt. Fighting in this area is hard because there are 2 pillars that are partly blocking the screen, which gives the enemies an advantage while you have to guess where they are standing. If you have any special attacks left, use it now. If not, then keep walking around and wait for the goons to appear. The only strategy I can think of inorder to beat these 3 goons is to constantly use the jump kick. It may take awhile, but it will all be worth it once you've defeated all 3 goons. Move on after you're done. You'll see a dark crystal on the ground, along with 2 goons. Break open the crystal and pick up the item, which will give you an extra 1UP. Now take out the 2 goons. Be sure to watch out for their rushing punches. 2 spinning-blade goons will appear next, so make sure to avoid their spin blades and attack at the right moment. Use your jump kick to stop their spinning attack. After defeating them, 2 goons will appear. Again, watch out for their rushing punches and defeat them the way you did the others. After beating both, 2 yellow plasma goons will appear. Use your jump kicks or punches to defeat them. Don't grab them, because there's a good chance that they could grab you before you do them. After the long gruelling process of jump kicking the plasmas, this was my status at this point: http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/2880/image6mm.png Yeah, I ran out of special attacks so I spent over 10 mins trying to kill them the hard way >< Anyways when you've defeated the 2 plasmas, move on. You'll see a dark crystal on the ground, so break it open to find a pastry that will fully restore your health. Keep moving and you'll encounter 3 spinning-blade goons. Ugh.. not the annoying pillars again.. Use your jump kicks to stop their spins, perform grab attacks, or punches to defeat them. After beating the 3 spinners, 3 goons will appear. They all know rushing punches so watch out. Defeat them the same way you did the spinners. You could try out the favourite attack, as it's very useful against these guys. But make sure you launch it quickly before they use their rush punches to stop you. After beating them, move on. You'll find a restoration item on the ground, so pick it up to replenish some of your health. 3 spinning-blade goons will appear so defeat them like you have been doing so far. After beating them, 2 rush-punching goons and a spinning-blade goon will appear. Take them all out like you did before. 2 goons and another spinning goon will appear, so repeat the process, making sure to watch out for the rush punches and spin attack. After beating them, 3 spinning-blade goons appear once more so defeat them like you did before. Once you're done, then scene will switch over. ------ |Area 3| ------ You'll see Rubius hovering around but you can't fight him yet until you have defeated the plasma goons. 2 yellow plasmas appear, so defeat them the same way you did last time. After doing so, a silver plasma goon will appear. Defeat it the same way you did the yellow plasmas. After defeating it, Rubeus will step in. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- BOSS FIGHT: Rubeus +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- This is hard. Not only you have to worry about Rubeus, but also the threat of the plasma goons. Try to ignore all the plasmas and concentrate on Rubeus. He, just like Sapphire, does flurry of punches. He also has a nasty spiral punch attack, which really hurts. Use your punches, grab attacks, jump kicks to defeat him. But this is easier said than done because the annoying plasmas will get in your way and damage you significantly. Do the best you can to avoid them. Stay away from Rubeus until you find the right moment to attack. Rubeus fires a projectile at you, so avoid it. He also does rush attacks, so avoid that too. Like the other 2 bosses, Rubeus has 3 health bars - blue, green, yellow. Keep trying your best, even if you lose a life, until you defeat him. I struggled a LOT when facing this boss battle, but I barely managed to win eventually with 5 lives left. You can too, if you stay focused. Once you've beaten him, congrats because you just defeated the third Black Moon UFO leader! Level complete. Tuxedo Mask: "(Sailor Moon)'s elegant technique looks like white birds in the great sky. Keep trying (Sailor Moon)". You will now be graded by Chibi-Usa. Honestly, it's really hard to get atleast a C after this level. I actually failed by getting a D! *cries* If you got a higher grade than I did, then good job my friend :) ------------------- Stage 4 Planet Nemesis ------------------- ------ |Area 1| ------ Go forward and 3 goons will appear. They're not hard to beat, so take them out simply using punches, grabs, or jump kicks. Watch out for THEIR grab attack by the way. After defeating the 3, move on. You'll find a restoration item on the ground, so pick it up if you need some health. 