GAME CONTROLS ========================================================= As most of you have figured, the controls for THPS4 are basically no different than 3, 2, or 1, except for a few minor changes, listed below: - SKITCHING ~ Hold UP behind any moving vehicle until you grab on (then you can let go). You must balance like you were grinding. Tap DOWN to let go with SiC speed! - SPINE TRANSFER ~ When approching a spine (double sided quarter pipe) ollie off of the top and then tap L2 or R2 to transfer to the other side. This can be followed up by a revert and manual to rip some sic combos. - FREESTYLIN' ~ I love this since I'm more of a street skater. First, manual or nose manual (DOWN UP, or UP DOWN) and tap any combination of two buttons (TRIANGLE, CIRCLE, or SQUARE -- don't use X). EXAMPLE - tap DOWN, UP to manual, then tap TRIANGLE + TRIANGLE to go to a Pogo. Then tap SQUARE + SQUARE to Wrap Around. D-Pad / Left Analog (L3) -- Move your character. Press in coherence with TRIANGLE, CIRCLE, or SQUARE to do a trick. Right Analong (R3) -- Switch Camera Angle (Hold) Start -- Pause Game. Make Menu Selections. Select -- NO USE CIRCLE -- Use with L3 to do GRAB TRICKS TRIANGLE -- Use with L3 to do a grind on a ledge or rail. Press TRIANGLE alone to do a 50-50 grind. Use at a 45 degree angle to a wall to wallride SQUARE -- Use with L3 to do FLIP TRICKS X Button -- Ollie (jump), Nollie, Wallie (while wallriding) ============================================================================ V. Styles, Modes, and Types of Play ============================================================================ CAREER MODE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The mode you will spend most of your time on. In this mode, you skate around and talk to people with blue (or red) arrows over their heads and complete the goals they ask of you. Red arrows are harder goal, but you don't earn these until you complete at least one skaters pro challenge. Also in this mode, you can earn new levels, stat points, new special trick spots (can be edited), and of course, CHA-CHING... cash!!! SINGLE SESSION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ya got 2:00 to roam the (unlocked) level of your choice. The only real point of this mode is to set goals and try to challenge yourself to beat your old ones. Blah, blah, blah... FREE SKATE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another mode most people like to play when they're fed up with all of those darn goals. Shred the level of your choice and skate for as long as you want, or at least until your PS2 (GC, XBOX) explodes! TWO PLAYER ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Got a friend over? Well here ya go! The different types of games are TRICK ATTACK - most points wins, GRAFFITI - trick off objects and make them your color, FREE SKATE - do I need to explain this? SLAP! - run into your opponent the most times and win, KING OF THE HILL, HORSE, COMBO MOMBO. The last two are CAPTURE THE FLAG and GOAL ATTACK, but can only be played online! NETWORK PLAY ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This involves taking your PS2 online which I haven't done yet. I am hoping to get an adapter sometime around Christmas or my B-Day. You can play Capture the Flag and Goal Attack with up to 8 people! =========================================================================== VI. A nice level for "noobs". ****************************************************************** High Score ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - You must get a high score of 40,000 in 2:00 - Just pop some combos and a few specials - this should be no challenge to most THPS players ****************************************************************** Pro Score ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Pull off a 75,000 score in 2:00 - Also very simple ~ just snag a few specials, reverts, and manuals and it's in the bag ****************************************************************** Collect Skate ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Collect the letters of S-K-A-T-E - As in most SKATE goals, the letters are followed by one another. - (S) By a blue and white building, hard to miss. Grind a blue rail, ollie and grind again to snag this letter - (K) On a wire by the yellow steel beam parking garage. Go to the top and jump out to the left on a wire to catch the K - (A) Acuire the A by launching the frat house ledge - (T) Near the A, you can't miss it. Go up a blue ramp and the letter is yours! - (E) Building across from the T. You'll need to spine transfer to snag it! ****************************************************************** Collect Combo ****************************************************************** - EASY - Collect the green C-O-M-B-O letters ~ in one COMBO - Grind the rail with the (C), and keep shredding for the (O), (M), (B). Jump over the bridge when you see the last (O) and snag it. ****************************************************************** Race The Inline SKater ****************************************************************** - EASY - Luge through the flags all over the course (there is a red arrow that tells you where to go) - Not much to explain. Race and make sure you make it through the flags. This is a real easy goal to grab ****************************************************************** Nail The Tricks They Yell Out ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Nail the tricks the kids yell out - Tricks will appear on the screen (with button combanations) and you must nail them. There is a halfpipe in front of you to work with. ****************************************************************** Get Back At The 5 Frat Boys ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Grind/trick on the frat boys - Head to the frat boy balcony. The frat boys will have orange arrows over their heads. Just grind the ledges next to them, or pop a trick by them ~ this one's a piece of CAKE. ****************************************************************** Spine Transfer Over The Wall ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Transfer over the spine/wall and do a few tricks - First, just transfer over the wall to the left (L2, R2). Go back and do it again while poppin' the trick that it says. Repeat! ****************************************************************** Warn The Other Skaters ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Skate near the 4 skaters the cop is going to bust - There is a red arrow telling you where to go, and there are orange arrows over each skater ~ how much easier can it get? Huh? ****************************************************************** Skitch The Professor's Car ****************************************************************** - EASY - Skitch on the Prof's Car till it makes you stop - The car is right in front of you. Press up behind it and balance just like you were grinding. Eventually, it'll stop and you will have completed this goal. ****************************************************************** Grind Down Officer Tom's Banners ****************************************************************** - EASY - Officer Tom has banners over the city and you gotta grind 'em down, 'cause Officer Tom sucks! - I think there are 7 banners in all. Wallride up the first wall in front of you and grind down 4 banners. Turn right and repeat for the next 3 and final banners. ~ BAM! ****************************************************************** Stop All Of The Pink Elephants ****************************************************************** - EASY - Tag all the pink elephants in the limit. - Grind on the rail in front of you and make sure to get the elephants. They are pretty much in a row. You will need to Spine Transfer by using (L2, R2), Revert (L2, R2), and Manual (UP + DOWN) ****************************************************************** Medal The High-Combo Competition ****************************************************************** - EASY - Pop a COMBO and snag a medal. Must place 3rd or better to win - Try doing an air trick, revert, manual, and do it again. Or you can freestyle: manual, than press two random buttons (TRIANGLE, SQUARE, or CIRCLE ~ not X). A 50,000 point combo will do! ****************************************************************** Nail A 360 Varial McTwist ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Land a 360 Varial McTwist off of a vert ramp - First, work up your special meter, then go up a ramp and kick this trick (it tells you the button combination). ****************************************************************** Clock 5 Jocks In One Combo ****************************************************************** - EASY - You must clock 5 jocks in one combo. Also, you MUST BE GRINDING to whack a jock, or he'll whack you! - Just grind the rail and smack as many as you can. Then manual, turn around and repeat until you knock down at least 5 football jocks! ****************************************************************** Gap Between Floats 10 Times ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Gap through the floats at least 10 times. - Major ease. Just Spine between the last few floats and this is all you, baby! ****************************************************************** Combo The Benches, Stairs, And Flag Poles ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - Get a 50,000 point combo on the benches, stairs, and flagpole. - Start by grinding the bench in front of you. Ollie on the stair ledge and grind, then ollie on the flagpole circle. Grind as long as you want. I jumped off, manualed, and did a special vert trick. ****************************************************************** Get All 4 Masters Lip Gaps ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY/EASY - Lip trick the 4 MASTER's ledges. - (1) Lip the ledge right in front of you. - (2) Lip the "HomeComing2K2" sign. Make sure you get enough air. - (3) Turn around and lip the building top - (4) Turn right from lip 3 and lip this one ****************************************************************** Collect Pro Combo ****************************************************************** - MEDIUM - Collect C-O-M-B-O in one Combo. - Launch off of the quarter pipe to grab the C and keep shreddin' for the O. Jump and grind the perpendicular ledge for the M and the B. Jump off and manual the the end and ollie and grind the ledge at the end for the final O. ~ CHA CHING! ****************************************************************** Beat Bob's 3 