When it is low, the amount of damage you give an opponent will be slight even when you hit them, and when you hit opponents with the Sword Gauge at MAX, you can exact extensive damage with a single blow. The Sword Gauge falls when attacks hit or miss, and subsequently rises as time passes. [THE RAGE GAUGE] The Rage Gauge rises as you take damage from attacks. When it hits MAX, you can use Knocking-on-the-Sword moves and try to turn things around with a single blow. [RAGE EXPLOSIONS] Activating the "Rage Explosion" enables the use of invincible attacks that knock back enemy attacks even as you take damage and the Sword Gauge shoots up to MAX. This lets you use Knocking-on-the-Sword Methods of Mayhem to get out of tight spots. [CONCENTRATION ONE] "Concentration One" can be activated when the Life Energy Gauge flashes blue and lets you anticipate your opponent's moves to aim for a one-blow turnaround. The Rage Gauge disappears when you use either the "Rage Explosion" or " Concentration One."
