Tips and Tricks ----------------------------------------------------------------------- In the honey comb levels, you can walk through the sticky honey without jumping. Use the tag team method so that Diddy or Dixie is on one or the other's shoulders. Once you've done this, walk through the honey without sticking to the honey. You can jump even longer than normal to cross large gaps using diddy or dixie. With diddy cartweel off the edge the jump to get added lenth to your jumps. With Dixie, spin off the edge, jump the helicopter spin again, with this move you can travel even LONGER than diddy and can control where you land much better. If you find a single bannana in the air, collect it, if nothing happens, try your team throw near it, this usally is a hint of a nearby bonus. Also follow any bannana arrows, lines, etc. If there are some things you cannot reach at the beginning of the level, come back once you have both characters and try your team throw. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 8. Game Codes ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -Music Test- Start a new game file. On the Player Select screen, highlight the Two Player Contest option, then press Down on the Control Pad five times. An option labeled "Music Test" will appear. Press Left or Right on the Control Pad to scroll through the different tracks. There are around 30 Soundtracks to listen to. -Cheat Code Entry- Start a new game file. On the Player Select screen, press Down repeatedly, past Music Test, until Cheat Mode appears. If you want a bit more challenge, highlight "Cheat Mode" and press B, A, Right, Right, A, Left, A and X ("BARRALAX") to remove all of the DK Barrels in the game. Press Y, A, Select, A, Down, Left, A and Down ("YASADLAD") to start the game with 50 lives. If you enter both codes, you'll remove all DK Barrels and start with 50 lives. When you begin a new stage (except for boss stages) or return from a Bonus Area, you'll have both Diddy and Dixie, even if you lost one of them previously. -All 75 Kremkoins- Follow these steps to get every single Kremkoin in the game! 1. In Pirate Panic, go into K.Rool's cabin (don't collect the balloon) and then leave. 2. Jump over the first two bananas, then collect the next bunch on top of the barrels. Still avoiding the first pair of bananas, return to the cabin and grab the balloon. 3. Jump over the first two bananas, then collect the next bunch on top of the barrels. Still avoiding the first pair of bananas, return to the cabin and grab the balloon. 4. Return to the cabin, still avoiding the first two bananas. You'll see a floating Kremcoin in the air. Grab it to automatically collect all 75 Kremkoins. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 9. Walkthrough ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- /-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\GANGPLANK GALLEON/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________ |Level One: Pirate Panic| |_______________________| General Advice: --------------- If you really need help with this level, that's pretty sad. This is a very simple level, not too many enimies, not too hard at all. If you have any problems stop playing, it will save you many hours of frustration. But if you really want some general advice for this level, then well...let's see. Oh yes, there is a barrel at the start of the level, you need to use your team throw to reach it, also you can perform the Kremkoin trick here...check up above in the secrets section for info on how to do that... Bonus Levels: ------------- #1: Just after the halfway barrel, there will be a hole in the floor, fall down it, and go to the right to enter a bonus barrel! Type: Find Time: 20 Seconds This is easy...you have to seconds to jump on 4-5 barrels. Just jump from barrel to barrel and you will find the coin at the top. #2: Shortly after you get Rambi, you will find an arrow of bannanas pointing toards a large wall. Use rambi's charge attack to break down the wall and enter the second bonus stage! Type: Destroy Time: 20 Also very easy..just ram everyone with Rambi's Horn. At the end the coin will appear. DK Hero Coin: Easy level...easy DK Coin...just after you exit the second bonus stage, there will be two barrels in front of you, jump up them, then off them to get your first DK Coin! Other Notes: ------------ There's a bannana coin in bonus level #1...just run to the right instead of jumping on the barrels, if you have any skill at all you can get both the bannana coin and the kremkoin before time runs out. ___________________________ |Level Two: Mainbrace Mayhem| |___________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ _____________________________ |Level Three: Gangplank Galley| |_____________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ____________________________ |Level Four: Lockjaw's Locker| |____________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ___________________________ |Level Five: Topsail Trouble| |___________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ____________________ |World One Boss: Krow| |____________________| Strategy: --------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\Crocodile Cauldron/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\| ----------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________ |Level One: Hot-Head Hop| |_______________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ _________________________ |Level Two: Kannon's Klaim| |_________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ________________________ |Level Three: Lava Lagoon| |________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ________________________ |Level Four: Red Hot Ride| |________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ __________________________ |Level Five: Squawk's Shaft| |__________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ _______________________ |World Two Boss: Kleaver| |_______________________| Strategy: --------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\Krem Quay/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\| ----------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________ |Level One: Barrel Bayou| |_______________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ____________________________ |Level Two: Glimmer's Galleon| |____________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ______________________________ |Level Three: KrockHead Klamber| |______________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ _________________________ |Level Four: Rattle Battle| |_________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ _______________________ |Level Five: Slime Climb| |_______________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ________________________ |Level Six: Bramble Blast| |________________________| General Advice: --------------- Bonus Levels: ------------- Other Notes: ------------ ________________________ |World Three Boss: Kudgel| |________________________| Strategy: --------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- /-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\Krazy Kremland/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\Gloomy Gulch/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\| ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- /-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\K.