Best Combos ****************************************************************** - EASY - Beat 3 combo's of 20,000, 40,000, and 60,000 - Use your skills to grab each score. Travel right and collect the rest of them. They are so easy to see. If you can't see them, e-mail me and I'll bash you square in the forehead. ****************************************************************** Lip Trick The 3 Pier Signs ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Lip, with an AXLE STALL, the 3 pier signs - The first sign is right in front of you and the next 2 are on the other side of the dock. Hard right? Right. ****************************************************************** Feed The 4 Angry Sea Lions ****************************************************************** - EASY - Feed the 4 sea lions and save the man - Along the rail of the pier are 4 fishermen. Behind them are their tackleboxes. Put 2 and 2 togther. Knock the tacklebox over, then grind his ledge to drop the fish in the water. Repeat 3 times and call me in the morning! ****************************************************************** Manual The Overhead Walkway ****************************************************************** - EASY - You should have pretty good manual balance for this one. - Just keep a manual from the first set of cones to the second. It was a piece of cake for me because I was Rodney Mullen. ****************************************************************** Beat Muska's 3 Best Combos ****************************************************************** - EXTREMELY EASY - Oh... My... God... - The Three Combos are: (1) 4,000 (2) 5,000 (3) 6,000 - I shalln't needeth say anything else ****************************************************************** Darkslide The Waterside Railing ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Darkslide behind the dude and get your pic snapped - Work to get a special on the quarterpipe on the far end. Coming back, nail a Darkslide behind the man to get an easy $250 ****************************************************************** Medal The Competion ****************************************************************** - EASY - Place 3rd or better - Get at least 90,000 each run to be guaranteed a medal ****************************************************************** Get A Pro Score ****************************************************************** - EASY - Get 100,000 in 2:00 - Same old stuff here... ****************************************************************** Save Painter Neal ****************************************************************** - EXTREMELY EASY - Save the painter from the shark out there! - In front of you is a ball with the curvy rail, GRIND IT... another easy way to get $250 ****************************************************************** Race The Bike Messenger ****************************************************************** - EASY - Race the biker to the warehouse thing and back - You MUST skitch a car to start with. Let go and tag the warehouse, which is marked by an orange arrow. Race back (you may or may not need to skitch back... I didn't). ****************************************************************** Race To Get The Camera ****************************************************************** - EASY - Retrieve the Afro-dude's camera so he can keep snappin! - All you need to do is follow the red arrow to the warehouse, the bus stop bench, under a set of stairs, and bring it to Afro-dude. ****************************************************************** Manual, Gap, And Manual The Setup ****************************************************************** - EASY - Manual and gap, and manual the set up that's there - Start by manualing the jiggy wooden line, gap the table, and manual to the end... make sure to ride off - DON'T OLLIE! ****************************************************************** Nail The Tricks They Yell Out ****************************************************************** - EASY - Hit the yelled tricks while coming on or off the ledge - Need I further explain? I think not. ****************************************************************** Get A Sick Score ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - 300,000 poins in 2:00 - Use your specials with reverts and special Manuals ****************************************************************** Collect Pro Combo ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - Get C-O-M-B-O in one Combo - Launch the ramp by the C and start a grind one the wire. Switch over for the O and back again for the M. Ollie off, manual, launch the vert for the B, and revert manual out for the O. ****************************************************************** Manual The Pad In Both Directions ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - Manual across the lil' pad forward and back. - Start by manualing forward, ollie off, manual up the ramp, revert, ollie and start another manual on the pad going back. The only thing that makes this somewhat of a challege is the breaks in the pad. ****************************************************************** Do The Spine Transfer-Transfer ****************************************************************** - EASY - Transfer from a spine to the next... while Spine Transfering. - Sounds complicated, but isn't. Drop a ledge to the 2 spines next to each other. Lauch from one like you were doing a channel gap over ther grass. Then tap R2 or L2 to S.T. while doing the channel-like gap. Got it? ****************************************************************** Grind The Blockers Of The Ledges ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - Grind the blockers off of the ledges, but watch out for Cop-and-a-half. - Under the ledge is a red alarm. Wallride the alarm, rush up and grind one ledge. Repeat. I did it in one try, but it was sort-of hard. +------------------------------+ | ALCATRAZ | +------------------------------+ RATING: 9 ~ This level is huge with a variety of fun and challenging levels, like "Escape From Alcatraz" or "The Bullzeye Launch" ****************************************************************** Get A High Score ****************************************************************** - VERY EASY - Establish 55,000 points in 2:00 - Same as always... except this is so easy it's not funny ****************************************************************** Collect The Combo Letters ****************************************************************** - EASY - Collect C-O-M-B-O in one combo. - See the ledge in front of you? Grind it for the C but make sure you jump off soon enough to grab the O. Shred the pipe and jump off after the M and the B is on a roof after the pipes by the M. The O is on a ramp on the roof. ****************************************************************** Collect The Skate Letters ****************************************************************** - EASY - Collect S-K-A-T-E - (S) Don't tell me you can't find this... - (K) Below the letter S. - (A) Off of a ramp. Go straight after you get K. - (T) On a pipe after the A. - (E) Keep shredding the pipe with the T on it and jump off when you get to a roof and launch off of a ramp. ****************************************************************** Take The Alcatraz Tour ****************************************************************** - EASY - Shred Ranger Bob, because no one likes him! - (1) Skitch the rangers car (2) He will stop for the birds, so jump the ramp and grind them off and skitch his car. (3) He'll stop for beer kegs littering the place ~ grind them off and skitch. (4) He will stop at Ranger Bob by a ledge ~ grind his *** off the ledge!! ****************************************************************** Revert Madness ****************************************************************** - EASY - Revert ~ Revert to Manual ~ Lip to Revert to Manual - (1) Just jump off the ramp and revert. (2) Jump, revert and then manual out. (3) Pop a lip trick, revert and manual out... FINISHED!! ****************************************************************** Dunk 30 Tourists ****************************************************************** - EASY - Push in 30 tourists within the time limit - Along the railing there are tourists ~ just skate into all of them. Eventually, they will reappear and you can just knock them back in. ****************************************************************** Distract The Guards ****************************************************************** - EASY - Distract guards by knocking over trash cans - There are 11 trash cans marked by orange arrows. Go up the switchbacks collecting the (7) that are there. Go around the building to the baseball field and up the ramp by it for (9). Follow that striaght out, grab (10 and 11) and grind the Foghorn Rail. ****************************************************************** Semi Flip The Bulldozer ****************************************************************** - EASY - Semi-Flip over the bulldozer - Work to get special. There is a ramp on the bulldozer. Launch over and pop a semi-flip. ****************************************************************** Find The Guard's Keys ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - Snag all of the guards keys - The first set of many keys is on a grindable ledge right in front of you. Wallride and grind the building rail to the right for the second set of keys. The 3rd set is around the perimiter of the bowl. ****************************************************************** Medal In The Competiton ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - Place 3rd or better in the Competition - As long as you get around 115,000 each time, you are fine. ****************************************************************** Get A Pro Score ****************************************************************** - EASY - Score 100,000 in 2:00 - Same as always, blah, blah, blah ****************************************************************** Pull Off Mullen's Tech Trick ****************************************************************** - EASY - Pull of a combo line - Hit the trick it gives you, manual the roof, then hit then next trick out ~ in once Combo... BADA BING! ****************************************************************** Ranger Ron's Skitch Launch ****************************************************************** - EASY - Skitch Ron's cart and launch for distance and height - (1) When you grab the right side, you will go for distance. When you reach a kicker ramp, let