Nationality: Unknown (assumed to be Japanese) Height: 183 cm Weight: 65 kg Likes: None (although he seems to like fighting) Favorite Food: Beef Jerky Favorite Sport: None (hates to exercise) Important Things: None Hated Things: KOF as a whole, sweets [Gameplay Explanation] K' is kind of a "fireball-uppercut" character, made famous by Ryu and Ken in the Street Fighter series, but he has quite a few of his own quirks, such as his teleport, air fireball, and others. [Strengths and Weaknesses] Strengths: - Has a projectile on the ground and in the air - Good damage w/ few hits - Good speed Weaknesses: - Not good against turtles and offensive characters - Doesn't have many cross-ups - Low number of combos /////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ -----------------------------MOVELIST------------------------------- \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\/////////////////////////////////// Okay, throughout my movelist you'll see a lot of numbers (ex. 236+A). What they mean are the directions on the stick/pad, and they correspond to the numbers on your number pad, right there on that nice keyboard of yours. So therefore, 2 would be "down", 3 is "down-right", and 6 is "right". Here's a quick guide before I start: 1 (down-left) 2 (down) 3 (down-right) 4 (left) 5 (neutral, you probably won't see this one) 6 (right) 7 (up-left) 8 (up) 9 (up-right) Got it? Alright then. Note that when there is a direction input for an attack, it'll be assumed that you're facing right. If not, just reverse the direction. I don't think I need to explain this, but I figured I should. [Basic Attacks] These are K's basic attacks, just the one-button stuff. Left Jab (A) K' strikes out quickly with his left hand. Used for quick pokes and starting combos. Snap Kick (B) K' does a quick kick with his right leg. Again, a poker. Right Hook (C) K' hits the opponent hard with his gloved fist. Cancels into any of K's special moves or DMs. Uppercut (C when close) K' gets a 2-hit with a left uppercut. This one also cancels into any of K's specials or DMs. Straight Punch (A in air) K' strikes the opponent with his right fist. Jumping Knee (B in air) K' does a short knee kick. This move changs depending on whether you're moving or standing still. Air One Inch (C in air) K' does a variation of his One Inch in mid-air. Cancels into the Air Trigger, or the Minute Spike. Jumping Roundhouse (D in air) K' performs a powerful kick with his left leg in mid-air. Cancels into the Air Trigger and the Minute Spike. Crouching Jab (A while crouching) K' strikes the opponent with a left jab. Crouching Kick (B while crouching) K' kicks the opponent with his left leg. Rising Uppercut (C while crouching) K' rises and uppercuts the opponent. This cancels into any of K's special moves, as well as his DMs. [Command Moves] One Inch (6+A) K' does a short punch, that sends the opponent flying. Knee Assault (6+B) K' uses a short hopping knee kick to the face. [Throws] Elbow Drop (C or D when close) K' grabs the opponent, and brings his elbow down onto the back of their neck. [Special Moves] Iron Trigger (236+A or C) K' shoots out a ring of flame with his right hand. This move has three variations, the Second Shell, the Second Shoot and the Blackout, and the attack also has auto-guard against projectiles. Second Shell (B after Iron Trigger) K' kicks the flame ring, making a fireball that flies toward the enemy. Second Shoot (D after Iron Trigger) K' kicks the flame ring into the air, forming an arc of fire. This attack can knock opponents into the air, and can also be used for anti-air. Blackout (236+B or D alone, 4+B or D after Iron Trigger) K' teleports across the screen. The weaker version slides him right near his opponent while the stronger version puts him behind them. Minute Spike (214+B or D) K' does a full-on jumping kick towards the enemy. This attack can be followed up with the Narrow Spike, and can also be performed in the air. Narrow Spike (214+B or D after Minute Spike) K' follows up with a sliding kick that hits low. This move is great in my opinion, since it gives an opponent something to worry about if you go low. Crow Bite (623+A or C) K' jumps into the air at an arc, with a trail of flames on his hand. This is an anti-air, and can be followed up with a kick. Secondary Bite (6+B or D after Crow Bite) K' uses a flaming kick to send the opponent into the ground. Air Trigger (236+B or D in air) K' kicks a fireball at the opponent. He hops backward after the attack, so you'll be vulnerable to a counter-attack if the opponent isn't hit. [Desperation Moves] Heat Drive (236236+A or C) K' drives his powers into a single flame on his hand, then dashes toward the opponent at high speed. The resulting punch sends the opponent spiraling into the air. Heaven's Drive (236236+B or D) K' does a standing Crow Bite, follows it up with a standard Crow Bite to the Secondary Bite. (Leader Desperation Move] Chain Drive (2363214+A and C) K' throws his sunglasses at the opponent. If they connect, he hits them with a 26-hit combo, ending it with a Heat Drive. /////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ -----------------------------STRATEGY------------------------------- \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\/////////////////////////////////// [Combos] I'm still working on these, so the list'll be short. -2+A, 6+B, 214+B or D. -2+B, 2+A, 6+A, 214+B or D. -2+B, 2+A, 236236+B or D. -close C, 236+A or C, D followup, then 236236+A or C, 236236+B or D, or 2363214+A and C. [Playing Offensively] These are some things I do personally when playing as K', take some notes and throw in your own style. To fight with K' offensively, you have to make the most of his basic attacks and use the follow-ups to his specials to get big damage. Blackout can confuse your opponent, and allow you to get good hits in. Iron Trigger can be used as a mix-up with either the Second Shell or a Blackout. Pressure the opponent by using the Minute Spike, as it can be done on ground or in the air. The Heaven's Drive DM is good for ending jump-in combos, also. [Playing Defensively] To fight with K' defensively, use his Iron Trigger to keep your opponent at a distance, throwing out a Second Shell every so often.
