Yes, I know. This is the most useless FAQ ever devised... but hey, when I 
wanted to know the coolest colors to choose, I had no place to turn, so I 
figured I might as well compile a list. I'm sure sometime during the next 10
rereleases of this game somebody will want to find a custom costume of an Alex
with a bandana matching their favorite Ninja Turtle or something dumb.

I’ve marked off the costumes I find notable. I’m pretty sure the things people
are most interested in are finding a character who’s been painted to look
like a different race, or versions of Ken wearing Ryu’s colors and such. 
Also, there can be some strategy in choosing colors, most notably, choosing a 
color that resembles that of your opponent. I’ll mark those off too.


STREET FIGHTER 3
-----------------------------

-If two players pick the same costume, the person who picked last will be 
given the other costume of equal strength. For example, if both players pick 
the medium punch costume, the second player will get the medium kick. If both 
players big the Start + Medium punch costume, the second will get 
Start + Medium kick. If both players pick costume 13, the second player will 
get costume 1.

-The "codes" on GameFAQs are wrong. There are no 14th and 15th costumes. 
However, you can use the method to select a costume. If you do, you will 
get costume 12.

HYPER STREET FIGHTER II

-Normal mode only has the default color. Two people can't play the same 
 character.

-You can't play as the same character with the same color, even if they're 
 from different games, even Super Turbo, who's color #3 overlaps with 
 Champ Costume #2 and #5 who overlaps with Turbo #1.

-If both players choose the same color in Super Turbo, the second player will 
 be given the color of the next harder punch or kick button.