go of the skitch and you will launch to a place with a vert and kicker ramp. If you went on the right side you will be lined up with the kicker. Launch as far as you can!! (2) Do the same thing, except on the left side of the cart. ****************************************************************** Escape From Alcatraz ****************************************************************** - HARD - Collect 33 items in 1:00 - Luckily, they are in a row... - Start by grinding down the rope, then jump off and grind on the prison roof's window it lines you up with. When you get that one, jump to the left window and get that one. Then there is a little vert ramp. Launch to the right, making sure to get the 3 in the air and you will land in the pool. Grind around the pool clock wise and jump off when you see the little passage. Grind the rail you see down the stairs (make sure to ollie over the gap) and you'll end up down another small nook. You'll see a little rail with a tool over it... grind it and it will line you up with the halfpipe you will launch off of to cross the gap. Then grab the tool above the pitcher's mound. This is kinda tricky ~ grind the leftmost pipe and when you reach the peak, jump off, collecting the tools in the air and landing on a set of smaller pipes. When you get off, grind the edge of the quarter pipe and ollie over the crushed wall and keep grinding. Next, you will need to grind a handrail ~ grind this until you drop off. Then shred the ledge to the left and stay on and it will take you to the boat. Ollie off when you get to the front, turn, and go up the skinny ramps on either side for the last tool... Whew! ****************************************************************** Nail The Tricks They Yell Out ****************************************************************** - EASY - Pop the tricks that appear on the right of the screen - You know what to do. ****************************************************************** Bullseye Launch ****************************************************************** - EASY - Get 400 Points in 10 launches - (Green) 10 points - (Blue) 20 points - (Yellow) 50 points - (Red) 100 points - This is one of my favorite goals. The bullseye is a little off-center, so take some tries and get used to it. As long as you get 50's each time, you can get 400 points in 8 tries, or if you get 100's, in 4 tries... ****************************************************************** Get A Sick Score ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - Get 400,000 points in 2:00 - Same old, same old ****************************************************************** Collect Pro Combo ****************************************************************** - MEDIUM - Collect C-O-M-B-O in one line - Grind for the C and wall-grind the the left ledge. Jump to snag the O. Grind the roof by the O and jump over the distortion to get the M. Ollie by the distorted rail for the B, and the last O is on a wire led to by the B ledge. ****************************************************************** Pose For 6 Pictures ****************************************************************** - EASY/MEDIUM - Do the 6 things Afro-man says - (1) Nosegrab over the crumbled wall ~ easy - (2) Lip the red power railing and make sure you lip the top - (3) Pop-Shove It over the gap next to the stairs - (4) Do the trick over the blown out wall - (5) Take the elevator to the top and lip the flagpole... "Salute!" - (6) Across the flag is a ramp with a pipe. Grind it and ollie onto the wire when you get there ~ and that's it!! "Holy F@&#!" ****************************************************************** Manual The Switchbacks ****************************************************************** - HARD - Manual from the switchbacks all the way to the end - Not much I can tell you except you NEED good balance, and that's all the help I can give you! The switchbacks are the downhill curves. You will pass two curves. Ride It till the end to get the gap called "MANUALED THE WHOLE THING!!!" ****************************************************************** Nail The Mega-Combos They Yell Out ****************************************************************** - EASY - Combos will appear. Nail them. In one combo. - Simple, just do the tricks in one launch. The last one is across the roof gap, just make sure you make it! ****************************************************************** Collect The Rivets ****************************************************************** - MEDIUM - Collect 21 orange rivets for the foreman - I hate this goal. Start of at the rope in front of you and work around the perimiter and trail the edge and when you see the boat, grind it's edge and jump off when the trail of rivets continues. Follow a trail and launch off verts to collect rivets in air and hit a rail which leads you to a staircase. Keep following the rivets. You have 0:02 to get each one - There are 5 HUMONGUS bones. If you see the one at the start, get that and they all follow, you'll see. Just make sure to try and do the lips all in one ollie combo if you can. Also, nail 2 air tricks at a time. ****************************************************************** Knock Over 10 Ball Players In One Combo ****************************************************************** - MEDIUMD - Hit 10 BP's in a single combo. - Grind the rail ahead and leap into a manny. Revert the ramp and turn around. Grind the rail knocking off as many as possible then manny, turn around and hit the ones that have reappeared. Repeat this process until 10 ball players are down 'n' out!! ****************************************************************** Do a 100,000 Point Combo On The Ledge ****************************************************************** - MEDIUM - Get 100,000 points in a flatland combo string - You know what to do. Start by down a manny combo untill you get special. Then ollie into your special manual. Go back to a manny and use the button combinations to link to pogo's, caspers, flips, etc. Make sure to land it, too! ****************************************************************** 900 Off Bridge To The Ferry's Top Deck ****************************************************************** - MEDIUM - Do a 900 from the bridge to the boat. - Gain special on the ramps behind you. Launch with major speed at the brinde and make a hard right at the top. Hurry and tap the 900 buttons and straighten out to land on the top deck of the ferry. ****************************************************************** Distract The Guards ****************************************************************** - MEDIUM - Grind 4 cars outside the lot to help the Undercover Cop get in - The cop can only get in if all 4 car alarms are off at once so be quick because they only stay on for a few seconds. Keep trying and this one will be yours! ============================================================== VII. PRO CHALLENGES ============================================================== When you have completed at least 90 goals, you open the pro challenges for each character. Each goal is specific to that character. The cool thing is that once you beat 90 goals with anyone, every skaters pro challenge is unlocked. You may find that Pro Challenges are harder than other goals, hence "Pro" Challenge. Most of them are very creative and have a backround for each player, and are quite fun. I have typed this guide to try and help you pass a part you may be stuck on. Anyways, good luck, and first off, we have... ***************************************************************************** Tony Hawk ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 3 - "Man, that ramp is huge! Are they really going to move that scaffolding further out as you go? I'll get the photos, while you concentrate on nailing the tricks across the gap. Good luck man, and don't look down!" - (1) The first time, the gap is small and you need to pop a nosegrab, a tailgrab and an Indy over the gap. (2) The second time it grows a bit. Gap it a few times and get used to it. Then you'll need to do a Benihana, Japan, and a Madonna. You might have some trouble because these are diagonal buttons and they misalign you. Keep trying. (3) Now the gap is pretty big and you need to do all specials over it. Gap it a few few to get used to it again. Then stay in one pipe and gain special. Hit the ramp at a sharp angle and land the first trick. Repeat this process for the next two. The Indy 900 might give you one hell of a time with air. Make sure his stats are full!! ***************************************************************************** Bob Burnquist ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 7 - "Yo Bobby, wasn't that loop at your house big enough? See this time, they're making the gap bigger and bigger as you go. Oh, oh, yo, I'm on it, but try not to land on your freakin' head." - (1) The first loop gap is small. Follow the white X's to cross it. The first time, you will need to do the first set of tricks in the upper right corner of the screen. This is easy. (2) The second one is bigger so you'll aim a little to the right of the X's. The 2nd set of tricks requires diagonal presses so it's a little *****. But, it still should be able to be done if you've gotten this far. (3) Far. Yup. Merge the right corner to gap the loop. The third set's first trick is a Method. Easy, right? Yup. The second trick is a Samba Flip. Easy, right? Nope. You will need tremedous speed with button tapping. Also, your special meter must be full. This is the ass scratch of the goal. Use the halfpipes to practice your fast tapping skills and when you're ready, go for it. Next is the Sit Down Air. If you did the Samba Flip, you can pull off this mofo, right? Right... err... yea, sure... ***************************************************************************** Steve Caballero ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 3 - "Ah, that's my dog! What's up Cab? You ready to bust these doubles? The kids are gonna be stoked. We're gonna go over and under each other. I'm gonna start off with a flip, you're gonna go over me, then I'm gonna signal you, you so some lip trick, then I'm gonna go over you." - (1) The first 3 tricks are to be done while goign over Rick Thorne. When you have successfully launched over him, the "Air Over" gap will trigger. (2) For the next 3, you must go low and lip the halfpipe - not the wire - while Rick launches over you. Wait until the "Lip Under" gap appears and you can drop. (3) The next 3, you