About relocation of factories to China

I have one question. Why all old computers, for example, c64 work more than 
30 years without problems? At the same time, new computers, the newer they 
are, the more often they break down. Why did all technical things, regardless
of price, become disposable? Experts say this is due to planned obsolescence. 
For reduce the cost of goods. But this is a lie. The c64 computer cost $ 149 
on January 1, 1986. Adjusted for inflation $ 149 in 2021, $ 362. At a cost 
price of c64 in 1985, $ 25. Adjusted for inflation, $ 25 in 2021 is $ 60.8. 
Taking into account the monitor and additional devices, the price of the 
average c64 in 1986 was $ 350 or $ 851.26 in 2021. 
Americans convinced that it would be more profitable and cheaper to produce 
things in China. But is it? Modern Chinese technology is specially made 
non-repairable. The Chinese do it on purpose. At the same time, the cost of 
the same computers not lower. Laptops break down quickly. Laptops are expens 
more $ 851. But laptop last more than 30 years? No! And c64 of course. Since 
this is verified experimentally.
So why has the relocation of factories to China made things worse? It turns 
out that American workers could make better and cheaper computers, while the 
Chinese make low-quality and expensive ones? I am certainly not an expert in 
economics. But everything looks like snake-oil operation.
