BP Attempt to Stop Oil Spill Fails

BP’s initial attempt to stop the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico
has failed. Over the weekend, the company placed a giant four-story
containment box over the spill, but the box kept getting clogged with
ice crystals. An estimated 3.5 million gallons of oil have spilled since
April 20.