must go over Rick, but some diagonal presses are required (4) The fianl 3 are lip unders, also with diagonal presses. Good luck! ***************************************************************************** Kareem Campbell ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 7 - "Yo Yo Reemo baby, it is time to take it to the rooftops. Use your entire bag of flip tricks - bust the tricks across the roof gaps or they won't count. Survuve long enough and we'll want to see you do some combos." - (1) A List of tricks appear that must be done ACROSS the roof gap. Keep doing the tricks until Atiba wants to see some combos. An easy way to do this is to ollie over while doind one of the tricks, then manual and pop the tricks off of the ground. (2) Now you gotta bust two tricks over the pipe roof. ADVISE: Ollie off the roof while poppin' the first trick, then grind the pipe/wire, ollie off and hit the next trick. It's impossible to do some of those combos from an ollie without Moon Gravity. (3) Now you need to land a 5 trick combo across some of the gaps. It lists them and luckily it gives you doubles most of the time. Just do what it tells you. ;) ***************************************************************************** Rune Glifberg ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 8 - "Pool Party! Session these pools and do the ticks that the kids call out!" - (1) Gain speed - and special - on the pipe in front of you. Then as your going back, do your special Heelflip Handflip while transfering over the spine. (2) Now you need to stay in the bowl you transfered and nail a lip (Down/Left + Grind) on the Watertower Railing. (3) Now go back to the other bowl and you'll see a plank high up on the builgind roof sticking out. Snag a grab (Left + Grab) over it - you'll need plenty of air. (4) Stay in that pool and go back and forth. When you got-a-lotta speed, boneless off of the side by the building and lip (Up + Grind) the top cell block - need lots-o-air. (5) Go into the next bowl, gain speed and transfer from that bowl to the Watertower bowl. There's a catch 22. You must bust THROUGH the roof. Once again, air is a must. (6) Stay in the tower and land a 50,000 point combo inside of it. This should be easy. If you've gotten this far, you can do this. (7) Now you need to spine back into the pool FROM the Watertower WHILE doing one of your specials - Backfoot Flip Nosegrab. (8) Finally, the hardest and most questioned goal for this Pro Challenge. What's in the world is a grommet? The "grommet" is the kid standing on the top of the Watertower with this skateboard held up. You know what to do. Boneless up to him and do a One Foot Blunt on his board. Another method is to lip right below him, ollie up, then tap the button combination for the special lip as fast as hell... your choice, hot shot. ***************************************************************************** Eric Koston ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 6 - "Koston, are you sure you want ot chomp on this? It can definately make a sick photo, but you could get wrecked, man. All right, if you want to grind these cables, I'll get the photos." - (1) The first grind is down a steep winding cable that turns very often as you get to the bottom. Use the 50-50 because it's the easiest to balance. Keep it up over the turn and pay attention to the meter! Keep it in the middle! (2) The next grind yeilds a wicked U-Turn. Keep tapping the balance meter to the middle. This one is easier than the first grind. (3) Grind the metal wire between the two cranes until you reach the buoy. You need to go uphill for part of this goal, so ollie, grind, ollie, grind, repeat. This is easy if you got the balance, but.... do you? ***************************************************************************** Bucky Lasek ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 7 - "See if you can nail 5 big combos on this busted up old ramp." - (1) Pop a 10,000 point combo. Easy? Yup. Guess what. The middle of the spine starts to crumble and breaks! Uh-oh. (2) Now you need to do a 20,000 pint combo. Try transfering the broken spine. Ok? Ok. (3) The next combo is 50,000 and ya know what? The spince crumbles ever more, WHILE multiple pieces of the halfpipes fade as well. Sounds like fun, eh? (4) For the next, 100,000 point combo, there are only four pieces of spine left and many holes in the halfpipes. This ain't not joyride. (5) You though the last combos were hard? Ok. You mine-as-well quit right now. Unless you can get 250,000 points with a busted spine, ripped ramps, and now a HOLE in the floor of the ship leading to a burning acid pool. It's up to you... and your PS2 controller, of course. ***************************************************************************** Bam Margera ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 5 - "Welcome to the shopping cart Olympics! Now in four minutes, you gotta pass all 3 trials of shopping cart skill! Race, Hurdles, and Slalom. Now let's see what you got, man!" - (1) The first part is so easy for a Pro Challenge. Ride down the switchbacks and either finish out of the tunnel or the little sewer ramp at the end. If you go down the sewer, you need to ramp up it and land clean on one of the balconies. Ollie off at the end and crash land the water! (2) The second part, in my opinion, is the hardest. You must ollie (Cart Air) over each hurdle. On the second descent, use the kicker to launch over the hurdles. On the third decline, you must hop through the hols in the barricades. Take a sharp turn, hop the last hurdle by the sewer, launch, land, ollie, lan, launch, get wet. (3) The third isn;t much easier than the second. Steer through the barricades until the end. That's really all. It's a b**** when you get some speed though so try to memorize the places they are. Keep trying... jackass. ***************************************************************************** Rodney Mullen ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 6 - "Hey, Rodney! You've invented a ton of tricks over the years. Can you still remeber them all? Hit all of the tricks in each list in a single combo." - (1) For the first set, you must get special first. Then, you need to do three flip tricks and his Semi Flip in a combo. Now, I did this on flat ground just like Rodney does, but you can do it on the pipes, like Rodney don't. The tricks are as follows: (Left + Flip) (Right + Flip) (Up + Flip) and the Semi Flip (it's up to you to choose the buttons for that). (2) The next set is: (Left + Flip, Flip) (Right + Flip, Flip) (Up, Up + Flip) (Down + Grab) and (Down/Left + Flip, Flip) - yea, a little harder. (3) Here's my favorite part. I love manuals :) Ok, first trick into a manual, then tap these tricks: Casper (Flip + Grind), Casper Flip (Flip + Flip), Anti Casper (Flip + Grab), Handstand (Grab + Grab), Handstand Flip (Flip + Flip), then finally his Rusty Slide Manual Special. It is easier than it sounds... unless you suck... ***************************************************************************** Chad Muska ***************************************************************************** - Difficluty (1-10): 4 - "So, you want to make an album with us. Well, we're gonna have to hear some beats first. Nail tricks and combos to increase your beat meter. DOn't bail! Nail 8 beats, and we got us a deal!" - In my opinion, this is a really stupid challenge. It has nothing to do with Chad's skating skills, but whatever. Do I work at Neversoft? Hell no. - You will need to use combos to increase your score, and beat meter. When it gets to 1000, that's one beat, you need eight. For the first four beats, try to use halfpipes for the meter. For the final four, use flatland 'n' good ol' grinding to help use. Also, you are allowed to use specials *HINT*... ***************************************************************************** Andrew Reynolds ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 7 - "Hey Yo Drew! We're all set up for these photos. These could be the biggest gaps you've ever hit, man. Warm up ollieing the gap, and then we'll get a photo of each trick. If your knees don't blow out, your back defanately will." - Atiba sets up kickers all over for multiple gaps. You need to hit each one three times. The first time, just gap it. Second time - Double Kickflip. Third time - Triple Heelflip. (1) The first place is to gap the pier which isn't too bad. Ollie it, DKickflip, then do the final THeelflip. (2) The second gap is the overhead walkway. Not that hard either. A little more of a challenge this time, though. (3) Gap the fountain next. A little harder. You can ollie over the bronze piece, but you can also fall through the holes in it. It may cause some wreckage, though. (4) The difficulty just popped up a notch. From the kicker to the bowl. Gain some speed before dawning this mofo. (5) Hope the roof gap, then to the kicker, over the street, to the sidewalk!! Onward, yound lad. They saved the hardest for last. But, hey, your Andrew Reynolds, right? ***************************************************************************** Geoff Rowley ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 8 - "Let's see if you can nail these grind gaps! See, we'll start off small then we'll work our way up. The higher we go, the harder the combo gets." - The basic scheme of Geoff's (pronounced "Jeff") goal is doing a flip trick and then grinding in the same combo... sort of a Flip-Gap-Grind type of thing. (1) The first thingy is over by the South Bank. You will need to Flip (Up + Flip) and land in a Nosegrind. The same thing for the second try, just do a 5-0 instead of a Nosegrind. (2) On the roof of the national gallery. You need to hit (Up/Right + Flip) and a Crooked Grind. Then second part is the same but land an Overcrook instead. Then the 3rd time, you must land in a Rowley Darkslide. (3) Next is the rooftop, to the wires 'round the square. First, flip (Up/Left + Flip) into an FS Feeble then flip (Left + Flip) out of it. The second time, the first flip is the same, then land in a Rowley Darkslide and finish with (Left + Flip, Flip). The last one is to do a Casper Flip 360 Flip to a Rowley Darkslide to a (Left + Flip, Flip, Flip). They said it gets harder as you get farther. They weren't lying. ***************************************************************************** Elissa Steamer ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 7 - "Giz - now I know you all about going big these days. Let's get some photos of you busting on some of these big