In case you're wondering lun stand for my name [Lunion]. =============================================================================== 1. Introduction lun1 =============================================================================== Hi! My name is Lunion and I make this Maximum Character Stats FAQ to complete my series of Sudeki FAQ. Enjoy it! ^-^/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.1 The Purpose of This FAQ lun11 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This FAQ gives you a total explanation of character growth rate, how to spend your advancement point wisely, what skills are most useful to the character, as well as using orbs to maximise stats. In short, this FAQ will show you how to ultimately build your character stats and make the most of it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.2 Overview of The FAQ lun12 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This FAQ is intended to help you build your character stats effectively. What is listed here is the best way to manage your character. You can build your character any way you like, and you're welcome to try it. If you happen to follow the strategy listed in this guide, you'll end up with all-round out character at the end of the game. Which, by the way, is considered to be the best way of making up your party. Anyway, have fun with your character development! =============================================================================== 2. How Do I Level Up? lun2 =============================================================================== In Sudeki, you level up by spending advancement points into the empty slots. Every time you level up, you'll get 1 or more advancement points to spend on your character slots. There're HP, SP, power, and essence slots. There's also skill slots, which will grant you new skills should you decide to spend advancement point on them. This guide will help you make the most of those advancements points. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1 What Are Orbs? lun21 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Orbs are magical items that, when you use them, will raise one of your stats, depending on what kind of orbs you used. This guide here will also tell you how to use your orbs wisely, as there're plenty of them (a total of 40), and they can be a real boost for weak characters. For information on the locations of orbs, check out my Orbs Locations FAQ (also posted on GameFAQs). =============================================================================== 3. Characters Initial Status lun3 =============================================================================== The stats listed below is the initial stats of your characters. It doesn't mean the stats of your characters when you first found them. It's the stats of your character when you DON'T HAVE ANY advancement points allocated to them. >> Tal --------------------------- HP 500 SP 20 Power 10 Essence 5 >> Ailish --------------------------- HP 300 SP 40 Power 7 Essence 10 >> Buki --------------------------- HP 400 SP 25 Power 10 Essence 6 >> Elco --------------------------- HP 350 SP 50 Power 8 Essence 5 * When you first found them, your characters will have some advancement points already spent on them. This depends on what level you meet them. Their levels will always be the same as your main character (Tal) level when you first meet them. It's a good idea to meet them on earlier level, so you can spend those advancement points yourself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.1 Characters Growth Rate lun31 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When you decide to spend an advancement point in one of your stats' slots, your stats will go up. The catch is, your stats growth rate is not equal. Some party members add more HP when leveled up, while some add more SP when leveled up. This list below shows you the growth rate of each character stats. >> Tal -------------------------------------- HP +500 SP +20 Power +10 Essence +5 >> Ailish -------------------------------------- HP +300 SP +40 Power +7 Essence +10 >> Buki -------------------------------------- HP +400 SP +25 Power +10 Essence +6 >> Elco -------------------------------------- HP +350 SP +50 Power +7 Essence +5 * You'll notice that the character growth rate is the same as their initial stats. This simply means that if that character has a high HP, than he will always have the highest HP when all stats are maxed out, and vice versa. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.2 Maxed Out Characters Stats lun32 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can't rise one stats continuously. There's only 10 slots for each stats, and if you have fill them out, you'll not be able to upgrade them any further. They are MAXED OUT. You should get the idea now. Concerning characters' growth rate and their initial stats, we can determine the maxed out stats of each character. Here is a list of those maxed out stats: >> Tal ---------------------------------- HP 5500 SP 220 Power 110 Essence 55 >> Ailish ---------------------------------- HP 3300 SP 440 Power 77 Essence 110 >> Buki ---------------------------------- HP 4400 SP 275 Power 110 Essence 66 >> Elco ---------------------------------- HP 3850 SP 550 Power 77 Essence 55 * Now you can see which character will have the lowest HP, SP, Power, and Essence when they're maxed out. Keep this in mind as this is the very purpose of this FAQ. To help those in needs. =============================================================================== 4. Spending Your Orbs Wisely lun4 =============================================================================== So how do we help those in needs? I want to help. Tell me how. Okay, okay. We can use the orbs we find along our journey to power up those weak characters. And personally, I think that's the very reason of orbs existence. There're a total of 40 orbs in the game. They range from Orb of Vigor (which add your HP), to anything like Orb of Power (which increase your power). This is the list of the kind of orbs we can get in the game: Orbs of Vigor (HP +100) = 10 Orbs of Might (SP +20) = 11 Orbs of Wisdom (Essence +10) = 8 Orbs of Power (Power +10) = 8 Orbs of Sanctuary (HP +250) = 3 From that list, we know that we'll be able to get an additional: - 1750 HP - 220 SP - 80 Essence - 80 Power That's a lot of help for our weak characters. Now, it's obvious that it is our job to divide those bonus fair and square for our weak characters. I'll let you figure it out yourself, but here's some pointer: >> Orbs of Vigor and Sanctuary ---------------------------------------- Use on Ailish and Elco only, with Ailish getting the bigger share of it. >> Orbs of Might ---------------------------------------- Spend primarily on Tal. You can give some to Buki, although she doesn't really need it because of her low-cost skills. Besides, Tal is going to face the final boss alone, so Tal will make the most of those orbs. I recommend a 7:3 for Tal. >> Orbs of Wisdom ---------------------------------------- Use sparingly on Buki and heavily on Tal. For the same reason as above. I recommend a 6:2 for Tal. >> Orbs of Power ---------------------------------------- Use 4 on Ailish and 4 on Elco. That should do the trick. