Let's talk about paranoia

For years, users have been told that fears around social media are paranoid.
Okay. I offer you an overview of the news of recent weeks to controvert that 
argument once again. Web 2.0 technologies are dysfunctional and dangerous to
society.
1) Facebook will not notify 530 million users of data breaches;
2) Cybercriminals sell data to 500 million LinkedIn users. As proof of data 
authenticity, sellers offer 2 million profiles for free;
3) The American was arrested for trying to "kill 70% of the Internet." A Texas
resident intended to blow up one of Amazon's data centers in Virginia;
4) Hackers leaked data of 1.3 million users of the social network Clubhouse.
5) In Moscow, fraudsters apply for loans using biometrics. In Moscow, there 
have been multiple cases of fraudsters using customer votes for obtaining 
loans or other financial products.
And I can continue this kind of news for a very long time. Nobody is 
responsible for the possible consequences. Everyone pretends that nothing is 
happening. But then don't be surprised with how easily the economy and society
collapse. After all, who owns information rules the world.