gaps. OK? Now Yo! The run-up's pretty sketchy, so hit the ramps and rails to halp you line up." - I can't give you much help with Elissa's goal, but I can tell you that is is basically the same as Andrew Reynold's goal if you look at it's roots. There are only 3 gaps for Elissa, but you must have more complex tricks and pops so in that manner it is much harder. If you have gotten this far, you should be able to figure this goal out and find it a challenge, but you'll get it. I can tell you that the gaps are: (1) The ramped guards walk over the wall onto the plywood piles. (2) The next trick is over the "Massive Crumbling Stairset" gap. Speed is the key!! (3) Whoa, nelly! You must ramp over the switchbacks to the sewer ramp part near the end. Yea, yea, Elissa's a girl, but compared to some, one hell of a skateboarder. ***************************************************************************** Jamie Thomas ***************************************************************************** - Difficulty (1-10): 6 - "Chief, nobody shoots an entire spotlight in one day! OK - all right, all right, if you say so. Do each tricks as fast as you can and then we'll break for the next spot. Chief, let's do this man." - (9:40 AM) Pop a FS 5-0 on the lower pool school lip, simple enough. - (10:20 AM) Do a (Down/Left + Flip, Flip) over the tennis net. - (12:00 PM) Nosegrind the right ledge of the McStone Bridge. - (12:30 PM) Smith Grind the steps of the Philosophy Building. - (1:10 PM) Grind and flip (Up + Flip) between the Colesium rails. - (2:00 PM) Nosegrind the school's blue rails. - (3:15 PM) Tailslide the bench by the tall tower. - (4:00 PM) Grind one of the kiosks and (Left + Flip) out - (6:20 PM) Nosegrind the frat ledge with the beer kegs. - (7:15 PM) (Down/Left + Grab) From the top of the Fine Arts to the English bulidings. - Skateboard. You have to hit all of the detonators and the only way to dodge the enemy fire is to be in a combo... ready, set, ACTION!" - Here are a few tips to remember when you start: (1) Everything must be in a combo - either grinding or manualing (2) You must hit green detonators, but DON'T hit the TNT piles!! (3) The screen shakes when a detonator is hit. It's hard to see the skater's lean, so keep an eye on the balance bar instead! - First, start a grind on the metal bar in front of you and hit the first (3) detonators. Hurry and hop to the left on the forth detonator. Ollie of, manual and launch the ramp, then revert-manual and grind the opposite side of the track past the TNT batch. Grind the detonator and hurry to ollie to the next side and hit that green detonator. Then ollie back AFTER you pass the TNT to hit the last detonator. Now, grind the ledge, manual off, launch up the vert ramp and do a lip trick on the helecopter and you're all set. CUT! CUT!! GAP LIST ========================================================================= A 'Gap' is when your skater successfully does a trick involving a piece of the environment, such as launching from one halfpipe to another, This also includes grinding and manualling. You know when you hit a gap becuase you will hear a snapping camera sound and blue text by your trick combinations. Below is a list of the gaps for each level. Thanks to SirKaos for all of these. He Rocks. ******************************************** College ******************************************** 1. Plaza Jump!: Location - Far side of the map by the Flag Pole. Grind the steps down, ollie off and begin to grind the Water around the flag pole. 2. Kiosk Hop!: Location - Directly ahead from start, up the stairs from the mail plaza there are 2 blue bulletin boards, grind either the fence to the left or the rail in back of the boards, ollie off and grind any part of the boards. Or grind, ollie, into a manual, then grind the boards. 3. Log Hop!: Location - In the "River" there are several Logs. Grind any one, ollie off and grind onto another set of logs. 4. Rail Cross: Location - Best bet is the Coliseum, grind one of the rails, ollie off, land on the rail besides it into another grind. 5. Rail Hop!: Location - Any set of rails on the map. Grind one of the rails, ollie off to another rail and grind that rail to nail this gap. 6. Bachelors in Engineering Grind: Location - The Building with the banner that "Swallow Pride" on it. Do a Grind right at the top of the ramp to take care of this gap. 7. Bachelors in Fine Arts Grind: Location - The Building opposite the Engineering building, glass windows on it. Do a grind trick at the top of the ramp and your set. 8. Banner Gap: Location - When you do the Officer Tom for Security Chief "mission" as you grind the wall and knock down the banners, you will get the banner gaps. 9. Bench to Bench!: Location - In the middle of the 4 building there is a bench, Grind the left side of the bench, (facing the Fine Arts Building) ollie off the bench to the other bench on the right side of the Fine Arts Building 10. Class Transfer: Location - Over by the "do the trick they call out goal" there are 2 ramps on either side of the "Woodland School" use the ramp on the left, get some speed, and get onto the roof to the left of the ramp. 11. Coliseum Transfer: Location - In the Coliseum where you "clock the jocks" there are ramps on either side. You can choose to use the ramps and go OUT of the coliseum to a ramp on the other side of the wall. Or you can use the ramps on the outside and go INTO the coliseum. 12. Gateway gap!: Location - All around the College there is a wall, in each gap there is a blue arch, get on the wall at any point and grind over one of the arches. 13. Grind hop to the fence: Location - Directly ahead from the start point. Grind the rail on the stairs to the right, ollie and grind the fence between the 2 basketball courts. 14. High Road Hop: Location - Go left from the start point. You will see a RED rail over by the parking garage which you can grind up into the gates for the parking garage, grind to the top of the gate, ollie off and grind again to the power lines, jump off into the parking garage, done. 15. Higher Learnin: Location - At the "woodland School" there are 2 sets of rails leading up the door. Grind either rail, ollie up and grind the overhang above the door to the school. 16. Into the River: Location - Left of the Flag Pole. There are two ramps to the left and right of the "River" Use either ramp, and go down "into the river". 17. Nice Equipment: Location - Head off to the left of the start point. Next to the Movie Theater there is "Bill's Sporting Goods". To the left of the store you will see a planter. Get some speed, ollie off the planter onto the ledge of the sporting goods store and your done. 18. Off the lil kicker: Location - Any of the sets of stairs around this map. At the top of the stairs, there are "lil kickers" ollie off any one of them to get this gap. 19. Over the Stairs: Location - Directly ahead from the start point. Get some speed with the ramp to the left, go to the right and clear the stairs using the 2 ramps. 20. Schnitzels for all!: Location - Using the truck to the right of the start point, get up some speed, ollie off the truck to the top of the building into a grind. This gap can also be used for the "Through the Frat Window" gaps as well if you go all the way through the window. 21. Skippin' over: Location - All over this level. Basically any curb or fence can be used, as long as there is another one right near it. Grind off one, ollie off, grind to the next. 22. Through the Frat Window Grinding - 2 ways to do this. 1st, use the same truck and get on "Schnitzel world" grind the upper ledge through the window. 2nd. Go into the coliseum use the ramp to your right, hop over the wall and grind the ledge through the window. 23. Through the Frat Window Manualing: Location - Use the coliseum, use the ramp to your right, over to the ledge again, go into a manual and through the window Does not need to be fast, nice and slow works as well. 24. Through the Frat Window Olling - Location - To the right of the start point. Use the truck with the ramp on it to jump on the "Schnitzel World" overhang go to your left and ollie through the window. Or, ollie out of the window when you are in the frat house. 25. Bachelors in Engineering Lip: Location - The Building with the Banner on it that reads "Swallow Pride" There is a rail right on top of the ramp. Lip trick the top of the ramp to get your Bachelors in Engineering. 26. Bachelors in Fine Arts Lip: Location - Opposite the Engineering building, glass windows mark this building out. Get on the ramp and do a lip trick at the top of this ramp to get this gap. 27. Masters in Engineering Grind: Location - Engineering Building again. Get some speed and get to the upper part of the building where the banner hangs and grind it. 28. Masters in English Grind: Location - Same building again, get some good speed again. Hit the ramp with some speed, get to the roof again and grind it. You need to go from the ramp and do these, already being one the roof will not count for ANY of the MASTER grinds or Lips. 29. Masters in Fine Arts Grind: Location - Same as the Masters Lip trick, hit the ramp at an angle and do a grind on the roof of the building and your set. 30. Masters in Philosophy Grind: Location - Same as the Lip trick, get some speed, hit either ramp with some speed and do a grind on the roof, its a small fit, so hit the inner part of the ramp moving outwards is the best bet. 31. On the Fence!: Location - At the tennis court, the chain-link fence. Ollie using a "lil kicker" at the top of the steps by Atiba Jefferson and grind the top of the fence. 32. Out of the River: Location - At the end of the river, there is a ramp, take the ramp and go out of the river to the ramps on either the left or right side of the river. 33. Masters in Engineering Lip: Location - Engineering Building (the one w/ the banner) get some speed and get onto the upper part of the building where the banner hangs and lip trick on it. 34. Masters in English Lip: Location - To the left of the Fine Arts and Engineering Buildings there is a "older" looking building, the one with the walk-way through the middle. To the Right of the walk-way, there is a ramp. Get some good Speed up (YOU NEED IT!) get up to the roof of the building and lip trick. Its a bit tricky at first to get the speed you need to get up there. 35. Masters in Fine Arts Lip: Location - Same deal as the Masters grind. Get some speed off the ramp and do a lip trick on the roof of the fine arts building. 