3 handstand goons will appear so take them out like you did the other handstand goons before. All of them breathe fire so watch out. When you're done, move on. You'll encounter 2 goons that know the irritating grab attack and a fat goon that will try to body slam you. Take out the fat goon first since he is the most annoying. After doing so, another goon will appear. Take out one of the 3 goons, making sure not to get cornered. Another goon will appear afterwards, so take out another one of the grab attacking goons. Afterwards a fat, bodyslamming goon will appear so take him out first. Another goon will appear, so now take out the 3 remaining goons then move on. You'll encounter 2 fat rolling goons, who are very irritating. Take them out like you did before, using jump kicks, or moving away from their rolls then quickly use your punch or grab attacks. After taking out one of the fat goons, a fat bodyslamming goon will appear. Take him out first. After taking him out, another fat bodyslamming goon will appear. Once again, make him your top priority. Afterwards, a fat rolling goon will appear. Take out one of them and yet another fat rolling goon will appear. Now take out the remaining fat goons. If you're low on health at this point, use your special attack. Once you've defeated them, move on. You'll see a restoration item on the ground, so pick it up to replenish some health. Keep moving forward and you'll encounter 2 handstand goons. Defeat them like before. Afterwards, 2 grab attacking goons will appear. Defeat them like you did before, making sure not to get too close to them. You can try using the favourite attack, as it seems to hit them most of the times since they move pretty slowly. After defeating both, 2 handstand goons will appear so beat them like before, making sure to watch out for their breathing flames. Afterwards, 2 fat bodyslamming goons will appear. Urgh they're so annoying.. Defeat them like before, using jump kicks most of the times to counter their slams. After defeating them, move on. Now comes the VERY hard part, defeating 4 fat rolling goons. Argh.. I hope you still have some special attack remaining because if not, then you're going to have a very, very hard time defeating these fatsos. You'll have to constantly use jump kicks and grab attacks to beat all 4, but even that's very difficult. If you do have a special attack remaining, then use it now to kill all 4. After beating them, the scene will switch over. ------ |Area 2| ------ You'll see Prince Demando, who is floating in the air. But you can't fight him just yet, until you have defeated the 2 voltage goons. Quickly move out of the way when they jump up in the air, because they'll try to shock you which REALLY hurts your health. If you keep moving to the right, you'll see Tuxedo Mask's red rose. Pick it up to restore your health fully. After beating the first 2, another pair will appear. Defeat them like before, making sure to watch out for their electric and flame attack. After defeating them, Prince Demando will step in. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- BOSS FIGHT: Prince Demando/Diamond +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- This is it, the final boss. Like the other 3 bosses, Demando has 3 level health bars - blue, green, and yellow. Not only do you have to worry about him, but also 2 of those voltage goons. Do your best to ignore those goons and focus on Demando. Wait for the right moment to attack him. Use grabs, jump kicks, punches, etc. If you have any special attack remaining, use it now to damage Demando significantly. Demando fires a projectile at you, but it's not hard to avoid it. Either jump or move away. But if you get hit by it, your health will be down by 30%! Demando does punch combos, which hurt quite a bit. He also does a tornado-styled punch attack, so use a jump attack to counter it. Demando sure loves to jump a lot and most of him jumps can damage you. Just stay focused and aim all attacks on Demando. It's a hard battle, but you WILL win it eventually. Good luck! http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/7446/image2yi.png <== My status after defeating him. With very littlehealth left, but also a couple of lives to spare =D Well anyways, congratulations because you have not only defeated all 4 Black Moon UFO leaders, but also the game! Level complete. Tuxedo Mask: "An honorable victory is beyond the beauty of that of any jewel. Farewell (Sailor Moon)". You'll be graded by Chibi-Usa again. Once again I got a D, which really sucks, but hey atleast the game is beaten! If you got the same letter grade as me or higher, then cool =/ Now watch the ending, which I won't spoil for you. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ X. Boss strategies ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ There are four bosses in this game, and thus the game having four levels only. The following bosses are: 1) Esmeraude/Emerald ----------------- Being the first boss in this game, Esmeraude is pretty easy. 2) Sapphire -------- He has 3 level health bars - full blue, green, and yellow. 3) Rubius/Rubeus ------------- This is hard. 4) Prince Demando/Diamond ---------------------- This is it, the final boss. Good luck! ~*~*~*~*~*~ XI. I was born in Bangladesh on June 25,1988, but moved to Canada in 1996. I have no siblings and am proud of it! But enough about my lifestory, as that could go on forever and ever =P I've been a big fan of Sailor Moon since 1997, and still am. I think the first episode I ever watched that made me a fan was, in the dub version, the one where Nephlite died while protecting Molly from Zoycite's three stooges. It was sad in the original Japanese version, but even sadder in the dub in my opinion. One of the best episodes of Sailor Moon overall. I'm also a big DBZ fan, although I do not have all of the DVD collection (yet). At the time of writing this guide, I used to be a Pokemon episode guide writer at PDU (www.pdunited.co.uk) and also a publisher for the guide "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story", which can be found here at GameFaqs. I might be a future contributor of other stuff for GameFaqs, but won't list those on this document. Click on my username when you hit the "Backspace" button if you want to see my other guides. I'm pretty anti-social. My habits are doing homework, watching tv, working out, playing video games, and surfing the net.
