China & US Trade Accusations Over US Navy Spy Ship

China and the United States are trading accusations after five Chinese
ships approached a US Navy surveillance vessel off the southern Chinese
island of Hainan. China accused the US of violating international and
Chinese laws by conducting illegal surveying. Pentagon officials said
the ship was in international waters. The US accused the Chinese of
harassing the spy vessel.