36. Masters in Philosophy Lip: Location - To do this gap you must either start, or complete the High Score Challenge. You will notice 2 ramps on either side of the White Building to the right of the Fine Arts, and Engineering Building. Get some speed, get to the roof of the building and lip trick it. 37. Traffic Light Grind: Location - Right when you start the map. The intersection has 4 traffic lights. Pick one. Get on them either by getting on the Wall, The Movie Theater, or the Overhang on "Schnitzel World". 38. Clock tower Grind: Location - Well, on the other side of the Clock Tower on the far side of the map there is a "Black Hole" Ollie into the "blackness" and you will end up coming out flying in the air over the wire heading down to the top of the English building. Grind down, hold your balance, do a few grinds down to the roof and its done. 39. Over the River: Location - Same place as into the river. Left of the Flag pole. Use either of the 2 ramps and get yourself over to the ramp on the other side of the "river". 40. Tony's Pro Challenge Gap: located during the pro challenge. Gap the half pipes. ************************************** San Fransisco ************************************** 1. Down The Stairs: In the dock area there are two sets of stairs with a landing between them. Jump from the top to the landing or the landing to the bottom to clear this gap. 2. EMB Ledge Hop: There's a ledge along the main road of the level. Grind this ledge, then hop over any of the higher ledges that the giant stone balls rest on, and grind the ledge again on the other side. 3. Wire Hop: While grinding the power lines, hop from one to the other. 4. 3rd n Army Hop n Grind: To the right of the start, behind the Slam Bros. building there are four large white rails. Grind them, hopping from one to another. 5. 3rd n Army Lip: Near the same place as the Hop n Grind, there are two quarterpipes set into a building. Do a lip trick on the rails above those quarters. 6. Bench grind: In front of the largest building with the Nokia sign there is a gray bench. Grind it. 7. Bowl Transfer: In the grassy area by the EMB ledge there is a bowl. While inside the bowl, jump over either of it's entrances. 8. Cleared the Stair Set: Jump completely over the stair set from the Down The Stairs gap. 9. Down the Spiral: Grind the outside rail of the spiral ramp in front of the large center building. 10. Fountain Ramp To Ramp: Transfer from one of the ramps inside the fountain, over the art sculpture, to the other ramp. 11. Gap the Bus: Jump completely over either of the buses in the 3rd n Army area. 12. Gone High: Looking at the building with the spiral ramps, there is a quarterpipe on the left side. Transfer from this quarterpipe up a floor to get the Rampin' Up gap. Turn around and transfer from the first level up to the next to get this gap. 13. Hubba Ledge: On the building with the spiral ramps, there is also a staircase that leads up to the first balcony. Grind down the ledge on either side of the staircase. 14. Ledge Hop: There are two light brown buildings with ledges on their fronts. Grind a ledge, then hop over the gap in the doorway and grind the other side. 15. Manualin': When you do the Manual the Overhead Walkway goal, you get this gap as you manual through the first set of cones. 16. Mechanic Pop: There are mechanics working underneath the buses in the 3rd n Army area. When their legs are sticking out, hop over them. 17. Ramp To Ramp: In front of the dock there are two white quarterpipes with red trim. Transfer from one to the other. 18. Overhead Grind Hop: Grind one side of the overhead walkway, then hop over and grind the other side. It's easiest to do this when the walkway turns. 19. Rampin' up: Looking at the building with the spiral ramps, there is a quarterpipe on the left side. Transfer from this quarterpipe up a floor to another quarter. 20. TC's Roof Gap Too: From the top of the building marked Pier 18, jump to the other building with Slam Bros. marked on it. 21. Up the Stairs: Jump up the set of stairs behind the dock buildings. It's the same set of stairs from the Down the Stairs gap. 22. 3rd Army Grind: When you're doing the Darkslide the Waterside Railing goal you'll get this one. 23. Almost: Fourth part of the Manual, Gap and Manual the setup goal. 24. Cleared the Gap: Third part of the Manual, Gap and Manual the setup goal. 25. Halfway There!: Second part of the Manual, Gap and Manual the setup goal. 26. Heading Back: When you do the Manual the Pad in both directions goal, you'll get this one after you turn around and start in the other direction. 27. Hubba Spine!: Do a spine transfer on one of the quarterpipes in ProSet1. 28. Hubba Transfer!: Transfer from one of the quarterpipes from ProSet1 to the other. 29. Made It!: The fifth part of the Manual, Gap and Manual the setup goal. 30. On the Way: The first part of the Manual, Gap and Manual the setup goal. 31. Pad Manual East: Manual the pad in the 3rd n Army area with the water on your left and the buses on your right. 32. Pad Manual West: Manual the pad in the 3rd n Army area with the water on your right and the buses on your left. 33. Wire Breakin!!!: In the Save Painter Neal mission, when you grind the wire around the ball you should get this gap. 34. Manual Pleasure: Completing the Manual the Overhead Walkway goal will give you this gap. 35. Pier Perch: Do a lip trick on one of the tall signs on the pier. These gaps can only be done during Andrew Reynold's pro challenge: 1. Andrew's Pro Challenge Pier: Jump from the overhead walkway to the pier. 2. Andrew's Pro Challenge Walkway: Jump over the overhead walkway. 3. Andrew's Pro Challenge Bowl: Jump across the street and into the EMB Bowl. 4. Andrew's Pro Challenge Fountain: Jump over the fountain. 5. Andrew's Pro Challenge Street: Jump from the Pier 18 building over the street. ********************************************** Alcatraz ********************************************** 1. Lip Extension--Perform a stall on nearly any ledge or lip that overhangs a quater pipe. 2. Watertower Lip--Drain the pool and air up to a stall on the railing around the water tower. 3. Wired--Leap into a grind on the wire connecting the lamppost down near the docks. 4. Bathroom Break--Transfer the ramps flanking the bathroom doorway. The bathroom is between the parade grounds and the 2nd switchback. 5. Bleacher Hop--Transfer a grind across 2 of the sets of bleachers near the baseball diamond. 6. Broken Walk--Transfer a grind across the gap between the handrails on the walkway just below the lighthouse. 7. Cellblock transfer--Transfer the quarter pipes against the outside of the cellblock entrance. Air over the entrance to the cellblock interior or the stairwell leading to the roof. 8. Cellblock roof 2 exercise yard wall transfer--Go straight off the wooden ramp on top of the cellblocks into a grind on the exercise yard wall below. 9. Down the hatch--The building directly across from the bathroom at the middle switchback has 2 glass skylights on its roof, break through the one closer to the parade grounds to break through a boarded up wall near the dock. 10. Ferry Transfer--Transfer between the quarter pipe at the end of the dock and the one on the stern of the ferry. 11. Ferry Princess -- in a grind transfer from the wall on the left of the boat to the edge of the boat. 12. Gutter Punk--Grind the railing beside the building with the tunnel and transfer the gutter on the building with the tunnel.. 13. How'd you get up there?--Hop out of the pool and lip trick on the roof of the cellblock. 14. Ledge to Ledge--Transfer a grind between any 2 ledges 15. Ledge to pipe--Transfer a grind between a stone ledge and one of the large pipes near the water tower. 16. Pipe to pipe--Transfer a grind between the 2 pipes on the cellblock roof. 17. Rail 2 Ledge--Transfer a grind from the rail to a Ledge. Parade ground best place. 18. Pipe 2 Ledge: Grind the middle pipe leading from the baseball diamond towards the switchback and ollie straight off it to the ledge near the steps. Nail it in a grind. 19. Over dock stairs--Grind the wooden rail around the backside of the building near the parade grounds and Ollie the railing and over the walkway and stairs that lead down towards the docks. 20. Pipe smoker--Transfer a grind between 2 of the pipes running between the exercise yard and the powerhouse.. 21. Pool Change--Spine transfer between the 2 pools. 22. Rail 2 Rail--Transfer a grind between any 2 rails. 23. Rising from the gutter--Grind the gutter of the building with the tunnel towards the docks and transfer the grind to the upper walkway of the neighboring building. 24. Roof to rail--Grind from the tin roof beside the tunnel onto the rail to the left on the ground. 25. Rooftop hero--Grind the pipe atop the large building uphill from the powerhouse and Ollie over the ductwork and continue the grind. 26. Sik Sewer Ledge Manual--Manual down the ledge of the switchback that is above the large sewer near the tunnel building. from the start of the walkway manual all the way down to the powerhouse, don't fall off. 27. Skate Attic--Hit the ramp beside the tunnel and spine transfer through the large glass window at the top of the building. Land in a grind on the railing inside and grind out the other side.(Also the COMBO mission just Ollie through the window after you get the "O" in combo and grind through it) 28. Swamp Gap--Grind the wire between the lamppost from the dock steps, past the ferry and across the docks. Ollie off the end of the lights and land on top of the teleporter that leads to the parade grounds.. 29. Switchback Shuffle--Transfer a grind between any of the ledges on the switchbacks. 30. Tunnel Clearance--Hit the ramps beside the tunnel and transfer up and over the entrance to the other ramp. 31. Tunnel manual--Manual the short median inside the tunnel. 32. Watertower Roof Lip--Jump out of the pool near the water tower and stall on the top edge of the tower.. 33. Who Bombed the Bathroom? Spine!!!--Spine transfer from the banked wall of the bathroom near the lighthouse all the way down to the red power graffiti below. 34. Bomb Drop Professional--Skate down the dirt path towards the powerhouse and leap off the kicker ramp at the bottom of the slope and Land in a grind on what remains of the 2nd tower. 35. Super-High Water tower Spine--Spine transfer between the bowl inside the water tower and the pool below. The transfer must go through the roof of the tower. 