For a couple of days now it has become increasingly apparent that the talks
between Microsoft and Discord regarding the purchase of said communications
system, is ever more likely.

Microsoft are apparently putting up $10B, yes you read that right 10 Billion
dollars(!) to purchase Discord, if that happens it could be a disaster for a
great little platform.

With all that in mind, me and a couple of friends have been working to get a
new community server up and running, this time secure, self hosted and
federated and its name is, MATRIX.

I'll cut right to the chase here; without the help from Paulie420 and Crewmate
it would have gone a lot slower, and I am super grateful for their help and
patience.

Once the sign-up is open for all please feel free to come use it and chat with
us. If you are a member of any other MATRIX server, and use a client like
riot/element etc, you can hit me up at @meatlotion:erb.pw or

and you can come and join our community server once the doors are fully open.