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.1 Other Methods of Spending Orbs lun41 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Besides the forementioned methods, you can try this if you're brave enough to take the risk. All For One --------------------------------- Use every orbs on Tal. He will face the final boss alone, so it's maybe a good idea to build him up considerably. Just ignore everyone. This is very risky since your party will be fairly weak, but it does pay off in the final battle. Specialty Boost --------------------------------- Use orbs to empower your already strong party members. Boost their strenghts and ignore their weakness. Make an already strong character stronger and vice versa. For example, use Orbs of Vigor for Tal and such. This strategy will result in an extreme party. Both extremely strong and extremely weak. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.2 Things You Just Don't Do With Orbs lun42 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Keep them > Use all of them on Ailish, Buki, or Elco > Use them on "temporary" party members in the later part of the game =============================================================================== 5. Utmost Important Skills lun5 =============================================================================== Below is a list of most important and useful skills that you should learn as soon as possible, or learn them first before you learn the other skills. Tal ------------------------------- > Iron Warrior = cast protect on all allies > Blade Dance = very useful on surrounding enemies or the final boss Ailish ------------------------------- > Gaze of The Wind = cast haste on all allies > Shadow Nexus = revives all party members Buki ------------------------------- > Path of The Warrior = very useful on any enemies Elco ------------------------------- > Nano-Enchancement = cast boost on all allies, super useful > Tesla Shield = reverse any bad status effects, very useful =============================================================================== 6. Maximum Velocity lun6 =============================================================================== Although theoretically you can maxed out every party members, technically you can't. This is because you'll be about level 25 by the end of the game. This mean you can't fill every stats slots, even if you want to. Well, of course, if you're willing to waste your time leveling up, it would be a different story. But let us be realistic. Most people beat the game below level 30, and I'm sure that will be your case. Below is the very important list that will tell you what to achieve first, from the most important to the less, from the beginning to the end of the game, on how should you spend your precious advancement points. This is the main idea of the whole FAQ, so be sure to read it carefully. Just like the title of this section, you'll level up very fast at the beginning of the game, so we're going to make the most of that velocity. How to use this list? -You should try to achieve the list step by step, from the start to the finish. Spend your advancement points so they achieve: Tal ----------------------- > 1000 HP > 30 Power > 2000 HP > 50 Power > Iron Warrior Skill > 60 Power > 3000 HP > 70 Power > Blade Dance Skill > 4000 HP > Maxed out your Power > Maxed out your HP * Tal is the strong tank of the team. The most vital stats for him are HP and Power, so try to maxed them out first. Along the way you should pick up Iron Warrior as early as possible. Near the end of the game, pick up Blade Dance. After that maxed out HP and Power if you haven't do so. Ignore the other stats. Instead, use a lot of orbs that raise SP and Essence for Tal. Ailish ---------------------- > 80 SP > 21 Power > 900 HP > 35 Power > 30 Essence > 1500 HP > 49 Power > 50 Essence > Gaze of The Wind Skill > 120 SP > Shadow Nexus > Maxed out your Power > Maxed out your Essence * Ailish must have adequate SP to cast her magic, so give her some, but not too many. Remember the velocity rules, she won't need so many SP at the beginning of the game, so we better make another use for it. Raise her Power first so she can give some damage in battle. You don't have to think much about HP cause she won't need much of it (as she is hard to get hit in battle), beside that, we will be using Orbs of Vigor to raise her HP, so don't worry about it. In short, maxed out her Power and Essence, give enough HP and SP. And give her some Orbs of Power. Buki ----------------------- > 30 Power > 2000 HP > 50 Power > 2400 HP > 60 Power > 2800 HP > Path of The Warrior Skill > maxed out power > maxed out HP * Just like Tal, you really don't have to worry about Buki's SP and Essence. She won't need and won't be needing much of it. Just try to maxed out Buki's power and HP, so she becomes deadly in battle. If you feel her SP and Essence inadequate, give her some orbs. Elco ------------------------ > 21 Power > 150 SP > Nano-Enchancement Skill > 49 Power > 1400 HP > Tesla Shield Skill > Maxed out Power > Maxed out HP * Elco is a very special character. He has some great supporting skills which is not affected by Essence. Just give him adequate SP to cast a few Nano Enchancement and you're set. Forget about his SP. Raise his power everytime you can. He won't need much HP as he is rarely hit in battle. Get Tesla Shield when you can't raise his power. Other than that, try to maxed out his power as soon as you can. If you feel his HP inadequate, give him some orbs. Don't forget to give him some Orbs of Power too. And, yes. You guess right. Forget about raising his essence. They're useless. =============================================================================== 7.
