Been playing the Dead or Alive series since the import release on the Sega Saturn. Love DoA2, love DoA3, although I find both of them to be a wee bit unbalanced, but hey... just about every fighting game is anyways :) This FAQ is for all you North American gamers out there who are interested to see all of the new moves that were added to the PAL and JPN versions of Dead or Alive 3. All of you European DoA3 players, do yourself a favour and pick up Future Press' excellent Dead or Alive 3 official strategy guide. No, I'm not saying that because I helped write it (well, partly because of that heh), but it really is a great guide, something I'm very proud of putting my name on. You'll find it very useful when you try to learn the basics of the game. North American gamers... sorry, unless you have relatives living in Europe, I guess you're just stuck with Prima's guide. God feels for you people :) **************************************************************************************** =================================== CONVENTIONS ======================================== **************************************************************************************** 1P side: u/b u u/f b N f d/b d d/f P - Punch K - Kick S - Hold + - Press Inputs Simultaneously QCB - Quarter Circle Back (d, d/b, b) QCF - Quarter Circle Forward (d, d/f, f) HCB - Half Circle Back (f, d/f, d, d/b, b) HCF - Half Circle Forward (b, d/b, d, d/f, f) H - High M - Medium L - Low HT - High Throw LT - Low Throw HCT - High Combo Throw LCT - Low Combo Throw HTT - High Tag Throw HHT - High Hit Throw (specific attack listed must hit before throw executes) · - Combo Hit/Throw;
