Reparations, Israel Dropped from UN Racism Text

Negotiators drafting the declaration for next month’s UN Conference
Against Racism have acceded to US and European Union demands and dropped
references to Israel and reparations for slavery. The Obama
administration has vowed to boycott the conference unless the two issues
are dropped from conference text.