36. Rune's Grommet Gap--Air up from the bowl and lip trick on the grommets skateboard while he hold it over his head on the water tower roof. 37. Rune's Plank Gap--Transfer over the plank on the cell block during Rune's Pro Challenge. 38. Sludge Bomb--Transfer from the roof of the cell block to the pools below. Air off the lip of the roof and up and over the stairwell in the North corner of the roof. 39. Tin Roof Manual--Leap Onto the tin roof, (the little roof on your left as you skate from the start) and manual from one end to the other. 40. Guard Walk 2 Step Planks--Ollie from the ramped part of the guards walk over the wall and onto the plywood lying on he steps near the baseball field. 41. Switchback 1st Leg--Start the manual at the top of the path, near the lighthouse, and balance all the way around the first turn. 42. Switchback 2nd Leg--Keep manualing around the first turn into the 2nd turn and around. 43. Manualed the whole thing--Manual all the way down the switchbacks from the lighthouse all the way to the powerhouse.. 44. Ellisa's Switchback 2 Sewer Pipe--Gap from the top of the switchbacks into the sewer in Ellisa's Pro Challenge. 45. Massive Crumbling Staircase--Ollie the entire set of broken stairs down from the lighthouse to the parade grounds....Full special bar and lots of SPEED required. 46. Foghorn--Grind the railing around the foghorn in the corner of the parade grounds. 47. Ledge 2 Rail--Transfer a grind from a ledge to a rail. Best done in the parade grounds area. 48. Skylight 2 Skylight--Transfer a grind between any 2 skylights on the roof of the cellblock. ******************************** Kona ******************************** 1. Big Block Extension Lip - trick the grey extension in the blue bowl at the end of the snake run. 2. Blue Line Turn 1 - Manual the blue line in the snake run and you get the gap at after the first turn. 3. Channel - Kidney Roll-In - In the bowl where you have to do a 50k combo without hitting the bottles. Transfer over the roll-in channel. 4. Crusty Connections Grind - transfer from the blue ledge in front of the shallow bowl benches to the curved concrete ledges behind the concrete halfpipe. 5. Ledge 2 Ledge - At the end of the snake run, there is a path with wooden rails on either side leading to the street park. Grind the ledge at the end of this path and transfer to the ledge beside of the red and white spectator bench. 6. Ledge 2 Lip - Grind transfer to the right lip edge of the snake run from either one of the short, wooden walls in the grass behind it. 7. Ledge 2 Rail - Transfer from any ledge to any rail. Try the pathway leading to the skate park from the big HP. 8. Rail 2 Ledge - The opposite of the aforementioned BTT. 9. Rail 2 Rail - Find 2 rails and ollie from one to the other. Check the area between the skate park and the big HP. 10. Robot Line Gaps! - Grind the back fence of the street park (the fence behind the "Channel Double roll-in!!" Gap) and transfer to ledge then to curved wooden rail to get the gap. 11. Sidestep the Snake - Start by grinding one of the ledges in the snake run, then ollie to the other side and grind the other ledge. 12. Tombstone Extension Lip trick the grey extension in the red bowl. 13. Wild Man's Bomb Drop - Go on the deck of the small concrete half-pipe and jump in the bowl area with the colorful drawing. 14. Blue Line Turn 2! - Same as Blue Line Turn 1, but you keep manualing to the second turn. 15. Channel - Double Roll-In! - At the end of street park, transfer from one QP to the other, clearing the two roll-ins. 16. Channel - Monster Pipe Roll-In! - In the big HP, transfer over the roll-in. 17. Channel - Ramp 2 Ramp! - The transfer just beside the "Channel - Huge Bank N' Roll" Gap. Jump over the bank from QP to QP. 18. Channel - Single Wedge! - In the middle of the skate park, transfer from the middle QP to one of the two QPs on either side. 19. Highwire Act - Grind or Lip Trick on any of the wires above Kona. Hit the big HP for the easiest way to get to them. 20. Lamp Extension - In the street park you'll find several lampposts. The Crusty Transfer - On the side opposite the deck, transfer from the concrete half pipe to the shallow bowl. 24. Way Transfer - From the left side of the tombstone, spine transfer into the snake run from the pink bowl. 25. Blue Line Turn 3! - Same as Turn 1 and Turn 2. Keep manualing past the 3rd turn for the 3rd of these BTTs. 26. 10 Point Landing!! - From the banks behind the mini spine ramp, launch over the stairs and into a grind or slide trick on the curved blue ledge. 27. 2 Wheelin' the Blue Line - Manual the entire blue line of the snake run! 28. Netting Destroyed--The cables across the top of the traps in the Free Stompy. Grind them.. 28. Ring Around the Column--Starting near the Nelson's Column, Skitch a ride on a bus for a ENTIRE lap around Trafalgar Square and to the statue again.. 29. South Bank Lights--Grind the entire strand of lights near the river, all the way from the Cafe to the corner near the parking garage.. *************************************** Zoo *************************************** 1. Picnic Pop Grind - any picnic table and ollie to any other picnic table. Land in a grind on the other picnic table and you're set. 2. Pop Rock - This is to the right of the aquarium. Grind on the rail. Ollie over the big rock in the middle of the rail. 3. All Exhibits Open - This is in the beginning of the level. You'll need to spine transfer up one of these quarterpipes. This is where you'll spine transfer to. You're going to have to transfer from the quarterpipe in front of you to the quarterpipe on the other side. 4. Arf! Arf! Arf! - You're going to have to jump over the seals. You'll need some speed, then ollie over. 5. Backwoods Path - Start just like you were going to do the goal in which you feed the hippos. Grind the fence and ollie off Land in a grind on the log .Grind down the next log. Grind on the water's edge. Ollie to the log sitting on the grass, and land in a grind on it. Ollie off of it. Land in a grind on the fence. The gap will show up. 6. Bank Gap - Start in between the shops near the entrance of the level. Get air off of the white ledge that slants upward. Land in a grind 7. Banner Gap 1! - the building to your left when you start. get on the roof. Grind across the banner on the right. 8. Banner Gap 2! - the building to your left when you start. get on the roof. Grind across the banner in the middle. 9. Banner Gap 3! - the building to your left when you start. get on the roof. Grind across the banner on the left. 10. Banner Gap 4! - the building to your left when you start. get on the roof. Grind across the banner on the front facing the bridge. you can also use the quarterpipe from the building facing across from the bridge to ride up and grind the banner. 11. Big Moat Transfer - go to the quarterpipe. It's on the opposite side of the bridge is from the starting point of the level. Don't ollie off of it, just skate up to it and turn right with some speed. and land it in the rhino cage. 12. Birdhouse Rail - Start from inside the bird area, left of the aquarium. Start your grind going out of the birdhouse on the rail on the left side. 13. Bridge Transfer - Go to the bridge in the middle make sure you have a lot of speed. Launch up from one side and do a spine transfer over the whole bridge to the other side. 14. Grind Over It - You have to grind over the bridge in the middle of the zoo .if you have opened the aquarium you'll have to ollie over the gap and then land in a grind again. 15. Grind The Whole Planter - Start right at the beginning of the level. Grind the planter until the end. 16. Handrail Hop - just after you go through the turnstiles to enter the park. On your left and right are shops and a handrail separating the main walkway from the side walks. grind the rail and make sure you grind two sections of the rail to get the hop part of the handrail. 17. Hear No Evil - Go to the monkey cages and grind the rails that are in a circle around the outer ring. 18. Hungry, Hungry Hippo Pool - Go to the Hippo's Island, then go up to the higher pool, and grind all the way around the lip.. 19. Long Neck Gap - Go to the area with the giraffes near the snack bar. Go to either quarterpipe. Air off of it, aiming for the other quarterpipe. 20. Low Tide - Go to the inside edge of the quarterpipe in front of the aquarium. Launch up it and lip trick off of the lowest part. 21. Manual Over It - You have to manual over the bridge in the middle of the zoo .If you have opened the aquarium you'll have to ollie over the gap and then land in a manual again. 22. Move Like a Monkey! - This starts the same exact way that "Over The Hills" starts. Go to the area with the monkey cages. Launch up one of the quarterpipes to the top of the monkey cages. Surrounding the roof of the monkey cages is a wall. Grind on top of this wall. Grind it all the way to the end. Ollie off of the wall. Land in a grind on the monkey sign. It'll give you the gap. 23. See No Evil - Go to the monkey cages and grind the rails that are in a circle around the outer ring. 24. Shark Tank Trip - Go inside the aquarium, and face the quarterpipe in front of the shark tank. Air up off of the quarterpipe. Starting grinding the edge of the shark tank and you must ride it all the way around the tank. 25. Snack Bar Hop - Head over to the giraffe area. Air off of one of the quarterpipes so you build up speed. Aim towards the snack bar roof. Land on it for the gap. 26. Speak No Evil - Go to the monkey cages and grind the rails that are in a circle around the outer ring. 27. Wave 2 Wave - Start in front of either side of the aquarium entrance. Gain some speed, then air off of one of the quarterpipes. Aim for the other quarterpipe. 28. Welcome to the Zoo - Spine transfer up one of the quarterpipes at the beginning of the level. Turn around after you spine transfer up. then jump off and land on the roof over the turnstiles. 29. What a long planter! - Start a grind by the monkey cages before the guy in the hut, then grind totally around and follow to the gorilla cages. 30. You Big Gorilla! - Start at the side of the gorilla cage closest to the giraffes. Start grinding as close as you can to the rock going around the ledge. Keep riding it to the planter area. 31. You Drive Me Ape! - Go to the gorilla cage on the side closest to the monkey cage. Start grinding on the planter towards the gorilla cage. Keep grinding around the gorilla cage on the ledge till you get to the rock. 32. You want fries with that? - Head over to the snack bar. Start a grind on the white counter that is attached to the building. 33. zOOrOOfgAp - get on the roof over the turnstiles at the beginning of the level. Ollie off of the corner towards the building on the left. Land in a grind on the building. 34. Aqua Sign Gap - Go to the front of the aquarium. Get air off of either quarterpipe right next to the aquarium entrance. Do a lip trick on the aquarium sign. 35. Big Surf - Go over to the aquarium entrance. Launch off of the quarterpipe in the middle Lip trick the middle spot at the aquarium entrance. 36. Bridge Roof Grind - From the beginning of the level get on the roof above the turnstiles and grind the ledge on the left on top of the building and follow it down to the wire connected to the bridge. 37. Elephant Hop Jump - off of the snack bar and on to the back of the elephant and grind towards his head. if you don't get the gap reload and try again otherwise you will never get this gap. The elephant will leave after you do this. 38. Hold On! Lions Below - Go inside the lion's cage. Get air off of the quarterpipe. Lip on the edge of the cliff. 39. Loop Hole - Gap the loop gap in Bob's Pro Challenge 40. Over The Hills - start this the same way that "Move Like a Monkey!" starts. Go to the area with the monkey cages. Launch up one of the quarterpipes to the top of the monkey cages. Surrounding the roof of the monkey cages is a wall. Grind on top of this wall. Ollie over the hills to the left this will also drop you back into the beginning of the park. 41. Take it to the bridge - Go over to where the bridge is in the middle of the park. Launch off either ramp on the side Make sure you're going fast you have to land on the other quarterpipe on the other side. 42. Lions Den Hop - Start at the top quarterpipe in the lion's den. Ollie off of the hip. Fly over the fence. 43. Over Elephant Rock - Go into the Elephants cage. Get a lot of speed from airing off of the halfpipe on both sides launch over from the outside ramp to the other side of the huge rock. 44. Tidal Wave - Go to the very edge of the quarterpipe in front of the aquarium. Launch up it and lip trick off of the highest part. ************************************ Carnival ************************************ 1. High lip gap - lip the upper balcony on the first aid building, by the billy goat gap. 2. Cock to ledge - grind the inside edge of the chicken cage and jump to grind a red and white striped overhang. 3. Pig Stop Manual - This is the same as the chicken one, YOU CAN'T be going fast since you have to start the manual at the tip of the entrance and go all the way to the end. 4. Shiny Lights - the high wire lights at the start of the level grind the booths and hop over to the light string. 5. Thrill Ride - go into the oval pigpen, ollie and grind the inside ring, ollie out over to the barn overhang, then grind it around over where the "midway transfer" is and then ollie and grind on the rollercoaster track. 6. Swamp Escape - grind the logs in the swamp towards the port a potties and kick up and over the wall back to safety from the alligator. 7. Ledge Hop - jump from ledge to ledge by the midway transfer. 8. Log - Grind the rail and jump onto the log. by the rocket ride. 9. Planter Pop - by the bill goat. grind the ledge then the awning above the billy goat to the next ledge. 10. Rail 2 Rail - Jump from a rail to another Rail. 11. Stair Hop - by the strength test jump over the stairs. 12. Shine Bowl Transfer - Spine From one of the bowls to the other where all the bowls are on the building. 13. Billy Goat Gap - jump from ledge to ledge over the billy goat. 14. Chicken Sh.. Manual - manual and hit all the chickens. in the chicken coup. 15. Counter Grind - Grind the whole counter where the the target pratice is. 16. Low Lip Gap - lip the Lower balcony on the first aid building, by the billy goat gap. 17. Over the Barn Doors - from barn hop jump over the barn doors to get it. 18. Ride and Puke - transfer from one QP to the other QP infront of the Abductor. 19. 3 cow manual - manual and hit all 3 cow heads in the barn. 20. From The Charity Stripe - in the basket ball game booth go from one vert to the other 21. High Wire Act - Same as Banner up! 22. Midway Transfer - Transfer from one QP to the other. to the right of the streghth test 23. From Downtown - in the basketball game booth go from the vert in the 1st booth to the last booth. 24. Win a Prize - on tip of the strenght test is a bill go up the vert and hit it. 25. WHAT A TRIP - Grind the whole coaster from the roof to the floor. 26. Nice Veiw up here - Lip one of the bukets on the merry go round till you reach the top. 27. Almost Neversoft - on the strenght test jump a certain hight 28. Congrats on your first ollie - on the strenght test jump but dont ollie to get this one. 29. Barn Hop: Go to the bowl above the green dragon ride and face back towards the park entrance. Grind the lip in front of you to the left and it'll take you through a window. Land in a grind on the barn and you'll get the transfer. 30. Gummy da Gator: Grind the logs out in the swamp behind the Rockin Rockitz. Start the grind on the Chicken/Pig side of the swamp. 31. Midway Manual: In front of the Abductor there is a rather huge red barn with a hallway running through it. There is a large awning running down the side with the Ding Dong (the thing with the bell). The awning is being held up by support poles along a long flat area that is broken in the middle by the path leading to the cows. You have to jump into a manual in between the support beams, hold the manual to the break, ollie across to the other side and land in a manual *still between the support poles*, and carry the manual to the end. 32. Nice view but its no penthouse: Transfer the ramps with the bell ring game across from the abductor at various heights. There are 5 gaps here at different heights. 33. Ive tripped higher than that - Transfer the ramps with the bell ring game across from the abductor at various heights. 34. Limp Noodle - Transfer the ramps with the bell ring game across from the abductor at various heights. 35. Foot on the Line: The basketball booths, go from the first to the third, or the second to the fourth. There are other gaps here, if you go from 1 to 4, or 1 to 2. This is the 1 to 3 gap. 36. Roof Dragon Gap: Get up on top of the barn, and ollie off into the bowl of the dragon ride. Real easy once you find it. The dragon ride is *NOT THE BIG ROLLER COASTER*. It's the littler slow moving ride 37. Barn Hole Manual: Manual the entire pathway through where the cows are, from the Abductor to the Angry Dragon. Easy 38. Abductor lip manual - Anyways have a little speed and at the back of the abductor is a platform, manual this around from the start around the corner then to the end and viola. 39. Angry Window : u know that small dragon coaster with a pool in the middle , go into the pool and grind the edge , you'll launch through a square , one of the two squares is it. 40. Back Porch - is on top of all the pools there is a wooden shack stall on the roof for the gap. 41. Banner up - Go to the little alley where where the spare tracks for the roller coaster are, get a good speed by grinding the tracks (heading towards "the abductor") jump on to and grind the wire with the multicolored flags, it should give it to you...also if you keep going you will get the high wire act gap too 42. Haunted Teacup Gap - is done by grinding the game booths which take you over the haunted house and then you jump to the wire connected to the teacups 43. Male Chicken to Ledge - is done by grinding the inside edge of the chicken cage and jumping to grind a red and white striped overhang 44. Pig Stop Manual: This is the same as the chicken one, I did it coming from the dragon coaster towards the start of the level. YOU CAN'T be going fast since you have to start the manual at the tip of the entrance and go all the way to the end. 45. Rim Rocking - Do a lip trick on a basketball ramp over by the Abductor ride ****************************************** Chicago ****************************************** 1. Heart Attack: From where you start the level, go to the street to your right. You should see an awning that says Heart Attack something-or-other near where the bus is parked. In front of that awning there is a small staircase with quarter-pipes on either side. Transfer from one QP to the other to get the gap. 2. Lip Extension - Go near the river and look back at the buildings. One of them should have a couple alcoves in the side of the building. These alcoves have vert ramps in them. There is a bar slightly above each of these verts. Simply lip trick on this bar 3. River Barrier Manual - There's a stone barrier above the river side that has an angle in it, manual the barrier for the gap. 4. Blue Awning: Go across the closed bridge. Grind the ledge on the left and ollie over the blue awning into a grind on the opposite ledge. 5. Ferry Princess - just grind the rail that leads to the ferry from the tunnel, jump before you get to the ramp and wire that can get you onto it, and grind the side of the ferry. Rail to ferry. 6. Ferry to Surface - Jump off the ramp on the Ferry to the Surface street. 7. Frothy Lip - done by liping the quarter pipe over the java stand 8. Modern Gap - grind on the red sculpture on one of the street corners by the river. 9. Over TWO Tracks - grind one side of the train tracks and transfer all the way over to the other side in a grind. easiest way is to grind the inside of the curve and ollie forward to the other side in a grind. 10. River Side Manual - Just go down to where you knocked the b-ballers down in a combo, and manual all the way from one ramp to the other. 11. Take it to the Bridge - when ever the center of the bridge breaks there is a gap, and when ever you use the quarters to make this gap is when you get that. 12. Tight ledge manual - go to the end of the train tracks at the restaurant on the balcony. If you stand directly under the tracks looking across the street you'll see a ledge in the alley on the left hand side, ollie onto it and manual across 13. Yellow to Yellow: Grind from one yellow railing to the other. They're underneath the train tracks near the start 14.High art transfer - is done by jumping from one part of the split quarter pipe by the big art museum. the pipe is broken up by rampy sections. 15. Bench-2-Planter - Grind a Bench and jump and grind to a Planter. 16. Bench-2-Rail - Grind a Bench and jump and grind to a Rail. 17. Ledge-2-Planter - Grind a Ledge and jump and grind to a Planter. 18. Ledge-2-Rail - Grind a Ledge and jump and grind to a Rail. 19.
